The absolute best place you can go on an evening walk as you pay your respects to Baapu. There is a beautiful walk-way that’s neatly laid down by a lake where you can quietly enjoy an evening walk while enjoying the chirping of the hundreds of birds, and ofcourse gawk at the beautiful sunset.

Mahatma Ghandi cremation on January 31, 1948 site,situated on Delhi's Ring Road. simple, beautiful, clean, and peaceful. A black mausoleum adorned with flowers signifies his eternal resting place. You can either walk up the incline and view from above, or walk to the stone. Quotes from Gandhi line the walkway along with beautiful flowers. Very well kept and clean grounds. Photography is allowed but visitors are encouraged to do so with reverence and sensitivity. Food items are NOT ALLOWED Inside this place and a thorough security check is done at entrance gate. Inside the premises, you'll hear songs like 'Hey Ram.' There are toilet facilities and wheelchair accessibility. 30 minutes to an hour is sufficient. The lower deck requires us to remove our shoes to walk towards the center of the field where the cremation spot is located. Try to go in cool weather you would have a wonderful experience. Avoid in the afternoon or extreme hot weather. Nearest metro - Delhi Gate and Entry fee - free

A must visit museum for history enthusiasts as you can get live exposure of what Indira Gandhi had gone through her life until her death. The room and things she used is exhibited. The spot where she was shot is marked and we can relive in it our minds.

Excellent place, well maintained to pay tributes to the fallen heroes. Scenic pine trees urge you to spend some quality time and click photos. A small utility play area for kids as well.
Rajghat is the place if you like Gandhiji and want to know more. It's a beautiful place in the memory of Gandhiji and is a must go place for all age groups.

2. There is no ticket fee. Everything is free. And well managed.
3. You may not be able to visit Gandhi samadhi everytime you go to Rajghat because burocrats and leaders all over the world keep visiting this place and hence, the samadhi area is kept closed for their exclusive visits often. However, if you have visited rajghat on any such day, no worries, as there are other places in Rajghat for your quality time.
4. There is a desicated museum describing Gandhiji's life in great detail. Any curious mind will be delighted to have so much information with such ease.
5. Some other small museums are there belonging to some historical significance.
6. There is an area dedicated for the swachchhata mission, and the 360-degree film is a delight to watch, with the rotatable seats and infotainment co tent. A must watch.

Recently, we were in Himachal Pradesh and visited the Tibetan National Martyrs Memorial.The Tibetan National Martyrs Memorial is a black obelisk in Dharmshala.This is a famous tourist attraction in Mcleodganj Dharmsala, Himachal Pradesh. Tibetan culture and people who died for the welfare of the country are remembered.

Very mesmerizing pleace.The former residence of Indira Gandhi has been converted into the Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum and is filled with personal belongings and furnishings used by the late Prime Minister.
It is just 2 monuments put on the walking way to the Monastery.
It's a small memorial just near the entry to the hostels for the monks who live in the complex. It's a small reminder for everyone that Tibet is still not free and fighting for its independence. There are two monuments there, one which is the memorial and the other is a statue which shows the burning Tibet.
I visited this place on my random visit to new delhi, seriously one of the best place that i have visited that day. I visited here after visiting to India Gate,Rashtrapati Bhavan,War memorial,Gandhiji Memorial,Lal Bahadur Mem and Finally here. It was one beautiful and memorable day in my life. The day was so hot but yet memorable. Here i saw indira gandhi jis study room and i was literally stunned.....she had studied literally 10000 books....i was totally stunned to see those....u can see the last dress which she was wearing before dieing. Then to be specific you can see the "BHARAT RATNA" award of Indira gandhi and Rajiv gandhi....i was shocked while seeing it too close😍....i still can feel literally everything infront of my eyes.❤if u do visit to new delhi u must surely give a visit to this place....also there is a Beautiful Garden surrounded by it....u can also see the Final moments of indira gandhi and the spot where she died.

The beauty of this place is good. But there is an parking issue. Better to travel by CAB or nearest Railway Station is Dadar.

All Mumbai B.E S.T. city buses terminating their journey at (or starting from) Shivaji Park, have an official name for their destination, i.e., Ram Ganesh Gadkari Chowk. Built in memory of Ram Ganesh Gadkari, renowned Marathi poet and playwright, the memorial & statue is located at the junction of Lady Jamshedji Road & Keluskar Road. The statue was originally placed near the main gate of Shivaji Park in 1973. The relocation was effected in 1990. The memorial sadly, is largely ignored, which is unfair to the poet, whose volume of work though not extensive, has been very well appreciated. So the next time you are taking a right turn from Sena Bhavan towards Mahim, please spare a thought for this unsung bard of Maharashtra.
