Great way to stay in Santorini. We stayed in early spring. You will need a car/bike to make the most of the location: 20 minutes to reach the island’s major sites. Walking distance to a pittoresque village and shops. The room was comfy. The Jacuzzi was just what we needed after a day of island exploration. The breakfast served in the room was delicious and generous. Theoni made this stay exceptional: super kind and helpful. Euxaristw poli Theoni

It felt like home away from home... literally... Theoni was not only just a friendly host but was also easy to reach at all times from the day of booking to the last minute of a check out... she simply replied as 'of course' to our every ask.💓 The villa was spacious, and every corner was beautiful and had homely vibes... vast breakfast choices were served at our villa , and Theoni was so cheerful and recommended us restaurants, offered us that she will male a reservation for us whenever wherever needed with, of course, a taxi.

Theoni was an incredible hostess! We felt very at home for the duration of our stay and she always made sure we had what we needed. She offered restaurant recommendations and helped us with transportation. Not to mention the views were so lovely at sunrise and the jacuzzi tub was nice after the long days exploring the island. We got a lovely homemade breakfast delivered to our room on our last day; we ate it on the terrace and it was beautiful!

Fantastic resort with top notch service and attention to guests with a personal touch. The resort is wonderful and there is plenty to do from relaxing to many activities. The guest relations manager Nikoleta from Sani Beach reception was absolutely brilliant and looked after us throughout our stay with any issues we had. Despite the rooms being a little tired and there being way too many kids around, it was an amazing holiday because of how good the service (and food) was, and we will be coming back again.

We stayed 3 years ago during a week, everything has been perfect from the start untill the end. The hotel really deserves his reputation.
Beautiful newer hotel with superior staff. House car available for quick trips at no cost or being ferried to the village or the beach for a price. Better than a cab.

Location lacks its own beach. A small and very difficult to access public beach (a rocky and dangerous climb over slippery boulders) at Agios is a ten minute walk but hotel had two pretty pools.
Katikies is a beautiful hotel with the most amazing and caring staff I have ever met. A special thank you to Natassa who helped me organize and book our trip, answering any question I had no matter how small. During our stay I unfortunately became ill from food poisoning (from the plane) and everyone at Katikies continued to check in on me and offer any help we needed. We felt right at home and couldn’t be more thankful for them. I highly recommend staying here, it does not disappoint!
This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. It’s not exactly located directly overlooking the caldera but you still get some nice views too. The main highlights for this place was the great breakfast (they must have an awesome pastry chef on staff) and it’s employees. Everyone that helped us was very attentive. Special thanks to Myrsini, Irini, Demetri, and Yanni!

Amazing place really lovely staff definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in we absolutely loved it, we can't thank everyone enough for making our stay so memorable.

we especially loved the breakfast a different continental option everyday and hot options are made fresh from a menu, we also loved the sushi and had that a few times for lunch as couldn't resist it.

We stayed there last month and I want to thank this beautiful place and the people working there for the amazing memories we made. The beauty, not only of the view but the whole place that was built as part of the island tradition and philosophy. It made our stay warm and cozy without losing nothing of the luxury and the higher standards you expect from an expensive hotel like that. It was totally worth it!

One of the best experiences of my whole life! Always dreaming to visit a place like this and definitely it exceeded all my expectations including the great reviews I had read before coming! The unique structure of the building itself, the warning staff and the quality of service were truly outstanding. 5 out of 5!!! Katikies Oia will seem me for sure next year! Thank you for everything.
Amazing view, amazing experience, amazing hospitality
I will be sure to schedule again for next year!
The whole trip in Santorini has been magnificent

I've heard that this hotel used to be the top in Santorini, at least when my parents stayed here years and years ago - but my personal experience with the service here was incredibly negative, the worst by far that we experienced throughout our entire Greece trip. I was far more impressed by other, more modern and more luxurious, hotel options on Santorini in all respects.

We had been deciding between this hotel and another luxury Santorini hotel for our recent trip and ultimately decided on the other one. The other hotel was opened much more recently, seemed to have incredible reviews, looked more modern and was significantly more expensive. We wanted to try lunch at this hotel, because my parents had stayed here years ago, to see if we might want to stay there on our next visit to Santorini. Unfortunately, our very negative experience with the service here means we will definitely not be returning for any reason.

We were stopped at the entrance by a gruff and rude employee that barked "what hotel are you staying at?" in response when I asked if we could have lunch at the restaurant. As though I could only eat at this hotel if my own hotel choice was deemed expensive enough? I suppose fortunately for me, the hotel that I was staying at was a top and very expensive hotel - and so we were allowed to go to the restaurant, only with a staff escort the entire way. At the restaurant, one staff member offered us two options for seating - one under ground at the bar and the other on the bluff looking over the ocean. As soon as the second option was offered, another staff member interrupted to say that "there was no availability" at the ocean seating. We thought this was very strange, but we said we would be fine sitting in the bar. Not less than five minutes later, when a much older couple was similarly escorted by the staff down to the restaurant for lunch (we are in our 40s, they seemed to be in their 60s or 70s) they were shown both options and seated at the ocean view option. No one offered any explanation for why we were not allowed to sit there or apologized - and so rather than finishing our lunch and having more drinks, we left immediately and will not be back.

We experienced nothing like the rudeness and disrespect of the hotel staff here anywhere else that we visited during our whole trip through Greece.

Place was amazing! Best food! Best staff! They truly want to do everything and more. Been to a lot of amazing places and this place had the best service hands down!
10000% recommend
We stayed at Katikies Garden Hotel for our anniversary.
Our experience was outstanding.
The hotel is very cozy, the staff members are extremely friendly and welcoming.
The breaker was exceptional.
The pool view is charming.
My only suggestion is extending the pool hours to 8 PM.
This hotel is absolutely amazing! Perfect just like the pictures and turned out to be so much better than I expected. It was worth every penny and in my opinion, even nicer than the main sister property. The views from the room is absolutely breathe taking!! The sister property is beautiful but you get much more privacy and intimacy in the Katikies Villa. The service was top notch and the staff members went out of their way to really make our stay as amazing as possible.

Huge thanks to Chris for being a gem and going out of his way to make our stay impeccable. Everyone at the front desk (the manager, Effie, Natasha and others) were the most hospitable people.

Thank you Katikies Villa for the trip of a lifetime!
My husband and I stayed at Katikies Chromata for 6 days in room 23, the Superior Outdoor Jetted Tub suite. The jetted tub was huge and we spend a lot of time on our balcony enjoying the spectacular views. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. They helped us book 3 fantastic dinners and we ended up using the car transfer service multiple times. This hotel is amazing , but keep in mind transports are expensive. Transfers were $50-$60/each way to Oia , Santos Winery etc. With no Uber and limited taxis it was the only option. Every driver was so kind and readily available, just be prepared to factor that into your budget. Breakfast was spectacular each morning. We loved the quieter location of the hotel vs Oia , but did need to rely on transportation more because of that.Thank you to Stella and her team for making our stay so memorable. We will be back, and recommend this hotel to others.
Exceptional. Location was perfect, view incredible and quintessential Santorini, and the staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful.

10/10 place to stay in Santorini!! Our host was amazing and extremely kind and helpful! The beds were comfy, the place was clean, we loved the robes, and it has everything you could think of in terms of comfort.
Beautiful hotel with wonderful service. The hotel pool has views of the sea and it's definitely worth a swim. We stayed in a garden room with a pool and really enjoyed it.

The staff is incredibly friendly and were a tremendous help throughout our stay. One benefit of this hotel is that they have locations in oia and Imerovigli who were able to help us arrange taxis when we needed it. They gave us water while we waited, which is always a nice touch.

We enjoyed the location of fira as well. There are many shops and restaurants nearby in the town. I highly recommend this for your stay in Santorini.
Absolutely unforgettable! Katikies Chromata was a dream come true for our recent 3 night break. Nestled perfectly in Santorini, the location simply couldn't be better. Our room was nothing short of stunning, and to our pleasant surprise, we were graciously given a free room upgrade.

But it wasn’t just the physical beauty of this place that captured our hearts. The dedicated staff went above and beyond, ensuring our experience was nothing less than magical. From thoughtful gestures to personalised touches, they truly made us feel special.

The breakfast was first class. A delightful array of delectables, every bite was a testament to the culinary craftsmanship. And oh, the view of the caldera... it's one of those vistas that photos can't do justice to, yet stays imprinted in your memory forever.

A tip for future guests: Make it a point to take in the sunrise. Just over the road from the hotel, it rivals the renowned Santorini sunset and is equally breathtaking.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking the epitome of luxury and a truly enchanting stay.

Thank you and we hope to return soon.

This is a good review for Katikies Lounge for dinner as there was no other option on Google.

Beautiful sunset, adjacent to the vibrant pool and bar.

Higher than usuals prices for starters and main made up by quality and presentation.
Service from bartender good but later on we had a creepy waiter who was over confident.

Starters of crab croquettes and octopus was excellent.
Mains of prawn with orzo and fettuccini with mussels and artichokes also excellent.

The tiramisu was a deconstructed version which was amazing with coffee ice cream on the top.

I’ve been to Santorini 5 times and also just stayed at Santo Pure. Kirini beats it for service, better food, better views and nicer rooms. Downside is it’s a little further from Oia town centre but positive is a better view than many in town which are not facing the sunset view but more southerly or even easterly. The best views in all of Santorini are in Imerovigli in my view but there aren’t many nice hotels there…

Stayed for 4 nights . We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade which was amazing. The decor of the room is beautiful and spacious.

The staff were all sooo friendly from the minute we arrived , highly recommend transfer from the airport.. I didn’t get to see our driver who did most of our transfer trips during our stay before we left , but wanted to thank him so much for driving us and offering so much helpful info…. ( I wanted to tip him on our last day)

The daily breakfast was prob the best I have ever had anywhere… was spoilt for choice .

The staff by the pools were also so amazing kept making sure we were always with cold water while laying in the hot sun .

Dinner at Botrinis is definitely a must do while staying at the hotel, service and food was exceptional.

It was the most amazing place to relax and finish off our Greece holiday before heading back home …. I can’t wait to come back
We stayed for 4 nights in a suite with sea view (these suites do not face the caldera, cost +1K€/night and are not to be considered as suites but rather normal rooms). Unfortunately, the hotel was not able to meet our expectations of a 5star WLH, meanly due to their opportunistic, pushy and tip fixating approach, which is exhausting. Although the kitchen offers truly excellent food, we would not recommend the hotel. The hotel (and the majority of the restaurants, boat and taxi services on the island) all try to maximize your spending, with the hotel manager trying to sell overpriced “experiences” throughout the day, already starting during breakfast.
An absolutely flawless experience! We had an amazing time, from the moment we were picked up from the port until we were dropped off at the airport, every moment of the guest experience is magnificent. Our arrival and check-in was ver friendly and efficient. The delicious bottle rose on arrival was a master move. Our room was absolutely divine, the pool amazing, the views from the pool and terrace fairytale worthy. Housekeeping and laundry are worthy of praise, room service is excellent and the breakfast is fantastic. All the staff is so friendly and personable, you will never want to leave. Our degustation menu dinner at the restaurant was also outstanding, a hotel restaurant extraordinaire. The hotel also arranged a special birthday treat for my partner, a lovely cake and a terrific bottle of wine delivered to our room on the day while we were out, a delightful surprise, and then we were gifted another bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary! The delights and surprises just kept coming throughout our stay. This has been definitely one of the top holiday experiences of our lives, and the hotel and all its staff should be very proud for the amazing over and above standards and guest services it maintains. 5 stars are just not enough to convey how good this hotel is …

We had a great stay at Katikies Santorini. Incredible views, beautiful rooms, attentive staff, excellent location in Oia. Not cheap, but worth it. A legitimate 5 star luxury hotel.

If you get the chance, dine at Botrini's during your stay. It's a Michelin Star restaurant inside the hotel and it's a unique experience.

This is the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at. We came for our honeymoon and the service was just above and beyond all the time. All of the employees were extremely accommodating, helpful with any questions we had and gave great recommendations. They took the time to get to know us and our likes/dislikes and noticed they catered to them when we were being served. The pools are gorgeous, the rooms are gorgeous and so is the property. We had a private jet tub on our balcony and used it daily. The rooms have an amazing view of the ocean and the island of Delos. We would come back to Mykonos just for this wonderful hotel. We have never felt so valued as customers.

Everything was amazing, especially the breakfast, only thing I can say is the towels often smelled a bit and there were often hairs in and under the beds
Absolutely a gorgeous resort. We had a very special time here. We loved the room, location, and we used the spa twice. ❤️ I would come back in a heartbeat.

A little far from the action of the main town but some would say that’s a good thing. Our room was huge and the vibe of the whole place is serene. Botrinis is divine for dinner - each dish is art and incredibly delicious. Breakfast is off the charts great, too. The bar is beautiful with a truly expert and very friendly mixologist making exquisite drinks. Each and every person who works there is warm, kind, professional, helpful, and does everything with a genuine smile.
Amazing! Excellent service by all staff members. Beautiful rooms which were cleaned twice daily. Excellent breakfast and wonderful cocktails at the bar. We highly recommend the restaurant as well.

We stayed here for honeymoon. And I wish I could stay longer! Hope I will come back one day and enjoy the longer stay!

My favorite hotel in the Oia town! I love the infinity pool, the stairs inside the property, love the breakfast and the dinner.

I don’t know how to express myself but I just don’t want to leave the property☺️

I stayed in the junior suite and my balcony view is fabulous! The property gave us complimentary chocolate, snacks and sparkling wines. It is the great celebration for us!

I enjoyed staying and swimming in the pool, and enjoyed the cozy pool side a lot. This is definitely my dream place to stay. So my dream came true when I went here.

Wish I could come back soon❤️
My husband and I stayed at Katikies Chromata for 4 days and had the most incredible experience. The service was exceptional, the food was so delicious and fresh, and the views were breathtaking. The staff truly makes you feel so special and they are all extremely personable and friendly. I would never stay anywhere else! We will be sure to be back. Definition of a 5-star hotel in every way.
The hotel is an amazing location just outside the bustle the village of Oia with an amazing view of the Caldera. The staff from the really make you feel special; always checking to making sure you have everything you need and are comfortable. I really appreciate that the staff always asked about you and remembered small details about things you liked. The rooms are well maintained and very spacious considering how much space there is in Oia. The pool is beautiful and just a great place to relax.
Great hotel in Santorini with easy access and also parking if you rent a car. The pool was smaller, although many rooms had their own plunge pool. Great views and great breakfasts in the morning included in the stay. Would highly recommend if booking in Santorini.
This is hard to put into words. After only being at Katikies Garden for a few hours, I felt an overwhelming urge to write a 5-star review. Now, after three incredible nights, my partner and I are feeling emotional to leave this special place. It’s not just the property itself (unique and stunning), and it’s not just the level of service (100/10). It’s the people.

It is more than evident the staff loves what they do. Never have I received such care and love from hospitality staff. It’s impossible to comprehend the attention to detail by everyone at Katikies. It’s not just that they remember your preferences and allergies. They somehow know what you’re craving, what you’re thinking before you say it, and when you’ve stepped out, so they can sneakily bring you chocolates and setup your night slippers.

Our experience at Katikies Garden gives new meaning to the phrase “above and beyond.”They make every moment sparkle, and are the very definition of hospitality.

Thank you so much.

Love,
Sarah and André

Great experience. We rented the complex (3 villas), as we were 6 adults. Theoni is fantastic to deal with. She communicates quickly and is willing to help with anything you need (rental cars, transport, recommendations, etc.). Staff was top-notch ready to provide anything needed. Facility is very nice and very well maintained. Highly recommend.
From the moment we arrived we were greeted with kindness. Dimitri took our bags, Irene (Saint Irene 😊) checked us in and gave us a tour of the converted monastery. The rooms were clean. The entire hotel was beautifully decorated and designed. They were able to accommodate us by placing our rooms next to one another and our jetted pools were together so we could chat. Breakfast surpassed every dream and the staff was considerate of any dietary needs. We were sad to leave and forever thankful for the wonderful people at the Garden and the gorgeous spaces at the hotel. Thank you to all who work there for your hospitality. If only we could give more than 5 stars.
We booked the wet junior suite for our honeymoon and we were really looking forward to it, but the hotel did not quite meet expectations. the best part of the hotel is the staff. The staff are incredibly courteous, friendly, and accommodating - no problems there. The room also had a patio with incredible views! However, the jetted "hot tub" in the junior suite could only be heated to about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. By American standards....this just isn't a hot tub and a little bit of false advertising on their part. We would have probably booked the nicer suite with a pool and a cabana lounger had we known the hot tub wasn't a hot tub. Furthermore, there was just a myriad of quality issues with our room. First, the safe broke and we had to walk around with a key to it. Second, the lock to the front door of our room came clear off when we tried to unlock it and we were locked in our room for a few minutes before a maintenance guy could come and get us out. Third, our room phone didn't work and had to be repaired when we first arrived. Finally, we booked a massage that had to then be rescheduled when they accidentally double booked us (get the massage if you go, they are amazing)

In my opinion, these things just can't be happening at a hotel to be considered a five star hotel. If I were going to Santorini again, I'd probably look at a different hotel.
One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at for one of the most beautiful destinations I've traveled to.

We forgot to arrange a port transfer, but the hotel was able to arrange one on the spot. Though we were anxious while waiting at the Fira port, we were soon picked up by a Range Rover. We had 2 rooms, and although we didn't book through any credit card hotel program, 1 of our rooms was upgraded. The rooms were stunning -- just like the cave rooms I've seen on Instagram all these years. There were beautiful arches carved into the room and each room had a flower-adorned patio with comfortable seating outside.

The hotel is well located, away from the most busy, crowded part of Oia but still very close to the village. The view of the Caldera and Aegean sea from our rooms were to die for. The breakfast was served a la carte and each dish was deliciois, especially the caramelized french toast with coffee cream! After our stay ended, we were moving to another Katikies in Fira, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary transfer to the next hotel since they're under the same brand.

Highly, highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Oia!
My wife and I highly recommend and confirm the FIVE STAR status and experience at The Katikies Garden Santorini (Fira). This resort hotel, its facilities, staff and service - including the food were outstanding, and a guest can sincerely feel their commitment to excellence in everything they do and provide. The pool and pool area are so impressive, that you may want to spend a whole afternoon just in that area. Absolutely wonderful resort.
First of all, hands down one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. From the staff, to the views and the rooms. Everything was perfect during our stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Katikies Mykonos was just wonderful in every way. From the moment we arrived the entire staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Anna was sure to get us settled comfortably at the upstairs pool bar while we had a short wait for our room to be prepared. The concierges helped us set up our reservations and car transfers smoothly everyday and gave us great recommendations. We highly recommend the car service with the hotel- each driver was prompt and very professional, it made the whole process so smooth. We had such a nice day just relaxing at the hotel pool as well- George at the upstairs pool bar makes and amazing margarita!! Breakfast every morning was phenomenal and the whole staff was just so sweet and amazing. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more. Beautiful location and stunning view. Thank you Katikies- all our best, Analise & Laurie :)

You won’t ever get fed up of this view. How stunning. It’s amazing to know that rooms could be built into the side of a cliff. Now be warned that you must not suffer from vertigo and be prepared for lots of steps. Make sure you dine at Therasia and there’s a mini lift taking you there. But no lifts anywhere else. We’re now off to the sister property, the Garden in Fira, and looking forward to another amazing stay.

Beautiful location. Wonderful attentive staff. Amazing food. Prepare yourself for a daily hike as there are plenty of stairs to walk up and down which could be quit dangerous depending on how much you drink. I work out 6 days a week and am pretty in shape. These stairs were brutal just an FYI. Though it would not deter me from staying here again I just simply would not look forward to the trek. Again all of the staff was amazing. Our room was clean and spacious. I have no complaints other than the stairs lol
Truly lives up to its claim of being one of the Leading Hotels of the World. Excellent food, service, and location. Visited for my wife's and my anniversary and could not have asked for a better experience. Room had a private hot tub. In-room breakfast was wonderful.
There are 3 apartments, we had a spacious 2 room apartment with private pool outside. The stuff is very very nice and helpful, the breakfast is big enough and changes each day which is nice. The pool is heated up so it’s warm any time of the year. View is perfect and city next to it have everything you need location in middle of island is good - but you need a car to move around the island from here. Airport is just 40 minutes walk down hill.
I’m giving only 4 stars, as floors and unserved could be cleaner better, also there was no lock in the toilet I understand it takes time to fix but was a bit strange to be in toilet when via big space between door and walls everyone in apartment could see you.

Other then that great apartment very nice :)

Einsamer Kiesstrand.
Für Kinder nicht so geeignet, weil es gleich steil rein geht. Das Rauskommen ist auch recht mühsam.
Trotzdem ist es sehr schön dort.
Die Strasse hinwärts ist sehr schmal und man muss echt langsam fahren.
What more can I say about this wonderful boutique hotel than it made the difference between a wonderful stay and a truly memorable vacation. The staff, the hospitality, the restaurant and pool and bar and rooms all were fantastic. We were treated like royalty for every request we made. We were only there for 2 days but we felt like we were family when we left. You get privacy of an all inclusive room and option to be with others at the pool and restaurant if desired. And did I mention the views? Every place you stood has an amazing view of the caldera. They also have 4 other properties on the island and a great transport system to take you around.

Amazing service and help from the staff the entire stay. The hotel had incredible views and we really enjoyed the pool area at the main hotel, as well as the free breakfast nice location. The restaurant Botrini’s was superb as well.
Katikies Villas in Santorini was one of the hotels we chose to spend our honeymoon in Greece and we couldn’t be happier about this decision. The service this hotel provides is truly exceptional, transportation services, comfortable and spacious room, breathtaking view of the calderas, location ,quality of food, attention to details. Costas, who is one of the concierges was our main contact at Katikies and I think he deserves to be promoted for his outstanding customer service skills. We are so grateful for everything he did to make our visit to Santorini an unforgettable experience. All his restaurant recommendations were excellent. From the moment we arrive to the day we left he made sure we had everything we needed, he went above and beyond whenever I contacted him with any request. We would definitely come back in the future and recommend this hotel to friends and family members.
We’ve spent 4 days in the Villas and that was amazing experience! View is stunning! Villa for 6 person 3 bad rooms was cozy and very comfortable! The stuff is perfect! All the managers are so thoughtful and professional, every detail of service was provided. That was a pleasure to spend vacation there!

Wonderful paradise location. Hotel great, room wonderful, bar great location to chill. Beach opposite and several tavernas nearby. Copious breakfast. Genial host. Only disappointment was the room Cleaning which was perfunctory. Ok they emptied the bins everyday. Maybe our fault for being too tidy. But don't let that put you off.

We loved everything about Katikies Villas. Our view was incredible, the room was very clean, and every worker that we interacted with was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. The pool was gorgeous and while we came early in the season and it wasn't warm enough to use, we still spent a lot of time outside enjoying the views and the resort. We will recommend this hotel to anyone that goes to Mykonos.
Staff provided exceptional service during our visit and we’re very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was absolutely divine. Pools were awesome. Definitely will return.
Truly exceptional experience all around!! One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Rooms, service, and location were spectacular. Views and all around experience make you enjoy every minute of this hotel stay. The pool area is amazing too -- also has great food and wine.

Sterios was an excellent staff member we think should be a manager one day -- so sweet and thoughtful.
Amazing place, beautiful views, excellent service!

We were very disappointed with the service and support during our stay. We had issues daily- from no sheets on the bed, to burned room service orders, to the TV and internet not working in our room-so much so, that we requested the managers (Vodca) response. We were told she was not on property. I asked that she stop by our room upon her return- we never heard from her, nor were our concerns addressed.
