Used the hotel leisure facilities. Staff were helpful and polite on arrival. Gym was clean with modern equipment that was well maintained. Pool, steam room and sauna were all clean and available to use. Changing rooms were clean and tidy. Had a very positive experience
I have been a member at this gym for almost a year and have found the staff to be polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. For me, Victoria's RPM and Sprint classes are the best spin classes I've attended over the past 15 or so years. Her energy and ability to motivate and push you beyond your comfort zone is a special quality. The music is awesome too and there's a real team vibe to her classes. No better start to the day (7am!!). I've also had the pleasure of the odd coffee with some lovely members. Keep up the great work.
Have been an off peak member for just over a year now. Love the variety of classes during the daytime for all ages & abilities.
Bridget & Victoria are amazing instructors, they have such enthusiasm, they take time to encourage members to strive harder to improve their performance & technique.
They make the classes enjoyable & I’ve learnt so much from them. I tend to go to the RPM & Trip classes which are hard work but also good fun! 🚴♀️

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place! I have been a member & worked in various gyms in Winchester & surrounding areas but this is by far the best.

The best gym I have been to by far. The equipment is great, the spa area is nice but it’s the staff and community that wins it for me. Very friendly, enthusiastic and committed. Thank you guys for always supporting us and encouraging us (gym users) to try new things and improve!

I'm a long time member and do regular classes each week but I tried a newly launched fitness class today, functional strength. The instructors, Victoria and Bridget, were very clear in their explanations of form and tempo. It was an enjoyable, challenging class and I'll be doing ot again! Thoroughly recommend this gym!
I have stayed there couple of times and it has been a positive experience. The rooms are modern, neat and clean but on a compact side. Every room has a large smart tv, tea coffee making facilities etc. the hotel has good sized gym, two lane pool , jacuzzi sauna, and a steam room. These facilities are included in the room rent. The hotel has on site car park, which was free on the weekend. The food in the grill pub was delicious. Though it was busy but food was served fairly quickly. Staff was really courteous. Overall I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend the hotel.
Great modern gym. Tracking your exercises and you can log weights and reps into the system. It also shows you how to do the exercise and at what speed, which is brilliant. I haven't seen such a modern gym, even though I was going to a few gyms in London. The pool is very nice, clean and warm. The sauna was also good. It's a pity the steam room was not working, but hopefully that will be fixed next time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Suggestion: I was missing the machine for strengthening the back (the one you recline), which is important in this age of sitting 😁

Staff good.. only issue I have it's the water from shower its very cold.... reported to reception many times but nothing happens...
Love this place, being coming here twice a week for the last couple of months and it’s my favourite. Swimming outside is great, super clean and heated to a good amount, and so lovely to see the sky and the birds.

I went here for first time today and it's really lovely. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful in explaining things and getting me started - thanks David! The pool is really great - beautiful to be able to swim and see trees. The changing facilities were small but really well designed so didn't feel squashed. The only thing that could be improved was the showers, you can't change the temperature, but that's a minor quibble given how fantastic this place is.
Lovely pool. Perfect for a sunny day. It gets busy so we prefer to come earlier. My daughter really enjoys it. Like the outdoor changing cubicles. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Good and reasonably priced snacks and drinks available from small kiosk.
Great experience. A few minor quibbles. Wish people weren't permitted to sit on the edge of the entire length of the pool in the slowest lane with their legs in the water. I need to swim in this lane as not a strong swimmer. I have to take a break at the side during a length & can't when people are sitting here (I don't want to have to come very early or late to avoid this). Also, wish staff were more proactive in checking toilet paper supplies in the ladies'. There was no toilet paper in any of the cubicles.
Lovely, clean lido! Space for bikes outside, lovely park for picnic after, Broadway food market a must-visit for after. Hour slots so it’s not a lounge-about kinda pool but there is space if you want to sit on your towel etc. shout out to the swimming costume driers in the toilets - a revelation!
My first visit and what an amazing place this is. Greeted with a warm welcome by the lady on the desk, clean and modern changing rooms inside and out, warm showers and a spotlessly clean pool in beautiful surroundings. Enough room poolside to relax for a bit if you want to as well and even though I went on a hot day when it was busy, it never felt too crowded. It also showed a true cross-section of society and was clearly being used by locals, with people of all ages, genders and races, which was super refreshing and gave a wonderful vibe. Big shout out to the staff who made my first visit so wonderful. 🥰🌟
Not going to lie to everyone on here, but this is the best outdoor swimming pool ever! Been coming here for years and the staff are always nice & approachable. The booking system is great & if your a member you can book it via the better app, just make sure to be quick to book your spot during the summer heat wave, spaces go within heart beat. The lockers are £1 via coin there are changing rooms inside & outside along side 2 showers outside. Honestly recommend coming here I always have a great swim !!!
Great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Pool is a constant depth that helps when teaching with babies. Men's changing room always clean and tidy as staff very attentive to keeping the floor clean and dry as it can be.
Hannah and her team are great, waited a while on list for a place but have never regretted it. Our little boy not only learns to swim but has FUN doing it.
St Edmunds Catholic School has the largest swimming pool 🏊 in Portsmouth. I learned swimming here during my time at St Edmunds. The pool is great for practicing swimming lanes and is suitable for swimmers of all levels. There are many swimming activities after school for students as well from recreational swimming 🏊 to water polo 🤽.
Amazing my daughter is learning to swim here the instructors are patient and in the water with the children. Can't praise the swim academy enough.
Abshellutely LOVE this place! The staff are FINcredibly accommodating, it has lovely facilities & is run by a mermaid!!!! Who could ask for more?!? xXx

Ive been taking my kids here for swimming lessons for around a year now and the place and the staff are all brilliant. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for lessons.
My two children have swam with hannah for a few years now. Great teaching, great facilities. Warm inside. Viewing area great. Kids love going. Highly recommended.
Our children LOVE coming here &.they are becoming great swimmers, confident and happy in the water. Our eldest hated the pool & despite countless lessons through school & privately, we had resigned ourselves to the fact that he wasn't to be a swimmer. After a short time at Hannah Jones Swim Academy, he now is a different boy, swims very well & loves to swim. Hannah caters for all, young and old, and it's the best thing we ever did taking our 3 children to Hannah Jones Swim Academy
Friendly and well run swimming club for all ages. Since he joined as a 9 year old our son has got so much out of being part of the Club: friendship, enjoyment and achievement.
We have found FSC to be an excellent family focused swimming club with high quality coaching for all ages and a warm friendly atmosphere with club BBQ's and other social events. Highly recommended.
Lovely swimming club with a community feel. My two children both learned to swim there in the Minnows programme back when they were 5 and both still attend and love it. My daughter swims competitively and my son will hopefully do the same when he is old enough. There is a good balance at FSC of those who love to compete and those who swim for fitness. My children and I have met some lovely people through the club too!
Great swimming club. I have 2 children who swim with the club and have both been there since they were 6 or 7. It is a smaller club so the children are all well know to the coaches which makes a massive difference to their enjoyment at training and the friendships they have formed.
Great club, both kids have been swimming with FSC for years. Great for keeping fit and for competitive swimming too!
