Adventureland is a wonderful nursery, my daughter has been there for a year and has come on leaps and bounds. She happily strolls in every morning. The practitioners are all lovely, the whole place has a real family feel.
Went to Little Hooligans as other venue we’d planned to visit was unexpectedly closed.
Definitely a good thing. Place was clean, young lady was tidying tables, another lady taking food/drink orders was very pleasant and helpful even though she was run ragged. Definitely another member of staff needed along with the 3 I saw. It was half term and naturally busy.
I don’t live in the area so relied on google maps directions to arrive by car, this was not helpful though as you cannot park at the venue, we eventually figured out we had to park at the local Asda where no lifts were working.

Best halloween party.. the staff went out there way to make it an incredible night for the children. We all had so much fun . Thank you . 😊
We had a party here for our son's 5th birthday and the staff were great. They were very attentive and made an effort to make sure the day went to plan. We enjoy going there generally because its cleaner than most and the party space is ample for little kids. Also wanted to say a huge thank you to Kerry who was the party host and my right hand. She went above and beyond to make sure our son had the best party. She was very organised, friendly with the kids and adults and was always on hand to help with whatever we needed. We would definitely recommend little hooligans for parties and will be booking one in future for our younger child.

Used to love coming here with the kids especially when it was first opened but sad to say service seems to be declining as time passes. Staff used to be quite welcoming but our recent experience was really bad. There were two blond girls that were quite rude from the very moment we entered. Their customer service and people skills were non existent. Took my daughter there for her birthday to have some fun with her sis and cousins and chose to not make a big deal of anything for her sake. Husby had already had a quick word at the beginning. There seems to be a special treatment if you booked a party room or you don’t get a great service.

We used Apple Blossom Alnwick as our childcare provider for our daughter Ayla (2 1/2). I have to say from the moment we met the team they were so friendly, put us at ease and really welcomed in Ayla.
I could not rate this place enough for the variety of activities, learning, fun and love that has been shown to my daughter during our time there.
All the staff greet you wonderfully and are full of energy. I want to say a special thanks to Laura for your patience with us, Gemma for your key role in really getting to know Ayla and how she ticks and building that relationship and of course ‘smiley’ Sarah for your energy and enthusiasm consistently for a year!

Had our daughters birthday here with the exclusive hire option! It was just as I had imagined I just wish we had longer! Holly and Kelly were great hosts, they helped from beginning to end and they were so lovely. They didn't try and takeover they allowed me to have everything as I wanted and were always at hand to help. Our daughter and our guests loved every second of it even the grown ups. The venue was very clean. Big thank you to Kelly and Holly! You'll be seeing us again.
My daughter has being going to the playhouse since she was 6 months old. She loves going, and I feel like I am leaving her with family when I go to work. Amy, and all the staff are fantastic! They have helped to nurture her development, and she has developed so much over the 2 years she has been going. The range of activities they do are amazing, both indoors and outdoors. I cannot recommend the playhouse nursery highly enough.
My daughter absolutely loves her days at The Playhouse (she often wants to go in on her days off!) and, as a parent, I am very happy to send her as I know that she's going to a place where the staff are all kind and nurturing, and where she will develop so many skills- from academic to social. Amy and the staff care so deeply for the children in their care, and it's clear from the fun daily activities and the exciting trips out, that they put a lot of effort into making sure the children are developing in a well-rounded way. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds in her confidence!
I would recommend The Playhouse highly to anyone looking for childcare. It feels like a real family setting. Everyone who works there is friendly and approachable and the children form deep friendships with each other- it's lovely to see how caring the older children are with the younger ones.

Absolutely the best childcare I've ever encountered for any of my 4 children. never ever had any problems with anything. my son loves going which tells you in itself what kind of care he is receiving whilst there. Highly recommended
Amy and her team have cared for our son for over 3 years now and we have been nothing but delighted by the level of love, care and attention which has been given to his happiness and development. Our son has built fantastic relationships with the whole team and will miss them dearly when he starts school. We have loved being able to confidently leave our son with Amy knowing that he will be treated like an extension of her family. Thank you for everything.
Amy and the team are excellent! Couldn’t be happier! My son has been going for 2 months and can already see him devolving and getting more confident. We get daily activity logs so we can see what he’s been up to. Would definitely recommend!!!
Amy and the team at the Playhouse are beyond exceptional care givers. My son has been with Amy and her team for almost 4 years. The team have great communication with parents, are easy to speak to and are responsive when you need them. My son struggles with his behaviour as he is growing up alongside his brother who is severely autistic. The incredible support we receive from Amy and the team has been first class, and I could never consider another setting for my son. Even after moving across Nottingham, I still make the daily drive to take him to the playhouse, because I wouldn't want anyone else caring for my son whilst my husband and I are at work. My sons confidence, speech and overall growth has alot to do with the team at the playhouse, our extended family.
The Playhouse provides an excellent childminding service for my children. They are collected from school and cared for as their own. My girls love being at The Playhouse. Would highly recommend them.
Took grandson here today, its OK. Lot of space available to sit, play area is good but for the space available could be better. Price and time available to play is good, sadly you have to buy socks to enter though. This makes the visit more expensive to some of us who are already on a tight budget, especially when you want a drink each as well. Nice place but been to cheaper and better place elsewhere.
Also no sandwiches for kids, to say it's a play centre, so more expense on food.
We came here to try a different place than our regular place in Brownhills. I think we stick to what we know and go back there.

The place is alright,the food prices are ridiculous high and the amount of food u receive even worst…waiting time for food really long as well…

We were in Scotland for 1.5 years , moved during lockdown. My kid started here when he was 2 yr old. This is one of the best nurseries he has been to. The staff and the management is excellent, very honest and loving. The way they look after the kids, detailed hand over at the end of the day is what we really appreciated. The nursery building, cleanliness and their outdoor garden is commendable. Well done and keep it up.
This nursery is brilliant my son loves it here and has settled in really well. The staff are lovely here. My son gets involved in lots of activities and has lots of fun. I would reccomend this nursery to anyone
This Nursery is the best what happened to us in Scotland. And taking into account that everything what happens to us in this country is good - it means a lot.
Our son and daughter have been attending the nursery for 3 months now and I can confidently say that they are happy. Everybody who works there is so caring and thoughtful.
I hope one day we will come back home to Ukraine, but I already know well that it will be very hard to say goodbye to all these nice people...

We had a very bad experience with Reddam House. Despite having paid the registration fees and following up multiple times, they did not provide any update on whether or not they can provide admission to our child. We decided to not put our child here having experienced this, this was a reflection on what care they'd provide for our child and how our concerns would be addressed in future.
Today is our son's last day at Holyrood as we are moving away. We are absolutely gutted that he has to leave as he adores all the staff who have taken the time to settle him in and get to know him.
He has been so well looked after and we have felt so reassured leaving him in their care.
Our little boy always eats everything he is given at nursery and the menus are nutritious with great variety.
There is a great emphasis on outdoor play and the garden is deceptively big for all of the children to enjoy.
We would recommend Holyrood to anybody, the staff care so much and go out of their way to organise lovely trips and events such as the Jubilee tea party.

Absolutely amazing a fun place for my little one he had so much fun today. Love how clean & tidy the soft play area is & how very friendly the staff were upon arriving through out & leaving. Amazing food selections for children & adults 😋 i have to also say the coconut & raspberry cake was super yummy 😋 the sensory area was epic my little one & his daddy enjoyed it so much. Were definitely going back tomorrow for another epic day this time involving there new messy play toddler sessions 9.30am till 11.30 am overall its our top rated so far. & we cant wait to go again. 😆

Both my children have attended Swans and have been well looked after and nurtured. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond for children and parents. A lovely family style day nursery.
I have 2 children attending the Adventureland Day Nursery with my third due to start later this year. My eldest child initially attended a different nursery , however after receiving a glowing recommendation from a friend , I visited Adventureland nursery and it was the best thing I did!

When we decided to send our daughter to Nursery we visited many nurseries but Adventureland Day Nursery was the only one that she was happy to walk off and explore on a visit. All of the staff were kind and reassuring and I knew from that first visit that this was the nursery place for her. Now she is showing an increase in her development which is being noticed in nursery and at home. I can’t thank the Adventureland Day Nursery staff enough for their support and guidance the past 6 months
We looked around several different nursery's in the local area and although Adventureland wasn't the closest to where we live it had the friendliest staff and just a very "homely" vibe. It was colourful, cheerful and very welcoming straight away and I instantly knew Lottie would be so happy here and I was right. My little girl has not spent a day away from me in her 3 year life so I was very hesitatant to leave her but I honestly cannot praise them enough. She LOVES coming coming to Nursery and has settled so well. Thank you Adventureland for making our Nursery journey so far such a positive one 😊

My son who is 3 absolutely loves being a part of the Dragonflies and constantly talking about his ‘nursery ladies’ he loves playing on the play frame each morning. He eats better than he does at home and I genuinely feel like he is thriving. I think he will be in a brilliant position when he starts primary school.
I have always been impressed with the end of day update I get from the ladies it’s throughout and honest. My daughter is in the baby room and It’s really important for me to know what type of day she has had, even the bad ones (which a few and far between)
I love the app you use it makes me feel really involved in their day even though I am not there.

My daughter has attended Apple Blossom Nursery for the past 2 years and we are so pleased we made this choice for her. She has developed so much in this time and goes in each morning bouncing with excitement about the day ahead. The ladies are all lovely and make everyday enjoyable and educational. They have catered for my daughter's allergies and even helped with potty training! I highly recommend this nursery
Really impressed with the care the staff provide to my daughter. She has settled in quickly and this has made my return to work so much easier. The activities and outings the nursery organise have exceeded expectations. They are also managing her food allergies brilliantly. Would recommend
I was so worried about putting my child into nursery but apple blossom has been amazing. She loves going and is always so happy when I go and pick her up. She loves the food and the people that work there are just fantastic. Worth every penny!

I would highly recommend Apple Blossom Nursery. All the staff are professional, caring and committed, and my daughter has a beaming smile every time she goes. The activities and outings they do exceed expectations, and they have really helped my daughters development and confidence
Wow where do I even start? What an amazing nursery this is with such lovely ladies working there. We enrolled my daughter in April time this year and she has never been to a nursery before. I have always been a stay at home mum but have recently started working part time. She has been at Apple Blossom Alnwick for around 7 months now and she is absolutely thriving, her confidence and her speech in particular. During lockdown it was hard for my daughter to interact with other children and we feel this impacted her speech development, she now has amazing little friendships at Nursery and absolutely loves all of the girls who work there. They all work so hard and are real life super women, they do not get the credit they deserve and as a family we are so very grateful for all of them. Thank you girls for making my daughter the happiest for the 3 days she joins you each week, as a mum that is all you could ever hope for and I am so proud of the little lady she is becoming!
Fantastic Nursery.
The staff are all lovely and will go out of their way to help accomadate you. My youngest still attends and my eldest recently finished and has started school with all the skills he needs to progress further thanks to the girls at adventureland.

all the staff are very kind and friendly ,Warm, considered, smart and very caring ,they always make time to talk to the parents.

My daughter has attended adventureland nursery the last 6 months and she has settled in lovely. The staff are fabulous and put a lot of time and effort into making it a home from home environment. My daughter had a lovely relationship with her Key worker! Thank you so much to all the staff x
My son has been attending this nursery for 3 months now and has settled in brilliantly. The staff in his room are always helpful and have built a great relationship with my son. 100% would recommend.
My child has been attending the setting for the last 3 months and I can’t thank the team enough for all they have done. Whilst arranging settling sessions, the management team were very flexible and made it very clear that the amount of settling sessions my little boy had was completely dependent upon him and I thought this was fab as not all nurseries take this approach. It’s clear to see that the nursery values each child and will do all they can to provide a happy and caring environment. My little one is always happy to see the ladies and has built such a lovely bond with everyone in the setting, especially the ladies on his floor and the management team. I can’t think of a better nursery to watch my little one grow in. Thanks ladies!
Worst school I could have ever chose to go to. They didn't care how miserable I was when being bullied for 7 years straight. They said I would never amount to anything.. Even though with my own work, I have started a very successful career. The teachers were extremely condescending and made you feel so belittled and worthless. Reddam House absolutely ruined what Bearwood College was too.. It doesn't exist anymore and they couldn't care less. They put their own agendas before anyone else's. They couldn't have cared less that during a psychology A-Level exam in my lower sixth year, they had drilling going on in the next room to make way for their renovations, showing no care in the world for their students. Absolutely awful school and I hated being a student there, would definitely not recommend this school for anyone.
My son started from toddlers room until preschool.. he had a fantastic experience and progressed a lot. The staff and the management team were very supportive and did their absolute best work to help him develop his speech and confidence. Very well done to hloyrood nursery prestwich
I can not recommend Marlston House and Brockhurst enough. My two girls love this school so much that it is hard to tear them away at the end of the day and I am frequently asked to come back later if there is the option to stay.

when I first viewed Holyrood prestwich I fell in love with it instantly. As I walked in it felt like a home from home and a familiar scent which took my mind back to when I was at nursery many years ago. My daughter attended from baby room 2 all the way through to preschool and even now as she is almost entering year 1 at school she still asks about certain key workers . my son loves nursery and when he goes he doesn't even turn around to say goodbye. management have a good rapport with parents and value all opinions. The outdoor space is fantastic and there is no where else I would like my child to be.
Holyrood nursery is amazing, the staff are so polite and friendly. My daughter has been going for 3 months and has come on so much. She loves her teacher. My nephew went to Holyrood over 5 years ago which made me choose it and it didnt disappoint, the standards are still as high. I definitely recommend this nursery .
Its a pity they dont treat there staff as well as they do the children under there control.

I really enjoy Brockhurst it is a great school you should really send your kids there
My daughter joined Reddam House in Sept. 2016 as a y7 pupil. She is a keen and bright student. Reddam House have helped her to blossom in all areas, both academically and other pursuits, from PE, Dance, Gym, Public Speaking, Drama and Art etc. There is a fantastic ethos at the school, the building, grounds and facilities are amazing. I particularly like the focus on regular weekly testing, helping to develop exam techniques, stretching those who can achieve as well as those who need extra support. The Reddam school day is longer than most, with extra time at the end of each school day (4pm -5.15pm) for activities. These vary from choir, rock climbing, Pottery, cooking, debating, musical drama, various sports, IT and so much more. providing the pupils with so many opportunities to learn and develop a wide range of skills and experiences. Although not used as yet, I like the idea of the Flexi boarding, when parents can book their child in for an overnight stay if necessary. Small class sizes make it easier to learn and tailor a pupils specific needs too. All in all, it has most definitely been the best decision I have made for my daughters education.
My child is progressing very well since joining in September. More importantly my child is happy, settled and enjoying school. Staff and pupils are friendly and encouraging. Also feel very welcome as a parent.

My daughter is in her second year at Reddam House and it was the best decision we have ever made. She loves going to school and the teaching is fantastic. Her confidence has grown and the range of activities available for the children to take part in are second to none. We are made to feel that our child is important within the school community and we are looking forward to our second child starting shortly.
Our daughter has joined Reddam House in September 2017 and we can honestly say it was the best decision we have ever made. She loves going to school, her confidence has blossomed, she loves all of the lessons and sports, she already seems like a completely different child – happy, confident, interested in her education. The academic interest is nicely balanced with multiple sports practiced every week. The school takes a special interest in identifying something unique in each child and promotes that, we feel that is such an amazing approach. The standard of education is high, the teachers and staff have been so carefully chosen, the management team is approachable and friendly,the communication with the school is excellent, we feel our child is loved and important and looked after. Reddam House really is No 1 school in Berkshire for us!

I do not understand this poor review above. Acorn Park excel in the care of my child. The ladies go out of the way not only to care for her but also to help her get the best learning experience in a fun way. I am amazed at how well she is developing and this is due to there being such a stimulating environment, with well planned out activities. The management always keep us up to date of every little thing and they are constantly looking for ways to improve, enabling us to feedback. The nursery provide a five star service to our child and to us as parents. Not only that but we feel like it like a little family at Acorn Park and that they really care for my child's wellbeing.
Don’t like the management and how they deal the situation regarding any bad behaviour by a child. Very busy nursery and staff had no idea what’s going on what a child is doing through out day. Less experienced staff. It’s just a business for them nothing else.
My two boys go to Reddam House and they have loved it from day one. They started in reception and year 3 respectively and have been keen to get to school every single day. The facilities are fantastic - huge beautifully maintained grounds, a swimming pool, state of the art gym and vibrant modern classrooms.
But it's the teachers that really motivate the kids - my boys love them. Their blended approach to learning is terrific and they are all great role models for the children.
My youngest flourished in reception last year and he has built on that foundation in year one. And is already looking forward to year two! Academically the kids are strong and secure, and more importantly they are well rounded and happy children. You can't ask for more than that.

As parents we couldn't be happier, the staff are passionate about teaching the children, the lessons are presented enthusiastically and there seems to be a caring and interested attitude towards the children.
My daughters attitude towards school and her work ethic has completely changed from being really quite lazy and not caring to wanting to do well and impress her teachers, she is extremely happy and settled very quickly.
