This hotel is a little gem, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pros;
Staff are amazing and so helpful they can’t do enough for you.

Rooms are amazing and offer everything you ever need. The housekeepers clean your room twice a day and bring you little snacks and extra coffee :)

The pool area is amazing and there is always room to relax.

There is a big gym on-site and offers a lot of equipment.

Cons;
The breakfast area was way too busy for the space. Fruits ran out very fast and if you came later you got the left overs.

It was very hard to get a good table to really enjoy breakfast as it was so so busy.
We stayed two nights at the Ritz Carlton. The staff was absolutely amazing and kind. They always had a smile and greeted you at every second they saw you. There was countless staff at all locations ensuring our stay was enjoyable. They even came up to my room with on my birthday to sing Happy Birthday and to give me a nice chocolate cake! I was pretty blown away by that.

We did have a leak in the ceiling in the shower which caused maintenance to stay in my room for a long time. Gayus, the on duty manager, checked on us several times and moved our room to a comparable one down the hall. He was very apologetic and wrote us a personal note. That was a nice touch, although it seems like several people have had issues with leaks.

The hotel does seem like it’s falling apart- several tiles and cracks in the pool and other areas were patched up. But the
great staff and beautiful views made for a wonderful stay.
If you are considering staying here, do not book it. This hotel is super outdated with little to no maintenance done to keep up with the other Ritz hotels. The room always had this bad odor of humidity in the bathroom area. The shower has this wood slats on the floor that can be slippery when wet. And the mosquito sprays that is kept in the rooms do not work. It's best to bring your own no matter what hotel you are staying at. And the food is horrible.
This is truly the best hotel I’ve ever been to. The views of Ubud are gorgeous and so is the property. What stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service. You get your own private butler on call to you via Whatsapp and they take such good care of you. The hotel has an exclusive feel since the property is so huge but there are few rooms. The dining was excellent—the Japanese place had the best sushi and the breakfast buffet was amazing and accommodating to us vegetarians. The morning yoga was so beautiful and the whole mindset/lifestyle is perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful, serene getaway!!!
We had our best stay so far and we would love to visit again. This resort offers you everything together, but disconnect to reconnect program makes the real difference. We loved every minute of our stay starting from all the hospitality to food and massage. The only thing they can improve is the kids club. They have an excellent setup, but they barely have activities that the kids have fun. Our 7 year old daughter loves kids clubs and spending time there, but she got really bored in here, so we couldn’t attend all the sessions we wanted. This was a little dealbreaker for us :) you can see other resorts offer activities like kite making, pot painting, or other local activities, but there was nothing here apart from just playing around.
Good place, but a bit expensive. If you want to have a good atmospheric fish pond view, this place is recommended.
Loved our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Bali! We had a room with pool lagoon access and it was a dream. One of my top favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I loved being able to walk out of our room and jump in the pool. The service was great and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The beach is a little disappointing as the surf is so far out, but the sand is nice and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Absolutely beautiful!! This resort was just gorgeous, from the grounds to the rooms to the service. Everything was excellent. It was so calm and relaxing. The service especially was standout. They really care and make you feel special. Selly and staff were so sweet. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!
The Ritz is the great hotel, it is the third time I’m staying with them. The hotel is great the only thing that is is a bit old, but the management is working on it and some part already been renovated.
The rooms are clean and every day stuff bring fresh fruits and deserts. All rooms have a beautiful view towards sea front.
The stuff are always nice, on breakfasts we met the chief and he was personally bringing us fruit plates every morning
Suitable for family big big gathering bcs of the very spacious space with fish pond. However, the food is not as good as the other Sundanese food. And for the price, the portion is not that worth it since it's very small.
Amazing stay! Been here for 3 days but not enough this place is paradise for relaxation. Many activities in hotel great organic breakfast, butler service very kind and friendly they always pick you up from room with buggy. Overall all good and planning to come back again.
I recently had the pleasure of staying this hotel and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel surpassed my expectations in terms of both food quality and room cleanliness, making my stay truly memorable.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and efficient, ensuring a smooth start to my stay. The hotel's location was convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options.
Now, let's talk about the food. The hotel's restaurant exceeded all my culinary expectations. The breakfast buffet was a delightful spread of delicious options, catering to various dietary preferences. The quality of the food was outstanding, with fresh ingredients and a wide array of choices. Whether I wanted a hearty English breakfast or a light and healthy option, the restaurant had it all. The attentive staff ensured prompt service and were always ready to accommodate any special requests.
Our stay at this 5-star hotel was an absolute dream. From the moment we stepped into the magnificent lobby, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The luxurious room, adorned with elegant furnishings and breathtaking views, provided the perfect sanctuary. The culinary experience was exceptional, with a wide array of delectable dishes crafted by talented chefs. The spa and fitness facilities were world-class, offering relaxation and rejuvenation. Above all, it was the attentive and friendly staff that truly made our stay unforgettable. This hotel truly exemplifies the epitome of luxury and hospitality.
There are so many amazed we stayed in this hotel. Starting from the smallest thing to the biggest: the swimming pool and dining room are amazing, the staff is friendly, the communication is fast when I need it before check-in, and all kinds of food, there are lots of choices and the taste is really delicious. The rooms are comfortable and the location of the hotel is perfect. But what made our stay so good was the attentiveness of the staff. There is always someone available, even if it is staff at the front door to greet you with a smile as you walk in or out. It makes a difference, because it's the reason we'll be back
Mandapa truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive. Check-in was a breeze and the receptionist was kind enough to give some great local dining recommendations. The room was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed that provided a great night’s sleep. The amenities, such as the fitness center and pool, were well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of fresh and delicious options. What set this hotel apart was its location, within walking distance of major attractions and eateries. I highly recommend Mandapa for both business and leisure travelers seeking a seamless and luxurious stay.
I stayed here in June 2023. The hotel is beautiful but a bit antiseptic in its concrete style. However, the gardens are designed to carry you through the resort in an environment of lush greenery and colourful flora. But the hotel staff seem to have had their personalities erased and are more like robots throughout the resort, from check in to wait staff.

The junior suite felt dated despite having mod cons and didn’t have an isolated bath. It was located in one of the many buildings that circle the gardens and had a nice, albeit far, view of the ocean.

The beach club is the best part of the hotel - the service is good and the food offerings are great, but the staff seem to not understand what constitutes gluten free and not one menu in the entire place identifies gluten free items.

One one occasion hot chips arrived frozen and on another occasion a gluten-free granola had to be sourced because none of the FIVE varieties of granola were considered gluten free (despite having an ingredients list suggesting no gluten ingredients were present).

The beach is nice but artificial. The water is FULL OF PLASTIC and the hotel seems to do nothing about this, despite having a significant responsibility to look after the environment.

We negotiated an exit after three days and I won’t be back.

Outstanding stay! From arrival we were greeted with local welcome drink and wet towel, doing check in next to the large balcony with magnificent views.

Room is simply amazing with direct access to a shared pool with around another ~10 rooms. Not many guests were using it so we had it to our own most of the time.

We were here for a friend’s wedding which was executed seamlessly with a great memory for the new couple and the guests.

The stay ended with a high note with the complimentary 30 min photo shoot, with one free picture to take home. We were so happy with the pictures we ended up purchasing the digital copies at a reasonable fee. The photographer is amazing, very passionate and turned around the pictures very quickly.
One of the best hotels we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. Our room was wonderfully decorated for our anniversary, and we were upgraded to a lagoon access room which was perfect for swimming lovers like us.
But perhaps the best part of our trip here is the Beach Grill. We had the barefoot bbq for our anniversary and every detail of the meal exceeded our expectations—incredible staff, chefs, food, bonfire. We came back here the following evening for dinner and again, the food is one of the best we’ve ever had. You simply cannot go wrong with any of the dishes.
We really cannot wait to come back and enjoy such an amazing hotel experience!
The restaurant is really spacious for a family lunch or dinner. They have private place around the lake called "saung" which children usually prefer cause they can see 🐠🐟. the food is good but all of their sambal is not really spicy enough for me. I recommend you to try their udang bakar, the prawn is fresh and the sauce is really good. But unfortunately all of their high chairs for babies are dirty and old. since they are a family resto which has many babies and kids around I think they should buy a new one or kindly deep clean all those high chair 😭
Wide parking space but no marking line and parking man, so some cars parked inappropriately. Came here on a Sunday and have to wait for some time even though it is not too crowdy. The food is a bit bland. There are a lot of space and playing ground for kids to play. Watch the kids because the pond is not fenced.
Sundanese restaurant with fish ponds as the view!

This is my first time to come here, for lunch with family. The Saung is waiting list for maybe 5 minute but they has fish foot therapy at the entrance.

Make sure you bring your e-money or flazz for parking!

The ambience just like other Sundanese restaurant, cozy and clean. The Saung is available for 6 person or more. If you want to feed the fish it has cost 5K IDR and pay at the cashier.

Has toilet and musholla, the toilet is clean and has 2 type of closets. The musholla is clean but not that big.

And also has playground for the kids!

The food is good but not that special, I ordered for 5 person and 2 kids, cost around 600K IDR.

The payment is available on Cash, Debit and QR.
Was good and fast service

It will hard to book gubug when weekend

But if you just in regular table it will be ok

The food was good sundanese and pricy of course
Came here for company breakfasting. Good and cozy ambiance with fish pool and saung. We ordered most of their seafood menu and sundaness menu. All food were tasty. Price was fair enough with the portion but waiting time and their hospitality was poor.
Such a nice place to have a lunch. Opt for the outdoor hut to maximise your experience and enjoy the lake view while savouring the delicious sundanese themed dishes. Must try the fried fish, veggies and also the fresh lalapan. Be aware that it might get crowded during the lunch hour on weekends. So do come early!
