Great place to visit, go for Taj Mahal first and if you have time visit Agra fort, there is also a great view of Taj Mahal. We saw both in one day with a guide who drove us around.
This is a Collection of Old Building in Various States of Disrepair. The Architecture is amazing however, in Ruins. You see a few workers doing something, but the manpower is not sufficient to get the job done. Still an amazing place to visit. There is a Small Museum.

A short visit of 30-60 minutes will be enough to cover this small museum for free...you will see various toilets from different countries and history of toilets... mostly it's empty...I went there alone but it would be a little more fun if you go there with someone else to laugh at some things....I won't upload more photos...go and visit once if u live nearby....

Built by Raja Maldev in the 1500's. It was the residence of the Dogra kings. It's in a bad shape now. It's all falling apart. But it looks like it's being restored. Parts of it have already been restored.

Midway between the ornate gateway and the masjid at the Taj Mahal complex, on the western periphery of the complex, is the Jal Mahal. This is one of two pavilions built at either end of a water channel bisecting the charbagh gardens of the tomb. Jal Mahal houses the Taj Mahal Museum, a very small selection of exhibits. Some pertain to the Taj itself: layouts, including a beautiful 19th century one on cloth, a few paintings, mostly from the 20th century, farmans regarding the purchase and construction of the Taj, and some details about the semi-precious stones used in it); others, like weapons, coins, and jade or celadon ware, are more generally Mughal.

Akbar had built several palaces in the Agra Fort, and his son and successor Jahangir had added to them. These comprise the Jahangiri Mahal and Akbari Mahal, both approached through a beautiful gate decorated with red sandstone and yellow dholpur stone. The palaces inside are small, made almost completely of red sandstone, very intricately carved, and with some traces of beautiful painted and incised plaster.
The Agra Fort ticket, Rs 35 per Indian adult, covers these palaces. An interesting artefact just outside the gate here is Jahangir's bath tub, shaped like a giant tea cup with rough steps on the side to climb in.

There are about 5-6 museums in the Red Fort area. The tickets are available along with the tickets for the Red Fort. A must visit for all history lovers and youth. It portrays history of India from 1857 along with Museums dedicated to great leaders like Subash Chandra Bose etc. Do carry your own food or water, there is no canteen inside.

Jahangir’s palace is an exemplary place where one can see the beautiful ancient time of maharaja of old time belonging to jahangir. The gate takes one to inside the main fort. Beside there is bath tub of 5 feet heights and 8 feet width where you can see the beautiful lawn and open gate alongside. As per stories it’s not an original place of jahangir rather Akbar’s. It was British who changed it to show case and now it became part of tourists attraction over Akbar’s palace. Visit and see the palace and area of history. I enjoyed hope you do too ❤️❤️

This museum is still very much a work in progress. Artifacts have been exhibited, but plaques explaining their historic significance were absent, reducing the utility of the exhibits.
I had a great experience at Agra fort. Fort was well planned for tourist. Neat clean and with good facilities. We got a guide who rally explained us in details about the history of the fort. At the same time he helped us to clique good photos at the main points of the fort. Really had a very good experience.

The most historic place to be visited
It is a big museum consisting of two floors and has three galleries along with a main hall. The Taj Mahal Museum, as the name suggests, showcases all those things related to the creation of Taj Mahal. There are a total number of one hundred and twenty one antiques displayed in the museum. These things can be largely classified into Mughal manuscripts, Mughal miniature paintings, inscription samples, Royal decrees, drawings and plans of Taj Mahal. Some other items which are also exhibited in the museum are arms, utensils, specimen of decorative pieces, marble pillars, etc.

The erstwhile residence of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose (renowned Bengali physicist, botanist and archaeologist), Acharya Bhavan was constructed in the year 1902 and known to have served as the hub of Bengal Renaissance. This is the building where Acharya and his wife Abala Bose played host to many renowned personalities of that time, including Tagore, G B Shaw, Vivekananda, Romain Rolland, Sister Nivedita, Prasanta Mahalanobis, PC Ray and Meghnad Saha. this 111-year-old building has been recently renovated into a museum. For anyone interested in knowing about the inspirational life and works of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose, a visit to this museum is an absolute must. Here, you can come up close and personal with many items and artefacts that belonged to J C Bose. His distinctive instruments, laboratory and priceless collections of art are well-preserved in this museum. Frescoes designed by Nandalal Bose and Abanindranath Tagore are among the museum's main highlights.
