I booked the Saturday cocktail masterclass as a Christmas present for my Husband. It was a great afternoon. The host was so knowledgeable, there was no question he could not answer and then some. He really made it with his depth of knowledge. The cocktails were amazing and we made them ourselves. We were both very impressed by the afternoon and really enjoyed it. It was also very reasonably priced. Looking forward to going back here.

The music was nice, but the manager was rude. We got kicked out for pointing out that there was no alcohol added to the cocktails. The manager got so aggressive that he started arguing without any respect.
Yamamori was a pleasant surprise. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, offering a good range of dishes. I enjoyed the flavors and found the overall experience to be enjoyable. Service was friendly and attentive.

I’ve eaten regular box with salmon norimaki, miso soup, lamb curry, korrokke. The plate has a very different taste from each of it, every bite of mine was surprising taste and delicious. The miso soup was less taste but first time tried that maybe my sense is not same like you so you can still try 🥰. Service was very kind.

Quiet christmas eve. Ordered 4 drinks. They took the money. Waited 15 minutes. Enquired politely about the drinks. No apology, "we're very busy" said the cranky barman in a half empty bar. Manager stepped in aggressively and said "you can have your money back or you can sit down and wait." We sat down, 5 minutes later we took our money back and left. Do they know that they work in hospitality? Worst service we ever experienced in ireland or anywhere.
Awesome, this was our first pub we visited in Dublin and we had a great time, we didn't try the food, only came here for the live music and drinks. The band, duo, playing were just great, creating very good "irish" atmosphere and the people as well, with singing and clapping along with Irish songs. We didn't have any issue getting inside (even though there was a security guard outside), the drinks are maybe more expensive, but it is also written on the drinks menu that in time of live events, music, prices might be higher. For our country standards it is pretty expensive (from 8-10 € for a pint of beer), but as I have no reference, I can't say for sure if this is expensive or not for Ireland or Dublin standards, but even so we had a great time. Also staff was friendly and the bartender gave us some recommendations about which Irish beer to try (besides Guinness).
What an absolute gem. We had a lovely meal here. Food, drinks and service amazing. Would definitely return when in Dublin. Shout out to a great team

Excellent bar, with drinks and live music. Atmosphere felt very authentic and true to Ireland. Great alternative to temple bar if it’s packed in there, just come a few steps down to here.

I’ve been drinking in the Blackbird since it opened many years ago. I’ve had fantastic nights there and went back recently because their beer selection is always ace! Though, I don’t remember it being as incredibly loud as it is now, but that’s just old age! Deffo a pub I recommend to beer lovers visiting Dublin. Pricey, loud, busy but worth it I think!

Excellent neighbourhood pub. Cosy, lively & proactive with quizzes, multi screen sports, & live music. Sad to see the craft beer selection declining but there's always at least one rotating tap. Would be great to see food service again. Nonetheless it's well worth a visit to enjoy the real deal classy Dublin pub.

This speakeasy bar is located in the basement of an Italian restaurant. Booking in advance would be recommended, if one wants to visit the cocktail bar/restaurant.

While the staff was very friendly they were neither attentive nor caring. Never have I been lacking drinks in a cocktail bar.
Initially we ordered cocktails and they have been great. Then we got food which has been very good too. During our meal we ordered a beer, a glass of wine and a whiskey and have not received anything for the next 30 minutes. The total seating is around 30 seats and there were 3 waiters working simultaneously. So it should not have been too much to handle. We didn’t complain about the lack of drinks as we saw it as an opportunity to also leave rather quickly. Because of the stone walls and overall small space it was extremely loud in there. Noise due to music or regular conversation noise was not the issue but because of the setup everyone had to scream over the next one in order to be heard.

They scam foreigners here. Be careful when you pay with your card. Or ask for a receipt. I ordered two Irish coffees. The first one cost 7.65 euros and the second one cost 8.50 euros. It was the same day and it hasn't even been four minutes I ordered. Be careful.

Was having a chat with a female friend after my first pint and the barman told us to calm down and stopped serving us. What for I have no idea, we were having a chat. I see another review below had the same thing happen to them. Barman made a right fool of himself anyway. Don't bother drinking here,

This room is much smaller than it appears, which is not a huge issue. But it smelled of urine. If you’re looking to go to the pubs till closing this is the place for you, if you’re looking for some rest the price was high. Ear plugs were included in the stay because it was so loud at night in the room. The water pressure was great.
Delicious food and great service! I recommend booking a table beforehand, as it gets very busy, especially after 7 pm. We shared a lamb shank main and a chowder starter, as we're both small eaters, and it came out to around €19 per person. The lamb was tender, and the seafood chowder was so creamy and flavorful!
Literally the best ramen I've had in 20 years. Hreat atmosphere and interior and amazing service. Spicy Asian cocktail was on point. Best dinning experience I've had in years I think I'm going back tomorrow.
What a cool little place! Make sure you book ahead - when we were there it was reservations only. And read the instructions on how to find it!
Cosy little bar, with helpful snd knowledgeable staff. We only stayed for drinks but the food looked good.
Loved this place! We were seated immediately, our server was great, and the food was delivered within minutes piping hot. We ordered the Slow Cooked Beef & Guinness Stew with mashed potatoes and the warm bread rolls and dip. The stew had great flavor and was enough for two. The bread came with three dips: potato salad, blue cheese, and pesto. I wish the bread had been warmed up, but it was still good. We also ordered the bread and butter pudding and the trio of ice cream. The trio came with vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream with strawberry sauce on the side. The bread pudding was delicious!

The stew came so quickly and looked so good I forgot to get a photo of it!

We arrived a little early for our booking but that seemed to be no problem.

Service was friendly and relaxed. Orders came very promptly. Food was top notch. Our table had a mix of everything and it was all very well received.

Will go again.

Cozy atmosphere in the city centre of Dublin. Temple Bar nést door crowded and touristy but in Crowbar a lot of space and fair prices. Guinness for 7,5€.. Enjoyed the times here really much.

Great atmosphere and delicious and creative cocktails, "cast away" was my favourite.
Also service was very quick and the book nook looked super cozy.
Definitely a nice place to visit in Dublin.
Fun food experience at the Quays Dublin! I liked their menu and pasta a lot. The pasta was creamy and delicious. It’s very loud and chaotic here but that’s what made it fun. Everyone is welcoming at this place. The wait time is long - we had to wait about 30 mins to get a table and there are a few vegetarian options on the menu. Still, highly recommend this amazing place for a group dinner.

Outstanding Customer Service at Black Bird A Special Thanks to Ross

I had the pleasure of visiting Black Bird on Saturday, October 19th, and was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding customer service provided by Ross. From the moment I arrived, Ross showed incredible enthusiasm and was very communicative, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the experience truly enjoyable.

He took the time to guide me through the different types of beer that Black Bird offers and was extremely helpful in helping me choose the best option. His knowledge and passion for his work were evident, and I couldn’t have asked for better service.

Huge congratulations to Ross and Black Bird for upholding such high standards of customer care. I will definitely be back, thanks to this excellent experience!

Had fun here, went for McDonalds, came back more sober than we left and then got refused entry even though we were absolutely fine and had 10 friends inside…everyone had to leave, bouncer made no sense and couldn’t explain what he meant. Disappointing.

Rooms were a bit small, but OK. Temple bar is rather "lively" and the walls are thin, meaning that you will be up until the pubs close. In retrospect, this was hinted at on the website. We were mostly disappointed in the large amount of mildew in the room and on the curtains themselves. They were not responsive to an email outlining this issue, but I am attaching the pictures below. Seems like it might be a nice fit for people wanting to stay up late and don't mind mildew?

Did not expect to find a place like this in Dublin. Super cute place, super cozy, with some really nice drinks.
You would think the prices would be crazy, but they are actually very standard for Dublin, which was a pleasant surprise.

Highly recommend!
We loved this place so much we only had 3 nights in Dublin and went here 2 days in a row!! Our first day was absolutely FABULOUS and we had such excellent service from" Paulo " hopefully I'm spelling and remembering him correctly with the most friendly smile I wanted him to join us! We were so lucky to come eat at off time and relax with immediate seating at our choice next to window and NOT busy like the next day where the waitress insisted we HAD to order at least one entree making NO sense because we ended up spending less the second night than the first night ordering several appetizers and drinks. I would give 4 stars for this waitress but Paulo was so excellent so why I wanted to give a " shout out!" And say what a nice experience we had at an early dinner to get out of the cold and have the excellent seafood soup and clams etc. highly recommend this restaurant. We had hoped to order dessert but ended up too full both times so guess we will have to wait and fly thousands of miles from across world just to come back and try dessert and see Paulo again!! I also want to say how much I loved his suggestion to try the local Dublin or Irish Beer I think called "Kilkiny" or something similar...a new favorite

Much Aloha we will pass the good news to all our American and Hawaiian friends.

Service is hands down 10/10 and one of the best I’ve had in a bar around the world! Sean the bartender really wants you to enjoy your drink and had a positive experience. He is genuinely interested in what you want /like in a drink and really accommodated my friend and I. Super friendly and helpful as was the other staff members. Lovely bar with great music And affordable prices considering the professionalism and high standards. This bar rivals and exceeds any top tier speak easy or bar in 5 star establishments around the world. 🌏 great job lads- ye are playing a blinder! I recommend the zombie and the noinin- margarita!
Today was my first time at Yamamori, and I’m speechless! The atmosphere is amazing, the food is excellent, and the service is exceptional. I’ll definitely be back because I wanted to try more, but I was already full. The drinks are delicious, and the food is perfect, made with incredibly fresh ingredients. It’s easily one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Dublin.

I would also like to highlight the outstanding service from Sumaya, who was very attentive, explained everything in detail, and was incredibly friendly. The restaurant’s manager was also very welcoming and hospitable!
Flavorful traditional Irish food right in the heart of Temple Bar district. Had the Irish stew which exceeded our expectations and had a more than generous amount of lamb. Also the fish and chips was excellent service was on point and friendly well done ! Highly recommended 👌
We came across this place after having a drink at the temple bar near by. We sat upstairs for dinner and were very pleased! Good food and a nice little view from a window right by our table. I was especially excited that they had several gluten free options and a gluten free beer. Definitely recommend!

The ambience is wonderful, super furnishings. There is enough space for larger groups. The service is also simply marvellous, everything is taken care of, there is nothing to complain about. The food is just as marvellous as in the pictures. The temperature was perfect, as were the flavours. The ramen and yakitori are highly recommended. If you are there in a group, you should expect to pay a higher service charge.

Very relaxing but stylish atmosphere, great selection of drinks with nice prices especially considering the location in the city center. Loved the idea of cocktails range named all after well-known movies. On the photo is White Chicks and yeah it was the best drink of the night. Fruity and sweet. Black Pearl is served in a nice way but you can barely taste anything but rum. Cast away was decent...Fight Club my personal no, but depends on your preferences ofc.
The service was good, but guys please warn people that the table is reserved when they sit down. We were asked to move at some point which is not big a deal but it'd have been nice to know about it in advance IMHO. That's the only reason I'm giving 4* for service

Mediocre pub, overpriced. Door guy seemed like the most dangerous guy there, like he was looking for trouble, and i was just in there at lunchtime with my wife! Someone else in the reviews dropped a picture of the guy, saying his group had problems with him too. Bar staff were attentive, but pretty rude. With so many other amazing places near by, I wouldn't bother. I'd definitely avoid if you're a tourist.

Dropped in for a lunch. Fish and chips could have been better. It was just a bit bland, even if the fish was nice. The batter didn’t taste all that great through. A piece of lettuce serves as a side/salad. Burger looked amazing though.

Nice interior - quite dark and cozy. Staff was quite neutral but friendly as they warmed up to you a bit. Reasonable pricing and good beer.

Would visit if I was there and needed a beer or lunch asap. Maybe wouldn’t intentionally go there though. It was OK :)

I recently visited this famous establishment, the name of the street on which it is located. It was full of people but they still found us a table for lunch (I guess for dinner it will be much more difficult). The quality of service and food was good. The salmon dish is definitely worth it and I highly recommend it. The music was live and one hundred percent soul-pleasing. Well done people

So glad we (literally) found this spot! (It's to the right of the double staircase in case you miss it!)

Jo was our fabulous bartender and she was so patient with our questions about the bar itself, the drinks, the menu, etc. The drinks were all excellent. But our favorites were the Boogie Nights and White Chicks! Would definitely stop in again!
The fish and chips were fantastic. Nice and hot and oh so crispy! Great ale to top it off.
Sadly the service was a little lacking. The restaurant was so busy that it took half as long as it did to finish the wonderful meal, to get the check then find someone to cash me out. One the plus side, solo dinning is not an issue. There was a high top table or regular tables, whichever I wanted. There were several other solo dinners as well.
The restaurant is upstairs so it is not wheelchair friendly and it is typical of most pub style restaurants, snuggly packed, especially at dinner.

I love this pub!. Great and neighbourly banter with the added bonus of doggos 🐶 🤩 hanging about.

Met Jack, the Jack Russell...I'm your Rose, ring me ☎️!
Not many pubs can be called romantic - but this one definitely is. It is very dark ( mostly light comes from candles ), music is very loud and the crowd looked young. There is a possibility to get a pizza from the place nearby. The selection of drinks is great : beers, wines etc.
We just had cocktails, but sat at the bar and got a great view of cocktails being prepared. Excellent recommendations from the barman and would highly recommend a visit. We’re taking some friends with us for a return visit in 2 weeks.

Stopped by here randomly on the way back to the place we were staying while in Ireland. Still to this day, years later, I think about this place and the vibe. Wish I could go here everyday but unfortunately I don’t live anywhere near here.
A vibrant spot with great live music and a solid selection of drinks. The bartenders were incredibly attentive, remembering your order even with a crowd around.

The security team was welcoming and made you feel safe in the bustling environment. The rest of the staff were also friendly and went out of their way to make your visit outstanding.
The staff is very sweet and friendly. The food was good but I think the sushi could be a little better. And I was very upset that there were no veggie rolls on the menu. They brought ice cream for my birthday but there were no candles :( It was still a sweet surprise, thank you.

The pub as the name suggests has dark and dim light interiors all tables under candle light. The pub has a great selection of drinks. It's a great place to hand out with friends, and they provide decent selection of board games to enjoy as a group.

They have limited food options. They get their food from Uno pizza from across the road. So not much options other than pizza. That being said pizza's are really good.

Great place for pizza and drinks and to catch up with friends.
Booked in advance so as not to be disappointed. Booked for drinks only.
Sat at the bar , best place to sit. Watched all the cocktails being mixed and very informative, friendly bar man explained his craft and helped us choose from the extensive cocktail menu. The fun was in the finding of this hidden bar and soaking up the atmosphere and live music.

Best to visit in weekends. Parking in these areas is very difficult to find.Stocks of different types of beers and liquor. Its next to temple bar and a safe place with less crowds.
This was an exceptional experience. I am super happy that I was able to find reservations to be able to go here. The speakeasy part (hidden doors) was so fun, but opened up into a large functional and comfortable atmosphere. I loved the attention to detail with things like the custom stained glass. Onto the menu and drinks. Wow. There wasn’t a thing on this menu that we tried that wasn’t amazing. I regret not getting a food AND drinks reservation to be able to stay for longer and try more beverages, plus, the aroma of the food was overwhelmingly good. The service was great and the cocktails were extremely well balanced and just solid. I really look forward to going back to this place to try other things. They also have cocktails available for takeaway.

I went to Blackbird with a couple of friends for a meet up. They have a wide range of alcohols to choose from. I ordered double shots of gin with tonics and my friends went for the ginger beer.

The pub gets really busy in the evenings especially on weekends, however this place serves a very happening and cosy vibe. Their staff is very friendly and quick to serve.

They serve Pizzas, however they’re brought from the next door Neapolitan pizza shop - UNO Pizzas and they are super to taste. We ordered the margarita and hot honey pizza. Both the pizzas were yumm, however the hot honey was a super sweet pizza.

One of my “MUST VISIT PUB”recommendations.

Crowbar, stocks a vast array of craft beer, international beers, a hand-picked selection of whiskey's and gins, a long and assorted list of spirits, wine and cocktails.

Crowbar is situated in the centre of Dublin's Temple Bar. As the last bastion of sanity before the madness and tourist traps that flood the area, Crowbar offers you a safe haven.

recently had the pleasure of visiting The Hill Pub in Ranelagh during my trip to Dublin, and it turned out to be an exceptional experience that I won't soon forget. As a tourist, I was looking for an authentic Irish pub atmosphere, and The Hill Pub delivered in every aspect.

Upon entering, I was immediately captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub had a cozy and traditional feel, with charming decor that perfectly complemented its character. The friendly staff greeted me with a smile, making me feel right at home.

One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service. The staff members were attentive, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations for both food and drinks.

Speaking of the menu, the food at The Hill Pub was simply outstanding. I indulged in some traditional Irish dishes, including a hearty and flavorsome Irish stew that left me craving for more. The attention to detail in the presentation and the use of fresh, local ingredients truly elevated the dining experience.

As a beer enthusiast, I was delighted by the wide selection of drinks available. The Hill Pub boasted an impressive variety of both local and international beers on tap, satisfying even the most discerning beer connoisseurs. The staff was more than happy to offer suggestions based on my preferences, further enhancing my enjoyment.

The Hill Pub also impressed me with its live entertainment. I was lucky enough to catch a captivating live music performance, showcasing talented local musicians. The lively atmosphere and the infectious energy of the crowd created an unforgettable evening that immersed me in the true spirit of Irish pub culture.

Located in the charming neighborhood of Ranelagh, The Hill Pub is conveniently accessible, adding to its appeal. Whether you're a local or a tourist like me, this pub is a must-visit when in Dublin.

In conclusion, my experience at The Hill Pub in Ranelagh was nothing short of exceptional. From the inviting atmosphere and attentive service to the delicious food, wide drink selection, and live entertainment, this pub exceeded all my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic Irish pub experience that will leave a lasting impression
