Very good resturant with excellent service and nice buffey arrangements for group
Maharaja Restaurant in Tbilisi is a culinary gem that promises an exceptional dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.

The food quality at Maharaja is simply outstanding. Each dish is a testament to authentic Indian cuisine, bursting with rich flavors and perfectly balanced spices. We particularly enjoyed the chicken masala and wheat rotis, which were cooked to perfection. The chicken masala had a rich, creamy sauce with tender pieces of chicken, while the wheat rotis were fresh, soft, and complemented the dish wonderfully. The butter chicken and lamb biryani were also noteworthy, and the naan bread was fresh and fluffy. The variety of vegetarian options was impressive as well.

The service was equally remarkable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. They provided insightful recommendations and were always on hand to attend to our needs without being intrusive.

Overall, Maharaja Restaurant in Tbilisi excels in both food quality and service, making it a must-visit for anyone craving a delightful and memorable Indian dining experience. We look forward to our next visit!
No hard feelings, but i must say i feel bad for people trying to find desi food in Tbilisi and end up here. We were not very hungry and just wanted to try, we ordered chicked Kadai, however, chicken pieces with lot of water gravy and capsicum came, i heard the reviews before but wanted to give a benefit of doubt. Horrible food. Cherry on the top was that they charged 18% extra as GST over the Tariff price, we walked out with a smile.
In Georgia the food can become quite monotonous and people from the sub continent with a spicy tongue it can really take a bit of passion out of the travel. We faced the same and decided against our principle to visit an Indian restaurant in a foreign land.

The restaurant is tagged rightly in Google maps although its access from an alley from the back. It’s accessible through a staircase and I couldn’t spot any elevator. The restaurant is spread over 2 large rooms and a special seating arrangement on the balcony that will always be on demand.

We figured it has quite an exhaustive menu and thus took the help of the waiter. The recommendation was chicken tikka masala but our tongues wanted a bit of sweetness so we went for Butter chicken instead. Along with it we ordered 1 garlic Nun and Missi roti. The dish was above average and the service is slow primarily because there were just 2 ladies managing the entire tables across the restaurants.

Thus we had to ask for onions and then lime and tissue paper. Nevertheless in a holiday we don’t mind but someone who is in a hurry might feel a bit of discomfort.

They did not have any hard liquor. But had local beer and soft drinks.

The payment can be made by cash at the table or for payment in card one has to walk all the way to the reception where the card machine is present.

Not highly recommended from my side.

Very good place for Indian food ,if they have more balcony to eat it would be great, currently they have 1 only ,very good food .We tried pakoda ,french fries 🍟 both awsome
It is one of the perfect places to eat the best Indian food in Tbilisi at affordable prices. We had been there with the family and tried Fish Pakoda with Chicken Tikka Masala followed by Kadak Chai. The food tasted really awesome. The best thing is the restaurant is located in the heart of the city. 5 stars for service, taste, ambience and location.
I already mentioned it via star,
No quantity of food no quantity no service atmosphere also weired their behaviour is also like they are hiding or doing something wrong.
Rates are like 7 Star hotel 10 times expensive then Dubai.
Not 🚫 Recommend.
Listen listen listen. This is the best Indian place I've been in Tbilisi. There is no bad Indian food, obviously it's all the best, but this is the best of the best. I brought people from New York here and New Yorkers have very high standards and THEY were impressed. Everything here is the perfect version of what it is. And you can choose spice level as well, that part, yeah, is common but still really cool. Gotta be ready to bring some home with you, it's a lot of food so especially if you wanna try a few things know you're gonna bring some home DO NOT WASTE IT IT IS TOO GOOD. You bring it home and you have a few meals. If I remember correctly it's cash only, I've never paid there with a card that I can remember. So bring cash. Look I can't sit here and say I know every single Indian place in the city but from what I know, again, no shade to the others, they're all good, but Spice Garden is TOP NOTCH.
I recently dined at this restaurant based on the google reviews but it looks like either they are paid reviews or their own team is posting it on google as they are quite misleading unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfying. The service was slow, the food lacked flavor, and the overall atmosphere was dull. I wouldn't recommend it to others.
Most importantly, prices are quite high which doesn't match the taste. Also, you are supposed to carry cash as they don't accept card payment.
I also observed that after each negative comment there are bunch of too good to be true reviews which is a bit shady. Should have realised it before visiting. Now the owner will write a rude rebuttal but the purpose is to make the fellow tourists aware so who cares as long as the purpose is being served.
A fantastic spot for comfort food and friendly service. We ordered egg fried rice , jeera rice and Chilly Gopi .Flavourful and the portion were generous. While one curry was too salty ,the staff quickly responded and replaced it without hesitation. overall delightful experience, Spice garden earns a solid four stars.
Looks like the owner has the audacity to write back rude comments on honest reviews.

Your best ‘’professional team” serves cold tea and bland food. And the fact that you are advertising it as the best Indian restaurant doesn’t match the value you are providing.

We are here to spread awareness to fellow tourists so they don’t get scammed by your false marketing tactics. You should spend some time on training instead of showing your true hostile nature here publicly.
The restaurant is halal. Everything was perfect, the waitress was really nice. The shrimp biriani is really good it comes with yogurt next to it. But suddenly we get shocked by 15% increase as in “tax”. Which is not be found in any restaurant except this one. Maybe because we are tourist, they gave us the bill written by hand.
