Love the view and live band. The place is clean, friendly staff and good service. Must book this place in advanced as it is always full.

Good staffs' manner, fast & responsive service, delicious food, which was beyond expectation despite their not too expensive price. Even the expensive Tabasco sauce was available when asked during the food order (no need to ask it twice).

No digital menu using QR which implemented by some restaurants which makes you to see the menu on your small phone screen.. ^^

A variety of foods were also adequate.
The waiter has a good knowledge of their products when asked which drink is the most suitable for a bloated stomach.
The recommended Citroen Tea (after recommended other drinks) was selected and perfectly suited to ease the bloated stomach prior to eating the soup.

Big tissue came along with a fork and knife for the steak.
Their specialty sirloin steak also as per ordered (medium well done). Juicy and tasty.
The waiter really has a knowledge table manner by ensuring the plate has a right facing for proper eating.
Load of French Fries or Potato Wedges to accompany the steak! Superb! 👍🏼

The "Meat Lovers" (thin) pizza was also delicious. You could ask to exclude paprika and onion if you don't want it in your "carnivore" pizza.
The zuppa soup was also very delicious.

French Fries side dish is also top notch with taste and quantity.

Live music and a beautiful view were there and completed the good atmosphere.

You and your friends/family could have a very good time and delicious foods here.

The location is also near the street and easily reached out despite the vehicle needing to climb up a high degree of incline to park it.

Enjoy!

Couldn’t recommend more, staff extra friendly and helpful. Foods taste great at fair price, ambience is very relaxing for your weekend with families. Children friendly (it has small playground). Definitely would visit again. For my fellow carnivores I recommend lamb chop 👍

Uphill restaurant, great view. Delicious foods, nice ambience. Fast service, customers are mostly Malaysians.
Visited on 10 Feb 2024 ✅ had dinners there. The staff is friendly, food delicious and live band is amazing! Good service ✅
What a beautiful restaurant! Hidden away in the Ubud city we found it by walking past and it was already shut for the day so we came back the next day!

It’s a plant based degustation and I was so amazed by how delicate and detailed all the dishes were made.

Every dish was amazing and I wish if I had a restaurant like this in my country!

Warm and friendly service, nice natural and clean atmosphere and amazing food. I would highly recommend it for everyone! It’s an experience you can’t have, don’t miss out!

Thanks to all the team, we absolutely loved it ❤️❤️
I had the chance to go to Herbivore and experienced the full plants based menu.

What an amazing experience, in a beautiful venue. Chef Arnaud was there to explain to us the menu before going back to the kitchen. His team explained every deash to us, the variety of taste is sublime.
If want want to be surprised by a plant Menu this is the place note: 11/10

Thanks to all the team of Herbivore and congratulation on the amazing job you are doing

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious flavors at Kubu restaurant, though I wished for more generous portions. The staff's phenomenal service and the magical atmosphere with a captivating view made it a memorable dining experience overall. The steak was wonderful!

The Kubu restaurant is located in the Mandapa Ritz Carlton Reserve and offers a wonderful dinning setup in a cocoon with view on the Ayung river.

Outstanding 11 courses, excellent explanations about the food, super friendly and helpful service. Good value for the money with 120 USD per set.

Outside guests are welcome, I highly recommend that place.

Unfortunately they not participate at Marriott-Bonvoy program.
We were at their Sunday Brunch last weekend. And was blown away with the outstanding service and the restaurant location. Kudos to the service staff, with special mention to Yoga. Besides the myriad of dishes from the buffet spread, there were also ala-carte dishes to choose from. We were plied non-stop with the menu dishes and drinks. The oysters were the biggest that I have seen so far! And the appetiser dishes and the mocktails were delicious. Was too full and was not able to sample their main dishes 😅. The brunch was certainly the highlight of my Nusa Dua trip. Keep up the good work. 👍

An absolute must visit for fine dining lovers.

This restaurant offers an exceptional menu. We decided on the signature menu with beverage pairing.
I highly recommend the pairing as 3 out of 8 courses were served with a cocktail that lifted flavours like no wine could have.
The service was impeccable with high attentiveness but without intrusion- just what you want.
I can't even start talking food, too good. As food connoisseur we were extremely satisfied by flavour and outstanding technique.
This restaurant, if located in Europe, would be on the Michelin 2 star list.

Restaurant Kubu at Mandapa is a beautiful quiet serene place with a lovely view on the river.
We had the most perfect 11 course dinner with a truly wonderful accompanying wine arrangement. The chef cook from Kubu is one of kind, never tasted such wonderful original dishes. All the dishes were just more than perfect of taste and looked outstanding.
Everything at Kubu (overall Mandapa) is so perfectly taken care of. The architecture, the interior and outdoor decoration, the gardens, the Ambar Ubud Bar, the pool and an outstanding staff and service.
The cocoon we were be seated at at Kubu, was truly beautiful and very private and wonderful music was playing.
We were served by the wonderful genuine interested and very friendly and professional David and other very friendly professional staff.
We would highly recommend this wonderful special outstanding restaurant in a very quiet place with a perfect view on the river in Ubud.
The recently renovated Locavore is now the sensational plant based dining experience Herbivore and is superb. Under the leadership of Frenchmen Chef Arnaud, who is seen as one of the top plant based chefs in Asia you are in for a great night out! His team delivers a delicious performance with each dish being unique and an amazing combination of flavours and colours! The matching drinks are beautifully presented and again full of flavours and style! The dining room is elegantly decorated with the service team being the perfect hosts and superbly trained. Overall the experience is brilliant and great value when you compare to many international cities offerings. Make sure you book well in advance for this very special occasion…..🥂

Herbivore is more than a restaurant, it's an art exhibition for your taste buds. We were blown away by the powerful flavors that came with each unique dish. As an expat, I could recognize various inspirations from Indonesian and Southeast Asian cuisine, and was impressed how each dish took those flavor concepts to a new level. The sorbet for dessert was particularly good.

I sometimes preferred the flavors of the non-alcoholic drink pairings over the alcoholic ones, but the Arak served at the end was the best I've had in my 8 years in Indonesia. Highly recommend!
Amazing food, amazing presentation and amazing and friendly staff. The food is delicious and cooked to perfection. In Bali you won't get better than this !

Food was good, classic but not inventive. Would be great to see more Balinese ingredients showcased with classic technique. Service & pace of the meal was painfully slow - 2 hours in and only 4 (tiny snack courses) of the 11 courses had been served (and we did ask, twice, for the pace to be picked up). Total dinner was 4 hours + . Also if you can’t keep up water / wine service, leave the ice bucket by the table. Overall despite nice food, it was a disappointing and frustrating meal. I’d suggest trying herbivore, room 4 dessert or mozaic instead. If you do go, and you’re not staying at the hotel, make sure to get a table before it gets dark as the surrounding are beautiful.
Definitely would deserve 10 stars.
We had a fantastic experience!
We had the long menu, it says 7 courses but we counted 14 delicious dishes.
The recipes are original, meticulously crafted, using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. We were happy to discover new flavors!
Vegans and non vegans loved the flavors and textures. What a treat and a feast for the eyes as well!
We were impressed by the mocktails, as well as the whole tea experience, which is worth a try.
Service was attentive without being over the top, friendly and professional.
Definitely a must try if you’re in Ubud.

Some of the best food we've had in bali - each dish lovingly cooked to perfection, ingredients were exquisite. Service levels were far beyond expectations.
Had their Sunday Brunch a few years back. Arguably the best in Bali. I visited here again last night for Christmas Eve's dinner with my bule family as well. The Xmas 🎄 decor and ambiance were perfect. I wanted to highlight the mas waiter that tends to our table and fulfill our requests always with a smile and great attitude.

I had Indonesian Oxtail Soup & Margherita Pizza with a bottle of local wine. Absolutely great pair. I tried my wife's ribeye steak, which was delicious as well. Snapper and or fresh catch of the ocean was grilled to perfection. Definitely my fave restaurant in Mulia Bali. If you stay in The Mulia or Resort you can ask the buggy to pick you up or drop you off at the roundabout.
Very weird experience. The main restaurant, Nusa, doesn’t really seem to exist. There is a much cheaper restaurant called Warung Pasta, which is what seems to get the business. When we paid at the end, the receipt had the pasta restaurant name on it.

I also believe a lot of the recent reviews of Nusa are incorrect because you can’t pay 1.5Mil per person minimum and write a 2 word review like ‘great food’, it doesn’t add up.

We went as a couple and paid around 3Million. We were in a room by ourselves as the only customers for Nusa, the rest were for the pasta place, who were paying more than 10 times less than us. It seems like the restaurant is using its positive reputation from the past to hook tourists into paying large amounts for an experience which does not live up to the price.

Overall very disappointed and felt it’s very lazy by the restaurant owners. There were only 2 of us so they could have made more effort like a visit from the chef or a bit more time to explain the dishes and the story of the food but everything seemed heartless and we did not have a fun experience.
Came here to have year end dinner with a group of 6, they seated us on the dining table at the corner of the room (not near the window) but overall it was the best dinner I’ve ever had for 2023.

All food was delicious, from western to Indonesian, it was top notch. Fried mushroom, croquette, fried calamari and mushroom soup was our entree and all of them was tasty. My favorite was the Truffle Ravioli, which took so long to be ready but understood because apparently it was the highlight of my dinner. The truffle was aromatic and the ravioli itself was so soft it melts in your mouth. Desserts was okay, we are particularly mindblowned by the food. Would recommend and come again if there is something worth to celebrate (since the price was pricy but it was worth it!).

Sunday brunch. Main pluses are the service and atmosphere, food is mid to disappointing all around. Of course the pool is extremely magnificent. Saw a bunch of flies on the seafood tower, ordered a medium rare steak that came well done. French toast was nice though.

For one of the most highly rated buffets in bali, expected higher quality food. Skip unless forced to go.
Sunday soiree Sofia at the Gunawarman.
One of the most excellent venue with classic design, high ceiling & lots of windows, means good lighting!

Serving not only western but also asian cuisine. The venue has a breathtaking atmosphere, perfect for brunch & dinner!

We came for dinner on a Thursday evening, we were the only table at the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is great, the service was slow. The food was good, I especially enjoyed tahu telur and the smoked duck breast.
everything about this place is amazing, though the food was pricey, i find it worth it cus the atmosphere is amazing.

Absolutely the best restaurant in ubud. Beautiful view, wonderful food and careful service.
One of the best buffets i have ever had.
The great first. Place is stunning for décor, service and atmosphere. Price as high as it is is very worth it in my opinion. Anything from the menu was world class both in presentation and taste. Including the Foie gras and the creme brulee Foie gras. The Duck confee and lamb chop were insanely good. Simply Devine. The cheese station and carving meat station especially the lamb shawarma were heavenly. Special thanks to Adit from the front desk that has an incredible smile and the best communication skills. He showed me to the restaurant since I was lost. Such an amazing person with warm personality.
Now for the items that need major improvement.
All the deserts ware very bland and poorly made. They all look great in photos but taste not good at all.
Biggest fail ware the crab legs. They were cold and all overcooked. I tried a few but non can be eaten and the meat in all of them crumbled and was inedible. The shrimp as well was very large and overcooked. The coffee drinks ware great. Sadly the juices were not fresh. All came from cans and store bought. Easily fixed

Overall its still an amazing place to have brunch. The team made every effort to make peoples birthdays fun and memorable. Thank you.

Actually, this place is a kind of nice place to visit & have a dine in meal, but it's specially for evening hours.. For a daylight time, it's a fine place enough. The meals are good enough, more choices of western or modern menu offers. The service is good. Parking area is limited for cars.

An evening at Blanco Par Mandif was a culinary odyssey! Chef Mandif M. Warokka's innovative Indonesian cuisine is nothing short of spectacular, the dinner was a feast for the senses.

It began with a unique touch – the handwashing ceremony. Instead of the conventional warm towel, they elevate this routine into a refined ritual 💅, setting the tone for the exceptional evening ahead.

We tried the tasting menu. You can see that each dish was a testament to the chef's meticulous craftsmanship and dedication to culinary excellence. But 2 standout stars are the "14 Days Aged Smoked Duck Breast" and the "Signature Getug 6.0 A MUST TRY!!!!

The service at Blanco Par Mandif was nothing short of exceptional. The attention to detail, from the timing of each course to the knowledge of the menu, was nothing short of phenomenal. The seamless orchestration of the evening's proceedings added to the overall charm of the dining experience.

For anyone seeking the pinnacle of progressive Indonesian dining, Blanco Par Mandif is a must-visit destination 👏👏👏👏
I don’t really see the hype about this place. Portions were small, food average, booking process very difficult (and in the end my dietary requirements were forgotten anyway). Prices are disproportionately high 100USD for an uninspired 5 course menu). Steven was a fantastic waiter though.

I’m kinda puzzled by how they manage to make food resemble objects but still keep it tasting amazing. Go ahead and give it a whirl!
Amazing. Food? or Art? Looked so beautiful, we almost didn’t have the heart to eat them. And they tasted awesome, too.

The ambiance of the restaurant was very Indonesian-influenced and really gorgeous.

Never fail to impress! Unique FUN dining, worthy to get michelin star ⭐️
Thanks chef Andrian for being so creative and consistent from the taste even to the price! Don’t get me wrong, everything is gone up now but this restaurant still putting the same price as 6 years ago!
I’ll see you next time Namaaz!! 🥰
One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. The tasting menu was a perfect way to discover Indonesian cuisine cooked at a Michelin level. An amazing blend of western and Indonesian cooking techniques.

I really appreciated the way the dishes were brought and presented. Each dish is carefully thought out, beautiful and delicious.

The service was professional, warm and the attention to detail was phenomenal.

The waitstaff were kind enough to kindly offer to call a taxi after the meal. Again, the attention to detail was really appreciated.
Hands down the most aesthetically pleasing casual dining restaurant in South Jakarta. The interior giving 18th century Parisian vibes, and also it's smells so good everywhere. However, the food is not as good as i expected. My ragout was way too salty. The mocktail serving was like 70% ice. The price without question is really pricey with additional tax and service charges.
I would gladly comeback to this restaurant solely because the atmosphere, until then, hope they fix the food.
Fabulous dinner experience at Embers. Service was warm and attentive. Innovative menu with options suitable for every taste and dietary preference. Particular care was given to the vegetarian options, which were flavorful and fun. Everything was BEAUTIFULLY plated. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner. ☺️
A very traditional feel restaurant with elevated experience of Indonesian cuisine from many different cuisine root of the country. While some might not feel the best to my tastebud, I really enjoy the experience, especially the Klepon!

Overall, it is very disappointing experience.

First of all, the experience after entering the restaurant was very bad. After a waiter took me to sit down, she walked back to the service desk and looked at you while discussing you with other waiters. It was very rude!

Secondly, the overall taste of the dishes is very ordinary, mainly gimmicks. Several dishes are salty, including the oyster mushrooms, cold and hot tomatoes, etc. Compared with the Michelin restaurant I have eaten before, the ingredients in this restaurant are relatively cheap.

Finally, from the perspective of price, it is not worth it. I added pairing drinks, the price is about 140 US dollars, and there are extra 35 US of taxes and service fees. It is hard to imagine how such a level ranks in the list of the top 50 restaurants in Asia.

Beautiful restaurant & a huge selection of dishes at their Sunday Brunch Buffet!

There are so many food options: from the big buffet to a long list of à la carte dishes (all included!). But I’d advise not to order/take too much food because, in our case, the staff brought many random dishes to the table when we were at the buffet. When we asked about them, they said it was for us to try the dishes. We didn’t mind it and were happy to try them, but if that’s not your thing, I’m sure you can ask them not to do that.

The food itself was mostly pretty good! What stood out for us were the oysters (they were huge!!) and the appetisers and desserts, which were all really tasty. Most of the mains were just alright though.

The service is a little messy because it’s a very busy place, but everyone was friendly :)

It’s quite expensive compared to other restaurants in Bali (we paid ~110AUD/pp), but you do get a huge selection of food!
Beautifully plated foods, but I must say foods here are good but not that amazingly good iykwim. Does it worth for it’s price ? Maybe a slight no, but if you want to experience some luxurious dining experience / some “atas” feelings, well please come. Services are excellent! Popular among expats and “important” guests.
Outstanding from start to finish, we booked the place a week prior. At the first sight, the place looks very classy, and when we came inside we were greeted nicely by all the waiters and waitresses. We sat, took our orders, and wait. The orders didnt took long to be served, it came one by one starting from the drinks, just perfect. The waiter also was not bothered taking picture when we asked, the foods are all absolutely delicious. Also one last thing for anyone who might want to come there anytime soon, if you compare the price of the food with the service they provided, I honestly think that it was a bargain. It is sure not that cheap, but also relatively not that expensive. This place is best!

We had an amazing breakfast during our stay at Bisma Eight! It was lovely to walk around the vegetable garden and pick our own greens to then have cooked up by the amazing chefs. All staff were extremely friendly and the service was perfect! Cannot rate highly enough :) I also have coeliac disease and was well looked after with gluten free options!

To start with the positive, the food was mostly pretty on point and the service was great.
Now, for that price point, there was a number of problems:
1. One of dish served (wing bean) was litterally uneatable in one of the plates (extremely hard, impossible to cut through). We were offered a replacement - ok
2. The lobster, same thing, extremely bland and extremely tough to cut through.
3. Idk what is going in the kitchen but we could hear somebody coughing and sneezing loudly in there the whole night (we sat there for 4h+). Very disturbing from such a place... and to add to that there was obviously a young child as well there in the kitchen or some back room, as we repeatedly heard it screaming... I mean seriously ?
4. Cocktail prepared upon request was a huge miss. Tasted like a cheap bar cocktail but in a fancy glass. I mean, Jose Cuervo as liquor to pair with fine dining, really ?

Now looking through the Google review for the restaurant, a lot of them (recent) are obviously FAKE. Have things gone downhill so far for this place that they have to go down this path ?...
Anyways. For that price point, go somewhere else in Ubud unless they manage to get their things together.

Was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, however found the whole experience pretty disappointing. I’m a designer and appreciate art, but when I’m paying for fine dining I want to be wowed by flavour and presentation. Unfortunately it seems presentation is the only thing that was considered. To top off the underwhelming experience we were slapped with a huge bill that was way more than we’d spent on anything the entire trip. Wouldn’t recommend, there are much nicer places in Ubud to eat and enjoy.
Highly recommend the escargot, it’s served in a puff pastry, reminds us of the taste of Paris. Enjoyed the escargot so much, we ordered it 3x. Also enjoyed the cheese fondue and Tom yum soup. Nice restaurant to cap off the day with wine and beer after being outside the sea and pool. Shout out to our server Chandra for taking good care of us and always being prompt with the full service.
We loved our experience at Locavore. It was a fun dining experience and the service was attentive. It was my birthday week so they gave me a cake baked in a coconut with caramelized sugar on top! My favorite was the rice with the warm egg yolk (so creamy and flavorful) and the tomato soup.

We had dinner in Soleil’s outdoor dining area on the last night of our Mulia stay. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and faces the iconic statues and the pool.

We started with Spring Rolls and Minestrone Soup. The Spring Rolls were fresh and crispy but the soup was sub par. We moved on to our mains- Margherita Pizza and Alfredo Fettuccine. Both dishes were incredibly bland with no depth. For dessert, we had pudding and ice cream, however, it also felt lacklustre.

The service was excellent on par with the Mulia standards found across the resort.

We had higher expectations and felt mildly disappointed with the food. Soleil is most known for their Sunday Brunch, perhaps they have better offerings during that time.
had the set menu

all taste overall good however i think it’s more worth it if you just go with 1 main dishes instead of the set menu

While Kubu may not be a Michelin star restaurant, it certainly has every reason to be. My wife and I have experienced Michelin star restaurants before and Kubu was better! Between the food, ambiance and staff we couldn’t have wished for anything more. We ordered the 9 course meal with the non premium wine pairing and we were so happy we did because of how amazing everything was. The cocoon table is a must if you can get one so be sure to book ahead of time.
My husband surprised me with this fantastic dinner at Kubu and he did it amazingly. Beyond the delicious food, the service was excellent, the view and the intimacy of the Coconut nest are just wonderful !
I will never forget this experience 🤍🙏

Definitely one hell of an exquisite fine dining experience. My wife and I loved every moment of it. The food is very surprising and not what you’d expect. Our favorites were the candle and the lamb. There were some dishes that were average but most of the food was good. If you’re looking for something different this is a must-try restaurant.

Delicious food. I came with high expectations and the chef and waiting staff exceeded. We loved the wagu carpaccio, burrata salad, the prawn shashlik, the stars were the truffle smash and asparagus. The ambiance is fantastic and loved the vegetable garden where they grow their own food. Being a keen gardener, it was great to wander around the garden. Good job by the management, chefs, and waiting staff.
Chic and expensive, worth the price?

Amazing staff. Hat’s off to Rakel
We were 6 and all ordered the amuz menu
The presentation was amazing, artistic and just sublime.
The flavors were perfect.
I dislike asparagus but the chef made a good job to convert me.
Foie gras was beautifully accompanied by sweets.
The tenderloin was flavorful and cooked to perfection.
The deserts are just amazing. To die for.

Indulging in a delightful culinary experience at this exquisite fine dining restaurant was a treat for the senses. Offering a diverse range of dishes spanning from Western to Asian, with a particular focus on Indonesian cuisine, it truly catered to every palate.

The moment the dishes arrived, it was evident that both presentation and portion sizes were given utmost attention. Each plate was meticulously crafted, showcasing the chef's artistic flair. The pasta with truffle was a revelation—a harmonious blend of flavors that danced on the taste buds. The truffle infused a rich earthiness, elevating the dish to new heights. Accompanying it was the sate marangi with sambal matah, a tantalizing Indonesian delight. The skewers were succulent and bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly complemented by the zesty sambal matah.

The ambiance of the restaurant exuded elegance and sophistication. The tasteful decor, subdued lighting, and plush seating created a refined atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience. The waitstaff, dressed impeccably in elegant uniforms, added a touch of class to the proceedings. Their attentive and professional service elevated the evening, ensuring that every need was met with a warm smile.

In conclusion, this fine dining establishment left an indelible impression. The generous portion sizes, meticulous presentation, and a focus on Indonesian cuisine made it a standout experience. From the moment you step foot into the restaurant to the last bite, you are enveloped in a world of culinary excellence. Whether you're an avid food lover or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit destination for a remarkable gastronomic journey.
Overall, my experience at Namaaz Dining was exceptional. The restaurant's commitment to delivering a one-of-a-kind dining experience is truly commendable. I highly recommend Namaaz Dining to anyone looking for an extraordinary culinary adventure.
A very good fine dining experience is available at the Sofia . Good collection of wine sprites and cocktails to choose from .The seafood selection is abundant. The food is well presented thers a variety to choose from Deserts to choose from. Kid friendly , the live band was pleasant
This was such a memorable experience for both my husband and I. Beyond the food, the staff, the ambience, and the plating made the experience more special. They take you in a buggy ride from the hotel lobby to the restaurant. I was able to book a private cocoon in advanced and really recommend doing so. We did the tasting menu and really appreciated how each dish was though out and executed. It was also cute that the petit fours came in a basket that is woven exactly like the cocoon. Staff are so kind and professional. I know some reviews say the price is a little high. But we live in New York City and have paid so much more for tasting menus where the quality and service is not even close to Kubu. So I would say it’s definitely a must visit place in Bali if you like fine dining.

Book ahead because they have a limited number of table. We have not tried degustation in Australia so we have nothing to compare but we enjoy the food although the story line presented along with the food is a-bit disjointed. But we’re not there for the story, we’re there for the experience and the food. Total there were 18 dishes ranging from savoury to sweet. At the end of the session we were super full.this restaurant has seasons which they changed their menu and themes. There's some questionable food (in terms of taste) though and I think the theme was not really hitting me. There's also some really good and innovative ones.

I was expecting a little bit more from the review and the hype.

It was a very out of the box experience for my partner and myself. The food were all presented really well and they all tasted really well. The chefs did a very well job and I would definitely recommend people to come and try to dine here. The price as of right now is Rp. 1,250,000. There is no menu so you won’t know what you’re going to get. Overall, 10/10 ⭐️

P.S: These are only some picts for a sneak peak. 😉

Fantastic experience. The food was amazing. You can tell how much thought and passion has gone into creating the menu and the paired cocktails/drinks. The staff are clearly also passionate and knowledgeable about the food. A once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing food, ambience and service.
From the get go you are taken by buggie to the restaurant and you are taken to a natural rainforest fantasy world filled with wonder.
We managed to get a private cocoon on the same day of enquiring.
The team were lovely and arranged flower petals for the table and a lovely celebration cake.
Amazing restaurant! Me and my girlfriend had a dinner - the best one in Bali so far. The dishes were more than delicious, and they were presented as a restaurant with a Michelin star. The staff were so nice, and spoke good, and understandable English. Modern design of the restaurant with an open kitchen. The food - mixed dishesh between Balinese and Middeterranean - amazing combination. They also had a briliant drink list with a wide range of cocktails. Will definitely visit again!

If not for the team of very friendly serving staff, dining experience at this eatery was definitely a not-easy-to-forget bad experience. An uninspiring bland menu, charged at exorbitant prices, poorly executed by evidently untrained cooks.

The restaurant I’ve been to throughout my whole trip to Bali. Food was great. Awesome place. Best service. They made my 1st Anniversary a memorable one. The chef specials were amazing. Loved everything.

A decent Mediterranean inspired restaurant on Bisma 8. From what I read, the dishes are prepared from homegrown farm-to-table produce as well as locally-sourced meat and seafood. We tried the Balinese chicken which was very well cooked and the chicken was moist. The sweet potato fries were as good as I’ve ever tried and the condiments top notch. Service excellent. Bravo.

My husband and I went here for a fancy meal during our honeymoon and this place was beautiful at night over looking with the garden. Prices are very fair but our food was a bit hit and miss. He had the barramundi and it was fantastic. I ordered the duck and it wasn't particularly tasty and was one of the most expensive menu items. The service was faultless though, the staff were very attentive.

We reserved one of their private cocoons and the experience was totally worth it. They picked you up with a buggy / golf car, and the way in is already breathtaking. I suggest to book an earlier time slot as much as you can so you get some good pictures before sunsets. The service is spot on - you can even charge your phone in the cocoon. One comment though is the female bathroom perhaps can do a bit of scent/fragrance.

The place is absolutely amazing. Its right by the river. You arrive at the Mandapa hotel by the ritz carlton, then you take a club car that takes you all the way down to the restaurant. Our booking was in one of the cocoons which offers exclusivity and is very suitable for a romantic dinner. We had the nine course meal which was fabulous and very delicious from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and very professional. They even brought us a cake as a gift as we were on our honeymoon. Would recommend this restaurant if you are in bali. Its a bit expensive but worth it. If you are going to order the nine course meal, then be prepared to stay there for at least two hours.

French style restaurant in the center of Jakarta. At some time they have Guest Chef coming to serve with their specialty (ex french x asian). Fine & wine dining experience.

Food experience 4/5 (My favorite is angel hair pasta in the light truffle). The surprise menu very interesting. The bread also good one. Another menu that worth to try is escargot & foie gras. Place very cozy! Well set dinner table.
Service team runs smoothly. Thank you!
Enjoyed my solo dining experience at AMUZ Gourmet during my last business trip to JKT.

I opted for their 5 course set menu, so as to get a sense of the offering of the culinary team. There were 2 additional amuse bouche served. I had 2 glasses of wine to go with my meal.

Food:
Very good throughout. Bread basket at the start was lovely. Each course has its own focus and has various elements that work well together. The fish course was the star for me with the excellent execution and beautiful taste combination, and the foie gras course came in 2nd best for me. Also thoroughly enjoyed the pre-desert chocolate mousse, which I felt was on point.

Service:
Attentive service by 3 different staff. The lady served and describe each course well. One of the guys came and had some meaningful interaction with me before leaving me to enjoy the food, which I appreciated. Polite and efficient.

Other aspects:
- Lovely calm ambience.
- Table setting was beautiful, especially the table piece.
- I must mention that the wines are really quite expensive for the type I had, but this is not a restaurant specific issue, but to do with taxes.

Overall, a fantastic experience.

Highly recommended.
If having wine when enjoying fine dining is not your thing, skip the wines.

Wonderful experience. The ambiance was moody and relaxing. All staff were welcoming and friendly.

Lots of complimentary dishes and also got complimentary drinks. The mango salsa was delicious. Ordered hot chips which were cooked perfectly. Steak was really well cooked and the mashed potato was good. Enjoyed the salsa with the couscous chicken. Ubud colada and the sweet lassi was also a great drink option.

Was served by Tari, who was very attentive and nice. She showed us around the garden and overall gave a very memorable experience. Definitely recommend and worth a try.
Well established french restaurant in Jakarta with nice quiet ambiance. They occasionally have different tasting menus for dinner, but this time I tried their lunch set.

Taste 7.5/10

🐈‍⬛Will revisit

Lunch Set - Quartre Cours (2pax - 400k each)
Le Champignon au Gratin (7/10)
Baked portobello mushroom with beef pastrami, watercress, and walnut salad. Portobello had a nice meatiness that was complemented by the pastrami and cheese. The crusty top part was really nic😆.

Les Escargots a la Bourguignonne (6.5/10)
Snails in shell baked in garlic herb butter on toasted walnut bread. Removing the shell was such a hassle hahaha. Smells very buttery but personally would prefer some citrus to cut through the richness.

La Salade au Thon Rouge (8/10)
Rare seared sashimi grade tuna carpaccio, baby romaine, aioli dressing, parmesan chips and cherry tomato. This one had such nice plating. Perfectly seared fresh tuna with nice sides of salad. Like how they incorporate all the different textures from the crunchy chips and lettuce against creamy dressing.

Le Filet de Dorada Rose (7/10)
Pan fried red snapper fillet, couscous semolina, confit cherry tomatoes & paprika jus. The confit and jus were perfectly caramelised and resulted in a delightful sweet sauce that works well with the snapper. Not a fan of couscous so would have preferred other grain/sides.

Le Steak Frites (7/10)
Grilled black angus grain fed beef sirloin french fries, mesclun lettuce with marchand de vin sauce. Since it’s sirloin cut, I expected the thick fatty layer on the sides🤧. Regardless of my preference for leaner cut, this was actually good, cooked perfectly to rare and quite easy to bite into while having sone meatiness to it.

L’Assiette de Fromage (7/10)
Assorted french cheeses, we got comte, roquefort, brie, and emmental. Enjoyed this as a cheese fan myself, but probably don’t order this unless you like pungent cheese and don’t mind some weird texture cheese.

Le Delice au Caramel (7.5/10)
Caramel mousse, freshly baked caramel mudcake, and homemade french raspberry sorbet. Just your usual mudcake, but appreciate how they incorporate other components (berries, sorbet) because caramel dessert can be one note and just sickeningly sweet. Caramel had some nice saltiness that counteracts the sweetness, and sorbet was a good balance if sweet-sour

Le Feuillete Frangipane (8/10)
Freshly baked crisp almond cream pastry puff, roasted pineapple, and pineapple sorbet. Prefer this over the mud cake as the pineapple gave it a refreshing twist. Also like the contrast between the crunchy puff and almond cream.
This is a truly wonderful dining experience. The food is amazing...authentic French culinary experience....we ordered the set menu which has the best of everything...but for starters we also ordered the escargot.

The service is wonderful, the place is cozy, and the food is delicious.

Must try:
Foie gras
Lamb
Barramundi
Escargot
Hokkaido scallop
Truffle aglio olio

Well basically everything we had was awesome

And all the desserts!!!

Will definitely come again!
It's fine dining but Wasn't the best food here except for it's dessert. With the price u paid, it's not worth it. Maybe I don't know how to appreciate this kind of esquisite food. The server spoke in Indonesian so I had no idea what exactly I was eating!!

Fine dining that does not disappoint. Presentation is impressive and the dishes are unique. Wine list could be improved, but the cocktail pairing was excellent and overall a memorable experience.
The food was simply amazing and the service was also excellent. I ordered the angel hair truffle pasta and the steak and shared it with my gf. The waiter was kind enough to offer to have the dishes split into two plates for the both of us. They are worth the price and would come back here on special occassions
I've heard a lot about this fancy place. Also heard about the fancy prices too haha. So I went there to celebrate my wife's birthday and somewhat had mild expectations. High prices don't always promise high quality in this city. Oh how I was proven wrong. As soon as I entered, this amazing scent shot up my nose with jasmine notes that I could never get tired of. Seriously. I think I mentioned 10 times to my wife about how much I love the scent. Now let's get to the food. I ordered this food which I could barely pronounce and when I took that first bite, I was truly blown away. Look at the food photos I took and all of it tasted amazing. I dare to say that it is worth the price (I would even pay for the scent haha).

The staff was also very nice and of course I asked them to bring a birthday cake for my wife and they let me choose from their selection of cakes. Not only cake was brought, but also a whole ensemble to sing happy birthday.

Probably the only downside is the portion. It's a "pretty" portion. But I guess it made want to come back for more. Great job Sofia. This is by far the longest review I've ever written. That reflects how much I loved it there. 10/10!

Overpriced for what it is. I was expecting a bit more of a fine dining experience but there is many other good restaurants at their quality level whom offer better pricing. They had very little options available on the menu and we regrettably ordered the strip steak which was extra chewy (my partner had to spit it out) and after 2 entrees, 2 mains and 2 drinks it worked out to be 1,120,000 IDR which is a bit much for what we got. There was also a catapiller in our food (which means it's organic right?) 😅🐛 beautiful presentation and venue but wouldn't go back

Reputable Chinese restaurant in Darmo area, stand among foodie neighborhoods, it’s usually cater wedding party.
Spotted authentic and very well prepared menu like: signature cold plate , pork spareribs with golden mantou , mayonnaise shrimp. Their vegetarian menu also good.
Clean and polite service

A well known Chinese Restaurant. Good service. Food overall impressive except the Noodle with crab sauce 🍜 a lil bit over salty. Fried rice good, Pork Chop tasty yummy, Roasted Duck well and nice serving, Salad 4 Flavor good portion only they don't put mayo sauce to complete the taste.

Price wise a lil bit much but not so expensive compared to its quality.

For Chinese New Year they don't force you to take set menu.

Waiter also steady and responsive.

Delicious. Chinese food. Very recommended. They have vip rooms
Met the owner/chef a while back for an event here, and he explained how every dish has its own meaning and story. We were blown away! Such creativity and perseverance.
The plates looked so beautiful, we almost didn’t have the heart to eat them. And they tasted awesome, too.
The ambiance of the restaurant was very Indonesian-influenced and really gorgeous.
Please reopen after the pandemic, we’d love to try your latest innovations!
Very enjoyable meal in Jakarta. Nice setting, great service and interesting tasty food. Great value for such a multi-course meal. However knocking off a star for having one single carnival like song on repeat the entire time. It’s still in my head...

We attend a friend's wedding at this restaurant. Good looks are quite wide. There are two floors ... which upstairs can see shows on the 1st floor. The service is very friendly and deft. The cuisine as a whole from various menus is very tasty. Close to the highway. Parking is still on the highway, but Vallet Service is available. Table Setting with seat cover and ribbon. For weddings it is very appropriate, with a good sound system and not noisy.
The interior design of the room is quite modern and beautiful.
Definitely highly recommended for various official and casual events.

One old and renowned Chinese restaurant in Surabaya. Spacious parking space with good valet service. Upscale place, but still feels homey inside. The food quality and presentation is superb, the staffs are kind and friendly. Great place for family dinner, especially at Chinese New Year Eve.
True gastronomy experience. One of the very few restaurants in Jakarta serving authentic gastronomy food with innovative touch. The service is impeccable. Staff is well trained and took care of all our needs. The presentation of food is mind blowing. All ingredients used are from all over Indonesia and the staff will explain about where each comes from. We took the 5 course dinner which came with choice of 2 starters, 2 main course and 1 dessert. We spent about 1.3 million for the whole meal for 2 of us (please note the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol of any kind respecting the beliefs and culture of Indonesia). Food was delicious. Never knew ingredients from Indonesia when brought together can produce something so amazingly beautiful. I would rate this restaurant among my top 3 in Jakarta. A very talented Chef and a great Staff. Will come back again for sure !!
