This was the most expensive haircut I've ever had. 100£ for a haircut . Even at the best salons in Switzerland, I've never paid this much. The stylist spent 24 minutes washing my hair, 10 minutes cutting it, and another 15 minutes straightening it, all for a simple haircut. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this place again.
I want to express my gratitude to Ellie. Ellie has been my hairdresser for the last 2 years. Ellie was kind of enough to take me on as a client and since then. I’ve never gone anywhere else.

Ruined my hair. Came in for a full head of highlights as always been light blonde and came out with dark grey muddy hair and where the toner lifted my root that turned a glowing orange. I paid £410 for the privilege!! If I could give zero stars I would

Just came back from the hairdressers and I am so happy! I didn’t catch the ladies name (Emma) but she was friendly efficient professional and cut my hair just how I wanted it. Probably the best haircut I’ve ever had yet! Thank you so much and I’d love to come again at the end of the year 🙂

I had my hair cut today by Francesca. She did an incredible job! This was my first time getting a haircut in 10 months. I wanted a short cut with layers. She gave me exactly what I wanted and I love it! Highly recommend this salon and Francesca!

I popped into this salon a few months back as I was trying to find a place get a balayage done to my hair and this was local. The stylist with blonde hair (definitely Elena) just saw her picture on the website, was very rude. I asked what the price range was like as I haven’t done a balayage before and wanted to know how much it would cost me and she responded in a very standoffish manner ‘if varies on length and thickness’ then turned her back on me. I left the shop and will never step foot in there again. I was genuinely wanting to know more as I’ve never had my hair coloured. They need to learn to provide basic customer service by saying; you would need a consultation, would you like me to book you in?

I’ve been coming to Taylor Taylor Shoreditch for a while now and always leave feeling a million dollars, the atmosphere and hospitality (as well as service) is always top tier. I usually get my hair done with Rebecca and she always always brings my vision to life and is so patient and understanding, and not to mention will always give me advice on what is least damaging etc . Couldn’t recommend her enough !!
I recently visited this salon to get my roots colored, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Michelle did an excellent job of matching the new color to my existing hair, resulting in a seamless and natural-looking blend. Lisa (my regular hairdresser) squeezed me into her busy schedule and did a truly amazing job at cutting and restyling my hair to disguise a radiotherapy bald patch. I had been feeling a bit miserable about it but an hour with Lisa put the bounce back into my step - and hair.

I went in for a full head balayage with Michaela - amazing service from start to finish. I've got quite dark, curly hair and wanted to lighten it up. The colour Michaela applied came out beautifully and my hair felt very nourished. The blow-dry finish looked beautiful. Thanks to all the team - highly recommend for colour services!

Having been with my hairdressers in London for over 25 years and now living in Wickford for 4 years. I decided to try here for my future hairdresser I got my haircut from Jane. She was very friendly and made me feel relaxed. She worked with me throughout and gave me my haircut I liked. Thank you Jane. Will definitely be coming back
Hannah was amazing! I finally found “my” hairdresser after trialling and testing several hairdressers in the area! Hannah asked me lots of questions to understand what I like and listened attentively, she suggested different options which we discussed, I chose what I wanted and she delivered the result exactly as expected! Hannah is not only a great professional but a lovely person as well - being in the salon for a few hours can be so boring but I felt I was talking to a friend so time passed by pretty quickly. There were 2 other lovely hairdressers which were busy as well, but it was so nice to see that when they were available they were all helping each other, nice teamwork and culture in the salon. I’m very happy with my hair and the overall experience (and I loved the coffee too hahaha), will be coming back again! :)

Have been there since I moved into this area four years ago. Normally it is very difficult to get a local hair salon which can cut and style the hair fit for an asian head shape. But Dastan manage to do it well with a very professional and efficient team! Loraine did my cut most of the time and I absolutely love it :) She is always very attentive, kind, funny with really good energy level! They are really a very good hair salon for the community and everyone works there just look so happy, like a big happy family. Enjoy going there and their coffee is very strong too:)!
Fatima is an absolute gem. She Keratins my hair every 3-4 months making my crazy frizzy hair look sleek and straight! Her haircuts are also fantastic. I genuinely recommend Dastan hair salon to all my girl friends as they’re always commenting on my hair and tell them to book with Fatima!!

Elena was wonderful! I’m not from the area but needed a fringe trim, she was able to fit me in quickly. She made me feel like I was one of her regulars. We were able to come up with a plan, she treated me with kindness and was very thoughtful in her service she provided. Fringe turned out great! Would definitely recommend !

I absolutely love getting eyelash extensions with Violetta at Jon Hala. The quality of the lashes and the professionalism are outstanding and I always get compliments when I have them done. Violetta discusses the look I want and makes sure I am comfortable throughout the appointment. Incredible. This is the only place I have ever been happy with every haircut I've had, and them lasting ages (growing out evenly). I am growing my hair out so I decided to start using hairdressers instead as my friend recommended to use instead of barbers. I have left very few reviews ever but this by far deserves the most, the pricing as-well is extremely competitive (to barbers) for mens hair cuts, and the extra features, free drink and a great hair wash by Shannon (the best hair wash ever) is amazing. For any guy growing their hair out I 10000000000000% recommend coming here. I am slowly convincing my friends to come here swell instead of the barbers hahaha. Also everyone is so friendly and have great chats, especially Shannon. BIG UP VALERIE FRENCH.
Amazing service with friendly staff . I booked today because my hair was feeling dull and it was hard to get a brush through the ends. They used an amazing loreal mask treatment and cut my hair which made a huge improvement. So shinny and fresh. THANK YOU ⭐️

I made an appointment a few months in advance to the date I needed to have my hair styled for a wedding. Nearer the time I tried to call and the phone number was not in use. When I got there they said I had not been booked in and then could not fit me in. I had booked this prior and was very disappointed. I may have known this sooner if their telephone line was working.

I visited Hala Salon last week to book an appointment for a hair dying and haircut after seeing the reviews on the Internet. I felt confident to do my hair there and paid a deposit.
I went yesterday for my appointment and I showed her the exact colour that I wanted and we agreed when I booked the appointment.
After she washed my hair, I was shocked by the result. And she sent me to cut my hair and blow dry by another stylist.
I refused to cut my hair unless they fix my hair colour, and the answer was I don't have time for you. Wasn't expected from a high-standard stylist.
The colour was different from what I chose, and my hair was damaged and ruined.
When I expressed my frustration to John Hala he was very rude and he kept saying he doesn't care about the review or the money and it's hard to please everyone and if you want to leave just wrap your hair and leave.
I had to leave with wet hair rather than spend more time with a disgusting attitude.
I went to the next-door salon to fix my hair.
When they saw my hair was a mess and they offered to help me without even an arrangement.
Please take my advice and don't waste your time and destroy your hair. Don't be fooled by the reviews

I've been to Danielle so many times over the years & have never had one complaint! Every time I walk out I feel absolutely stunning & always get compliments on both hair & makeup. Will never ever go anywhere else & send absolutely everyone her way ❤️

I wish I had read the bad reviews before letting Ron touch my hair because it would have saved me £200 for relaxing it. In my experience he’s all talk, does hair using unique methods so you think he knows what he’s doing and more so. I left my hair relaxing appointment with curly hair… so now I have to relax my hair again and he had the audacity to think I’d come back to him

Honestly that’s a joke… was desperate to have a haircut, popped to this one. The shop was locked but Ron came to open the door and said it was opened.
I didn’t realize straight away but the salon was super messy like he’s been closed for weeks. Parcels and mess everywhere, the bin in a hole in the floor supposedly “to hide a hole”, Stuff not tidied around. No music, no light. Made me wash my hand with a cheap washing up liquid.
At this point I don’t know why I stayed but you know I’m polite and I didn’t feel like saying “ actually not sure” about this haircut as Rom seemed alright.
Sat there, he had the weirdest technique ever. On dry hair (which is fine some hairstylists do it) but with his hand flat on my hair and forehead (for the fringe) & all around my neck to get it done “sharp”.
He didn’t bother washing my hair at anytime, even to double check he’s technique was doing good. He was asking question about me but then cutting off what I was saying and not listening.
Had a water sprayed on my hair to give texture at the end et voila ! lol
It looked alright but then I washed my hair the next day and discovered my haircut is not even the same on both sides + he left some long hair.
Did a bank transfer to his personal account as I didn’t have cash (very professional indeed). £40 for that, luckily I’m laughing about it but please don’t go that’s not good!

Awful salon, very unprofessional don’t go here guys. I worked here for a short period and the women didn’t pay me and after 2 days she said she doesn’t need any more staff yet was posting the next day that she does . Been 2 months and not been paid she wasted my time and even the quality of her braids are poor and overpriced.
Fatima was professional and she did exactly what I wanted. She also promised not to charge me extra for the extra long length in the following visits. What's not to love?

Danielle is fantastic at what she does, she is truly a real artist! She’s so creative but she is also very attentive to what you want! I show her pictures of my outfits (eg my 21st birthday party, graduation, etc) and she did my hair and makeup to match the outfit & occasion. I’ve tried a few different lash places, nobody compares to Danielle, she’s got a magic touch where your eyes don’t sting at all and the lashes are perfect x

Had my box braids done today. Marcia and her team was amazing. They were all lovely and the 4 hours I spent there laughed a lot and felt very comfortable. Braids also look amazing. Definitely recommend 100%
Marcia is a lovely lady, she made me so welcome and the atmosphere in the shop was lovely. She fit me in last minute and my weave look amazing. I would highly recommend Marcia and one of the best hairdresser I have been too.

Great hairdressers
Really disgusting service. They have a price list but when my child's hair cut was complete they more then doubled the price!! I questioned this but they just argued and embarrassed me in front of the whole shop. I said last time it was the price that was quoted on the price list but they said that must have been a mistake even though the higher price was not advertised any where. Avoid at all costs, they are money grabbers & bullies.
Ron is an artist and shows real passion while he is cutting your hair, he taught me a lot about my hair and how to control and take care of it. Best haircut I've ever had. I am sure to go back again and again! 10/10!

Ron is simply fantastic. 6 months ago I was hesitant to go to any hairdresser as my hair had become so damaged and unmanageable. A friend recommended him and told me that having my hair trimmed was a must.
Ron immediately made me feel at ease, explained what he was going to do and reassured me that I could have a healthy head of hair again. 6 months later and my hair is in such good condition. Once limp, damaged and broken is now thick and shiny.
Incredibly passionate, experienced and someone that genuinely cares-these attributes are evident when you meet Ron. If you want someone who will restore your hair and make it healthy again this really is the guy to see.

Ron worked wonders on my curly hair, I was so relieved to find a hairdresser that keeps my curls in good shape without cutting everything away! My hair has grown so much quicker since visiting. I literally travel across London (and the country) to have an appointment with Ron. I live overseas and sadly cannot visit regularly, but when I do, you can see how happy my hair is for it! Ron was the first to recommend using no shampoo and my hair has been better for it, he helps you get back to your natural hair. Thank you Ron - keep up the good work.

The best haircut of my life. Ron has a unique style of sculpting the hair which I have never seen before, and he ensures that every cut is made for each client. The place is enthusiastic about your hair, and not focused on trying to sell you product. Cost £20, but always feels like a million bucks... I often get compliments from friends about my hair -- and it's all down to the magic of this place.
Best haircut I've ever had. I'm usually quite nervous about getting my hair cut, (it's a phobia that makes a lot more sense than spiders, cos someone actually has a sharp implement near your ears and eyes) but it was very welcoming and relaxing. The proprietor Ronnie did a smashing job, he was also very helpful with my odd request to cut my long hair off in pony-tails so that I could donate it to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer.
Unlike in the street view image the shopfront now has a nice big window frontage which makes the place really bright and it just feels happy. Ronniw really listened to what I wanted and had great suggestions. This is a guy that really knows hair on heads.
