Carlos served with a suave and beautiful energy! Happy to boast the experience because of what he added to our evening. The artist and chef Anthony both helped direct us to the location as well as welcomed us greatly by providing delicious and unique starting dishes that our palettes enjoyed greatly!

Good food, fusion of couple of cousins.
Very positive atmosphere, great stuff, fast food arrival (much appreciated). We ordered couple of things which arrived very fast and we did order on top. Platan chips is amazing!
We just had a quick menu before we left for the airport, but it was nevertheless a delicious & nice experience. The waiter supported our choice and we received a variety of sushi as expected. It tasted fresh and delicious but our favorite was the desert. The banana bread & ice cream was a positive & sweet surprise - the perfect ending for our long weekend in London! Thank you & we will definitely return!
Fun, vibrant place for dinner with friends.
I really enjoying this restaurant. Firstly, great location and atmosphere time after time. All the food is delicious. I asked for recommendations and we went with all of them, none disappointed. The sushi is divine, lovely fresh side vegetables and the meats (ribs, lamb chops, grill) excellent. Surprisingly something for everyone.
Food wasn’t great especially the beef tataki and when I mentioned that i didn’t like it the staff said there is nothing that we can do about it
Atmosphere and ambiance is good but the food is below average not recommended

The crispy duck was very salty. Food average. The computer games at the table were excellent in keeping my grandsons entertained. They enjoyed the sushi as well

The staff and service were fantastic and friendly, as you'd expect from somewhere like this. Foodwise, the sushi was great but somewhat on the safe side with the flavours, and the ribs were surprisingly small. I really enjoyed the sides. The atmosphere of the restaurant was busy and warm, and we enjoyed a few well made cocktails too. Great for a date night, though the food was slightly below the standard I was expecting.

Chotto offers a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. While the food leans towards the commercial side without reaching exceptional heights, it satisfies. The service, however, stands out positively, earning the restaurant a solid 4-star rating.

Visited this modern-style restaurant for lunch, and the touch table was an interesting addition – great for some interactive fun with friends. However, when the food arrived, it became a bit of an eat-or-play situation due to limited space.

Opted for the unlimited sushi menu, but it was a bit disappointing. The choices were quite limited compared to other places I've been with similar buffets. The taste was average, nothing particularly special. If you're looking for variety, this might not be the best choice.

The staff were friendly and attentive, but the management could use some improvement. The timing of food delivery was inconsistent, making it confusing to know if an order had been forgotten. Additionally, during our last round, we were informed we had to vacate the table, but the food took a while to arrive. When it did, we were asked to leave within 10 minutes, creating a rushed and less-than-ideal dining experience.

Visited this place second time, loved the food and service this time as well. Would’ve given 5 stars if the prices would’ve stayed same. But I’ll visit again, as the quality and taste is worth the price.

Really lovely food. Rice was perfect and everything tasted great. Quick and friendly service too!! Will be going back.
We've been wanting to go to inamo for a couple of years but hadn't had a chance. Long story short we ended up with a voucher for the bottomless tapas and sushi. Wellll...... It has horrid.

Food didn't taste fresh, best item on the menu was the chips. Menu was so limited. You can very much tell the chicken dishes are essentially chicken balls coated in different sauces for each dish. Oh and they are kinda soggy like they've been sitting in the sauce. The only thing I can compare this to is food at a low grade buffet. ahhh nearly forgot...the Sashimi was so slimy - clearly really old or poor quality salmon. The sauces that accompany some of the dishes had clearly been sitting the their pots for a while. I hung one upside down and it didn't move (vid included).

Table was clear but screen loads funny, if you're into tech this won't impress you.

On there website they list it as being worth £90 but discount it to £35. In all honestly I don't think it's worth that. On top of that they then want service charge, I usually always opt to pay it but I just couldn't justify this trip. Staff just dropped food off and walked away, they didn't even say what each item was.
Sushi Samba is one of my favourite places to eat. I have been countless times and the food is always great. They really deliver what they say!

I took my boyfriend for the first time and he loved everything. The Samba salad and Neo Tokyo (Spicy tuna) sushi roll were my favourite this time.

Music was great which gets you in the mood and as always, every table was taken.

The runners delivering the food explained every dish and our waiter was friendly. I work in hospitality myself, so maybe I’m looking for what kind of service I give. I wish our waiter just interacted a bit more. I just didn’t feel he created any relationship with us. (This is just what I would have liked) I felt he just showed up to take the order, checked back on our food once we were finished and cleared our plates. I’m not saying it was terrible service, I just needed that little bit more I would give to my tables.

Highly recommend!

Pretty decent grab and go sushi, rice bowl and even ramen options. A good option for a quick meals but I did find that it was slightly overpriced for what it was, service was warm and welcoming.

Enjoyed the sushi and the other Japanese flavours. The Argentinian flavoured dishes were slightly disappointing (tasted smoky and that was about it). Some of the food, such as steak and chicken dishes, came out lukewarm in temperature which was surprising given each dish is supposedly freshly cooked.

Very unique dining experience with exceptional food. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

I wish the space between tables would be a bit bigger, it gets a bit crowded when full.
Really amazing food, I opted for the £25 set menu which was delicious, could not fault the food or service. Very quiet restaurant so did feel a little bad for other dinners as our group was not the quietest, so if you are a loud bunch bear this in mind. Already recommended this place to my friends and family. Great place for small groups or date night.

The seating area is large upstairs with great views over Covent Garden. Carlos was a kind server and helped us navigate the menu explaining what was halal and ensured none of our food had acolohol. It was disappointing that three dishes we ordered were not available, only be told after suggesting an alternative. Strange that such a high end restaurant would not have food for service at lunch. Having said that, the Tom yam virgin cocktail was delightful, the spicy tuna roll was awesome and the fried aubergine was so light and crispy. All in all, I don’t think I would come back but was nice to try.
Looking for a place for a drink after work, they were very busy, but Richard found us a space and took care of us. The drinks came quickly and we're delicious! There is a really good vibe about the place, and even on a Thursday evening it was buzzing. Great location and great setting!

I took my housemate here as a Xmas gift, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the expectations.
Except for the California roll - quite underwhelming - the food was excellent, especially the anticuchos with black cod and pork belly.
The issue was the service. Our waitress took our order in the beginning then completely disappeared. No check back, no second drinks offered. We had to stop 3 different people.
When we didn’t received our second drink and wanted to cancel it, she then came to the table; we had already finished our dinner and had to leave. Drinks were left on the bill after saying she would talk to the manager.
For the price you pay, you would expect a better attention to the patrons

I used to like Nudo when it first opened but nowadays they keep the sushi far too long before taking it off. Bought 3 different boxes with short date and the rice was hard for all of them. Happened more than once hence the score. Not worth the money. Really disappointed

Chicken Katsu curry and chicken teriyaki. …Food was delivered on time , was still hot and portions were very generous. The chicken was delicious .
Hygiene was excellent. Well done Soya , We will be back !
Visited here with 5 friends.
Researched in advance and pre-ordered the Unlimited Tapas and sushi package, it was on our reservation (we emailed in advance). When we arrived we also told them and they showed us how to order the unlimited tapas on the table.
At payment stage it came to over £300. This included at least 3 dishes that never arrived. And the surcharge was done on every dish we ordered within the unlimited tapas which was paid in advance. The surcharge was £75! Like I have mentioned, some dishes never arrived. We also asked for help on several occasions during our visit (there is an option on the table) and no one came.
We did speak to one person and asked if the house wine was free as it came up as £0.00 under the unlimited category, he said he is very new and didn't know, my partner asked if he could find out, the guy looked frightened and never returned.

Our group were split over 2 tables, one of the tables went blue screen for a good 10 minutes or so.

The food itself was good and there was a big variety which included vegetarian and vegan.
We do think it was overpriced, for example 4 chicken karrage for £12.50.

The interactive tables were good for certain parts however they don't 100% work, there were a lot of sections that didn't work. The screens are very bright in the menu section and when the food arrives it is very difficult to see what you are eating, if you don't catch what the staff say then it is also difficult to know what food is arriving as the staff don't speak very loudly.

Also due to the lighting, staff kept knocking in to our chairs when working past, standing on my partner's hoodie etc.

With unlimited we went in with the thought of trying dishes we don't normally try, I tried some of the Singapore noodles and wasn't keen on the sauce, I offered it to my friends and did feel bad that I had wasted some food, when the staff took our dishes away we were questioned why we had left it, just felt a bit awkward and I explained that I had tried it and that it wasn't too my taste and he didn't say anything or smile.

Just be careful of the surcharge even if you have a voucher, we chose not to pay it and instead tipped what we wanted.
Nice experience, where the chefs prepare the food in front of you. The taste of the food is great, and the service is superb. The eating area hasn't had any upgrade in a long time it seems, and even though the sign in the entrance clearly states "only good food", I think it would have lifted the whole experience a bit. All in all recommended.

I have been coming here for years now, every time I come newcastle I will go as a little treat. The food is always fresh and extremely flavourful. The staff are extremely attentive yet not intrusive. The location is slightly hidden off the beat and track, but it is close to all possible amenities and is not difficult to find. The restaurant is always full, and wait times to get in are low.

The steak, duck and chicken are so so dry, lack of flavour and tough. The food quality doesn’t worth the price at all. The chef leave the duck on the iron plate for wayyyy too long. He barely seasoned the food, instead he added loads of butter to it. I have no idea what I was eating. It costs me over £100 for this . All I can say is I wouldn’t eat it even it were free. Save your money for another restaurant.

We ordered a takeaway and after 1.5 hours of waiting (during which the estimated delivery time had long been and gone!), we called to see where it was. They initial denied even taking the order but eventually admitted that they had the order, but hadn't even started cooking it yet. They offered to "start it right away". Just ridiculous. We won't be eating here or ordering from here again.

This is a great restaurant with table interactive digital table for games and ordering food. I had the bottomless brunch option with unlimited food and alcoholic drinks for 90 minutes. I have been here twice before and am always happy with the quality and value. However the food menu now has premium items which you’d have to pay an extra £2-£4 to order which is a bit cheeky as everything should be included in the brunch priced. Only paid £29.95 plus service so was an amazing deal and worth the visit! Highly recommend.

The food is descent, particularly the sushi, but the place could use some renovations, especially the restroom which has shown signs of wear since its opening a few years ago. It's worth a visit after 7 p.m. when they slash prices by half.

Great food and service. Even though we are in our seventies we enjoyed playing the games. Food was very quick to arrive. I suggest you order just one or two dishes at a time. The instant we pressed the button for assistance a member of staff came. Would recommend this as a pre-theatre dinner as it is an 8 min walk to the Apollo Theatre to see The Time Travellers Wife as we did.
I recently visited this Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurant and my experience was rather disappointing. The food served was quite average, lacking the authentic flavors I expected from a Japanese cuisine establishment. Additionally, the variety of dishes offered was surprisingly limited, leaving much to be desired in terms of choices.

One major issue we encountered was the lack of information provided about the inclusive drinks. No one informed us about the availability of sparkling wine, which was supposedly part of the package.

Furthermore, the facilities were in poor condition, reflecting a lack of maintenance and attention to cleanliness. This aspect greatly affected our overall impression of the restaurant. A comfortable and pleasant environment is essential for enjoying a meal, and unfortunately, this was lacking during our visit.

The only thing we liked was the ordering system. Every table has a screen where you can select the food you would like to order.

In summary, while the concept of an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant is appealing, this particular establishment fell short in several key areas. From the mediocre food and limited variety to the missing information about inclusive drinks and the poor condition of the facilities, my dining experience was not enjoyable.

My first review in a while and I am so excited to be writing about my experience at Samsi Manchester.

My friend and I came here for our girls weekend brunch and it was better than our expectations too!!

Alright so we had one of the 10 piece platters- Sushi, Sashimi, Norimaki 🍣 to start with alongside a warmed bottle of sake 🍶 ☺️to share of course! We could taste the freshness of the sushi and cravings were happily satisfied.

From the main menu we decided to go down the path of Donburi! As we had both been craving this particular dish for the longest time. Choosing the Katsudon and Unadon which tasted 10/10… alongside stir fryed udon( s/o to the chef for making this variation for us ❤️) just amazing also came with miso soup which we had after the meal.

Of course!!Dessert, cheesecake(New York cheesecake on the menu)at a Japanese restaurant umm? Yes please!!! Also 10/10

Overall, beautiful interior- it really takes you to another world intimately and having the chance to enjoy authentic Japanese in all its entity. One of my best food memories for sure.

Be sure to check them out, perfect settings for date nights, weekend brunch! They also offer large bookings for celebrations as well!!

I 100% recommend Samsi, and will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. The customer service was also 10/10 which is really important!

Also if you live around the area, you can place an order for your slice of authentic Japanese and have it delivered too!! Convenient, perfect for homeboys and takeaway evenings 💗

We were gifted the bottomless sushi as a Christmas present. I did read the reviews before we went and so was already expecting to be disappointed and very much was. The restaurant is very dark. The staff member showed us to our table and explained how the screens worked. She then left us to it and when I say that I wanted to smash the screen through frustration...!!! I could not scroll down to the bottom of the menu without accidentally opening up a food item. The bottomless menu is quite limited. We ordered 6 dishes as suggested. I wanted a tap water which wasn't on the menu so used the 'call service' button twice but nobody came. Eventually I managed to call someone over but that defeats the point of the feature. Once your food has arrived, you have to push all the plates out of the way in order to use the screens again. We tried playing ping pong but the lag was too delayed so that was pointless. As it was a paid for gift and the restaurant had the voucher code, we got up to leave at which point the waiter said there is usually a service charge..... What service?!

Quality of food was below average, we enjoyed the Szechuan chicken but that was pretty much it. Was most looking forward to the pork belly but that was 'unavailable'.

*food has been eaten, this is not how they looked when they arrived!!*

Had the afternoon tea option. Prebooked this with a voucher. The food was fast, and the bang bang cauliflower was really good. Would have been helpful to run through what was what. Mint tea was just hot water, which considering was the drink option with the afternoon tea it was poor. The rest of the food was a bit average. The puddings were nice again. I had no idea what was what, staff not about to explain. Table was fun while waiting.

I went here last month just before my train as it’s close to Picadilly Station and had a suitcase, the hostess took it for me to store during my meal which was so so thoughtful! The food came quickly and tasted delicious - I also tried some of the chicken yakisoba noodles and they were amazing. The customer service was absolutely lovely and the portion sizes were good :)

The actual restaurant itself was so pretty and clean, I cannot stress enough how much I recommend Samsi for a meal

The food quality varied especially given the small portion sizes and price point. Between the three of us, we shared the Nikkei gyoza (good), yellowtail sashimi and tuna tataki (both ok), dragon roll, soft shell crab roll (both full of flavour), the pulpo (very salty and the flavour didn't work) and the Japanese soufflé cheesecake (not a standout). The cocktail I had (yuzu martini) was very good. The food was initially slow to arrive but overall our waiter was very friendly.

Went there tonight at around 6.30 after spending the day in Ma Chester with my 9 yr old boy. Ordered a ramen soup with pork DN tempur prawns. The lady brought to me a non cooked soups ugly as hell with uncooked prawns with the tempura mixtures still floating on the dish. So disgusting. When took the dish back she told me this was the way she was tought to cook it in a air fryer... SERIOUSLY??? It costs £15 for a plate of uncooked food and dirty water? Disgusting. I asked for the money back and she told me I should receive it in about two days???? Awful service ...better I get my money back...please do not go there

There was a mix up on the order. Got delivered somewhere else. The restaurant staff were very kind and re-made the order and shipped it out to us in under 20 minutes.
The sushi was very nice as well. Will be ordering again!
Excellent Spanish-Japanese fusion! We thoroughly enjoyed all their dishes.

✨ Highlights & would recommend:
- Black cod miso (classic!)
- Padron peppers (amazing miso glaze)
- Sea bass ceviche
- Yellowtail sashimi
- Salted caramel chocolate fondant (must try)

Also good but nothing spectacular:
- Ribeye steak
- Purple potato mash

Overall great atmosphere & its a good place to “wow” a guest visiting London. Excellent for couples and can cater larger groups too!

It is slightly on the pricier side & if you don’t mind slow service.

Unbelievably disgusting.
Ordered through Uber Eats, spent £45 on 2 Ramens and a tray of veggie sushi and every single item is bland and tasteless. The noodles are that overcooked they are mush, the broth is basically just water, you get 1 piece of pak choi with the ramen and no other veg, the meat is sour and smells off and the sushi looks like it was prepared last week. Do not waste your money here. (I added the sesame seeds and other oils to try and make the food taste of something!!!)

I've seen better sushi in a petrol station

I've just been through and read the majority of the bad reviews and the replies from the management team are absolutely appalling, you can learn a lot about a venue by how the staff speak to customers, I'm really glad I didn't dine in.

Edit: I received a full refund from Uber Eats

Edit 2: I knew I would get a pathetic excuse from the staff. Travelling makes food loose it's taste 🤣🤣 I've never heard such nonsense. I've had better, more flavourful ramen/pho from further away and where the noodles remained intact and not the consistency of kitchen sink drain pasta.

I had read some reviews with some reviews which had low ratings recently and whilst it was ominous, we were still hoping for the best despite this. Unfortunately, the negative reviews were accurate in their concerns and the whole experience was extremely disappointing.

Food: Disappointing is the best way I can summarise it all as it wasn't great. For a sushi and tapas all you can eat, we were hoping that we could've had more of a selection as on the whole we felt that it was rather limited even though we did try most of it. The best thing on the menu were salmon, the beef and the fried chicken but they were still just okay at best.

Service: The first waiter that we had was really nice, courteous and patient with us as he explained the menu.

However, we also had one instance with a waitress who was extremely rude to us which entirely mired the experience as well as didn't make an effort to tell us when to leave, and tried to kick us out. They also didn't communicate clearly with us that we were near the end of our service and it unfortunately left a strong impression on me and my friend who filed a complaint to the manager.

Fortunately, what salvaged this situation a little was the manager who we felt handled things well so I appreciated the manager and the first male waiter as stated in the first paragraph as they both were helpful, courteous and understanding.

Atmosphere: Unfortunately, for a Friday night this was also extremely muted as well. Perhaps it was because we were sitting on the bottom floor, but it was just us and one other family when we were there. It's a shame, because this venue could've been absolutely electric.

We were hoping that we could've had a wonderful experience with the games provided and the all you can eat but this place unfortunately did not deliver that.

What a terrible place to go to.
The gimmick of interactive tables wears off quickly . The games are laggy, the table probably hardly ever cleaned is a sticky mess.
The food uninspiring and the sushi quality is quite low. The sushi and tapas set menu is a complete failure with very little variety .
That was the good part, then we come to the service - wow ! That was terrible. Never ever in my years of dining have I seen service this bad. Absolutely no personable staff. Just dump on to the table and walk away. One staff in particular, Sameeya who we had to specifically complain about was atrocious. We were made aware that she was new, however with that attitude I can't see how she got the job. She blatantly lied to our faces and then stormed off a few times swearing and muttering. The manager in charge waived the service charge, however I'd rather she have fired the lady on the spot.
Sorry, not one I would be returning to ever again.

I enjoyed the food and theatrical experience of the preparation. It was nice to see the main cooked fresh, and nice they cooked my vegetarian main before the meat went on. It was tasty, but not amazing food. The service was attentive, and live cooking and chef kept us entertained. Expect to share a table if you are a smaller group of less than 6-7 people.

Totally regret coming here considering all the options around. The food was.horrible i should have gone next door to tesco and got their healthier, tatsier and far cheaper salmon poke bowl. Honestly the food I just had (salmon rice bowl) was disgusting. Hard salmon and hard rice and also got charged for soy sauce and ginger despite sitting in. What supposedly japanese restaurants charge you for soy and ginger?? Don't waste your time trust me.

Had the best quality sushi ever!! You get to order from the table which is a tablet and it sends the order through to the staff, the tablet on the table also had a variety of fun things to do such as games. Service was high tech and interesting.
Visited as part of a celebration for mum's birthday. It just happened to be Newcastle Restaurant week also. Booked a table for lunch they do also accept walk ins.

Would give 0 stars if I could. A friend gifted me a voucher for unlimited sushi and tapas.. if you know anything about sushi or enjoy eating it DO NOT COME HERE. The most inauthentic Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The screens on the table which you order your food from do not work half the time. The menu available has barely any sushi on it! We only eat halal or fish and there was hardly any sushi with fish available. Sushi rolls were mostly rice with barely any tuna or Salmon in them and had no taste. Crispy salmon skin sushi was so stale and dry, inedible. Vegetarian dishes lacked flavour. Bang bang cauliflower is deep fried and then coated in shop bought sweet chilli sauce. Even the fries and prawn crackers were dead! Don’t know how this place is surviving really. Would not recommend to my worst enemy
Food was delicious, and great value for money. Unfortunately there was a fly in one of our dishes. The severs rectified this for us. Was very good.

I love the teppanyaki Chinatown. The food is so nice and the staff are very polite and helpful. It's not big on some of the gimmicks like most teppanyaki places, like catching food in your mouth etc but no need for that, the food does the talking here. We usually get the emperor set meal which starts with a lovely soup followed by some sushi and a beautiful fish cake then comes the fillet of beef and duck along with scallops and king prawns which are my favourite, and the egg fried rice is so good. Im getting hungry just thinking about it. Thoroughly enjoy every time I go. I would highly recommend Teppanyaki chinatown 👍

Good food, not as good service and atmosphere as other Kokoro restaurants. Lots of Deliveroo drivers dumping their bag on my table, not nice.
Attentive and polite service. Food was good. Staff was efficient. Nice restaurant decor. Lots of vegetarian options. The plum wine was quite good too. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Came here with the groupon deal and was not disappointed with the buffet. You order the food on the interactive tables and the food comes fairly quickly. The food was all delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful, was not too busy visiting in a weekday either.

There were some issues with the interactive tables as they are not very responsive and prone to double clicking meaning you have to go back and scroll through the menu and start again but it’s a nice concept, tablets probably would be more useful as it’s hard to order with the plates scattered all over the table.

The service was great. The gentleman who served us was very sweet and friendly. Food great as always. And I love the flexibility of what and how you order. You don't have to have rice or noodles.
I have been here a couple of times and am always impressed with the food. I am a vegetarian so I always look forward to going to a place where I can get ramen. I ordered the tofu and mushrooms ramen with avocado sushi. The bobas

I've been coming here since 2017 before visiting Japan. I wanted to experience Japanese food before visiting the country. We did some research and found this restaurant in Manchester about 35 miles away from us. I just can't say enough about the staff. Ever since our first visit they've been so kind and friendly. Were on first name terms and they often ask how we're doing when we post on Facebook. The service is the best I've enjoyed in Manchester. The food is authentic to the Japanese recipe and having visited Tokyo, the Tonkotsu Pork Ramen always makes me think of Japan. It tastes exactly as it should and authentic. The quality of the food is incredibly high as if the standard of the restaurant in general. I've never had a complaint in six years and I've have so many good memories. My little boy loves every visit and he's made friends with so many people here. I don't often eat out, especially with the cost of living going up. But when I can, I'll happy make the trip to come back, no questions asked. Especially when it's your birthday and they remembered and surprise you with a nice iced cream! ❤️❤️

A pretty decent food experience, not the most faithful of Japanese food but it was tasty never the less, somethings on the menu that were a big surprise, a welcome one.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, every interaction was met with smiles and as much help as could be provided.

The service was fast but it didn't impact the quality of the food, portion size Vs price was a little off, you are paying extra for it being Japanese food and the rolls themselves look small for the amount paid, this doesn't take away from the fact that it was tasty though.

If you haven't had any or had very little Japanese food, this place is ideal as it's a good entry point.

You place your order through the interactive, digital menu which is on the table. You can also use it to create digital drawings. It is a very funky idea. The food was delicious and the portions were a good size.

I would say, definitely visit if you’re looking for unlimited Japanese style cuisine and beer and for the interactive menu experience. However, it is not a place I’d visit twice as I don’t feel like it was worth the price. Especially because some of the food items had an added cost.

I ate here a few days ago, with the person saying it’s salty and the bad customer service etc is absolutely outrageous! I thought the food was well made and made with care, the staff were friendly and I understand the food may not be some people’s liking but that’s just your preference and it doesn’t need to be turned negatively. Brilliant experience for me!

Very disappointed with this Kokoro Woking brach. Went there with my wife, brother and sister inlaw few minutes ago and ordered 3 large chicken katsu curry and the 4th order was a noodle with sweet and sour chicken. First few bites on the chicken katsu curry, you’ll notice immediately that it’s very salty specifically the curry sauce. The 3 of us at first didn’t made any comment but after a minute or two, we started asking each other about the high salt level of the chicken katsu curry. I immediately approached one of the members of staff and told her if we can have it replaced because we cannot barely eat it anymore due to it’s high salty level. She went inside and spoke to her manager. Manager came out and said that she will call their office, few minutes later she went back to us and said that they don’t offer a refund, I said to her that we’re not asking for a refund but to just replace the 3 large chicken katsu curry with a different dish. She replied they don’t do that and just told me to complain to their website or online. The chef came out and spoke to us that there’s no one complaining about there chicken katsu curry that is very salty and even saying to me that all branches of kokoro are the same. I told her that it’s not all the same specially if I will compare the Camberley branch that their curry sauce is not as salty and the Farnborough branch that their noodles don’t have onions, so every branch is a bit different. She just ignored my comment and just told me to make a complaint online. In the end we just ask for the lid cover of our bowl to take home and make a remedy to reduce its saltiness. My wife ask for a plastic bag to take home the 3 large chicken katsu curry and the lady even charge us 10p for the bag. Very disappointed how the staff handled our complaint. I’m a fan of kokoro and been in different branches but this Woking branch is out of my list now.

Soya Woking
Overall 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We visited there last week during Easter Holiday. Not very busy when we arrived here so you don’t need to book the table if you want to have dinner in there.

We order:
Superior Platter 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Including:8 Pcs sashimi, 8 pcs nigiri, tobiko gunkan, 8 pcs tuna & avocado rolls; Served with miso soup. And they gave us one extra miso soup for us which is very welcome and very friendly! The whole thing is very delicious and very filling. And the price is amazing and worth to pay. All sashimis are great and taste fresh.

Kimchi pancake 🌟🌟
A little bit too dry and some of the pancakes are a bit burnt in another side.

Korean Spicy Crispy Squid 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Spicy crispy Squid is my all time favourite! 🤪 and it taste really good! You can see they look golden colour which is very perfect 😍 they put some chilli power on top so it wasn’t very spicy but you will like it. They also provide some salt with chilli powder mixed together and it is really good with the squid.

Beef Dolsot Bibimbap 🌟🌟🌟
It taste nice but not many beef inside there and I barely can’t taste it. They mixed it with the spicy sauce which is if you don’t want it you can just skip it but I recommend you to add on some cause it tastes good and won’t be too spicy. And you can see they mixed with some onions, garlic & vegetables and egg also. Overall is pretty good.

All together cost nearly £60 which is pretty acceptable price. It is not easy to find a good quality of Japanese food in UK so I am very lucky that I found it! Will definitely come visit again and highly recommended for everyone who loves Japanese cuisine!!!

We had a very tasty dinner here and would recommend if you’re looking for a yummy pan asian spot in Newcastle (although there seems to be plenty!). Their menu is extensive with sushi, rice dishes and noodles so plenty of choice for everyone! We went for the prawn and tofu spicy ramen and the crispy duck noodles. Both delicious and enjoyed with a fragrant bottle of wine (reasonably priced at £18). Only flaw was it closed at 9pm so make sure you book 7:30 at the latest.

Really delicious food, the sweet & sour chicken is my favourite. The chicken is always so succulent, and the sauce is so tasty! The sushi is also amazingly good - everything always tastes so fresh here.
It's takeaway but there's a few seats if you can't wait to eat, good for watching the world go by in Woking.

Delicious healthy and authentic food. With good portion sizes. A little heavy on the rice with the teriyaki dishes, perhaps
more veg and meat/fish. However, the selection available is top notch.

Delicious local japanese. The food was fresh and super tasty. The service could have been better if the attendants were more friendly. It overall it was a positive experience. My partner had marinated pork belly and I had sushi and gyoza.

Amazing food, until I got food poisoning.

The food from Sokury was always very tasty and had a wide selection and variety. However, my partner and I decided to both get prawn katsu curries from here. The prawns for mine were all taken from the till, whilst the majority of my partners were taken from the kitchen. Later that evening, my partner complained of stomach pains, however felt better soon after. I, at first, felt fine. However I then spent the majority of that night and the following 2 days vomiting and bedbound.

It was such a shame as we have purchased takeaways from Sokury in the past and they were always very good. However we won't be ordering from here again becuase of this experience.

I had lunch there with my 6year old today, he'd wanted to try sushi. The staff member helpfully suggested a good dish for him to try and had put the spicy wasabi on the side. The food was a massive hit with my son, he loved it and ate it all. I had the vegetarian option - sweet potato katsu and it was delicious! We'll definitely go there again

We have ordered from here a couple of times now, we'd usually order a Chinese on a Thursday or Friday night.
I have been converted Japanese food is so much better, far less greasy and just in general nicer.
The food has been stunning from sokury.

Authentic Japanese cuisine in the centre of a bustling Welsh market; What a treat!!
I have wanted to visits Little Tokyo for a while and I was not disappointed!

Fantastic menu filled with a variety of traditional Japanese dishes.
My partner and I tried the Chicken Kare Age Curry and the Pork Katsu Ramen. Both were delicious and well presented.

Prices were good and the sushi looked incredible on the table next to us.
Next time we will be back only for sushi!

Sweet little place inside Swansea market. Often ran by only the owner himself, the quality and service is amazing. The owner puts so much care into his food and it shows in the presentation and the taste. Good price for food too, sushi is normally quite pricey, but it is sold here at a fair price, and again, amazing quality. One of my all time favourite food places, by far.

My 2nd visit in few years time 🤐
Have to admit that lots of things change globally since my First experience with Little Tokyo.
Previously I have been totally in love of delicious Chicken Katsu 🍛 in very reasonable prices.
This time had a chance to taste Udon 🍜🍥 soup and... Well it wasn't so bad, actually quite tasty but a bit poor in amount of ingredients. Well prices are still low because for a bowl we gonna be charged £10 but tbh with you if I would have to give few pounds more to get properly nutritious soup I will probably go for that.
No matter what if you have a 'little hunger' it still much better to get something from this stall than go for nearby fast food factories 👍
