Had dinner in House last night with friends, did not stay over. Excellent service, food and ambience. Good selection on menu, good space left between courses and not rushed despite the restaurant being busy. Great atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
We were searching for a fish & chips to eat. Around 13h30.
For starters we tried hot chicken wings : not good. The meal is not marinated. Only a added sauce topped on them.
Fish and chip was desappointed too. All is non home made - not the fish, nor all sauces and chips.... bad taste at the end (photo show the textures)
And the maintenance seems not to be relevant (see toilets photo - dangerous). Even water leaks ... as it was not important for the planet.

Adorable hotel with outstanding service. There was a small miscommunication with my reservation, and I was met with warmth and understanding. They went above and beyond to make sure I could stay another night and really saved me a lot of trouble! I believe the woman who helped me the most was named Stephanie (or Samantha?)
Pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. The food is fairly ordinary though and takes a long time to arrive. A salad took over an hour to arrive. Not very large portion sizes for the price. The beers were very good. Overall, it's nice but mid.
The food is great and the staff are fantastic but for some reason the DJ on a Saturday night incrementally turns up the music until you can't hold a conversation with the person next to you and everyone leaves.
Come 10:30 half the seats are empty because of it, it's baffling especially when neighboring pubs jammed till closing.

Nice restaurant with a nice menu but the service wasn’t great. We had to go and find someone to take our order. It was a Tuesday night so it was not busy.

Great hotel! Fantastic location - easily reached to and from the airport via the 700 bus (stop is Embassy of Malta👍🏻). Gorgeous interiors, lovely friendly staff, breakfast was delicious.
Really great value for money. A friend and I shared a twin , it was cosy but perfectly formed. Everything we needed.Thoroughly recommend, would definitely go back . X

My partner and I recently got engaged and booked in for brunch to celebrate, just the two of us. Upon arrival, the staff were so friendly and congratulated us. They sent us down two glasses of prosecco on the house and sent us over a mince pie with a candle in it and 'happy engagement' written in chocolate. It was honestly such a lovely gesture and every staff member we dealt with was so welcoming and lovely. I ordered the vegan burger and it was delicious. We will definitely be back again!
Nice food but one staff came to our table just to remind us it’s needed for a reservation, twice, with 10 min left ( table was empty anyway at this stage and no setting up was done afterwards as we moved to a different table and noticed this) . Another one ran outside together with the manager, claiming we didn’t pay our bill. I had to return inside and show them receipt. I’m sorry I tipped… Do better guys. Nothing but a rushed “sorry” was offered.
We had a fabulous meal here and the service was exquisite. Our server Diego made the experience so personable and special. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our experience here so memorable.

We got the bottomless, brunch which was just mimosas and that was great, no complaints from me here.
We then got the wings, they were nice too, pretty standard.
We got the Alfredo with chicken. It was very bland for our personal taste buds, and unfortunately it wasn’t a salt and pepper job.
The desserts were lovely however.

Another brilliant time here! The food is absolutely gorgeous and the portions are huge! There are so many lovely cocktails to choose from. The staff here are so so lovely also the service we got was brilliant! We were checked on so much throughout our meals and the staff are just so friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, can’t wait to come back!
Worst experience ever!
We booked our table for 3 at 10:45am more than a week before. When we arrived at the venue, a staff asked us if we have a reservation. She said she's going to look into it then left and never came back. A different guy then came to us and ask us again if we have a reservation. Finally, he brought us to "the garden" and brought us to an unmade two tables with just 2 chairs in it. He turned on the heating then leaves without even fixing the other crooked chair. After a few minutes, another staff came with the utensils, menu, and a pitcher of water with no glasses asking us if it is our first time there. We said it is and she said "What? Do you guys know that this is a "Celebrity Place"? We said we dont care about celebrities, we just want our food then she left. And then came the rudest staff asking for our orders. I asked her if we can still wait for a few minutes because our other friend is still parking her car. She then said "just to let you know that the kitchen is closing at 11." So we placed our orders then she left. When she came back with our coffee, we asked her why are we thrown outside when clearly there are some tables inside. She then said "we're full and very busy. If you want you can sit on the bar." We asked her if she can turn off the heating as it was very hot and it was right above our table. She said are you sure? Then said ok i will turn off then left. Then our order came brought in by the staff who brought in the menu. She placed the plates on our table and the last one was just lazily placed in the middle of the two tables and said enjoy and left. When our friend arrived, we then we asked for the manager who came to us and explained that they had a lot of walk ins and it was their fault. He apologized and said that he will talk to the staff. When the two staff came back after at different times, they were very nice and all smiley. They gave us 3 cups of coffee as an apology. Food was good but NEVER EVER coming back here!

Only went here for lunch as a Christmas party. The food was good but it may be too fancy for some. 8 euro extra charge for steak. I got the chicken but the steak looked decent! The mains were good. Starters a bit on the small side but I guess that's what a starter should be (not too big) so you are able for the rest of the meal. The decor is very old world chic style (a lot of pink and velvet). The lighting is low so some needed to use their phone cameras to see the menu (plus it was quite small print). We all got our drinks first. Then it wasn't long before the starters came. We had reserved so they must have had the food preped as we were not waiting long between courses. Plus another booking was after us so we wouldn't be able to hang about too long after finishing. Great as I hate it when you are waiting too long between courses. It can be awkward to keep conversation flowing unless you keep drinking! Overall I award 4 stars, just a mark off for the few flaws mentioned.
We booked for 1230H lunch, and bec of traffic we kept calling before before 1230 to let them know we will be late but no answer which is fine maybe bec they r busy. We arrived 1315, and when we arrived, we're greeted that we were late (which we acknowledged) and told they were super busy. I understand they are busy, and so all businesses at this time of the year. It was the tone of the receptionist that made the joyfull atmosphere gone. We felt, and they didnt fail to make us feel that our presence made their busyness 'worse'. I felt 'because of you, things go really bad. When the server went to our table to take orders, her 1st line of words were ' I hope you guys are ready to order are we are really busy'. And I said, we'll jz go for appetizers and drinks if its too much for them. So we did. At the end, the server said, 'oh you have to get at least a main otherwise ill move you to the bar'. This server is mental. The whole place was mental. Our food were served at 1350, and was asked to pay the bill at 1410. Talking about munching in everything quickly. Maybe the table was reserved for another booking after then, but we know they keep taking walk ins, clearly they have enough table to let us sit for more minutes. But here we are.
So it was a lesson learned for us. Either come early, or come in late and face the rude and unprofessional attitudes of the staff and the consequence of it.

We got suggestion to visit the place but were dissapointed..nice location and the bar and all building but the food expectations were higher.

They over charged us on our first round which was awkward. Venue looks lovely but the function room we were in closed earlier than they advised and when we were relocated to another space the staff never delivered bar stools they advised they would bring. Wrong gin brought to one in our party and when staff were advised we were met with a shrug and then they walked off.
Overall first impression wasn't great but will try again mid week and see if the service is better when the staff aren't so rushed off their feet.
For a drink with 1-5 friends seems fine but I'd avoid for functions based on our experience and the poor quality food we were served.

I am an American Citizen and I happened to stay at the MALDRON HOTEL in Dublin, Ireland. I had the worse experience as a tourist in terms of losing my passport. Simon and Letizia have been professional and helpful of letting me print out some important documents for obtaining my potential emergency passport. I give them all my respect and honor.
Experience not to be missed when in Dublin. One may also taste non alcoholic Guinness. I didn't though🤣

Firstly:
I came with my family for Sunday dinner, plus one of my friends. We got seated next to a big group of people who were screaming for an hour so that we could not hear anything of our conversations (not restaurants fault, but they should tell them to turn it down).
Secondly:
We ordered 12 oysters, and I am sad to say that 4/6 people in our company got REALLY bad food poisoning. We haven’t been able to get out of bed for the last 48 hours. Also last time I came to Roberta’s the oysters tasted funny. Do you understand how bad the quality/freshness is if 4/6 people get food poisoning from 12 oysters? This implies (given some assumptions), that 8/12 oysters that night were bad unacceptable).
Thirdly:
I would say that it took on average 20/25 minutes for every round of drinks to arrive. At one point, my friend ordered a hop house and I seriously think it took 30 minutes for it to arrive.
Fourthly:
The service is non existent. When food arrives, there is no explanation whatsoever of what we are about to eat. They put down 3 different kind of oysters and then leave us guessing what we’re about to eat. They put down cod with a delicious sauce and different vegetables, and we have no idea what we’re putting in our mouths. We also constantly had to call waiters to our table to order more drinks. I would expect this level of service at a pub, not a restaurant marketed as fine dining.
That’s the end of my rant. If oysters wouldn’t have killed us, maybe 3/5. Big disappointment. If everything tasted like the cod, and the service was better, this could be a really good restaurant.

The food was very expensive, it took more than 30 minutes where the egg in my sandwich was over cooked, we also ordered nachos which were practically taken out of the bag and they put a little avocado and sauce on it, really bad, and to top it off Finally, the waitress's attention was very unpleasant, according to the receipt,so bad experience, I wouldn’t go again.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Mr. Alfredo was incredibly supportive and responsive when I encountered some issues during my visit. His assistance made my stay much more comfortable, and I greatly appreciate his help.

By foot it is like 15minutes away from temple bar and bunch of shopping streets.
The hotel itself was really good, the room was clean and you had tea and some instant coffee and a boiler in the room, which I always appreciate.
The beds are comfortable and also the shower was pleasant and included some shower gel. Apart from that there were no other extras like a tooth brush or skin products that you sometimes see.
The breakfast was also a good deal in my eyes - it’s a rich buffet with fruit, English breakfast, cereal and pastry. For 15€ per person the offer was very fair (I‘d at least try it if I were you)
The staff was also always super friendly and forthcoming so for the service part I‘d give a 10/10
All in all super content with the Hotel!

I want to say first that the lady that served us was amazing. Perfect skills for a waitress. Attentive, friendly, sweet, very professional, made you feel that everything is amazing. She made good recommendations on everything and I think she was the only lady on the floor but absolutely lovely.
Food was just unreal. The best Burrata I ever tasted in my life. Better the one I tasted in France and proper like Italy.
We had Lamb - beautiful ( I recommend different sides as spinach doesn't work with juicy lamb)
The Charcuterie Board Selection is absolutely delicious.
Cacio ‘E’ Pepe is the best on the menu.

We went to Nolita for Sunday lunch. Everything from our order was fresh and delicious. All our food was ready on our table very fast. Medium rare steak was soft and juicy. I believe we have been served by a manager and he done great job recommending lovely desserts. You have to try tiramisu and chocolate brownie they are unreal 🤤
We’ve been in Dublin for a week (from Chicago area). While none of our food experiences have been bad, they have been unremarkable. On our last night in Ireland, we decided to stop in to Brookwood. What an amazing little find!! Cozy atmosphere, excellent staff, we had drinks (dirty martini for me). I had the oysters (3) which were fantastic. I had the 10 oz Ribeye and Parmesan/Truffle chips (fries for those of you from the US). They were seriously delicious!’ Hubby had the 10oz strip steak with garlic butter sauce and mashed potatoes. All of it was excellent!! Ready to go home tomorrow with a good meal in our bellies and if/when we make it back to Dublin, this will be our first stop.
Went here for a hen dinner and the atmosphere was great! Really surprising to go up the steps and then see the large atrium. Waiter was so nice and drinks came out fast enough. Lots to choose on the menu and all the starters were amazing! Quite enjoyed the fries with parma and garlic sauce I think it was? Overall would recommend :)

We were a large group so we had to opt for a 3 course set menu. There were options to suit everyone. I opted for carrot soup, 8 oz fillet and dark chocolate tart. The veg that came with the main course was the nicest veg I've ever had. We had our own private room for dining where staff checked on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. I really couldn't fault the experience. Highly recommend a visit!

Stayed at this hotel over 4 days and got incredible service from the Duty Manager Ian on Thursday 31st August 2023. I travelled with my family (including 2 kids) who have special dietary requirements, and we had food which needed to be refrigerated. Ian was most helpful in organising the mini fridge in our room. We were very grateful for his help- it made our stay so much easier! The rooms were very neat and tidy, good sized and well maintained. The staff over check in and check out were very professional, helpful and friendly. The location is a few minutes walk away from the town center.

Went here for a work do. We had the area upstairs referred to as the Whiskey bar. We had a variety of pizzas and some finger food. The Pizzas were not great, very soft and sloppy bases and the vegetarian ones namely the 4 cheese and the margherita were not particularly nice.
Atmosphere was great though. I'd say it's a good spot for drinks.

The Galway Bay Brewing Company’s outlet in Dublin. A large and interesting place with music and a good fish and chips. The brews are varied in styles but not that distinctive in taste . Most are at a lower abv then you would see in the US.
One of the best meals we have ever had in Dublin. We went for a family birthday and it was amazing! The family said the nicest pasta they have ever had. The portions were very big and every delicious. I recommend the burrata, Alfredo chicken and the spicy wings. The cocktails were also spectacular. At 9:30 the lights dimmed and the music started, really enjoyed bopping while eating desert! 10/10 recommend for any occasion.
I ordered my Friday night collection as per usual. Upon ordering over the phone I was told it would take 25 minutes, I arrived 24 minutes later to an extremely rude and irate staff member. The female staff member was obviously very unhappy when I arrived 1 minute early for my collection after greeting her nicely as I would to person - she raised her voice & grunted in reply to me “I SAID 25 MINUTES”. I was in shock & have never been treated as bad in a restaurant. I will be letting my 50 thousand followers online know also how rude the service was. il Corvo is a restaurant my family, friends & I have frequented a lot. We certainly wont be going anymore. You’ve lost 30+ loyal customers.
We came for the 3 course meal. Amazing service and portion sizes! We would definitely come back. The food was really good, and they have a lot of options to choose from. I recommend the lemon sponge cake as a dessert! Very kind and welcoming staff, I was very impressed.

The cocktail menu at Nolita is very good. They have some unique drinks and will also make the classics for you on request. After 10pm it becomes more of a club, everyone is dancing and they have a DJ/live artists for the music. There’s lots is seating space, mostly indoor. Would recommend booking a table in advance.
Absolutely exceptional restaurant. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The interior is very handsomely decorated with a relaxing vibe. The bar looks pretty awesome and will make you want to get one of ten cocktails. As for food, boy was this place everything I needed. The pizza was fantastic, only advice would be to cook the pork belly a little less to avoid it being too chewy. Overall, great place and loved the inclusivity and support for the lgbt community!
This is an very amazing place to meet friends 😀. Food is delicious and there are many vegetarian options available. Price is also reasonable for food. Ambience is nice staff is extremely polite and it is great place. Only thing after 10 music is very loud and one can not talk to their friends. Music after 10 was so loud you can hear it outside the gate also. Giving 4 star because of very loud music which made it difficult to talk to my friends.
Craft ale bar, just near to Dublin Castle, brewery tap of the Gallway Bay Brewery. Fantastic selection of craft ales, well worth a visit, especially if you fancy a change from Guinness. Prices not too bad for Dublin. Food available, but not selected on my recent visit. If you are not sure what beer to try I'd recommend a paddle of beer (4 x 1/3 glasses).
A cozy place for a Sunday roast. I would book a reservation. The staff was kind and hard working!
My family and I chose this hotel just for the breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The variety was insane-- SO many options to choose from. Everything was fresh as well, and the seating was great too. Aside from the amazing breakfast, the service was excellent too. I asked the front desk for an extra comforter, and one of the staff kindly hand-delivered two large ones straight to our room. Our room was spacious, the beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom was great. Overall, very a great experience!

Truly one of the best brand experiences, decor experiences and group moments I have had in all my travels. The Connoisseur Bar is well worth your time and money and will in some small ways ruin many other bars for you in the future by comparison. I would absolutely revisit again.
This experience was so worth the time and money. We learned history while tasting the products of Guinness. Colm O’Connor was are host. He went entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. This was class was a highlight of our Dublin days.

A wholesome lunch after a busy day. Christmas lights were stunning and the Shepherds Pie was exactly what I needed. Well looked after by Therese & Emiliano.
The somewhat unassuming exterior of Doyles free house belies a sophistication and revelry that until now one had suspected but not known might exist on this godly planet. A cocktail list that, whilst brief, is delivered with such bon homie would not be out of place in Harrys Bar or The Cipriani guest bar...The classic staple ' a pint of Guinness' is perhaps the best option here. Nibbles are available. With classics such as Tayto Crisps and KP Peanut,s dry roasted and salted no less. on the Carte d'jour... So. Do not drive by Doyles and dismiss it as another drab , dying country hostelry. This is the real deal!!
Staffs were so nice and food was so nice , big portions and loads of options you can pick from light sandwiches to big heavy meals. The price is also good. Atmosphere is so nice they have nice decorations and table design perfect for instagram. 3 adults with starter , main to dessert and 2 kids with mains and dessert €150 is a good price . ☺️💕 would definitely be back soon .
Food was absolutely delicious here! The chicken was perfectly juicy even though the portion was quite big (always welcome!) and the sauce with it was so good. Would definitely get it again. For dessert this bannoffee pie with a twist of orange zest was actually so amazing I'd go for it again too. Staff were lovely and the whole experience was great - the food came out fast and the ambience was good. It wasn't too noisy in there despite tables filling up.

Côte de Boeuf. Don’t order this meat at this restaurant. It doesn’t worth it.
I intended to order the Chateaubriand initially, and the waitress then came back telling me that they ran out of this cut and offered the Côte de Boeuf.
Based on my previous experiences in other steakhouses, I decided to go for it, and as you can see in the pictures, that in my humble opinion , is not a proper €90 cut of meat. (You can google the steak yourselves to see what I mean). There was too much fat in the piece and fibres that I couldn’t even chew and they also thrown the bone in like if I was going to scrape the meat out of it and eat it… really?
Chimichurri sauce was more oil than anything and the Béarnaise had a weird flavour… dunno just saying. Broccoli was okay and Caesar salad… well, it’s salad dressing from a bottle on top of a baby lettuce sliced in half.
I am not disqualifying this place with my review, I am just presenting my experience with this particular cut and nothing else. If you want to go for the Cote, please save your time and money and go somewhere else , or order something different.
In the end, the idea is that the restaurant reads these reviews and improve their quality and serve food and give a good experience , instead of just put a piece of meat onto a pan or plate and give it to their patrons…

A very nice restaurant. The ambience of the place is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. I really like the 'prawns la plancha', it's so good. Highly recommended. The place is a bit tight, but not too bad. The three course menu is around €60.
Such a lovely meal! The best steak I’ve ever had , wine selection is great, sides are incredible, starters even better, their cocktails are class… the staff is ok but the manager is great, will be back for sure
We were heading south for a few days and needed to get some lunch so we dropped in to 33 South main. It didn’t disappoint. I had a cup of beautiful homemade vegetable soup with an open hot beef sandwich. It came with ruby slaw, stuffing, gravy, fries and some horseradish sauce. It was amazing. My wife also had the soup with a chicken sandwich and they were both very tasty and fresh. The menu is fantastic and the pizza is amazing too I believe. We will definitely be back soon.
Lovely hotel but unfortunately the restaurant let's it down! I've experienced probably the worst service to date at breakfast and dinner. Extremely slow and staff not very friendly. We had to ask to order as nobody came near us after we were seated. Food was lovely when we did get it but the price of a kids fish and chips (€12) is absolutely shocking in my opinion. I definitely wouldn't be coming back here to eat if I stayed in the hotel again.
Service was terrible, late, wrong order, missed one meal entirely and left out an order of fries. We waited ages for the issues being sorted out. One starter came with the main meals.

We went to ll Corvo on Sunday for a meal. We did the outside dining! It was very nice but it did get a bit cold sitting outside! It was a very nice meal. The staff were nice and friendly. The meal was delicious!
First of all a private tour of the storehouse, including a trip to an empty Skybar all to ourselves, with the amazing view over Dublin. Then down to the Connoisseur Bar for an amazing meal paired with a host of Guinness's finest beers. After getting over the fact you were drinking beer and not wine, it was a enlightening experience! Of course, you also get taught how to pour a perfect pint of Guinness and try for yourself - which weren't quite the perfect pours of the expert. A fantastic experience tucked away in a quiet corner it's the Storehouse.
This is a great place fir pub grub and a beer. I recommend the wings for starters and the fish and chips but all of the menu looks good. The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. They have a great range of beers wines. Apparently the chardonnay is very good. The atmosphere is lively and they often have music at the weekends.
They pushed the boat out for the aunties 90th birthday. Nothing was too much bother. Heart shaped balloons looked more like boivs!
Place is gorgeous..staff are extremely friendly..food a little overpriced.however presentation lovely.had the burger which was gorgeous and chicken tandoori, which wasn't great chicken was like rubber and all the fatty bruised meat of the chicken. Expected more for the price. Pity as it looked nicer when it came out and the place was lovely

Been here for lunch was a bit hard to decide what to orther, staff very nice ,quickly served . Food was 4.5 stars but the late has fabulous and the ambience is very relaxing. It was a surprise the way the late it is bringing to you. You could see some videos added as well. Price wise I wait the bill now$. Ciao!
