honestly, the food is not worth the price. 🙏

my order:
- iced lemon tea 25k: just average, the taste is okay as you would expect lemon tea
- momo (chicken thigh) 26k: very expensive for what you get, size is just medium, the seasoning is too salty and the meat is dry
- yakiniku don 95k: the ratio of rice, toppings (bell peppers) and beef was completely off. too much rice and bell peppers, only a few pieces of beef on top. too overpriced for what you get

ambience: good and a nice place to chat with friends because of the privacy of the tables. but the food is just meh and i feel like i didn’t get my money’s worth. but the lighting is a bit dark.

cleanliness: toilet cleanliness is good, but there were ants in some of the condiments on the table so i didn’t use them

Daitokyo Sakaba is located in Blok M Square area.
It's a Japanese restaurant specialty in Tori and BBQ.
Price is standard Japanese resto.
All the food is OK, but not special, and the soup is super salty.
The waitress is helpful and friendly.
The table is separate in cubicle, so it's quite private.
The tori and BBQ are good.
But the food took some time before it was served.

They have various menu that can fit almost everyone's taste and likes. I went here with my family, and all the food that came look really good!

Anyway, I quite like the spicy ramen. It's not too overwhelming but it got spicy kick to it, the chicken chashu was also really good and smokey (the vegetable mixed into the ramen was also smokey and it was nice).

Location near main road. If you go on holiday or weekend the parking lot hard to find and long waiting list. Ambience like real Japanese izakaya. They serve pork and beer. Taste good, but little pricey.

This Japanese yakitori place is a standout, especially the Gyutan Don, which is exceptionally delicious. Perfect to match with those flavorful grilled skewers.

I was interested in having lunch here because they have okonomiyaki on their menu. it tastes delicious and savory. It would be better if there was more sauce. I also ordered sasimi salad, Miso soup and California sushi roll. everything is delicious, nothing is bad.

The restaurant atmosphere is also comfortable. Suitable for a casual meal alone or with a group of people.

One thing that makes me a little less comfortable is their attention. Normally, waiters ask customers if they would like their drinks refilled when they pass by or are delivering food to another table. the day I visited, I had to call the waiter/waitress to ask them to refill my Ocha.

If I was asked if I would come back, InshaAllah, I would come back to visit ZENBU because I like their food

Didn’t expected very much but surprisingly the food and ambience was superb. We ordered Buta Kakuni Tonkotsu, Tan Shio Garlic Butter and Buta Spare Ribs. Amazed with the Buta Spare Ribs cause it was so good!

I'm a regular at Daitokyo Sakaba in Blok M, mainly for their irresistible Tan Shio Garlic Butter Ramen. It's my favorite! But let's not forget about their Yakitori – it's equally delicious and definitely worth trying.

Quick service, fantastic flavors, and a friendly vibe – this place is a gem for anyone who loves a taste of Tokyo in Jakarta.

I don't really know how authentic the taste is, but for me it's really good, every menu I've ordered taste delicious. Plus point, the foods are very cheap. Very very worth to try.

There is a waiting list at first, then we can order after they call. The foods are mostly delicious, but I got unpleasant moment because a cockroach just fell closed to my friend's drink. Please maintain the building hygiene. Overall is ok, I guess.

I was staying in Orient and a friend recommended me to try this place. I ordered clam as starter and taste really good, if you like butter taster then dont skip this one. Then I ordered kaisen chirashi, super like this one, its just simple sashime on top of rice and feels so fresh. Overall its recommended. Staffs is also attentive and service is good.

Not first time coming here, but always have a great experience..
The menu is variative, there should be something that fits ur palette. My favorite is of course Mozaru, with a nice warm chawanmushi for appetizer. Staff is very professional and amicable, we don't have to wait long even though it's a full house. Overall very recommended

Feels like in the hecticness of Izakaya. Thematic vibe, but I'm more into serene chill down one. The menu is super various, a lot of options and you can find the authentic kind like Nikujyaga which is hard to find in a reguler Fast Food Chain or basic Japanese theme food outlet. They serve liquor of course, cocktail, sake is available. The service is good. Not warm, more like fast and efficient.

This place is a gem among the Japanese restaurants in Jakarta! I popped in for lunch, and luckily, it wasn't too crowded. The service was swift and friendly. They offer a wide variety of dishes, and I personally thought the portions were quite generous for one person (though everyone's appetite is different). I'll definitely return to explore more of their menu next time.

Affordable, intimate & small space, nonhalal (mirin but no pork & lard), food was just ok. Gets quite packed during meal hours, wouldn’t recommend for big groups (>6 people). Chairs & tatami seating options available.

First, I haven't thought about reviewing here because it wasn't planned. For the second time here and ordering the same menu and I decided to review the food at Bushido. I ordered Katsu Curry Rice and it comes with compliment chawanmushi, The portion is huge, the taste is good and consistent. I named it as the best Katsu Curry Rice in town.. BRAVO..!!!

Udah lama mau cobain ini baru kesampean sekarang. Tempatnya di Orient Hotel (great hotel btw).

We ordered:
- Chicken Nanban (140k): one of THE BEST in town. 5 thumbs up.
- Spicy Salmon Mentai Roll (168k): great taste, 6 slices. Too expensive.
- Salmon Sashimi (104k): too expensive. Porsinya sama kaya Sushi Te* tapi harganya 2.5x lipat.
- Chawanmushi (50k): too plain, not great. Again, too expensive for that quality.
- Genmaicha/Cold Ocha (15k): canmot really taste the greentea

easily one of the few restaurants with best service quality I've ever experienced! came here with the whole family during lunch time on public holiday, but still got the best service and the food is served quite fast...or could also be the buzzing but calm ambiance that made us feel that the waiting time is enjoyable. they also gave us complementary fruit platter, adorned with a little welcome note on top. and if you come there on your birthday, they will give you a small birthday mozaru??that's just as good as their signature mozaru. absolutely enjoyed my time there and would not hesitate to come back if i want to eat deliciously and heartily. plus i have yet to try their sushi.

if you go to zenbu, their signature mozaru meals are definitely the most recommended dish! my personal best is salmon mozaru with mentai sauce. drinks are on a bit of the expensive side, but ocha is free flow. their veggies teppan was also good, very appetizing, served hot and sizzling on a pan. omurice and appetizers are ok but could be better. Overall I would still recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a good time and happy tummy. :)

An alternative japanese cuisine in Senopati area, if you want an intimate, quite, and quickly served lunch/dinner.

I often eat here during lunchtime. My personal comfort food is their Dry Ramen, their Truffle Gyudon is also a favorite. Their foods are cooked fresh, tasted good, quickly served, good portioned.

Their price is reasonable for their excellent food quality. Not cheap, but still affordable.

Must visit if you want to eat japanese food and steer away from the crowd!

Another authentic Japanese restaurant / Izakaya. Taste great, attentive service, well priced menu. Better reserve first and on 2nd floor they have many wooden floor dining room for more private / family occassion.

I went here for a lunch meeting and we ordered a bunch of stuff! I The salmon sashimi, the okonomiyaki, chicken namban, tempura moriwase, agedashi tofu, beef gyoza, cream cheese okaka, chuka wakame, vegetable salad, dragon roll sushi, spicy salmon mentai roll, matcha ice cream, burnt cheesecake and more (i don’t remember it all 💀). In particular, we ordered 11 portions of the salmon sashimi and it was great! I really enjoyed it, I don’t think it melts into your mouth or anything. Some of my favorites are definitely the salmon sashimi (I ate lots of it lol), chuka wakame, dragon sushi roll, matcha ice cream, and chicken nanban. The one K didn’t quite enjoyed is the cream cheese okaka. The rest is alright, nothing too special. Price wise it’s on the pricer side but it was a lunch meeting hence free (for me). I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area! Just a little heads up that it’s crowded during lunch so the service might be a little slow and it’s better to order everything at once so you don’t have to wait alot!

My first visit after so many recommendations eventually prove the rumors about this place. Their lunch set is affordable that comes in generous portion with side dishes, fruits, and ocha.

The exterior and interior designs are exquisite, combined with a Japanese hospitality and ambience that greet me warmly.

Surely will go back for another time!

Loving the sashimi salad n sushi! Mayo tastes bold n yummy 😋 and also chicken katsu with cheese taste good.. for the drink, I recommend strawberry mojito, coz its so fresh n delicate! 😊

Food not that fresh, takes so long for food to arrive, tastes mid. Staff not that friendly, pelayan kurang totokromo, mending sushi hiro harga segini!!

Food was good, they have many dishes to choose from.

There is a waiting list that you need to put your name and phone number, the staff will call you if the table is available.

This was because there is no room to wait upstairs in the restaurant instead you have to wait outside.

The place is relatively small, its air conditioned but its fairly hot inside, oh and you can smoke indoors.

The price is relatively affordable, i think thats one of the reason why this place is always packed.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying some of the most exceptional sushi I’ve ever had in my life. The ambiance of the restaurant was truly remarkable, creating an unforgettable dining atmosphere. The service provided was top-notch, leaving no room for improvement. I couldn’t resist trying the shrimp tempura and ede mama Ebi sushi, and they both exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. Overall, it was an outstanding culinary experience that I highly recommend to any sushi enthusiast.

Real authentic Japanese food.

Place was decorated similar to a traditional japanese restaurant, but fret not since you can sit comfortably since they modified it.
They offer menus which are quite special since there are a lot of them. Some weren't really known generally but again, be at ease since the waitresses are always ready if you have any queries.
The cooking process was also done quite quick, averaging from 5-15 minutes only. The waitress will also notice you before on the menu which will take a long time.
The cons was the air conditioner for me. I was sweating a bit since there were a lot of customers and the ac didn't seem to be working well.

My comfort sushi place. Good selection of menu, and their fish always tastes fresh compared to other more expensive sushi places in the area. Service is good and it's a nice quiet place to have a good conversation.

Classic gem that stood the time. The place definitely has that old school feel to it.

Food on the other hand, was catered mostly for Japanese expats. This means flavors can be considered bland for Indonesian standard.

It's an affordable izakaya concept restaurant located in the Blok M area. To get to the restaurant area, you have to climb a somewhat steep and narrow staircase. But once inside, the space is quite large with various seating areas. If it's crowded, the air inside can be a bit stuffy because the AC isn't very cold, so it's best not to come here during peak meal times. The menu is almost all priced the same and is very affordable, making it a popular spot for young people. It's more enjoyable to come here in a group so you can try many dishes without getting too full. The service is quick, while the taste of the food is not particularly outstanding.

I went here for lunch. I ordered

1. Chicken mozaru with dynamite and butter sauce (4/5)
2. Beef teppanyaki with gomadare sauce (4/5)

Good for family and friends. Have baby chair. Definitely will come back to this place. Staffs were friendly. Services quite slow. This restaurant might get crowded during lunch time especially on the weekend.

CONCLUSION = RECOMMENDED!!!

Pilihan makanan lumayan banyak. Taste good but a little bit pricey. Service is bad, makanannya lama banget datangnya. Waiters tell us to wait for 15 minutes but the food is actually served 30-40 minutes later. Not worth the money.

We had dinner at this modern Japanese resto.. the appetizer, cawan musi and salmon salad were the best. We had fusion sushi for the main course, i think i should try the classic one if there's a chance for me to come back here again. The last one was desert, matcha ice cream and strawberry marsmallow ice cream..yummy.. matcha ice cream will never dissapoint your day.

I love the resto's ambience, not too bright. The food price quite reasonable and delicious. And for muslim dont worry, the resto has been certified as Halal.
Parking space is limited, but they have vallet parking service.

.. went there for lunch with friends on a weekday in March 2022.. we went on foot and had to cross the Sudirman road via underpass through the MRT station before entering the Grand Sahid Hotel in which Bushido is located on its ground floor..

For its price of IDR 138K (not including VAT yet) their lunch bento is much better than in other common Japanese places I have been. It is more worth for the price.

For my first time here I was recommended the Lunch Set D, which comes with a Cawanmushi (good taste), and Salmon & Chicken Teriyaki Bento. You can choose the dessert to be either vanilla ice cream, coffee, or iced coffee.

I chose the ice cream and loved it. It came with a certain (apple? sauce) and I wish I could add another portion 😅..

I was impressed to see that the Japanese chef still silently and diligently cleaned and made up the tables after some guests left the table after lunch. The waitresses are quite senior you can tell from their appearances, so I believe they work there for quite some time and can advise you well which dish to take. They did explain to me which dish is recommended and I finally chose my friend's recommendation..

We stayed there from 1200ish till almost 1400 hrs, so we learned that the place does close at 1400 hrs and will reopen daily at 1700 hrs for dinner. (This is quite common for other Japanese restaurants, too). Good for us who did not do any reservations that when we arrived the place was still not fully occupied but at 1230 you will find it being quite full with guests.

I can't review how to park here since we went here on foot.
This place is nice, I believe I will go here again.

Ordering the vanilla ice cream, sadly there was no orange jam this time because it was used up and they didn't make any new yet..

First time I came here, I thought it will be the same as other sushi restaurant in Senopati (mostly expensive) but then I saw the menu book, I think it's one of the best restaurant in Senopati (imho). Why?

The price is waaay cheaper than others, really worth it and of course so delicious. The ambiance really nice, no people talking so loud.

So sad one of my fav menu (yakitori) is no longer available :((

Sushi Matsu never disappoint me!

Usually visit the BSD outlet, today on our way to Blok M we decide to have lunch here.

Covid-19 protocols was well-maintained. Place clean and neat with dimmed-light setup. But still comfortable to attend.

And as usual, the fish quite fresh and thick also large compare to several competitor. That made us loyal to them.

Mistaken this place as the same brand with the sushi joint in BSD. But it was a nice try. I personally like their unagi sushi. Fresh, dense, smooth and naturally tasty. Hubby tried their recommended gyutan don with truffle sauce. We couldn't taste the difference that truffle made. But overall a nice experience. Especially they serve free ice cream for those who gives rating and writes a review at Zomato.

Pricey indeed. But it's worth to try once.

Top Japaness Food. The servants really professionals and experienced👍👍. I eat Bento with Salmon and chicken fried...delicious poollllll. I like it. My friends also eat Bento. Bushido give us big portions for all menu...feel satiated 😁
