Located in South Goa, this rocky beach is steep, not crowded. The winds were very strong when I visited and the ferries were looking like how you expect in a pirate movie (due to the strong Breeze).

If you think this is some great place to visit, forget it ; it is nothing like those beaches in the movies. Just come park your vehicle, pay 30 Rs stand and see the sea and leave . Few cars and a tempo traveller came paid money for parking, went back after spending a few minutes.

I stayed near Calangute beach so this was where I visited for a mesmerizing sunset and great bath. This large beach was a bit crowded and life guards were patrolling too.

Beach ⛱️ is having vast expansion. Water currents are very frequent and have more pulling power so be cautious while taking bath. Life savers are present for any emergency situation. Market with shops of clothes, liquor, tattoos, water activities, cruise booking, eateries etc. along with taxi, scooty facilities available just outside the beach. Beach is having paid washroom with cloak room facilities. Safe and enjoyable place 😀

Most happening beach in Goa…. Full with gifts , cloth & tattoo shops…. Parking area is available nearby beach.. went in off-season so parking was easily accessible….. quite crowded

It was a nice place but there were a lot of waste items, polythene/ plastic bags all over the beach. Overall I enjoyed the vibe.

Very busy beach that draws a huge population of locals and tourist, but you cannot relax for being hassled, whether it’s to buy items at the shops, or to pay for a sun bed. Beach seemed averagely clean, on a busy day but locals didn’t necessarily respect the use of bins for litter. There was a lifeguard on watch and seemed to be on-point whistling at folks constantly to behave! Overall, a quite typical ‘hot spot’ beach which is quite crowded. Overall my expierence is quite good.

Went to this particular stretch on the Cherai beach. It's one of the best, least crowded and cleanest beaches I have been too! Very private, not commercial- we had to take the vypin ferry from fort kochi while visiting. Serene and has rhe perfect sunset. The way to beach was also so so stunning - water all around!

As people say good things come in small packages, goa is such a package, beautiful beaches, some are good for bathing some are good for walk, activites, famous ones are baga, calangute, i prefer palolem and vagatur, silent beaches are cabe de rama, fort agoda is there along with 3 kings church famous for movie shoot, than there is old goa where st. Xavier church is there with no holy sign as it has been said to be built on shiva temple, dona puala, majorda beach, panjim casinos are few other bright spots to visit, overall 15 days are generally enough for people visitng goa.
while Baga Beach in Goa is famous and offers a vibrant atmosphere with its surrounding restobars, it can be overcrowded and lacks cleanliness at times. If you're looking for a less crowded and cleaner beach experience, exploring other beaches in Goa might be a better option.

Evening is the best time to visit the place. You will witness the beautiful sunset. This is my favourite place to do meditation. Please visit on weekdays before sunset and enjoy the calmness and silence along with the sound of waves.
One of the most famous and also the most crowded beaches of North Goa. We went there on Sunday, that is why there was too much of a crowd, even then the beach was clean. Boating and some water activities can be seen here during peak season. Avoid street shopping on this beach as it’s over expensive. Life savers guard are very proactive and alert

The entrance for the beach is filled with shops and restaurants and bar. This is one place for all stuff. People stay at the beach till late night and early morning 2am. Best place for shopping and food. Parking is a bit tricky and it is all filled with scooter 🛵 for rent. So have to search for a place to park. There r good places for have food at reasonable prices.

A beautiful and serene beach. Clean beach and water sports , boats rides make the beach visit more fun. Also the back waters.. there's a baga river which allows kayaking. Over all A lovely experience. The shacks are beautifully decorated.

Nice place to view sunset. Watersports are also available. Most of the sout goa beaches are clean and peaceful. Great place to relax. Have a vacation, spend time with family and friends. Beach side food options are also available

It was clean and not much crowd in the morning. It’s just 5kms from the Guruvayur temple.
Never expected this place to be busy even at 2 am midnight. The kids, senior citizens, couples , joggers everyone can be seen as if this was just evening time. The breeze and the vibes were so awesome. Though the water smells, we get used to it within few minutes. Felt soothing throughout the time. Just sit facing the waves and shake your legs as long as you wanted. No one bothers you. You don’t even feel like surfing on your mobile. It was waxing gibbous!!! The clouds and the moon along with the breeze made it so cinematic to begin with. Overall a best place to hangout with buddies.

The experience was beautiful when we reached. It is a beautiful photogenic place. Amble places for kids to play and Enough space to walk on the beach. The view of the beach is beautiful. The water of the beach is good to have fun.The area is nice for a day picnic .

Very beautiful view of the sea. On the left end of the beach, we can see sea wall and fishing nets. Watching how they carry out fishing is a good timepass. Sand is very soft and filled with shells. On the right side of the beach, there is a lot of pine trees, which are good for photography experiments. There is a public park on the entrance.
Washroom and parking is available here. But you have to pay Rs. 5 to use it.
Seashore is too steep and tides are dangerous. So, do not enter into the water without proper safety and guidance.

Ambedkar beach is apart of cherai beach where a statue of Ambedkar could be seen along with the statue of Ayyankali. The beach is very long and the sea is shallow. You can enjoy the beach to the full extend. Sunset and a sea bath will refresh you.
The beach meets Estuary!!! You can experience both the sea and river at this point. The beach ends at PULIMUTTU. Please keep it clean...

We can see the joining of kanolikanal and arabian sea , If u plan to visit here u must to go light house that near by to the beach .

Don’t go by direction in google.. the way is blocked for four wheeler and if you make a mistake by entering, then only option is to come back by reverse in a zig zag 12 feet road around 500 meters. If you go a little further then there is a small way for you to get access to beach by parking four wheeler at beach side
A great place for photography lovers. U can find lots of fishing boats . Not fit for bathing. Has a park just adjacent to it for children and people to take a stroll. Pay parking available. U can find good spots of fisherman fishing just at the shore

location was good. rooms were excellent. Although there are lots of area to explore around but roaming after 5PM in not advisable due to deadly mosquitoes. Food was ok type. Avoid stay during summer and rainy season.

A good stay! Was little sad when there was no proper water supply and it took time for the management to rectify it. Otherwise a nice stay!
Quiet and calm beach. One can sit in the shade of coconut trees and enjoy the sound of sea waves hitting the shore
Cherai Beach is one of the hottest destinations in Kerala. The beach is part of an array of beaches lining across the coast of Ernakulam district. Fort Kochi beach, vypin beach, kuzhippilly beach, cherai beach and munambam come back to back. The other end of this beach is serene and less crowded but it isn't safe to swim on that end. This beach has plenty of resorts, hotels, bars and home stays closeby and is a tourist paradise. You can spot dolphins if you are lucky. Water sports are also available during season. Monsoon isn't a great time to visit if you wish to spend time in the sea, but the ambience is amazing during monsoon. Parking is a problem during peak hours as the roads are narrow.
