I go through here everyday to school and I must say, not bad. What really looks ugly is when the maintenance people come in with their cars and leave muddy tire tracks in the grass. There isint that much people here since most of the people that walk here are walking dogs.
Its great park for walking to walk your dog around it even has its own play peen for you and your dog incase he's not used to being of the lead.its a great place to unwind after a bad day .
The ideal place to relax after a tiring day.
Lovely tiny park by the river to feed the ducks when their around and chill on the few benches a little away from the noise of traffic and hassle and bussel of daily life
Ein hübsches Areal mit einem Platz am River Barrow. Dort lässt sich auf einer der Bänke prima picknicken und den vielen auf dem an dieser Stelle einem großen Teich gleichenden Fluss schwimmenden Schwäne sowie dem einen oder andere Angler auf den Stufen am anderen Ufer zuschauen. In dem kleinen Park gibt es einen Erinnerungsbaum, gepflanzt um das Andecken an die Opfer der berüchtigten Magdalena Laundries, von der katholischen Kirche betriebene Zwangsarbeitseinrichtungen für sogenannte gefallene Mädchen und ähnliche aufrecht zu erhalten.

I was at a Younity pick up. The environment was clean and well layout. Beautiful atmosphere
Beautiful little spot now when the weather is out, great place to sit and have a picnic with the family or even a take away McDonald's, very clean too.
Considering what this park use to be it's a massive improvement.years ago I would avoid here and definitely not allow my children play in it but today we played there without any worries
I was delighted to happen upon this corner house whilst out walking Jackson. I've never seen anything like it, it's great. Go and see for yourself

Small but nicely laid out park with bandstand and seating
It's a beautiful area but very disappointing to see so many broken beer bottles all over the place. Have to look carefully to find somewhere to sit on the steps to avoid the broken glass.
Nice park. Plenty of space for kids to play and cycle. Nice walk around the perimeter of the park.
We love bringing the children here when we go into town! Racing to the top of the hill, rolly polly back down, off to feed the ducks and swans (and crows) and up to the playground after the children go and see the sunken boats!! On a good day the ice cream van is there for a well deserved treat!!! But the last few visits have been disappointing as littering getting worse each time we visit,(and beer cans dotted around the place), such a shame people can't respect such a beautiful local amenity! ☹

A must visit place in Carlow to watch swans and the sunset. Park is usually bustling with runners and joggers and a great place to breathe in morning air
This park is nice and quite. It's very small too. It has the river running alongside, scenic view of the Mount Leinster is a bliss to watch.
This is one of my favorite spots on the river Barrow to just chill out and relax. There are plenty of spots to find under a tree and have a picnic and watch the world go by. Or head over to the rivers edge and feed the swans. There is a fantastic looking playground for kids and judging by it's popularity, it is a must for those with kids. If you are in the area, it's well worth the visit for some time out.
