I went today to consult the General surgeon in the hospital. My token number 29 and when my number came, I enter Doctor's room. There were two senior doctors, (one is an
old guy and the other is having an age ogf 43-45) and three or more house surgency students. One of the student took my case sheet and he behaved very well. He took me to the observation room amd the middle aged doctor came for examining me. He prescibed some medicines and ointment. I told him I was suffering Hemmaroid for the past 10 years. He asked me what to do. I suggest surgery coz I am getting weaker and weaker. His response was very quickly and very rudely behavedCan't do it here, you may go somewhere else. Then why they are for?
I was 97 kg and right now only 52 due to lack of food. I can't eat anything beacause of this Hemmaroid. Very bad behaviour from the doctor. This has to be complained to the higher authorities. @veenageorge minister, health department.

They aren't looting your money,but the service which we get is not upto the mark of multispeciality hospitals..

A month ago I had to visit general hospital for my grandmother's treatment .She is entered in the casuality. They provide very good treatment and cared the patient very well. All the staff including doctors and even security staffs they do care about our problems and provide necessary guidance.
Very disappointing experience from the side of staffs , although doctors are much better but few of the staffs are worst .These are the ones who are spoiling the reputation of a hospital and that too a govt. based one .
The lady sitting in the reception under the super speciality had shown her true face as they are not willing to help customers.These ones should be thrown out from their service as they aren't deserved to be part of this reputed hospital. This is one of the reasons why common people are seeking medication and treatments from private hospitals

General Hospital Ernakulam offers a middle-of-the-road healthcare experience. The services provided are generally decent, and the staff is helpful, though there might be some delays. It's a reliable choice for basic medical care, falling somewhere between disappointing and exceptional.
Good experience. Located near the Subhash park. Although crowded, listening and caring doctors. The speciality section and building is great, However, the time taken for payment and each test is longer. The general OP queue area is found dirty and unhealthy (pic). Seems construction is going on. Also, the canteen is poor.

OP starts at 8.30am.. But Doctor mostly late.. 9.30 or beyond... Other staffs seems punctual.

I recently had the opportunity to receive medical treatment for my dad at General hospital and I am pleased to say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I entered the facility until the time of discharge, the level of care and service provided by the hospital staff was truly outstanding.
First and foremost, the doctors and nurses demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism. They were attentive, compassionate, and took the time to thoroughly explain diagnosis, treatment options, and any potential risks or complications.
The hospital's infrastructure was impressive as well. The premises were clean, well-maintained, Took the AC rooms after surgery ( payward ) it cost around 1500/- per day .
Kudos to the whole management and Kerala health department for maintaining it very well , Really we need other government hospital also like these in future .

Very good medical services a bit crowded but good treatment and they are making changes to old building now medicines are given in another place. New block feels like a private hospital it's very well built and maintained

I took admission in the hospital on August 4, my water plate was broken but the pain was not starting, careless doctors and nurses forced me to send me for Caesar and when I Denied they threatened to kill my baby. Kept all medicine brought from me and let me go by writing the higher risk later…. I had a normal delivery in another hospital …. Very bad hospital there is not value of human life that male dr is very bad I don’t know his name maybe dr rahul … and when Ull go for opd they will ActL ike animal
Situated close to the Ernakulam South, I had my medical examination there Doctor and staffs are friendly and supportive as well as strict too. Hospital is neat and clean also crowded.

This is the most chill health unit I have ever seen. The people inside this unit is very calm and welcoming.
The railway Health Unit, South is located inside the Ernakulam South Railway Station. You need to go to the postal place inside the railway station and the health unit is opposite to this.
Anyone who is trying to get vaccinated shall use this place as soon as possible. My experience of getting vaccinated was amazing.

Ridiculous Hospital! Staff don't even wear masks and they fool people in taking covid tests, those who come for vaccination just for sake of showing nos. Vaccines are not even put on cooling pad. No social distancing or hygiene is maintained.

its good BMC hospital, clean, neat and very spacious, having residence doctors so no worries about time..one thing i don't like is staff they are not behaving in good manner with patients and you should have lots patience while talking to them...Nurses and doctors are very good
