Cashier said we cannot get a takeaway saying not available anymore, we decided to stay in and eat, every person who came in after us (delivery driver or a random buyer) could get a takeaway. Guess when we asked she could not be bothered to grab takeaway bags from downstairs or who knows way.. Random
Nice, friendly Palestinian restaurant, we were there as a family group before Christmas and were offered a Christmas menu as the only option which we weren't expecting. We did get a very large amount of food to in the sharing starter which we all enjoyed, I had the lemon chicken for the main which was a bit bland but the rest of the group enjoyed their meals.
Great Palestinian cuisine. Loved the Fokhara for main course and both the starters were lovely too(Falafel and Batata). All staff were very welcoming and friendly. Really like this place and will return...

Fast, affordable, and healthy options! It was very busy when we went, but luckily we got some side tables. The service was very fast, like fast food resto.

The vegan Cig Kofte was amazing. It came with salad. Highly recommend
Staff were extremely accommodating. Got a table on short notice.

Ordered starter (vine leaves) and main (Chicken Fokhara _cant select this as an option) followed by desserts. Good food and beautiful atmosphere.

Best Turkish food in Dublin. Had the mixed doner and it was superb. Reyna is always very busy and seating is limited. Service was quick and polite.

A small funky little Turkish restaurant in the heart of Dublin. Reasonably priced with fast service and very busy.

I ordered Dolmades as a side (probably the best Dolmades I’ve ate apart from my grandads) and Mixed Shish as a main, both were amazing!

The lentil soup looked stunning so I’d recommend that to anyone who knows about it!

No visit to Dublin for us is complete without an Umi. This was our 1st time at the Mary St branch and it lived up to the usual high standards. Bog portions, fresh falafel, friendly staff, delicious salads etc. Umi, we'll be back x

This is by far the best Umi in town. Not only is the food delicious, healthy and vegan, the staff is amazing! Always friendly and helpful. I come here every week and they always treat me amazing! Jesús, Alice, Osama, Pablo, Anca, are just wonderful and make the place a great environment :)

Local Palestinian Restaurant in the heart of Rathmines with authentic dishes! Service was quick considering how busy it was.

We got the hummus was starter which came with flatbread. As the main we got the Maklouba which was a chicken breast on rice with a side salad and a yogurt dip. As a side we had the Batata Harrah. The starter, main and side were really tasty! However the dessert Layaly Lubnan was not great. The syrup used in the dessert was not our cup of tea.

All in all we paid just over €40 so well worth the visit!

The entrance of the restaurant smelled like pee, like public bathrooms usually smell. The food tastes like generic, mass produced, frozen/canned stuff that they fry/plate/heat right before serving. We ate the tray for two with falafel, pita bread, hummus and tabouleh salad and regretted it. Their umi minted lemonade was good though. The guys at the counter were nice and helpful, but it didn’t make up for the generic food. Would recommend looking for something else if you are looking for quality food.

Very basic restaurant / fast food place but friendly staff. Good food and really speaking Umi Falafel is amongst the limited choices for vegan/vegetarian food in Dublin.

I have visited this restaurant a few times recently but the menu listed vegetarian items as vegan. The "Falafel Your Way" was marked with a green V sign for vegan, including the choice of sauces. I since learned that they use dairy/egg garlic mayo as default. This is extremely dangerous for milk allergy sufferers and very untrustworthy advertising for vegans. They have since removed the V sign from the menu but I would not trust them to use the correct sauce if asked. The staff here are also very rude and impatient.
I went back in August and forgot to leave a review then, but it was absolutely fantastic! Our server was so kind and friendly, the decorations and ambiance was 10 out of 10, and the food was UNREAL. If you have a chance to go here, it’s a MUST! I also really liked that we were able to bring our own wine in. My whole family went and between the five of us we probably ordered most of the menu. It was ALL so good, so you can’t go wrong with anything you order.

They have a gyro meat carving machine and it's so interesting to watch. Also the food was amazing. Ayran was interesting but definitely an acquired taste, also looked like there was tea of some description that I missed out on. Would definitely return if I lived nearby

Oooh the vegan food here is sensational--amazing Mezze with great options! Perfect for people who like picking at different sharing bits. Hummus and Baba ganoush is super tasty, the sharing platter has a tonne of options. Really recommend this place for vegan food!

The place looks nice from the outside but I side the staff is ret not nice and impatient. The falafel itself comes in a store bought wrap which was dry. The falafel itself was also burned. For this prices you expect something better. At least the tahini was ok.

I came at the perfect time right Veggie the rush. Loved the music they were playing when I walked in. Think fast food BUT fresh food. I tried stuffed grape leaves, lentil soup, & the Moroccan quinoa salad with added falafel. Definitely a great Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Dublin. Very efficient service and kind staff.

I was very happy to find a healthy, affordable place to eat in Dublin. It's a rare find for a vegan to be able to go to a totally meatless eatery🥰. Their Falafels and salads are really, really good!
The interior could do with an upgrade, though. Tables are sticky (it was wiped down, thus not dirty), and the 'look' is dated/old. But at least the food ( the main reason for going there) was good.
Was first time coming to the place. Ordered a Fattush Salad and Chilli & Garlic Shrimps. Both were really good portions and I enjoyed every bit of it. My friend and I were also given some complimentary Kibbeh during the dinner and a piece of Baklawa for each of us to try as a desert. Good atmosphere and staff on top of that made us want to come back here again. Would recommend.
I had a lovely evening with my friends. It was my first time eating Palestine Food, and it was a great experience, for sure I’ll go again. Wonderful food, nice staff, they gave us a nice recommendation for ordering our food. I highly recommend trying this food. The decor of the restorant is unique. Thank for gave us a glorious food.

Always a pleasure to eat here, the food is absolutely delicious and they also make my favourite cocktail (if you're into strong fruity taste definitely try their cocktails). Can get a little crammed at times since with slightly uncomfortable seating but still very worth it

Could be the best Hummus in Ireland. A lot of different dishes, and really easy for vegetarians or vegans, woth normal prices. The place is great and chill, clean and good feelings. The service also great, friendly and fast. Really recommendable to anyone! The Knafeh was extremely good and the portion wasn't shy😍

Hungry and wet, the welcoming sound of people enjoying themselves greeted us. A warm hello from the staff. Althoughvery busy, a very efficient waitress swept us to a table. Our food came quickly and smelled and looked delicious. Very tasty it was too. There were so many interesting items on the menu I have to come back again. Price not bad for Dublin.

Excellent option for Middle Eastern food.
Mostly crowded on evening - happened to visit for lunch on a weekday and found plenty of space.

The food was amazing!
- mezze platter - good combination of salads, hummous, bana ghanoush, tahini among other things - falafel was nice, pits were soft
- baked aubergine - creamy and well cooked. Pomegranate went well with the dish
- chicken shawarma - good, the chicken stuffing was generous
- eggs shashouka- the only underwhelming dish - have had better in Dublin itself
- baklava - was amazing - not too sweet, flaky and good pistachio stuffing. Got 7-8 pieces in a single portion.

Overall, good value for money! Staff was friendly and courteous

Very cozy outdoor atmosphere, nicely decorated inside. Also the staff is very nice and of course the food is great. This time we chose everything from vegetables, although I prefer dishes with meat, but we were definitely not disappointed with this choice. Next time I will try dishes with meat. By the way, here you can get freshly squeezed juice.
Loved the food! Also the service was great :) Really nice place, highly recommend. Definitely will visit again soon
Great food and experience! We split a BBQ platter for two. Good portion size and service. Food was flavorful and fresh.

This is positively the best kebab/donair place I’ve ever been to. It’s authentic, very reasonably priced, and prepared with speed. The only downside is the dining area is quite small and always packed (for obvious reasons😋) so it can be frustrating trying to find a seat

Eaten twice here & both times excellent service & very decent food - some items on the menu are excellent & all are good. Additionally, all come as adequately sized portions.
Place is popular & gets busy quickly. Good lighting, good seats & clean toilets all add to the overall value of eating here.
It is unfortunately NOT disabled friendly as toilets are upstairs making disabled access into the restaurant a moot point.

Been eating here for over 6 months now on a weekly basis, beeing my go-to place after gym. I'm usually going for the mixed grill platter with Tabouleh salad. Owner is super friendly and kind, waiters are lovely. There is like a big family atmoshere every time I'm eating there. Love this place.
Stopped in looking for a late night bite and was recommended by the bouncer next door. They were closing but offered us take away as an option instead. The staff was so incredibly kind, even offered us water while we waited. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to come back for a full meal!!

Not been to Dublin in ages.. fancied a kebab after a good few Guinness's.. but wanted something that was not late nite greasy food... Came across Zaytoon and thought why not... I ordered a meal deal type thing and boy oh boy it hit the spot.. fresh salad, crispy fried, lovely kofte kebab... The food was great... If I get another chance I'll defo be coming back... Thanks Zaytoon for a great meal... I'm stuffed...
Great service, amazing and tasty food.
I'm writing my review right after I finish eating so you can imagine how good it was!
The staff was also incredibly helpful and nice, I'm definitely eating here again soon.

Amazingly fresh and legit Turkish kebabs. Lamb and chicken on the döner rotisserie. Kebabs cooked on the charcoal grill and yufka / pita fresh in the tandir clay oven.

Better than what you find in Istanbul. Have tried the lamb, mixed lamb and chicken, and the köfte. Yea, it was that good!

Highly recommended!

We are staying 2 min away from this place in Dublin and wanted to try something different than the Irish food. The place was busy so that immediately a great sign! We decided to order take away since we were staying close by. The have a clay oven where they make fresh bread and next to it charcoal grill where all the kabob action are happening. The experience from start to finish was delightful. We ordered a combination platter and a shawarma mixed plate with 2 Ayran! Amazing taste and portions were really good. I think we’ll definitely stop by again before we leave town.
What a great place! The atmosphere is very cozy and vibey. The food is amazing. And the service is even better. The staff is so warm and hospitable. They gave us generous portions of everything and were very friendly. Our server was Nash, he is the best. Definitely would go back!

Stopped by Umi Falafel on Mary Street in Dublin. Being Palestinian and a dedicated falafel lover, I couldn't resist trying their loose falafel. The falafel itself was bursting with flavor, had a satisfying crunch, and its vibrant green hue was inviting. My only minor recommendation would be to allow it a bit more time in the fryer to achieve that perfect interior texture. Also, I must mention that the staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Despite this minor detail, my overall experience was quite satisfying!

Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. We had an amazing time at Shouk! It’s a cozy place, decor is cool and vibrant. The toilets are not great, as they are quite old and there is poor lighting where the cubicles are, other than that everything was very good! Would definitely go back again and try their desserts next time!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable vegetarian restaurant, and it was truly a culinary delight. The food was exquisitely prepared, offering a delightful array of flavors that left a lasting impression. The extensive menu was quite impressive, catering to a variety of preferences and palates.

One aspect that stood out was the affordability without compromising on quality. The prices were reasonable, making the experience even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. It's a gem that deserves recognition for its exceptional offerings.
They serve the most delicious hummus and falafel I've ever tasted. The portion sizes are impressively large and provide great value for money. The service is outstanding, with staff always ensuring that guests have the best dining experience. Overall, the food is more than amazing. This place is a must-visit for all food lovers out there.

I had dinner at this restaurant today with a friend and I must say, the experience was outstanding. The food was incredibly tasty, and the portion sizes were generous enough to be filling. The quality of the meals we received was excellent, truly a testament to their high standards. Service was top-notch, with attentive and courteous staff. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience.
Food and atmosphere was great, a little pricey but in a good location so that's to be expected.
Really enjoyed the food here. Lovely people and massive portions. I thought I was ordering a sampler platter for 1 and it was 3 giant plates of food. So delicious, though!
BEYOND SHOCKING GUYS! PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS OVERWHLEMINGLY DISSAPOINTING! THE MEAT WAS FREEZING COLD AND 40 EURO OF KEBABS WERE TOTALLY UNEDIBLE. THE MANAGER THEN LIED ABOUT GIVEN US A REFUND.
It was our first time here and the service was excellent and the food delicious. One of my friends is a vegetarian . There was a great selection of vegetarian food. We will be back.
I have ordered Kufta Mashwi plate and shish Tauok plate via Deliveroo and the portion size of the meat was surprisingly little compared to the rest of the plate with the value of each plate which is 12 euros. I would buy wrap instead with 9 euros, that is better deal.
Sorry guys the taste was great but the portion is way less.

Nice place to dinner. Any uniform for the staff. Really tasty and colourful food. Good food recommendations. Pitas were really good and humus was delicious. Short but well selected wines menu. (Our wine was brought open to our table). Poor beers menu but you can bring your own drinks. To repeat and deserves a second chance.

Great service, wonderful food in a very decent prices. The best review would be if I tell you, that I forgot to take any photos of thr food after a trial bite- it was that tasty. I recommend grilled meats, tabbouleh, aubergine salad and best of the best- ayran which is exceptional. I love that there is no alcohol, since it is an authentic middle east place. Desserts were great as well, especially the one made out from melted cheese and semolina. Gorgeous place!
I asked for an extra sauce, but still the shawarma was rather dry and was lacking tomatoes. Meat (chicken) and other ingredients were good. If it had all that, I would say it was a solid 4 stars. Otherwise only 3 :(

Really fantastic casual Middle Eastern diner with lovely staff. The decor is really funky and you’re welcomed with smiles. The place is huge so the wait for a table wasn’t long.

We visited around the eid period and the atmosphere was really vibrant.

The food is exceptionally good. We tried the mudjadara (lentil rice) and the the mixed grill. The meat was really well cooked, tender, and juicy. The mudjadara was delightfully light and tasty mix of lentils and rice (a very comforting combo for many cultures). the crispy onions that go with the mudjadara added to the texture. Food is very reasonably priced as well and portion size is generous.

Gutted to not have had the space to try the knafeh. It looked delicious and unlike any other I’ve seen in Dublin. I’ll be back for some of that and more!

The meat is juicy and the salad is perfectly how it should be.
I am so glad to find that authentic persian joint
From ambience, service and food everything were spot on. This is such a humble restaurant at the heart of portobello. We tried the Hummus, falafel and halloumi grilled starters- tasted amazing. I’ve been to other Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurants and the hummus and falafel tastes different from other places but good different in terms of taste. Aubergine mousakka was soothing , I had the dish by itself (rice is undercooked for my liking, probably that’s how it’s cooked traditionally-no problem) Chicken Shish it was juicy and succulent!! All of the salads and pickles were delicious too.
Delicious food and friendly staff, I really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.
I came here with my friends and had an amazing experience! Loved the decor, the food was delish and the service was top notch. We also had the hookah and everything reminded me of the middle east where I grew up. The desserts were the best, I'd die for the kunafeh. Must visit for a good meal!!

The best restaurant ever I visited in Dublin for Mediterranean food.
I visited them twice in the last two days.
All stuff are smily, very welcoming and ready to help especially the chiefs.
The decor and atmosphere is amazing with nice music especially the garden area.
The menu is full of options with affordable prices and they have also a pizza corner (Zatar) outside in the garden.
I highly recommend it for anyone looking for Mediterranean and Halal food or for a Shisha lounge.

Atmosphere:
The decor and set up is beautiful.

Price:
Great value for very tasty food.

Food:
Completely Halal.
Exceptional Quality of food, drinks and desserts. Authentic in taste, delicious and very satisfying.

We ordered a few starters: Arayes, Spicy Wings, Classic Hummus, Chicken Roll, as well as Lamb Manaeesh followed by their fresh mint leaves black tea and Knafeh. Everything was super fresh and very tasty.

Service and Staff:
Incredible service by very polite and welcoming staff. Food was warm and served timely.

Have to say this has become one of my favourite places here in Dublin. I am also very happy to see they have changed their times and will now be open until later.

Thank you to the whole team for always being so attentive to the needs of their customers :).

Flavorful food in an eclectic outdoor setting. We shared the small mezze platter and the chicken skewers and it was perfect for two! Make sure to get the lemonade and finish up with a Turkish coffee! Super fun atmosphere in a more quiet part of the city, a true gem! I will definetly return when I’m back in Dublin!
I had a great experience in Rotana Cafe. I went there for dinner with my boyfriend and we loved our food. It was a different experience as I am quite new to Lebanese cosine, but for sure I will be back!
There is also a plate with many "starters" that you have the chance to experiment everything almost.. really good!

One of the best places here in Dublin if you are looking for Mediterranean food. They have a variety of options in their menu.

Food quantity is good and taste was nice, ambiance is also captivating. From the front the resto looks small but if you go inside they have good space. A nice place to hangout and enjoy good food and drinks with friends. I highly recommend in place in spring and summer. Overall a good experience.

An impulsive last minute stop at this cosy little restaurant for a mixed shawarma platter with rice. The meat was lovely, and portion size was generous. The sauces added that extra zing to the rice and the salad with pickled peppers were great too!

Visiting Dublin and as a Persian, I had to try this place. I ordered the Chollo Kebab meal. It included 2 skewers of kebab, rice, 2 roasted tomatoes, chips with dip, a drink, and a plate of onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers, all for 22 euros. I’m used to paying more in the US so perhaps the price point was not as big of a deal for me as it was for other reviewers.

I’ll preface by saying that I’m extremely picky when it comes to Persian restaurants. However, the kebabs were cooked to perfection. They were thoroughly cooked through yet very tender. It was quite a large portion size, even coming from a tourist from the States.

All-in-all, I left stuffed and satisfied. Would definitely recommend Zeytoon. I’m hoping to go back to try their doner!

If your looking for a vegetarian 🥗 options then this is a place to check out in the centre of Dublin City 🏙️. The place is set out quite nicely and the food when ready is bought out to your table. Super fresh foods on offer all Middle Eastern cuisine. It’s a falafel food place which is really nice for those who don’t want to eat any meat 🍖 dishes. Falafels super nice and fresh and made to order. Stuffed vine leave and mixed salad 🥗 with pitta bread. The baba ghanoush is a dish to order which we had to, it’s a must. Check it out and have a day off from eating meat 🥩 😂.

always eating in Taytoon on Parliament st . , but this is my first time on Camden st , it was an awful experience. decided to have my lunch break there , I ordered Beef Shish , and the meet was raw . I went to the guy I have ordered from, and spoked to him quietly and respectfully . he told me that will change , I’ve waited for 20 minutes, but nothing has changed, then they came to me and asked me to take the food myself and to show it to chef again , and I did , he just looked at me without saying nothing at all , even didn’t say sorry, didn’t say I’ll change it for you . and I just went out silently, cause I had to back to work… very disappointed.

Mixed shawarma (lamb + chicken), and arayes

The mixed shawarma was delicious, flaky, tender slices of chicken and lamb meat with ample veg and pickles to keep things refreshingly light, with sumac, garlic and sauce giving everything a balanced wrap for under €10. The wrap itself was slightly toasted giving it a wonderful outer crisp crunch.

The arayes though, are amazing and the main star - even for a side. For €5.50 you get a pile of spiced lamb-stuffed flatbread. These are juicy and wonderfully spiced, with full flavour and a gentle hum of heat coming from the spices in the lamb mince. I would definitely just get this plus sides next time! 👏
Tasty food! I had the Mixed Grill Mezze along with the Jerusalem Coffee. The portion was reasonable & the hummus + garlic mayo accompanied the dish well! All the meat was cooked perfectly & the chicken wings were some of the best that I've had! The coffee was dessert-like with the whipped cream but still packed a punch with the flavour. Would recommend this place!

One of the yummiest falafel restaurant located in Rathmines, County Dublin.

Palestinian Falafel is very nice and some of their traditional sweets such as Baklawa and Basbusa are good too.
Have visited two days ago and will definitely be visiting again to try other foods. The food was delicious, the manager was so welcoming and staff were nice too. Even the design and decoration of the restaurant has reminded me of my home country which was cool. I'd highly recommend Jerusalem Restaurant. Thanks for the great service and wish you all the best!

Tried the grilled Halloumi cheese wrap and baklawa. Wrap was good but nothing I’d try again, baklawa was way too sweet for my liking, and I eat a lot of sweet. Overall okay experience.
Amazing food and lovely staff, they did everything they could to make sure we were always comfortable and happy.
Highly recommending the samosa and the chicken. Absolutely lovely, will go again!

I'm a very very fussy eater and have been eating here for years, the restaurants have all recently had full refits, camden Street My local branch looks excellent and is so much more inviting and now fit's in well with the areas new uber hipster image. Looks great. Keep up the good work. Oh by the way you have changed the seasoning on the fries.....excellent choice. Love it. Highly recommended.

Loved the menu, really nice to experience a different style of cuisine. Service very nice. All food freshly cooked, gorgeous flavours with fresh herbs and spices. Excellent value for Dublin.
Staff was really friendly. We enjoyed the food. Great place to eat. Atmosphere is really nice and clean. Only problem for us was the prices because they were higher than what they show in their online menu.

Great food. Authentic vibe. Good service: attentive, and reasonably quick. Priced similarly to other restaurants in the area.

Overall, decent value for money:
Three adults shared one "mezze for two" + two starters + two desserts, we were stuffed, and paid a little less than €80.
Very good place. Can be a little bit pricey for some dishes (small portions) but very tasty. Loved the mixed grill, the falafel full of flavor and yummy hummus and the halloumi bread. You can bring your own wine too. Friendly staff too.
service right from when we entered was super, really friendly! The lunch menu is a little bit smaller than the full evening menu but there is still plenty to choose from!
The lunch we had was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be visiting again!

Affordable, friendly and extremely tasty. Umi Falafel has been my go to place for years and it’s never stopped being amazing. They have all their vegan options (of which there are many) well labeled, I would recommended a stop here regardless of your dietary choices!

Great place to fully enjoy vegan food! Meal for €8 – sandwich of choice + small salad + tea / coffee. For me one sandwich – Palestinian falafel would be enough, though. It’s so filling. Good place for quick lunch. Stuff is helpful and nice.
