The Indian Naval Aviation Museum in Goa was quite good. But it would have been much better if there was a guide or someone to explain about the things on display like aeroplanes, helicopters, missiles etc. rather than just having to read about them.

A serene view with a good book is how it comes to my mind. I've recently visited this place. I wasn't aware of it's existence, shocker? Yeah!
I couldn't believe, I've been living under a rock for all these years. But not anymore.
Oh to watch the sunset into the lake from is divine. Experience, you must!
Super place to see our nation's naval capabilities. Great to seep into its history and various achievements.

Kids will love to see the actual aircrafts helicopters, missiles etc.

Deducting 1 star for a very poor souvenir shop. With nothing much except for a few tshirts keychains and mugs. If there were die cast replicas of our nation's aircrafts ans helicopters both adults and kids would lap it up.

Also a printed booklet of information and history would be a great thing to bring back.

Birla Museum is a treasure trove of artifacts and exhibits that showcase the history and culture of Madhya Pradesh. From ancient sculptures to modern paintings, there's a lot to see here. The only downside is that the museum can feel a bit cramped, especially during busy times. But if you take your time to explore, you'll uncover fascinating stories and insights into the region's rich heritage.
The ticket price is 25 rupees and for photography extra 50 rupees.

A wonderful Museum and a mansion. Can't stress much on how beautifully and well maintained everything was at this place. Casa Araujo is far better than the Big Foot Museum next to it and often less crowded. This is really a thing of beauty and would cost you 150 per person!

It now opened for public, one can visit this place during their Raj bhavan tour.

It has many artefacts of famous freedom fighters and some insights of our Indian history is put up at the musuem
This is great place to see different types of Naval Aircrafts. The Museum is air conditioned & showcasing lot of information. If you traveling with Family, specifically with kids; it’s must visit place in Goa. They charged minimal amount per person & they have good vehicle parking space. The Museum closed every Monday.
A very nice museum depicting the history of Indian cinema. Keep 2-3 hrs in hand as there is lot to see and explore. They even screen a movie for visitors. Ticket is decently priced at Rs 75 for adults and Rs 40 for kids. Must visit if you are in Mumbai
As usual there is a ticket counter where you have to be in queue to buy the offline ticket to Taj Mahal and toll ticket as well. As the monument is crowded almost every time of the day, you will find some rush on the counter as well. Beware of pickpocketing. Then you will have to enter the monument and be on another queue. Better buy tickets online and save a penny as well. Tickets bought online are 5 to 10 Rs cheaper and no queue. Make sure to carry your water bottles.
I visited this place at 05:37 PM in the evening but was denied entry since it was almost closing time 06:00 PM. Next day I reached around 03:00 PM. Telling this because even 3 hours wouldn't last long as you keep exploring this place. The ticket price has been revised to Rs. 75 as contrary to Rs. 20 written on web.
Inside the museum, there are two buildings - the old one and new one. First you go to the old one where you'll witness how cinema was born and how it evolved. I cannot put into words the details of global and national cinema that you'll find here. There are antique instruments in form of audio and visual devices, detailed notes on various evolutions of cinema, photos from the past, etc. I'll leave it here in case of the old building. As for the new one, it has got some really cool tech for you to understand filmmaking on a deeper level like doing your makeup, animations, vfx, sound mixing, etc which is really fun. Just like the old building, you'll find here many historical figures who contributed to the Cinema, antique sound and visual devices.
Had a wonderful guided tour of the Museum by a Naval legend Admiral Phillipose himself. Museum is very well organised, superbly designed with excellent information for all ages. Can be enjoyed and inspirational for young children to elderly. Very good experience overall
A one of its kind museum located inside the Films Division complex in Cumballa Hill. It is India's first cinema museum. Inaugurated in 2019, this museum is under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India. It is housed in two buildings, the heritage Gulshan Mahal and the New Museum Building. This museum showcases history of Indian cinema through recordings, memorabilia, cameras, equipment etc. It is visited by locals and foreign tourists. The entrance fees are Rs. 75 per Indian adult, Rs. 40 per Indian child, Rs. 500 per foreign adult and Rs. 250 per foreign child. This museum is open from 11 am to 6 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. It is closed on Mondays and Public Holidays. Photography is allowed. Videography is not allowed. Had roamed inside the both the buildings and got a glimpse of the history & modernization of Indian Cinema. This museum is an ideal place for families, children as well as film enthusiasts. It is a must visit and should not be missed.
Best experience in Goa.. I think this is the one and only museum in India in this category.. Enjoyed a lot. It costs Rs. 300 per person to enter, along with this they also provide one guide who can help you clicking pictures in different funny poses..

The Indian Naval Aviation Museum is a unique attraction in Goa that showcases the history and achievements of the Indian Naval Air Arm. The museum is located near the Dabolim Airport, and is easily accessible by road or public transport. The museum has two main sections: an outdoor exhibit and a two-storey indoor gallery.

The outdoor exhibit displays 13 decommissioned aircraft that have served in the Indian Navy, such as the Breguet Alizé, the BAe Sea Harrier, the de Havilland Vampire, and the Kamov Ka-25. The aircraft are well-maintained and some of them can be entered by visitors. The outdoor exhibit also features various aircraft engines and armaments, such as bombs, torpedoes, and cannons.

The indoor gallery has several rooms that depict different aspects of the naval aviation, such as the uniforms, the insignia, the awards, and the operations. The gallery also has models of the aircraft carriers INS Vikrant and INS Viraat, which are the pride of the Indian Navy. The gallery has interactive exhibits, such as a flight simulator, a cockpit mock-up, and a photo booth.

The museum is a must-visit for aviation enthusiasts, history buffs, and patriotic citizens. The museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm on all days except Mondays. The entry fee is Rs. 40 for adults and Rs. 20 for children. The museum also has a souvenir shop and a cafeteria.

My Google Map review for the Indian Naval Aviation Museum is:

Best Experience and Unique way to pass the vacation days in Goa, differently.

Costs 300/- per head and needed time to go through the museum all by your group would be 15 minutes.

All the property materials has been maintained very well. Keep up!!
Absolutely must go! It is well created and very thorough. Love every second of it, esp the interactive parts (with machines not people:)

You can sit outside and have a little snack, enjoy the trees and breeze.

We bought tickets at the counter, no rush. Two adults 150rupees total.

Rate: 10/10.

If you're a movie/cinema/theater lover like me.. Go Go Go!

In 2016, historical facet of the edifice came to light after a temporary wall of an underground tunnel was razed. A British-era bunker, spread across 15,000 sq ft, was uncovered. Built before World War I, the 13-room bunker was equipped with ammunition to meet any contingency.

It now opened for public, one can visit this place during their Raj bhavan tour.

This is excellent place to visit in Vasco, lovely experience, good, neat and clean canteen. One wonderful cat was attraction for children, lots of plane to explore, well managed, a little show for 10 minutes also included free , one must go for sure. Washroom also available 👍
It’s one of the best places I have ever visited. This is one of a kind and only Naval Aviation Museum which gives you knowledge about the Indian Navy. Flying fighter jet on simulator is a once in a life time experience and is a must to do activity along with watching the Short Naval movie.
A must visit for those who have a passionate interest in film making and love for Indian cinema. This place at peddar road houses everything related to film making right from the time the first camera ever made to today's technology. It's quite a big museum and you can easily take 3-4 hours to visit the whole thing in detail. A lot of interactive sections too which takes the whole experience to the next level.
One of the wonder of the world surrounded with the anti social elements.
Govt is earning so much from it that they can built 10 taj mahal from the profit, lack of maintenance rude behaviour of the security and on the top of that indian people do not deserve such a monument.
The National Museum of Indian Cinema is a captivating journey through the evolution of Indian cinema. From vintage equipment to iconic films, it offers a comprehensive and engaging experience for film enthusiasts, showcasing the rich history and cultural impact of Bollywood. A must-visit for those interested in India's cinematic heritage. This museum consists of two buildings one old and other new. The old one is a two storey building while the new building has four floors and one basement full of historical cinematography instruments, stories and many more things to explore. One would take around at least 3 hours to fully explore the museum.
The surrounding was very peaceful , the service was also good.
The guide showed us everything and gave us details about each and everything very nicely and elaborately. She was very communicative and nice.
All the stuff were very educational and consisted of interesting past.
I loved the way they preserved everything so carefully.
The place is a huge attraction and if i ever again visit Goa , I'm going to visit there again without any doubt.
I recommend you to visit there. Enjoy!

Wonderful collection of ancient artifacts and paintings. If you are coming to Bhopal and want to visit nearby places,
Add lower lake, Van vihar, Birla museum in the list.
Initially I was wondering that shall I visit the place or not as museum are almost in every other city. But after visiting I felt that it was a worth visiting place with reference of old artifacts and true collection
This is historic 250 years old mansion that belongs to the Portuguese Alvares family who was wealthy lawyer. The mansion speaks of the rich and powerful past of the family. The furniture you will see here are from Europe china and Italy. There are heritage lamps, kitchen utensils, wash basin structures, chairs, hat and stick stands, private Chapel and a kerosene fridge, etc. The mansion had 5 persons served by 24 servants who were Indian.
These are the things that have been used by the family in past and now it is show cased in the museum for today’s generations to view the Goa’s heritage
Be prepared to read a lot. Good thing it’s free because you might have to go back a few times to finish the whole museum or just read his biography in the comfort of your home 🤷🏽‍♀️
Un peu déçue par le manque de vie du musée qui est une suite de photographies sur la vie de Gandhi. Il n’y avait personne, les gardiens sont à moitié endormis sur leur chaise, bref, un musée tristounet.
Had a fantastic time at the National Museum of Indian Cinema, and I wanted to share my experience. The journey started off smoothly with convenient paid parking available for just 75/- Rs, making it easy for me to begin my visit.

Once inside, I felt like I stepped into a cinematic wonderland. The exhibits, artifacts, and memorabilia took me on a captivating journey through the history of Indian cinema. It was amazing to see how this art form has evolved over the years.

What I found really cool was the interactive displays that explained the ins and outs of filmmaking. It gave me a better understanding of the hard work and creativity that goes into making the movies we enjoy.

The museum did a great job of putting Indian cinema in context with its historical and cultural significance. It made me realize the profound impact movies have on Indian society, and I left with a newfound appreciation for this art form.

My only disappointment was that I couldn't spend more time there. There's so much to see and learn, and I'm excited to go back for a longer visit, maybe around 5 hours, to explore everything the museum has to offer.

In summary, the National Museum of Indian Cinema is a wonderful experience for both movie enthusiasts and anyone who loves culture. I'm glad I went, and I'm looking forward to returning for a more in-depth exploration of the fascinating world of Indian cinema.

This is a must see house if you are visiting Goa for the first time. Orignally owned by an advocate, the house tells a nice story of how Goa was during the Portuguese time. The place showcases old tools and paraphernalia that gives a first hand look of the past.

Tour starts with a nice summary (narrated by the guide) then followed by recorded playback at each stop points.

An absolute paradise for a person who understands architecture. The play of spaces within various levels. The sheer thought process behind designing the whole space is very accurate. The use of proportion to get accurate building heights that in turn enhance courtyard spaces. The design of these spaces itself invites people to conduct various kinds of public entertainment activities or just a relaxation space. The oat and the view of the bada talab beyond which the masjid could have been visible at some point of time. Charles Correa just showcased the in-depth understanding of context and usage of discs in the best possible way.

By the way Fridays are free to visit.

The museum is located inside the private grounds of the mansion where the governor of Maharashtra lives. The only way for the public to visit is to request tickets for the early morning (0545) tour. This requires registering on the government website weeks in advance. Search for 'Raj Bhavan Maharashtra Sunrise Tour' to apply.
Unique Experience,
Children's will enjoy the photoshoot..
We are allowed to take photos , videography is not allowed...
Very friendly staff, they will help u to take photos, & they will instruct us for different photo pose ...
Price little higher side....

Neat & cleanly managed space...
It's just an walking area in Airport with beautiful art pieces. Does not feel much like a museum and is hard to walk through
As it was weekday..there was no much rush and we booked the tickets there itself. It was hassle free experience for us and we enjoyed there. Everything from the food to the people was awesome. It took 3 hours to reach there from noida. And it was 1 day trip only.

If you love history, sculptures and museums then a must-visit place indeed which is located just next to the Birla temple.
The entry ticket is 25₹ and you have to pay 100₹ additional for any kind of photography which includes mobile photography too.
There is a wide variety of sculpture art inside the museum which I like a lot. The museum is somehow maintained well.
MP government should promote such places as there is some amazing artwork to experience and witness.
Nice place, a good number of paintings of different artists are exhibited. But a little bit of the description of these paintings are to be given.
Excellent place, well maintained to pay tributes to the fallen heroes. Scenic pine trees urge you to spend some quality time and click photos. A small utility play area for kids as well.
My recent trip to the National Museum of Indian Cinema left me brimming with excitement and contentment. The experience began on a convenient note with paid parking available for a reasonable fee of 100 Rs, which made my visit all the more hassle-free.

Stepping inside the museum was like entering a world of cinematic wonder. The exhibits, artifacts, and memorabilia on display provided a comprehensive journey through the history of Indian cinema. It was truly captivating to witness the evolution of this art form.

What struck me the most was the interactive displays that shed light on the intricacies of filmmaking. It added a layer of understanding to the process and artistry behind the movies we know and love.

The museum’s ability to contextualize Indian cinema within the broader historical and cultural framework is commendable. It highlights the profound impact of films on Indian society, and I left with a deeper appreciation for this art form.

My only regret was that my time at the museum was limited to just a few hours. Given the wealth of information and exhibits, I’m eager to return and spend at least 5 hours exploring everything the museum has to offer.

In summary, the National Museum of Indian Cinema is a delightful experience for movie enthusiasts and culture lovers alike. I’m happy I made it to this unique institution and can’t wait to return for a more extended visit to further immerse myself in the fascinating world of Indian cinema.

The place is very near to Dambolim Airport. It gives you interesting option to see the world upside down. The creativity is in fixing everything (sofa, bed, tables, even bath tub and a car) that we are used to see and use (on the ground) up on the ceiling. They have a team of photographers who assist you in positioning yourselves such that it appears as if you are floating / holding on those articles. It is interesting and kids may find it very amusing. They charge Rs.300 for each individual and I had to pay full charge for my 7 year old as well. For photographs they charge additional Rs.75 for digital copies. They allow you to use your smartphones as well to click pictures. Getting around is very convenient for all age group. Can be a interesting option if you can bundle the visit with something else ( a good option is Birla temple which is roughly at a distance of 10 mins).
Pl like if you found the review useful.

Worst place to visit because of the hassle to get to the monument itself.
1. The counter accepts cash only, for any digital payments including cards you have to go on a website ( Max number of persons permitted 5).
2. They don't let anything get past security gate. Screening for any kind of weapons or explosives is understandable, but the security guards take this opportunity to hand pick anything they like from our bags (Which possibly they keep for themselves). A children's playbook was taken from my bag. Still don't know what harm a book would do apart from putting my baby to sleep.
3. There is a counter for keeping bags just opposite the ticket counter. This service is supposed to be free. Even There is board right in front of it saying it's free. But the staff there colluding with private players won't accept any bags. Even paying cash (Rs 20 per bag) is okay, but we have to walk all the way back to get to the said private lockers.
4. There are many irritating tour guides and photographers who won't take no for an anwer and keep bothering all guests unnecessarily. Authorities do nothing to stop this menace.
Also many photographers claim the main entrance as their private space and keep pushing people away inorder to take their photos. There's also a lot of infighting going on in between them.

5. If you're to going to Agra via train, then you have to fight you're way out of the railway station because a lot of taxi drivers and guides surround you and yell at you until you pick one. They won't stop for a second. Image being surrounded by a mob asking for money each one trying to dupe you. There's hardly 6kms to Taj Mahal from Agra contonment station but they will deceive you by saying it's 20 kms and ask 1200 Rs for it. In reality you could just get there by paying as low as Rs 350.

6. There are no good restaurants nearby. After this tiring walk around the Taj Mahal there's no way you will get decent food within 4kms.

7. The Indian railways does nothing to prevent people without ticket from entering the coaches (Even AC coaches). You couldn't possibly image how crowded the return train was. There's people sitting on the floor, people hanging from upper berths, people staying in bathrooms. Even the police are just watching this and TTE is nowhere to be seen.

In short just don't visit this place. The view is not worth the hassle.

The smartest way to show a lifestyle or culture of a person. It's a very good example to show how the Portuguese officials lived in Goa.
The house belongs to Casa Araujo Alvares and all the artefacts have been preserved in a very good condition. Though the house may be old, they have incorporated the smart way of storytelling through speakers as we land on that part of the exhibit. A much better experience than reading through the exhibits. The place is unique and fun to spend time in there. The narration is quite informative not just about the artefacts but also speaks a lot about the culture and society during that time. I would say it's worth the visit.
I recently had the opportunity to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra, India, and while the monument itself was undoubtedly breathtaking, my experience at the ticket counter left much to be desired. Regrettably, the excessive wait time significantly impacted my overall impression of the visit.

Arriving early in the morning with high hopes of an unforgettable experience, I was met with a shockingly long queue at the ticket counter. It seemed that the management had not adequately prepared for the influx of visitors, resulting in a chaotic and disorganized atmosphere. There were only a few staff members handling a large number of tourists, leading to frustratingly slow progress.

Despite having anticipated some waiting time, I was unprepared for the hours that passed before I could finally purchase my ticket. The lack of proper crowd control and efficient systems further exacerbated the situation. The absence of clear signage or announcements added to the confusion, leaving visitors uncertain about the progress of the line and how much longer they had to wait.

The waiting conditions were far from ideal. The ticket counter area was poorly ventilated, and the lack of seating arrangements meant that everyone had to stand for an extended period. In the scorching heat, this was particularly uncomfortable, with people becoming increasingly impatient and visibly exhausted.

The experience was not only physically demanding but also mentally draining. The constant anticipation and frustration led to a growing sense of disappointment, overshadowing the excitement I had initially felt about visiting such an iconic landmark. As a result, my overall enjoyment of the Taj Mahal was diminished.

It is disheartening to witness such mismanagement at a world-renowned tourist site like the Taj Mahal. With its historical significance and popularity, one would expect better systems in place to handle the large influx of visitors. Improved crowd control, additional staff members, and streamlined ticketing procedures could have made a significant difference in reducing the wait time and enhancing the overall visitor experience.

The Museum exudes tranquility with its abundance of charming stone sculptures, ancient coins, and captivating artworks. It offers a glimpse into the evolution of mankind from its earliest beginnings to the late 18th and 19th centuries. Adjacent to the renowned Birla Temple, this meticulously preserved museum is a haven of serenity. Nestled within its premises is a captivating garden adorned with a multitude of timeless statues. The museum's impeccable upkeep ensures a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal destination to explore. Don't forget to note the museum's operating hours, which conclude at 7:00 P.M. during summer and 6:30 P.M. during other seasons, ensuring ample time to visit before closing. Although the museum may have a slight shortfall in the number of ancient artifacts, I still rate it a commendable 4 out of 5 stars.

Situated just beside the birla temple with entry fees of 25/- per head. Sculptures of many gods and goddesses can be seen here. Personal collection of antiques from Mr. Birla is also put on display. A peaceful place to visit.

Peaceful place filled with mind-blowing art works . There is a picture gallery aswell. I was mostly impressed by the infrastructure of the place ,the amphitheatre, the lounge, and the Dom roof.

Perfect place for solitude with music on earphones. From the Bhopal Jn. railway station take a share-auto (Rs.20/pp) to Kamala park/upper Lake and you can reach this place . entrance fee rupee 10/pp
Mixed feelings about skipping the queue on a foreigners ticket. All foreigners were immediately approached by official guides, who were certainly helpful and told us that their services were included in the ticket price, to our surprise. However, they still expected a service fee, which is fine, but needs to be clearly stated by whoever sells the tickets.

One of the most iconic places I have had the opportunity to visit. Mahatma Gandhi deceased here. An impacting visit for sure.

His last footsteps and unexpected memorabilia within the museum are not only inspiring, but help understand one of the most important episodes in human history surely much better than any documentary.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fun experience. One guide will be allotted to you for photo clicking. Only u need to pose. Just handover your phone to him. Inside there are 6 rooms. Garage, living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and kid room. Well maintained. Good concept. Visit once if you are around Vasco. Very near to Dabolim Airport. Will take 30 to 45 min to finish all rooms.
Entry fee is 300 Rs per person which I felt is on the higher side.
there is good parking space available.
Offline tickets available. Can buy many tickets at Once. no id needed while buying tickets.

The Bunker Museum is covered as a part of the Raj Bhavan morning tour. It was built by the Britishers and remained closed and undiscovered for 6 decades. It was discovered in 2016, by the then governor Vidyasagar Rao.

The tour has limited time and doesn't give justice to this 150 m long underground bunker. It is undergoing renovations/ upgradations and is expected to be open more often to the public.
Great exhibition. Only 20 rupees entry (even for foreigners)
I was amazed to see the art and the creativity of the artists. Hats off to the person who came up with the idea of having a walking museum.

You can also download the app and get an audio your of the museum as you walk towards your boarding gate.

Simply artistic, beautiful and creative!
It is just 2 monuments put on the walking way to the Monastery.
It's great museum dedicated to late Mr. Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation. It's must visit place.. we get all events happened in Mahatma Gandhi's lifetime..

The museum has great collection of sculptures of Lord Shiva and Devi. Apart from this there are many sculptures depicting Indian gods and goddesses in...
Worth a visit to go back to explore the yester years collection... The don't allow photography but a good display of coins, statues and others.
A place of rich heritage to be protected by the government. Glad to see renovation going on during our visit. Mani bhavan has a great collection of artifacts and photos during the times of Mr. Gandhiji; father of the nation. The place can be visited without any tickets or charges and only voluntery contributions as per your wish are encouraged here.
It's a small memorial just near the entry to the hostels for the monks who live in the complex. It's a small reminder for everyone that Tibet is still not free and fighting for its independence. There are two monuments there, one which is the memorial and the other is a statue which shows the burning Tibet.

Worth spending the layer over time looking at the art made by artists around India, from Kerala murals to renaissance paintings. Download the Jay He Museum app from Google Play Store, for better understanding of the context and details of the art and the artist.

This complex houses various things which I will mention below:

Generic information first - toilets are neat and clean. There is a mini canteen inside the complex and a full service canteen in the parking lot. Food is good, quantity sufficient and prices reasonable. One can also buy evergreen Choley Kulcha for Rs20 a plate outside the parking lot from a street vendor. Parking is free. Souvenir shop is there in parking lot. This complex along with Rajghat, deserves a day worth of visit.

Museum - it consists of hundreds of photographs and paintings of his lifetime of work with detailed descriptions. It is structured in rooms in progression and also houses the boat in which he traveled, the jeep in which his body was carried for cremation and more things. Entry is free. It is very well ventilated which makes it difficult to spend sufficient time during extreme winters or summers.

Journey through sculptures made of mud - they are also in the process of installing touch screen informative computer screens.

Khadi Outlet - this is where various types of garments are made from Khadi cloth and are sold here too. Decent collection.

Library - tons of books, free for all to read here.

Books outlet - where they sell books.

IGNOU - Office of Indira Gandhi National Open University. Always crowded by College goers and their parents to collect books and other work.

Khadi Gram Udyog Training Center - where trainings are conducted on various things often sold through Khadi Outlets like honey business.

Industrial Training Center - an excellent place which offers short term courses for a long list of vocations.

Incubation Center - which organizes half day workshops on various businesses followed by active assistance in guiding to scale and run a business.
Very nice and historic place. You can see many historical things here. Which Mahatma gandhi use in their daily life like charkha etc...
When at time whenever mahatma Gandhi came to mumbai they use this place for all their meeting and their private work..
There are many bookes of mahatma Gandhi that you have to read once in your life . This place is the attractive part of that area.. Near that there is a function Hall , all programs on behalf mahatma Gandhi is arranged here.

On Every birth anniversary of mahatma Gandhi the Gandhi smarak buddhi arranges the different programs.

If you went to Mumbai this the place you must have to visit
Really good and quite place. Many relics of that age are kept here. A must visit for both Indians and foreigners
JAYA HE GVK NEW MUSEUM
Art and Culture : GVK CSMIA T2 is home to India’s largest public art programme, titled ‘Jaya He’, in the form of a 3.2 km multi-storey Art Wall, illuminated by skylights, that has over 5000 pieces of artwork and artifacts from every region & corner of India.
Possibly India’s largest public artwork project to date, Jaya He Museum at the Mumbai International Airport, spans across Terminal 2 and is a landmark corporate initiative to safeguard an immense cultural resource.

One of the few Installations I liked during my visit here:
1. Recycled & Unconventional Map of Mumbai
2. Hawa Mahal in Turban denoting Vaayu (An element of panchmahabhuta)
3. Frozen Fire denoting Agni
4. Moving Constant- (Tanjore Paintings- Folk Art Form)
5. Nomadic Tribes (Gadiya Lohar)
6. Vahanas (mount/vehicle) of a Hindu God
7. Palitana Painting (09/09/1934)
Special thanks to Ms.Ashwini Varma @ashwini_varma for a guided tour of the museum.
You can also plan your visit, for no matter how many times you transit through the airport, Domestic or International, it been created in a way that you will be see a new detail in these exquisite “narrative trails” rich in ethnographic stories every time you are at the Airport.
CSMIA gives you an opportunity to take a guided tour of the museum in the departures section. Called as Jaya He Safari, these tours can be availed for free as you depart from Terminal 2.
I had an amazing experience with the GVK guided tour of the museum. The guides were fantastic and very interactive. The exhibits are phenomenal and having someone explain it makes one appreciate it further.

This is a free of cost tour that you can take if you have a long layover or waiting time at the airport. One can easily register for it online on the csia website. They say the registration should be done prior to 24 hrs but I had done some 15 hrs before and they accomodated me. My tour was around 2 hours and it was time we'll spent. It is up to you how much and how long you want to spend. The flexibility is its hallmark.

Overall I would love to do this again as I was only able to see the parts in the domestic level of the terminal. Specially recommended for all foreigners who travel in and out of the country. If you love art and sculpture, you would not regret making this decision.

I also got a thank you email along with a pic and a few post cards and pamphlets.
The Tibetan National Martyrs Memorial is a black obelisk in Dharmshala. This is Famous tourist attraction in Mcleodganj Dharmsala Himachal Pradesh
This place is basically a visual biography of Gandhi. Every event of his life is represented by an image which is either a photograph or a sketch.

One can quickly lose interest here as the texts for the images aren't placed conveniently, has no air conditioning, no guide, no audio tours etc

It's highlight is that one may find documents and rare pictures of Gandhi which is not easily available online.
Beautifully maintained residence where he stayed while he started satyagraha Graham movement.
India can shine bright when she lets her best talent to soar. This terminal is the domestic section of the international airport and they have some very creative art works for decorations.
Love the art work inside airport.Amazing!
Food court is good and reasonable prices,be prepared place can be crowded.Duty free is nothing special
The place starts and ends with tribute to all the martyrs. And it holds a market within. You can go through this tibetan market and get whatever you like. Good place!
