We booked this class for one of our birthday celebrations. We weren’t sure what to expect, however from the moment we booked Sangeeta was lovely and informative. She provided all the details of the class and also made suggestions to make it a more interactive class. Leading up to the class Sangeeta was just so friendly and kept us posted on locations, timings and useful information.
The class itself was so well managed and Sangeeta was really informative and patient. She guided us all but let us work to our own pace. We never felt rushed and her way of explaining things meant we could let our creative juices flow! I would 100% recommend the class and any others run by Sangeeta!
Lovely Watercolour Workshop run on Hounslow High Street with all members of the community welcomed to take part. Some beautiful work produced!
CPP Hounslow has worked with Sans Art on a number of occasions, delivering high quality arts workshops across Hounslow. Sangeeta is great to work with and a brilliant facilitator, ensuring everyone feels welcome and providing high quality materials and projects for all to get involved in.
I attended my first Sans Art class on Sunday. It was the Sip and Paint session in Chiswick. I had a really enjoyable time with lovely people and a relaxing atmosphere. I am not a brilliant painter but was encouraged and motivated and left the session in high spirits. I will definitely attend other sessions.
San is an inspirational art teacher. After many years of not using art materials, her patience and teaching style brought back my interest in doing art under San’s watchful eye. Highly recommend her classes for novice and those accomplished.
Always a great atmosphere with willing participants at Sangeeta’s art classes and workshops. She suggests a theme but always leaves it open to your interpretation and then starts with a loosening exercise to get into the flow, everyone quickly dissolves into a meditative flow state and immerses themselves in the colours, designs and serenity of art.

I’ve been to many of her Sunday workshops and thoroughly enjoy the company, Sangerta’s helpful advice, eye and technique, and really enjoy seeing how everyone can produce something completely different to the other with the simplest of instruction.

All materials are provided and the setting is peaceful yet engaging.
Stephen was an absolutely amazing and wonderful teacher for my daughter, who applied to a few very prestigious undergraduate Fashion Design Colleges in the USA and Europe. She worked with Stephen for over 6 months, and we are certain that Stephen's involvement in this process played a crucial role in her acceptance to the best design college in the USA. He was very patient and creative with the entire portfolio pieces. My daughter and I are very grateful to have had Stephen on our team. She loved working with Stephen!

I organised for Stephen to come in to our Dell Technologies office to run a group painting exercise with a large team (80 people). We had five groups over the course of three hours. Stephen was fantastic. He made the experience fun for all involved and we ended up with a masterpiece which we will hang in the office. Thank you!

Recently completed 2 courses back to back (beginners in acrylics and Abstract for beginners). As a complete beginner, i was quite nervous but Stephen was great (knowledgeable and friendly) and really encouraging. The classes are small (max 5 people), and i found this worked well for me when i got a little frustrated with my progress (everyone was so supportive & friendly).
I've learnt so much and i've just signed up for another course in Jan :) Fully recommend - great for beginners like me and those with more experience.

Wonderful gem of a gallery, featuring contemporary works and a serious contribution to the art world. I really enjoyed the work on show and as an artist I really enjoy the gallery’s enthusiasm and professionalism. today’s ‘artists talks’ were a real insight into the work on display and thoroughly welcome.

Really enjoyed the Painting for Beginners course and would recommend to anyone new to or not very confident in painting techniques. Stephen created a friendly and relaxed environment and tailored the course to what the group wanted to learn. I loved that there was a small group of us and feel I learned a lot. I plan to try Stephen's other courses in future. Thank you!
Unexpected encounter with an exceptional painter at an exhibition. Sangeeta’s paintings are vivid and colourful, easy on the eye and would make excellent wall art. She paints like a modern impressionist, with a fearless palette of bold colour, but well restrained and very accessible. Hang one of her paintings of flowers on your wall, and you will have a permanent floral bouquet all year around!

Fantastic free art gallery, with a surprisingly high quality level of art work in the summer exhibition that rivalled the summer exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts I went to a couple of weeks ago in London, great curating! I would definitely recommend this art gallery. Went here after a visit to the pen museum and 1000 Trades independent pub, so it made a fabulous day out today despite the rain and I will be back soon to see what other exhibitions are on.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon. The gallery is quiet and modern-looking on the inside. The staff were very friendly and encouraging, and chatted happily about pieces they personally enjoyed from the current exhibition (their Summer Exhibition featuring mixed media artwork). There is a lift as well as stairs. Toilets are available. The shop on the ground floor has something for everyone, from cute postcards to tote bags to ceramics and jewellery. The shop accepts cards. Admission is free but a £5 donation is encouraged, which can be paid in cash or by scanning a QR code which directs you to pay online.

Went to Stephen for some one-to-one tuition as I am self taught in portraiture and wanted some ideas on how to further develop my own style. Stephen has a wealth of knowledge, is sensitive and very skilled in facilitation. I came away with more space and possibility to try new things out. I attended a one day drawing class with Stephen first which was a very enjoyable day. The atmosphere he creates uplifts your ability from the get go, so he subtly pushes your potential by seemingly doing nothing. Highly recommended!

Great small gallery over three floors in a nice old part of Birmingham. I saw the Prize Exhibition 2022 and spent ages being fascinated by the remarkable array of different styles and media. The quality of the work was extremely impressive. Well worth a visit. Admission is free but the experience certainly deserves a donation.
Thoroughly enjoyed it and grew. Did the beginners course for acrylics. Never done it. Always curious. Nervous about the material, the process and the techniques. Turns out everyone was in that boat. Phew. Stephen was engaging, fun, informative and supportive. The environment and approach made you feel like an artist, not a rookie. I learnt about terminology, hacks, and styles. Also got a bonus experiment with oil on canvas. Would recommend. Also, don't slack on the paints. I did. I ended going back to the art shop 3 times.

A small gallery in the Jewellery Quarter, it is near St Paul's Square. They have exhibitions on. Vote if you want for your favourite artwork, voluntary donation. The gallery has a history going back a few centuries, and was formerly on New Street until the end of the 20th century .
Absolutely loved doing a colour course with Stephen at Art Courses. It was great to try painting in oils (which I'd never done before) and try a different way of working than usual to challenge myself. Stephen is really approachable and gives good feedback and direction. I enjoyed the class very much, it was fun and not too formal or pretentious. If you are looking to improve your skills in a friendly environment, this is the place. Hoping to do join another course in the summer. Would definitely recommend!
I have been following Sangeeta's work on the social media for quite sometime and must say that it is truly a remarkable body of work. Her use of colours, and artistic visualisation bring refreshing liveliness in her art. I have acquired two of her prints and both of these have been very well appreciated.

Such a lovely Gallery to visit, the standard of work is exceptional and I loved the variety of artistic mediums too. The prices for the art are really good and reasonable as well the prices of the arts and craft in the Craft Shop. The shop has some lovely handmade items too from local crafts people. It is free entry so is a must visit gallery in Birmingham!
