Little airport whiteout to much shopping options or restaurants. But working effectively.
Try not to use this place, especially LOT Polish airlines very disorganized and they denied boarding my wife for no apparent reason due to a simple last name change due to us being married even tho this was just a return trip back home to the US, we had all proper documentation was traveling on advanced parole but the people there really were messed up. We were first in line and they made us be last almost missed our flight, they would not board us and I had to basically threaten them and yell at them for them to board my wife and family so we can return back home, it was a complete nightmare will never ever use LOT Polish airlines and try to avoid this dumb airport if possible

Incompetence at the fullest. The baggage check-in is unruly, the crowd crushes itself and you, and I had to unpack my onboard baggage on top of a trashbin, because there were no countertops. When you check in, and go through the security check, there will be absolutely no places to sit down, unless you buy a blood-boilingly expensive coffee.
The gate numbers are withheld for so long, you'll be bored out of your mind. When boarding, the infoplace dude asked around whether Serbia and Croatia were EU-members.

We love Liszt Ferenc Airport is a modern, well-equipped airport that offers a great travel experience. The airport is clean and spacious, with plenty of seating and charging stations. There are also a number of restaurants, bars, and shops to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the airport is easy to navigate. Overall, Liszt Ferenc Airport is a great option for travelers flying to or from Budapest.
Really clean and staff were very helpful. Multiple food and retail outlets within. The shopping and food halls even on two levels were small. Insufficient possibly to distract children. Although there a few children's play areas. Lovely airport, would certainly recommend.

One of those cozy and highly efficient airports. Everything was so smooth. They even give real time processing times to security checks and walking times to boarding gates. Has a decent food court and good connections. If you find a transit from here, do take it, highly recommended.

This conection not exist. This flibco bus do not have any information where is bus station in Budapest airport. No one never see flibco bus. If you chceck pictures is no info about flibco on the bus station but google map show that is there. Why is still on google search to travel conection?
Big airport, it has 2 terminals A and B, it is under renovation. The service is fast. I liked it

BUD airport is great! There are lots of nice shops with local items to purchase. There are many choices of food options throughout. Also, very clean bathrooms, good visit!
The general area was a bit crowded, but security was efficient (once they walk you down 10 empty rows of lane dividers). Always great food. Nice to have a small grocery store (bottom level 2B). Hit or miss as to the service of the different airlines.
Seriously, arriving to stand in the taxi queue Forever. How can it be this badly organized? Flight arrives super late and the only option is to get on the public transport. Tip of advice, if you arrive in the period this review was written.please pre-book a taxi for your arrival.
8 years ago I was not very impressed with this place but today was a totally different experience. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The place is super clean and well kept. Really glad I chose this airport over other European layover airports.

Waiting for boarding for more than 20 minute in something like warehouse without even a chair for the oldest people.
This where you can take bus 100E or 200E to the city centre. For tickets, there are several machines, and also a counter inside. At busy times, often there are staff from the public transport company to help buy tickets. With 100E, you can reach the city centre (Deak ter), it needs a special ticket for 3€. With 200E, you can reach the Metro line M3 at Kőbánya-Kispest (terminal of the bus) with 'normal tickets' for 1€. I wish there would be more detailed information for tourists.
