Neat place for kids to play football. My only issue would be some covering for the bleachers and grounds maintenance to pick up trash around the outside. But otherwise cool and mostly clean
Adjacent to the bustling neighbourhood of Madina, the park is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and other attractions, making it an ideal location for both sports and leisure activities. The park is also suitable for hosting various events, thanks to its spacious layout and supportive staff.

Attended a friend's wedding there. It's a lovely place. Doesn't seem to be able to hold very large crowds though, and parking in the venue tends to be an issue as well. But overall a very nice place.

Good:
- The Astroturf had a well-maintained pitch that was perfect for playing football.
- The turf was even and offered good traction, making it easy to move around while playing.
- There were plenty of spectators on the sidelines who added to the excitement of the game.
- The location was easily accessible and had ample parking space for visitors.
- The lights were bright enough for good visibility during night games.
Not so good:
- Unfortunately, the weather let us down as it rained during our visit, making the surface slippery and affecting the game.
- There were no covered areas, so we had to take shelter under our cars during the rain.
- The facilities were basic, with no changing rooms or toilets.
- It would have been nice to have some refreshment stalls nearby, but there were none.
Overall, the Astroturf had its highlights and low points. While the pitch was excellent and the energy of the spectators was contagious, the lack of covered areas, toilets, and refreshments, coupled with the unpredictable weather, were a bit of a bummer. Nonetheless, we would recommend it for amateur games and friendly matches with friends.

My experience here was beautiful, I had an amazing time, very tasking tho but fun, the instructors were nice too, would visit again

Becareful of floods during the rainy season
Henry Dei Recreation CENTER is an entertaining Centre for all occasions such as Parties, Wedding, Church services, Naming Ceremony, Receptions and many more. One would love to be there only to listen to the music on these occasions and would Love to know much more about the differences between each occasion. It runs through out the week, that one can choose any date in the week suitable. Just check into the offices in charge and choose your date suited. Thanks all. Enjoy the week end. The only Well structured Astro Turf in East Legon.. this is where my kids train. Join East Legon Football academy and get to train here too
Nice nice pitch. The grass well grown. A footballers dream pitch. We had a nice time with the fun games. Also, situated right in the middle of the Legon campus with all that comes with it 😊
Words alone cannot describe my anticipation prior to coming here. The craziest thing is I was blown away by what I found. My expectations were thrown out the window and I was left with nothing but awe. I could give a description to help you understand how fun it is to be here but that won't be doing it any justice. So I implore you, if you love nature and adventure, you should definitely come here!

A good number of activities to engage in especially at the High Ropes section. Scary initially but thrilling if you love adventure. I had a great tour guide / assistant. If you are not fit please don't try it. 😂😂😂

This is my favorite place on google maps!Surprisingly being at the heart of Accra, it’s the only place you can feel you are out of Accra. The lake, the canopy walk, the high rope obstacles with the garden is so much to enjoy.

A very nice place and one of the best hockey pitch that I've played on before.

I love this place, it has a peaceful environment and it gives us the chance to feel nature and be adventurous. It is that place you want to leave a busy and noisy city or environment to. They have playgrounds for children and adult plus other interesting adventurous activities. I recommend this place for companies or institutions looking forward to build a strong and connected team. Security is strong, it's a safe place. I took this pictures myself.

It's a general purpose venue for all kinds of events. It has ample parking space for car parking and up to 5 spaces that can be used to host events silmutanously.. it's close to the Accra City center. They're is no marked accessible parking or entrance

The Legon Botanical Garden is super amazing. Best time to get there is the early morning between 8am and 12noon when tje weather isn't too hot. There is a canopy walk, beautiful colourful play ground for children and a rope walk session. One of ultimate best time places in Accra.
A nice place to visit on a weekend (field hockey lovers). They've got some delicious kenkey with nicely spiced fried chicken & some ice cold drinks too.

This is number one school park also known as number one cluster of schools. It's a school that has a community football park/field.
Well maintained hall facilities, at least, I had a great time playing an indoor tournament (that I mean chess, surely I didn't come to play or watch hockey!)... Could be great for medium/small sized reception (event).
Large field with scatters grasses. Very popular place for night prayers of University Staff and Students alike. Also used for hosting various programmes including hall weeks and gospel rock shows

Though,most of the riders are not calm they can talk to you anyhow. But as for mè, when and wherever I picķ up à riďer ì humble mýseĺf and tàĺķ to them in polite manner.

Cool place, green grass and washrooms available. Ideal for hosting wedding and family parties. Though you need to find a good place to park your car because there's no parking space. Just park on the side of the road.
