Best Massage spas in Hong Kong

My experience at the spa was quite relaxing. I enjoyed the massage as the massager (Yang) was quite talented.We did chat a-lot and she was nice. I would say the space is a-bit small but the massage was very comfortable and i will visit it once again

I booked a massage here and arrived on time only for them to tell me that I needed to wait 45mins as they were booked out. They had my phone number so could have told me this earlier. No understanding of how to use a booking system. And no apology
I have previously been to this place but seems like new people running the front desk. Will never return.

The masseurs were professional and put their heart into their job. Had a 60 min foot massage and feel instantly relaxed. They use techniques that help release muscle tension and set your bones right. Highly recommend!

I had a great massage session. I got a foot massage after a long two long days of walking and felt better the next day. Also had the lymphatic massage, it was a great massage.

I went to Butterfly SPA this week and didn't like the condition and situation of the place. It' was quite dirty , at the elevator area there were some scary people who checked me and said some aggressive words in Cantonese. Once inside shower and towels were very dirty and bad smelling, the air conditioning did not function. The girls looked sad and had signs of physical abuse on the arms and neck. Are they exploited? This is not what I wanted. the facility is abandoned without renovation, the place is just using past reputation to get new customers, as old will never return. I didn't feel good about it, and the unhappy girls make me sad. This is a very upsetting context it greatly depressed me. I recommend anyone to go somewhere else the masseuses are treated well and the facility is well maintained.

Awesome place! Had the best foot massage there, the staff are absolutely lovely. A great way to escape the LKF hustle and bustle for some relaxation.

Have visited before covid and I am so glad that they are still here and the service is as good as before. This place is very comfortable and it has good location. The staff there are super nice and professional.

It was the best massage I’ve ever had!

I visited the spa for a manicure. The experience was overall very lovely, service was very nice, professional and caring. Unfortunately my therapist made a mistake and cut one of the cuticles too close, causing it to start to bleeding bit after and resulting in a small infection. I would go again, but probably not for the manicure.

Been getting wonderful Thai massages here for around 5 years, and Khun Sasi and her team are lovely - I always leave feeling great and more relaxed.

It’s authentic and the staff are lovely and with a great sense of humour but…I came out of there and several hours later had at least 3-4 bites of what looked to be the bedbug variety. It was the only possible place I could have picked them up. My usual go to for a massage in Central but I will unfortunately need to avoid in future. For the rest of you, I hope it was just a one off thing.

the receptionist told me on the phone price of a 60min session when I tried to book a 90 min session. Then when I was at the place I verbally asked again if I will be charged the price $390 for 90mins and she said yes, then the massage honestly was bad because I kept asking for more force but it’s so soft like just touching my skin not really any massaging.

Then when I pay the receptionist wants to charge me $580 but I said you mentioned over phone it’s $390 only that’s why I booked. She didn’t clarify either right before I started my massage.

Then the funniest thing is she charged my card for $390 and then said she made a mistake and want me to present my card again but I just paid cash the remaining $190 - the receptionist’s English is so bad, her ability is also very bad, and very dodgy.

I would NOT recommend anyone to come. Shame this place is in Central Hong Kong - don’t want any tourists to experience this at all.

Best place to be after a long haul flight. Reset and recharge over an afternoon with a facial and massage. Go early to enjoy the power jet pool

Fabulous! Superlative services, customer service at its finest. Beautiful premises, super clean and comfortable. Experienced and knowledgeable technicians, quality products. No crazy pressure tosign up for packages or to buy products. Worth every penny. Will be there again real soon.

I came here a few times and had the jade stone massage and deep tissue massage in the couples massage room. High level of service and massage but some rooms are a bit small, a bit dated and overlook the swimming pool. It’s still probably the best spa service vs other hotels on HK island side.

Very inconsistent service given - sometimes my husband and I go in and leave completely relaxed. We had great massages, the place was quiet and relaxing. Other times, and most recently, we've both left in pain and reluctant to return. Some of the girls are too rough (where it feels like they're pinching your muscles or moving them where they aren't meant to move to), inconsistent in their strength or just unprofessional(whispering&giggling to each other or just staring off into space to the point it's like they forgot to continue the massage) the point we would rather pay them to stop.

An amazing experience with the oriental qi massage

Butterfly Spa came up first on the list and so I went to check it out. I pointed out that my back was aching and 小月 (Xiao Yue) magically cure the ache from my back. She knew where to target and if there was too much pressure, she knew how to soften the area with a mix of both light and heavy touches. A very pleasant girl, 小月 could ease the tension in the air (since it's my first time in HK) with light-hearted chats and at the same time focus well on the massage. Definitely recommend if you happen to pass by HK for a holiday! Will come back again in the future when I visit HK again:) 10/10 and thank you for the wonderful memories!

we stayed 1 week in the neighborhood and were happy, after a long flight, to get a massage - the first massage was ok, left us relaxed with good feeling. When we went the second time, each of us - with different masseuses were not only disappointed, but also pained and hurt. The ladies felt completley unprofessional and insensitiv, spend much too much force, did not ease the touch when asked for, left some pain still 1 week after the appointment. I know, that the workers get exchanged frequently, but the shop owner should test and experience the qualification of her workers.....

Very good Thai massage for a competitive price with a lot stretch at the end! Good atmosphere and very nice staff , I had person named Wawah for massage, I recommend this place definitely!!!

The spa center recommended the therapist when I made an appointment the day before, then they left a card in front of the hotel room to confirm the appointment time and the name of the therapist.

However, they changed my therapist without my permission or any prior notice when I showed up for my appointment.

Can't believe that they have the policy that 100% fee would be charged as penalty if the customers don't show up for the appointment. And they can change your appointment wether you like it or not. Hope they can improve their service and employees training. In the meantime, the policy should be more fair to the customers.

I had a lymphatic drainage massage (upon recommendation from the spa it’s good for water retention and relaxation) and a facial. I felt awful after the massage and still do 3 days later. Having researched lymphatic drainage massage - it comes with various warnings, none of which the spa made me aware of. The facial involved a needle which also wasn’t forewarned. Overall not a good experience.

Travel weary and with back and neck tension I was looking for the perfect massage to stretch out and relax the muscles and get rid of the knots. I tried Sabai Thai massage and was very glad I did. I opted for a 60min combination oil and Thai massage and was allocated Petch, - an extremely capable and professional masseuse. I have had many massages before in different parts of the World but this rates as one of the absolute best! The combination of stretching, joint resetting and muscle massage was perfect and completely eliminated all my aches and pains.
The premises are quite small, with a few armchairs for foot massage in the front and two massage tables with privacy curtains at the back (same room). However the place is nicely decorated and fitted out with mood lighting and quality towels and oils. The temperature was also good; - a mistake often made in other placees which are over air-conditioned.
To cap it all the price was very reasonanble and well worth it in my opinion.
If you just want a great massage and are not interested in the glitz and glamour of huge spa with lots of facilities (that you likely won't use), give Sabai Thai on Tung Street a try. It's a 5min walk from Sheung Wan.

Coming from oversea, it is pretty challenging and difficult to find a good and relaxing massage. After a couple of bad experience, chance upon butterfly spa. The contact person was prompt in the appointment reply through whatsapp and after service, and the masseuse lady i was assigned with is skilful and all the staff are polite. Highly recommend to those seeking a gpod and relaxing time.

Quick, easy, fairly inexpensive (for Central Hong Kong!) with great staff. GREAT location (right near the Central escalator) literally an in and out, waxing is professional, clean, hygienic. Your typical pedicure/manicure. They also offer combo skin/nails or skin/waxing etc., - to suit all your needs and discounted! Recommended.
