Best Beer gardens in United Kingdom

I’m a ‘BrewDog’ fan, & love my ‘local’ bar. Always sure of great service, welcome, & of course drinks in this bar. It’s fair to say I’ve become a regular in this place - the team, including Laurence, Joe, Cam, Jen, & Sinead are all first class.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a lovely local place to go. The toilets could do with updating though they are in a dire need of new toilet seats, doors etc.

I came here for dinner with my family who stayed in the hotel, a few night ago. We were served by Aaliyah who went the extra mile ensuring our glasses were never empty from wine and immediately offered water upon arrival. Very smiley, very attentive! Amazing service.

Best roast dinner in London, the pub is very dog and baby friendly, the manager Dan was very welcoming and my baby adored him. Our waitress Lisa was AMAZING, she was able to explain everything on the menu and give us great wine options to go with our meal. Our experience would have not be the same without her !!!!!!Can not wait to come again.

Me and my group arrived with only 15 mins to spare before the kitchen closed, and we were very lucky to be served. Our server Katrina couldn’t have been more accommodating, her service was fantastic. The food we had was great, we especially liked the pork belly and chicken liver parfait. There was a great atmosphere in the pub in general, and would highly recommend for a late night dinner any time.

I had an amazing experience here with my friends. Aaliyah, our waitress, kindly served us and went above and beyond. She was very helpful and pleasant. The food was also delicious. The location is perfect and the restaurant is gorgeous! I highly recommend coming here for a fantastic time.

Decent pub food at a sensible price, friendly atmosphere and staff.

The staff at this hotel/pub were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

Thankyou for Lana especially for helping during check in to my new boutique room made my stay 100x better.

We needed to change our booking by increasing numbers twice in the week before our Sunday lunch and Tracy was very accommodating each time, we had an amazing lunch and will definitely be back soon👏👏👏

Worst roast dinner I've ever been served. Tiny portion (2 roasties), gravy was like water and the whole meal was tasteless. Such a disappointing Sunday lunch. I would've asked for a refund (we paid upon ordering) however there was no service, no staff to ask and no-one came to ask if everything was ok.

We went for the kids pizza making class which is on the last Sunday of each month. A great way to keep the kids occupied while the adults chatted! My wee boy didn't like pizza that much until he made his own. Now he loves it!
The grown up menu is small plates, so get some friends together and enjoy! Great venue too!

Visited at Saturday lunchtime, wasn’t too busy. Had two rounds of drinks and some food, ordered olives and the bbq chicken pizza, both good, the pizza was freshly made. Friendly staff, good selection of beers

Lovely village pub, tasteful decor, good choice of back ground music, friendly staff and good value quality food. The only downfall was we had reserved a particular table which had been given away due to staff not checking the booking information and no reserved notice was put on the table.

Really really nice garden, outdoor bar and good selection of drinks. Definitely a place to visit when it's nice outside and dog friendly too!

Food was good enough for the price, but nothing spectacular. Better than spoons and other chain gastropubs but not as good as a 'proper' restaurant. I'd certainly eat here again, but I wouldn't come for the food explicitly.

Really surprised at how good this was & the value for money! HUGE portion sizes. Lovely staff. Would definitely come back for a bite to eat & a few drinks.

If your looking for a dog friendly place, look no further. With our food came some dog treats and the waitress even brought him some water.

Lovely place, nicely decorated, and laid out. Clean, comfortable, super friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices, super fast service and nice size portions of food.Dogs most definitely welcome with lovely little touches like dog bowls, water, blankets, beds & treats. Plenty of parking and seating inside and out.

Booked a time slot, but had to wait an hour to order, even though the restaurant was half full. Finally got to order our food although the server needs lessons in hospitality lol. I ordered my mixed grill, they didn't even ask how I wanted my steak cooking. I had to ask for medium... it came mega well done, chicken was mushy but edible (just). The missus and daughter loved their pie tho. Nobody came to see us during the meal to ask if everything was ok. I got up to search for sauce, to no avail. Far better places locally, especially for the price

Came to this place for the first time for lunch. Nice place but the food was a bit lacking in quality. 4 of us ate, 1 of us was entirely happy which was me who had the boneless chicken. Good selection of beers, some which I hadn't heard of but one I initially chose was out as he was puling it. Would go back.

Cool venue, great music. Food was a little cold when it arrived, and seemed to take a while (though people who ordered after us got their orders first). Also kinda heavy on the sauce. They forgot a couple of drink orders, staff seemed flustered but the venue wasn't busy at all really (maybe two other groups in the main space, and a separate event running in another room with dedicated staff). I'd go back, but maybe just for drinks and the music next time.

We had the beer school experience with Jen. A great selection of beers with cheese platter. Jen was an excellent host and really knew her stuff. We tried ales we wouldnt normally drinks and was pleasantly surprised and how they complemented the cheeses. A super way to spend a couple hours. Would highly recommend the experience. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Haven't been here in quite some time and I have to say we were thoroughly impressed. We have a non neurotypical child and I can honestly say we have never had such good service as what the hostess provided. Food was exceptionally good and the atmosphere lovely. Only noticed they were dog friendly whilst there so will definitely return with our dog in the future. Thank you for a delightful meal

shocking honestly. ordered a coke zero and explained that i have gestational (pregnancy) diabetes, and i was served regular coke, i knew this because i could taste the difference and regular coke is also sticky. i sent it back and told them the issue and they gave me a replacement - which was ANOTHER regular coke. the third time i went back and explained again that i am diabetic and keep being served regular cokes, the bartender LAUGHED and then gave me a coke zero that was actually in a labelled bottle instead of in a glass this time. after getting home, i tested my blood sugar and my blood sugar has now spiked. gestational diabetes is so potentially harmful for the mother and baby, so i am so upset and angry with the negligent staff that were working this evening as i have managed my blood sugars perfectly with in range readings until i get served a drink full of sugar after asking for the zero sugar version, this is my first high reading. also the security guard/bouncer kept smoking cigarettes near me and even blowing them in my direction in the enclosed outdoor area that has walls and a ceiling, which also has a ‘no smoking’ sign at the exit and entrance. bare in mind that there is a fully open outdoor area only a couple of feet away which you are allowed to smoke in. he could also see that i was pregnant as i noticed him stare at my stomach a few times, i’m currently eight months pregnant and have an absolutely massive bump so it cannot be missed. so all i could smell and breathe in was cigarette smoke, he watched me trying to waft it away too and just continued as he was. so with these two negligent issues by the staff, i am now worried for my baby’s wellbeing, pregnant women should be able to eat out in public without having their and their baby’s well-being’s endangered. strongly recommended to avoid this place

This is a great little pub and the food was amazing.

I took my sister in law, who is visiting from Australia, for lunch today. She was very impressed with her meal, as was I with mine. Both dishes were amazing; delicious and prepared exactly to order. The service provided by Harriet was especially outstanding, friendly, efficient and she went the extra mile to accommodate my off the menu dietary needs. I cannot praise her enough for her patience and all she did, so that I could have an enjoyable meal. Thank you Harriet - I left a happy customer.

Visited today for the first time. Gourmet food with good sized portions and excellent presentation, but very reasonable prices. Superb service and a friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly too. Will definitely go again, highly recommended.

Food was real tasty. Staff were lovely. If I had to be critical, the music was far too loud. I appreciate that we went on a Saturday evening, but the volume meant that everyone had to pretty much shout at each other.

Amazing food!! Such great quality and a good selection of different meals that you don't normally see on a pub menu. Staff very friendly, good selection of ales. Even the outside patio area was very nice and had a covered area in case the weather turned.
Will be definitely going back there

Lovely small intimate Brewdog Bar. Fantastic service from knowledgeable staff and the hotdog was superb.

What a fantastic lunch we had. Mains and a pudding AND coffee today! I had the seabass with roasted veg. Perfection. And we had the apple and rhubarb crumble and custard. Just wow! The whole meal was superb as was the service.

Me and my daughter had a lovely meal here today , my daughter had a steak and bacon baguette meal , I had the rodeo burger it was really nice , and the staff was on point .

This a hidden gem. A very nice place to hang out with your friends or even a cute date.

The only thing which bothered me was the staff, there were many servers coming to the table asking if we wanted anything else with an intention of asking us to leave and a server even came and asked us to pay the bill first. Which just put us off, and we decided not to order anymore and leave.

Overall, a good vibe and chicken dishes are just amazing 👏 😋

Entrance to restaurant is well looked after and inside appears very colourful.

During the weekend, the music might appear to be too loud for some conversation.

Popped in for lunch as we were passing. A delightful pub, very prompt service by lovely staff. Food was excellent, freshly cooked and very tasty. Well recommended.

Decent drink selection especially the spirits, staff are as friendly as can be and food is decent and fairly portioned and priced, would give 5 stars but the atmosphere within the pub and behind the bar aren’t the same as they were post Covid, although I would recommend, decent boozer with good drinks and food

Lovely place where you can order a lot of different food, listening to some good music. Prices are a little bit high, but food is soooo tasty and the staff really is friendly. They had an issue with the order app so our food came 20 minutes early, and they offered us the last 2 plates to apologize ! I would definitely recommend going there

I went in to the bar to reserve a quiet table a couple of hours before going in. I explained that I'm autistic and the staff member seemed to understand and would do his best to reserve us the right table.

My friend and I got hungry a tad earlier than expected, so we went about 20 minutes before our reservation time. We were welcomed and the booth in the bottom corner was recommended. The same staff member explained very clearly what we had to do to order. He also took the time to discuss my tastes and what option would be best for me.

The food selection isn't Fantastic with it only doing pizzas. However, it is a small brewdog and pizza is popular. We received our pizzas in a very reasonable time. It was hot and tasted fresh. Pizzas are one of the hardest things to get right for me due to my sensory aversion to textures. The pizza did exceed my expectations. The base was the best. The tomato base wasn't my thing as there was thick bits of skin in it. My friend enjoyed his pizza very much.

There were plug sockets available to use as well as free WiFi

This bar sells a very good selection of drinks, both alcoholic and soft drinks.

Due to the buildings age, this brewdog is sadly not accessible to wheelchair users, unless someone was to lift the wheelchair over the couple of steps at the front door.

The service and staff I'd give 5/5, food I'd give 4/5 and the environment I'd give 5/5.

Great food before seeing Stereo MCs next door. I had the chicken sliders and my mate the brisket tacos. Both were winners. So good I forgot to take photos. Desert was lovely too.

Was my first time out in a while. And I really enjoyed it.

Staff were excellent. Special mention to Kathryn the manager for offering to go out of her way for me.

The gig venue next door will be familiar to most as the old Arches. Great venue for gigs.

The food is so much better now than a year ago. Steak is cut thick to get the weight rather than wafer thin which makes it taste so much better. Service was slow but staff super nice. Overall a good experience and it's so good the food is good again
