Great pizza and staff! On sundays there is band playing traditio Al greek music, a big must see thing!

Good food, we ordered stuffed mushrooms and pita bread and it was delicious. The atmosphere is with good vibes, mostly locals, in a quiet street retired from overturistical parts. I recommended it.

Tables are extremely cramped. Smoking is prohibited inside. However, smoking electronic cigarettes should definitely not be allowed. Some e-cigarettes have a truly awful smell. If the tables weren't so crowded and electronic cigarettes weren't allowed, it would be a club that deserves 5 stars without hesitation.

We had tickets and were punctual, but they oversold the place and gave our seats to someone else. Then they suggested we could take a table with two chairs, although we were three and had purchased three tickets and three seats. We were really looking forward to it and got disappointed. Also, they didn’t even return us our money and we left feeling scammed.

As a lover of jazz music, the prospect of visiting this highly talked-about jazz bar in Athens filled me with excitement. The bar boasts an impressive lineup of talented artists, a detail that initially caught my attention. However, my anticipation quickly turned to disappointment due to the unwelcoming atmosphere cultivated by the staff. The individual at the cashier was notably unfriendly, and the bar staff seemed indifferent to guest experiences. Most troubling was the seating coordinator, who blatantly ignored our attempts at communication, showing no interest in accommodating us. Despite arriving 45 minutes early and having paid for our tickets like everyone else, we were left without seating—a stark contrast to the comfortable, engaged experience advertised on their website. This lack of consideration for guests overshadowed the talent of the performers, leading us to leave before the show even started. It's a shame to see such artistic talent overshadowed by the venue's arrogance and poor customer service. Unfortunately, this experience has deterred me from ever returning.

A Letdown Despite the Talent on Stage

Anticipation for an evening filled with jazz at one of Athens' well-regarded spots quickly turned sour due to the venue's apparent lack of respect for its patrons. The promise of an intimate evening enjoying smooth jazz was marred by the dismissive behavior of the staff. Right from the start, the service was lackluster; the person managing the cash register was unwelcoming, while the bar staff appeared to be indifferent to guests' needs. Further exacerbating the situation was the seating coordinator's utter disregard for our presence, ignoring us completely when we tried to address our seating situation. Despite assurances on their website of a cozy setting where one could enjoy a drink while soaking in the music, we found ourselves without seats even though we arrived well in advance. This disparity between expectation and reality, coupled with the staff's arrogance, created an overwhelmingly negative experience, compelling us to leave before enjoying the music we came for. It pains me to see such gifted artists perform in a venue that doesn't value its audience. I regret to say I won't be visiting again.

This cute club offers an atmosphere that tries to resemble some of the jazz/blues clubs of the 50s and certainly does a pretty good job at it.
The service is decent, and so are the prices on their menu.
Many significant names of the music industry parade every season from its stage, charming the audience with their performance.
If you are into that type of music -like I am, Half Note is a unique option for an awesome night out.
The hall is full most of the nights, so make sure you book tickets in advance.

Awful experience

During the tickets check at the entrance, we ask if we would be able to get a table, they reply that there are still tables available, and they were!

We happily got a bench style seating with sort of tables to each side! We were excited for the concert and we ordered a bottle of Gin to enjoy the night !

While we were waiting to be served and just seconds before the concert starts, one of the personnel comes and asks me to show our tickets! I was left speechless from her aggressive way of asking! I show her our 4 tickets and she tries to kicks us out of our seats because we had bought the “cheap tickets”!

I only bought the tickets (one single price) available on their website! There was no indication that there were exclusive tickets and that they were sold out! Therefore, I had bought tickets restricting my options without knowing!
@Management, please make sure to inform people on what they are entitled and what not since there are restrictions on the venue ! The best time is during purchasing and/or during the checking of the tickets! It will be also wise to have a professional to check who is seating where on time since such restrictions apply!

Trying to understand what is going on, I refuse to leave my seat immediately informing her that before I go I need to check with the waitress before she looses us from her sight! I also asked her that we would like at least to get a table on the part of venue that our tickets “allows” us to be especially because my mom is more than 70 years old and needs to be seated!

The waitress arrives with our bottle and she does not allow her to serve us! She said with a threatening manner we are gonna solve this straight away!

Another rude lady comes to whom I refuse to talk to! She starts talking to my mom! My mom tells her that what they do is illegal and they deserve that we call the police! We obviously would NOT call the police, the concert had already started and we were arguing for our customer rights !

This lady uses my mom’s saying “we will call the police” as an argument and a valid reason to keep being rude while she characterised OUR behaviour as unacceptable !!!!

They prepared a table for us and we were forced to go, otherwise we would not be served!

The table they prepared was located on the worst place could be! We could not see a single member of the band nor the stage and one of the four chairs was half broken!

The lady came once again to tell me that this is all our fault and that however she is willing to return our money back !!!
Second time I am left speechless!

Struggling to understand what is happening what I did wrong with organising this night out with my family and while my heart beats have reached the moon which BTW looked amazing that night from the roof garden of the venue, I ask my partner and my sister how do they feel about it and what should we do ?? We decide to stay and try to enjoy the concert !

The band was performing great and we managed to remove this horrible feel from our stomach!

To conclude, an amazing band and venue with incredible view to the Athenian sky and the Parthenon BUT these women should change job and the management should know how to organise better such events!Sad to read on their website that they have been even funded from an EU programme claiming that they are supporting culture! They might support culture but it seems they forget something… respect to the customers and even more importantly to elderlies!

The place where you can easily socialize with locals even you become friends and have great fun. The musicians make the atmosphere warm, charming and joyful. If you ignore what you eat and drink , you will be captured by its magic. Thanks to all people we met there. For the second time visit in Rhodes , we are sure that we will stop by this lovely place again. We still remember our good moments there in our hearts. Highly recommended if you wanna experience how locals enjoy the time, it is the best place to go.

I visit fantasia every year but this time it was terrible. No receipt and high bill with no good Environment. Too many people in there and it was like sitting on another. Not again!

Nice place for small gigs. Drinks are if you are buying the whole bottle. Not much choice really. Also, the only thing they offer alongside the drinks is a small selection of cheeses plus pre packed nuts.

I know the place for many years! I might be romantic but I liked it in its earlier form. Back in the days it would get 6 stars!!! Now...it is a great place to be! Definitely a "must"!

When in Athens and you're looking for jazz, this is the place to go.
I came here for the Petros Klampanis Group, homage to Miles Davis show and it was superb.
Table service, six stars for the attentive wait staff, not an easy job for them to negotiate around the tables, the bar and food menus have plenty to choose from at reasonable prices for a great night out.

Love this place, but they really need better chairs in the main stage room. Anything more ergonomic than those square torturers will do, especially considering that concerts with opening acts can last over 4 hours altogether. Apart from that, everything works great, and the service is professional and friendly no matter how busy.

Really lovely terrace with nice coffees! Food is just ok and service takes its time, but we’re not in a rush so no problem. Really recommend for a nice relaxed iced coffee

We met some friends for pre dinner drinks : what a lovely garden at the back on various levels! Good drinks selections and u can have dinner as well but we just chatted and had few drinks . The place was packed with a young crowd and had a great atmosphere. Apparently 1 a month they held a gay night club evening that is super popular

This club is on another level! From the moment you step in, you’re surrounded by vibrant lights and incredible beats. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the drinks are reasonably priced for a mega club. The crowd is lively and diverse, creating a fantastic party vibe. I can’t wait to go back - this place knows how to throw a party!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
We experienced a lot of issues. First we were made to wait outside for an hour, then when we got to the front, the staff member knew we were from the UK and told us that there is a wait but if we get a table and a drink for 200 euros we could go in! We refused so he made us wait for another 20 minutes and let others go in. We questioned why we could not go and he refused to give an answer. Turns out the staff member was trying to scam us and when we argued he called his manager and his manager had a go at him and then we were allowed in.

The drinks were watered down (a lot of ice and little of the actual drink. I'm from London and I did not know any of the English songs played. They have tables in the middle and people around did not dance. The staff walk past the dance floor and you get pushed a lot.

A lot of smokers inside blowing on your face and no ID checks so anyone can go in.

Ultimately it was the man at front doing tickets that ruined the experience and I hope Lohan do something about him.

The dancers that work for Lohan were really good but that was it.

I visited this place during a live show that took place there few weeks ago. The atmosphere was nice and so was the performance of the singers. A good place for a night out.

There were so many people on the dance floor but no one was dancing, I've never seen such a weird atmosphere. We left the club after two hours. The vodka was good.

Fun but not the best club in Athens. There are tables in the middle of the dance floor, not conducive for dancing.

The ONLY good thing about this place was the atmosphere. Dancers were good. Music was bumping. EVERYTHING ELSE, Mediocre. Oh you’re not VIP ? Gotta go to the regular bathroom of one person and there’s always a line and it’s dirty. They have a whole seperate bathroom for vip like are you kidding me? place is full of clout chasers. People barely dancing. Bottles are $170. All around MID fest.

Excellent coffee, delicious food, and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Staff was highly professional and friendly. On top there's a baby changing room and high chairs. Will come back.

We were only two persons so we couldn’t get a chair. Music was meh at best. Lots of youngesters. Not impressed. We went on a saturday night, paid €15 for a drink that tastes like water. We tried to enjoy ourselves but the place was too packed and the music was no good.

Cool and chilled-out pizza restaurant and bar in a great spot in the old town. No one hovers around, trying to drag you off the street, in this very relaxed pub. Interesting artwork adorns the walls and the soundtrack is mostly rock music, it being one of the owners favourite genres.
Small selection of burgers and chips etc, but a *huge* selection of pizzas, each in three sizes. Two small pizzas (four slice) and a portion of fries is usually enough for me and my wife.
We come here every time we are in Rhodes (disclaimer; we know the staff) when we want a relaxed drink and a change from Greek food options.

Six dogs is great! The food is amazing and well priced for portion sizes and quality. The drinks are also very good. The atmosphere and staff are both amazing. Highly recommend!

Nice Beach Club. Chill / Eat / Drink during the day . Becomes Club at Nighttime after 11pm. Only during summer month. Entrance Fee plus Fee for Umbrellas+Sunbed plus Food and Drinks. We (2 Adults) spent around 100€ for the day ….

Great beach, water beautiful and warm.

Good tunes to add to the vibes.

Service attentive without being intrusive. Wine cold and cocktails adequate.

The only issue: no towels. Even to buy them.

We didn’t order food for this late afternoon visit.

The street leading to this secret destination is somewhat not appealing as it is invaded by graffiti and it is the only business open on this Sunday visit.

However, once you entered through the staircase to a lower floor, it is a hidden oasis.

I ordered a freshly squeezed juice of apple, pear and ginger. It has a nice bite from ginger.

Great relaxing greens around the terrace.

Amazing venue for live Bouzoukia and concerts!!!!

Just 10 minutes by car from the center of Athens , very sky blue clean water, pristine beach , and highly cooperative staff , enjoy a bath under the sun and relax for a while taking your bronze tan, sip a fresh juice or eat some fresh fruits. It’s an unforgettable experience 💖

This beach bar offers a vibrant seaside experience. The plentiful sunbeds and umbrellas, although charged, make for a comfortable beach day. The €4 entrance fee is reasonable, considering the enjoyable drinks and lively atmosphere. It's an excellent choice for catching a breathtaking sunset over the sea. However, if you're seeking tranquility, be aware that the music can be quite loud, making it less suitable for pure relaxation.

Bolivar Beach Bar and Restaurant review: Amazing place, cool music, good food, good service, nice WC facilities.

Beach area review: Entrance was €6. The sunbeds were 100% occupied and we had to wait. When there was one empty in the area with maroon beach umbrellas we were charged €17. We paid cash and no receipt. The girl#1 collecting was in a hurry to leave and kind of rude. Another girl#2 came to take over her duty. When my husband ask for the receipt, she said, it’s alright and she would know who already paid. My husband left to get our bags which we left at the Beach bar while I remain seated on the sunbed. Then girl#2 came to me asking me to pay €17. I said we already paid. She raised her voice and insisted I leave because somebody just paid for that particular sunbed. Then my husband arrived and she demanded us to present our receipt as proof. For whatever reason, she changed her tone and acknowledged that we already paid but we have to transfer. There was an empty sunbed in the beachfront with reserved sign on it. We asked about that reserved sunbed earlier and was told by girl #1 that somebody already paid for it. Big scam really. I’m sure it’s not the management’s scheme but the girls way to earn extra bucks.

It destroyed my good mood but after 30 minutes I calmed down and enjoyed the remaining 2 hours there.

There is delicious food there also the cocktail and coffee. Music creates a good and fun feeling. Highly recommend

Only came here for the food and club night (so not sure how it is during the day for a beach day vibe).

Overall Decor and settings were very nice.

Club night on Wednesdays was good - hip hop, rnb and house.

Food was average.

Service was good from staff inside.

Issue was we were told it was free after 8pm from one of the staff. They lied! But then when we came back we were told to pay €15 to enter (which includes one of their basic cocktail drinks). So a bit of dishonesty at the start but inside was good.

As a place is not bad. The distances between tables is fine. Nor squeezed.

Very nice and clean beach. good music and vibes. fast service and high quality food. Expensive, the aqua park is not included in the price as well as sun beds.

Very large outdoor space, shaded. Was hard to get service sitting inside in a booth. Good food and excellent coffee. They have decaf coffee and almond milk. Order a Greek mountain tea. The chicken tenders were huge and very delicious.

Great place for locals and if you dare foreign visitors. Very friendly staff and bartenders. Love the energy, light show, stage and performers. It just happened that the greek basketball team, Olympiakos, was invited to celebrate their Greek championship. Only $20 euro to get in and comes with a drink. I think the price is very cheap for foreign income. I was willing to spend $200+ . I instead spent it on $15 flower dishes. I will visit again every time I’m in Athens.

Best venue for a concert. Service was perfect, we got in for free last minute with an amazing booth. 75euros for a bottle , and the service kept on coming until 5 am . Definitely going back ! From yul to Ath!

Well, you have to do with very polite and helpful personal. Although we ate fingerfood, it was very tasty. Drinks were real, not any "bombs"-cheap handmade that is and the music programm was also very good. There is only one problem : parking. It is better to arrive and leave by taxi.

What a great place see a live band. Great table service and drinks. Incredible atmosphere. Easy to get to via Metro at the beautiful Keramikos metro station just 50 metres from the entrance of Gazarte. Get a seat near the back window, amazing views of the Gazi area.

Φερρης, Λιολιου, Ματίνα φανταστικοί, υπέροχο πρόγραμμα! Αξίζουν 5 αστέρια. Το ένα αστέρι είναι για τους ''μετρ''. Αγενέστατοι, με πολύ ύφος. Μας άλλαξαν 3 φορές τραπέζι ενώ είχαμε την κράτηση μας για τον κάτω χώρο. Από όπου μας έβαζαν να κάτσουμε, μετά από λίγο μας έδιωχναν, ενώ είχαμε κανονικά κράτηση. Επίσης, ΑΠΑΡΆΔΕΚΤΟ σε δημόσιο χώρο να μην μπορείς ν παρκάρεις όπου θες, μη τυχόν και δεν τα αρπάξουν από παντού. ΤΡΑΓΙΚΟΊ, έχω πάει δύο φορές και δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να ξανά πάω. Ή μπορεί κ ν ξαναπάω μόνο και μόνο γ ν παρκάρω επιδεικτικά όπου θέλω και να μαλωσουμε.

Eventhough i m not a bouzoukia-music lover..kiamos-Sfinos(the current residents greek perfomers)were a pleasant surprise!!

Program was great service no so great, in fact disappointing. Got bottle of vodka which at AB supermarket was less than 15 Euros, Smirnoff is just 3 Euros more and Stoli the same both much better quality yet cheap for the store to make huge profit. As a capitalist I definitely agree with large profit but for 3 Euro difference it becomes ridiculous. I was prepared to drop at least 500 Euros even though I won a free table but nothing in their behavior said welcome. Probably my fellow Greeks usually drop several thousand so I guess I was on the low side.

We had really good time with my wife. The place is amazing with very good quality of singers. The service was fast and the stuff was polite. Panos Kiamos and Toni Sfinos are great entertainers and people were dancing up to the morning.

We had our company party there. The walk way into the club is a sight to be hold. So do bring your phones to take photos!
The 4 star rating is for not turning on the AC! It was so hot in there!

It has always been one of my favourite restaurants. But visiting for the first time this year, I was astonished by the quality and the flavours. It definitely is the best pizza I've ever had.
Always a relaxed and friendly environment, just the best choice for a relaxing cup of coffee or a drink to really tasty food.

Best live stage in Athens to rock, to dance to sing, to drink, to flirt. I would prefer more girls in the ballet than men but that's personal. Thanks for the lovely night.

The best live jazz stage in town, great smoke free environment, great ambience, great service and top choices of artists. A great experience for jazz lovers overall.

Very lively fun filled and uplifting atmosphere. Main character is a Greek native singer/performing with a live band and for the most part does traditional or rather homeland songs, but also mixing in a fair variety of English spoken and American hits. At some point a dj and singer went onto the stage doing some rap. Place is definitely a must

Simply amazing pizza and pasta.

The ingredients are so fresh and delicious.

The menu is varied so it can satisfy any customer.

I only wish it was open 24/7 so I could fulfill my cravings at any time.

Try the Fani Salad and the Carbonara!

Fantastic night out for Bouzoukia. Goes on until the early hours of the morning. Only downside is it's €80 for a cheap bottle of wine.

Tragic .....

Delicious pizza, friendly staff and reasonable prices. All this on a relatively quiet square in the old town. The staff doesn't do the standard "waving you in" you see so much of. Also seems to be a place where some of the locals hang out. Cool place :-)

The club was overpack with little place to stand. I had to get a VIP table in order to enjoy the club. You have to pay to get in and pay for parking while there. $10 euro we had to pay to get in. Overall I had a great time. The music was great.. the dancers were great

Although the Melisses band along with Tamra and the two young singers are doing a very good job / effort, unfortunately the sound in this place is terrible making all singers either sing out loud or most of the times not being able to understand all of us in the audience what they are saying. This is totally against their true value. Other than that the service is excellent all personnel are young at age employees.....as is also the majority of the audience......Sound needs serious improvement as this was discussed by everybody in and out (smokers) all night long!

Good music and atmosphere
I had booked with my friends a table at the second level of the venue.The table where very close to each other which did not give a lot of space to seat and stand up and dance for people.Quite small venue,it seems that for future reference a better place to seat would be by the stage comfortwise.

I totally loved this place, for it’s live singers, fabulous stage, great music, upscale club but OMG you cannot breath in here the smoke is unbearable. I only lasted 40 minutes. Owners please either, have smoking area at the top, or ‘really’ good air ventilation or no smoking at all inside, it’s not fair to us noon smokers, sorry smokers can’t take it!

If you are in Athens and you don't go to Fantasia you never really went to Athens. It"s like going to a Karaoke nightclub in Minsk but with the atmosphere of a boxing match and spicing it with excitement of a live Merengue show in the Dominican Republic, all delivered with the precision of K-pop.

Absolutely awful and unsuitable place for a metal concert. The volume was very low and the sound quality awful at most spots of the overly crowded arena. Saw dream theater and what would otherwise have been a fantastic show, turned into a parody due to the location

Wow ! What an amazing night watching Konstantinos Argyros! Brilliant atmosphere, great table for our party of 23 !! Even the warm up acts were fantastic ! Would highly recommend this artist and this venue. Superb

I went there to watch Paola sing at bouzoukia. Very big stage with grandiose set-up of sound and lights. This is a place to see and be seen as it reflects prestige.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Decent space for seating. Good view to the stage from nearly everywhere. The drinks were original and not the usual local refinery products from the nearby basement. The artistic part I left out as the Greek stages are truly decent and professionally correct with great musicians and performers and all the ingredients of a Greek night out. Not surprising we left at 0645......

Amazing sound system and decoration is very elegant. Service is good and a bit chaotic. Worth to go and listen one night Glykeria and Parios

We were negatively surprised by the smoke. The food menu was below our expectations quality-wise. Parios is always a standard value but the rest of the singers were way behind his league. The staff were polite and friendly.

Really interesting winter space in the city centre. Tough to find a parking spot on Fridays and Saturdays.

A must visit Club in Athens. A bit crowded but they play a nice Live pwrformance and good music witj Dj.

Great music Hall with really good acoustics! I saw Michael Kiwanuka's concert here and it was amazing!

Amazing atmosphere. Great sound system. Polite service. Incredible bands. I liked their line up. Highly recommended if you like live music.
