Lovely little quirky place, dog friendly cafe, very nice selection of cakes an lovely club sandwich. Soup of the day also delicious.
I got my hair done here and did work experience here 9 years ago with my friend. We both had work experience with Ayse and Lennie and both were a great laugh but professional very motivating with running a business. I got my hair done here as well and got the morrocan hair treatments done by Ayse and my hair was so silky and shiny it looked beautiful and the prices are very reasonable, would definitely recommend.
A great place to visit with art, cafe and gardens. Circa 50 concessions privately rented by a variety of artists and artisans.

Lovely cafe within the house. Inside and outside seating available with very friendly and efficient staff. I had a lovely breakfast roll which was packed with 2 Lorne sausage and 2 potato scones which set me up for the day. My wife and daughter had cinnamon and apple scones which they said were delicious. The coffee was also pretty decent too. The lunches that were being served to other diners looked amazing so I will definitely be back to give them a try.
I had a really lovely experience at Aqua Hair Spa. Everyone was really nice and very professional. I think it's one of the best quality haircuts I've ever had.
A gorgeous setting, we visited the cafe, food was lovely. Cant book a table so its turn up & wait in the queue if its busy. We didnt find disabled access so the stairs were a bit of a struggle for elderly mum so worth asking ahead of visit. A very pleasant visit & will be returning.
She is absoluting fantastic!!!! Ever since I've had my Balayage I've gotten engaged, I had a job promotion and even boosted my confidence. I got a haircut here yesterday and I feel so good! I don’t think my hair ever looked this nice. I also always receive amazing advice and tips to care for my hair. I struggle finding hairdressers which can cut curly hair properly but Peter left me speechless. He turned my long boring curly hair into something out of a magazine for only £34. I asked for layers and a bit of a fringe and this is what I got. 10/10 definitely going again.
Disappointed. I asked if he cut women's hair, they said yes. I showed a photo of a simple, straight cut, only to renew the same cut. He said yes they could. When the person went to cut it, he didn't seem to know what to do with the scissors. I even asked if he was okay and he knew how to do that ?? He replied yes. As a result, my hair is full of ends in different lengths, no cut, worse than it was and I paid 25 pounds.

Connor was great and didn’t judge, took time to understand what I was looking for, what my hair is like and how I prefer to wear it/style it. Jacobean House built in 1675 by the well connected Seton Family. Interesting history and connection to many Historical Kings and Queens and wealthy families visiting over the centuries . Nearby Port Seton Harbour worth a visit too. Small museum explaining the connection to the Jacobites and the Battle of Preston Pans . Lovely garden with a great coffee shop to enjoy as well.
I had a cut and blow dry at Aqua Hair-this was my first visit, and it won't be my last. I was very happy with how Ayse blew my hair dry and she heard me when I asked her not to take much off the ends. I'm thrilled with my cut and blow dry and would highly recommend this hair salon.
I have followed Sinem around for years, she is excellent! Always listens to what I want and, added bonus, delivers a great haircut and I’d also a wonderful human! The lady who washes my hair was also great. Excellent experience.

Have been attending this hairdressers since I was 11. 22 years on, I now travel from another Borough to come here. Will forever recommend First Glance. Always professional. My hair is in great condition and often complimented on it.

Completely in love with my new hair by Connor! Amazing full head of highlights and gorgeous cut and blow dry - So friendly and professional and offers great advice. Such a fun atmosphere in there, will definitely be returning!
The hairdressers knew exactly what I wanted them to do and was very professional. They were kind and friendly and practice good customer service throughout my consultation. I was offered a hot or cold drink. I would definitely recommend this salon to my friends,and I will definitely be going back. My hair looked wounder I felt like a million dollars. And my husband commented on how lovely my hair looked.
I have quite thin hair, very hard to trim and even harder to style, over the years there has only even been one stylist who has done it justice… and then I was introduced to Pete! The only other person who can cut and style my hair and beard to perfection. You are not getting a template trim here, he is a stylist, and will give you a bespoke cut and style to suit your person. Ontop of that, the atmosphere with all the staff is great, and the interior of this place is gorgeous - the whole experience is very relaxing and enjoyable. I’ve found my go-to - so give these guys a go, and I am confident you will find yours too!

Been going to Aqua for many years now. Honestly do not trust anyone else with my hair Gracey done an amazing job with my hair, they always listen to what you want and the idea you had I have never left Aqua feeling disappointed after an appointment. Cannot recommend everyone at Aqua enough.

Chelsea was amazing! I had a long day at work and wanted a simple trim. She really made me feel calm and knew exactly what I wanted. She also asked me throughout, if the length was okay and if I was happy with it. Can’t find anywhere else within London that has such good value as here and without absolutely extortionate prices for a simple haircut. Will definitely be back again!

We did not use the hotel part (had not realised there was a hotel part) walked in the gardens and went to the Flea Market followed by a delightful meal in the cafe. Great shop, super friendly staff in all areas. Overall, it was a lovely day out.

I have been there few times and always felt comfortable, relaxed ,great result and good chat with the two hairdressers. Kind and knowledgeable, i love their vegan products. I had to leave away from Brockley but I still haven't find any other salon as good. Just went to another one closer to home and regretted it, I'll come back here next time as it is worth the trip. The paddle brush blow dry is the best.

Having been in SE4 for 22 year's, I cannot believe I have not been here before. The salon is so friendly, warm and welcoming and the hairdresser, Daisy, is amazing. So talented - a real eye for what suits you. She takes her time in analysing your hair type, consults you with idea's and really thinks about what would look best. I have not liked my hair as much as this before. Highly recommend this salon.
We took my dad here for lunch for his birthday since his dog was allowed in and the grounds are lovely. If a menu was available to view in advance, I would have gone elsewhere. It's basically sandwiches or baked potatoes with nice fillings and salad etc but it should be nice for £10 each. It's a small lunch menu and lots of the more substantial things weren't available - both pies, the salmon and the kid's burger. They should really have put on a 'special' additional dish to compensate for this. We probably won't go back.

This place was recommended to me after searching for somewhere local to me and I am definitely not disappointed. I needed a simple wash cut and blow-dry with expert advice on my damaged ends. And I was given exactly that. Staff are warm and friendly as you enter the salon. They took care of hanging my coat up, made me a cup of tea and had a lovely chat throughout. I am very pleased with my new hair cut. I definitely will be back here again for regular trims. Thank you soo much!

At Someone Very Beautiful you're seen and treated just as the name of the health, hair and beauty salon. You are cared for by two beautiful souls Victoria and Charlene. I've been using them for more than 10 years now and have no intention of willingly going elsewhere. Firstly I've never had a "bad hair day experience." They tell you about each product before using them in your hair or on your body. As individuals they are kind, thoughtful, caring and always try to be flexible for their clients. It was amazing to see how these ladies efficiently worked through the back log after the first covid19 pandemic lockdown was lifted. They were just brilliant. Lastly and definitely no way least the shop's centrally located. I would definitely recommend Someone Very Beautiful.

I went here few times but haircuts get lazier and worse every time it seems and price goes up £20 now for very basic haircut but it does come with cuts irritated skin uneven cut hairs and hair left around the ears! No attention or care won’t be coming back

I moved to Honor Oak Park just over 5 years ago and stumbled on Barbaros hair salon. I managed to get an appointment that week and have been a loyal customer ever since. Rah is a breath of fresh air and makes you feel like part of the family every time you visit. Been coming here for around 3 years. First time I've ever used a regular hairdresser. Rahme and her daughter are always so friendly and welcoming. Rah advised me on a natural colour to cover my greys (as I was a hair dye virgin). Always very happy with my colour and cut. My husband comes here now and my two young boys love coming for their haircut. Rah is so sweet with them and they always leave looking very smart and with a treat in hand. Would highly recommend this local family business.
I've been going to Barbaros for about 10 years now and always feel welcome and at ease. Rahme is a delight to talk to and will do the hair cut asked but will also advise on what kind of cut or shape would suit you. She is always very focused and efficient while cutting and incredibly skilled. The pricing is right and I always feel I look 50x better walking out than when I walked in! Matteo was truly professional, confident in his cutting techniques and really understood my hair and which style would look best. He’s one of few hairdressers that take the time to wash my thick hair properly and actually comb it – something you’d think was standard! I came to him last-minute and he made a special effort to fit me in after another hairdresser had butchered my hair, leaving it noticeably uneven. Matteo used some scissor tricks I’d never seen before! I had only used this salon once before and had a great experience with Bianca too but after this time, there’s no doubt that I will be visiting each time I need a trim. I feel like a different person now – thanks again Matteo!

A five star barber shop. A friendly and professional hair cutting crew. I have used the services here for years and I have no complaints. This is more than a black barber shop. I have witnessed other races - different generation of white and Asian males on a regular basis have their hair cut here and these guys are repeat customers. That said, the entrance into this commercial premises complies with commercial building regulations for disabled and or wheelchair user. For the wheelchair user, the entrance door is a push/pull manual door type. You will require assistance to enter and has a foot step into or out of the shop. This is a lively and a busy barber shop. There is ample seating area, with a large on the wall tv and music to keep waiting customers occupied. With regards to free in-house WiFi connectivity I have been unable to confirm this. Overal, the service provided is second to none. These guys know their business. Nice people to do business with. Highly recommended.

First time i stopped by she fitted me in and did a really good job for a decent price i was really impressed and a bonus it just around the corner from me. But unfortunely they dont open and close at the times stated on the shop door. They only open if they have enough appointments booked for that day. I tried to book and she wouldnt do it for then i tried to ring up few days later and got no answer. So will travel further out for more reliable customer servicer. If you do choose to go here make sure you give yourself enough time so your not racing around like me at the last minuet to get treatment else where before attending an event.

Absolutely fantastic. Not just the prices, but the service. They always treat me so well, the place is so clean and they cater to ALL hair types which is beautiful. Its nice to go to a salon that isn't segregated, all people from all ethnicities sit together to get their hair done...and everyone's hair is on point!
