Best Turkish restaurants in Hungary

A good spot to grab a midnight kebab.
The staff is welcoming and assisting as they also speak English so as a tourist it was nice.
They take into consideration your order if you want to add or remove something from your dish.
They have outside seating and is accessible for pedestrian tourist.
They also accept card payments and you feel safe in this area even being solo and during midnight on a weekday.

During the day there was a nice guy there, the food was fresh, and it was a solid 3. At night the people were complete jerks, microwaved the food, and charged me for twice what I ordered. It was gross.

If you are used to great kebab, please don’t go there!

I would not eat it if offered for free

The staffs understands English and is very fluent to speak. Tried their gyros platter version for 2700 forint and it’s more than enough for one person. Also found them keeping their restaurant open even at 3am which is super convenient at times ✨
They can also add spice sauce if you ask for it. Would recommend 10/10👏🏻

Unfortunately the kebabs were not super tasty or flavorful. They also did not heat up the pita that warm. The food is not horrible but I would recommend trying another kebab place if you can.

During our stay in Budapest, we'd eat here every day. Perfect for a quick bite and just chilling in front for a bit. Good, affordable food, also friendly staff! Definetly would recommend.

I ordered online a big gyros with extras but I got a small one without extras.

We took chicken soup, lentil soup, moussaka and bread. Everything was delicious, the service is fast and they have a varied menu and a hot spot. As a drawback, I can only point to the reheating of some of the products in the microwave.

Extremely unwelcoming staff, only the cleaning person was nice.

The food was served out of the microwave, yet it was cold and did not taste great at all. I can not explain why there are so many good reviews.

Cooking area was very dirty and they were coughing without covering their mouth directly towards the food/ingredients. I also do not understand why there are 4 persons behind the counter anyways, because they just stood in the way of each other.

I can not recommend anyone to go there.

Die Jungs stehen an der Theke und spielen mit Ihren Handys anstatt die schmutzigen Tische zu säubern. Nudeln die geschmacklich miserabel waren, plus eine Cola hatten einen stolzen Preis von 3500 Fl, also über 9.50€. Vermeidet diesen Sauladen.

I ordered take-out for lunch break. Received a piece of fried fish, rock-hard, cold, barely can find fish. A portion of cold old soggy rice. This is also a "Turkish" restaurant that does not serve any beef or lamb. Landmine restaurant. Definitely avoid

Delicious chicken gyro! Slightly spicy but good. Courteous staff, who speaks English. Excellent value for the price. Opens late.

Not the best food me and my partner got the same thing but he had salads in his and I didn’t get one in mine and had to order a salad separately. The meat is really salty and it would have been better to customise it yourself however there was a very strong language barrier. The person serving didn’t seem friendly so I didn’t even want to ask for that option as I felt very rushed during the ordering process. Inside was really wet from what I could only assume was the bathroom. I would say this would be good if you were ordering it after a night out.

This place is pretty okay for being a late night place in front of the train station, it's not expensive but neither cheap, the service was nice but not outstanding, the cleanness of the restaurant is not the best but just alright for eating something when you need it, so in a nutshell, I wouldn't come here for the experience, just to eat something good and for the go.

There are a ton of kebab stands in the area and most of them are either fine or hit and miss. As a doner or kebab goes this is definitely the best in the area. Plus there's wifi and the staff is generally friendly.

That said, their felafel is not great. They just microwave three not homemade pieces. The bathrooms can also sometimes be not as clean as you'd like.
