Extremely bad food recommendations at the Juhu centre. Food got cold very fast. Service was okay. Not that great.
Dessert and drinks were good.

Nestled in the small bylanes opp Juhu Post Office and close to Novotel Juhu, the Bayroute restaurant cannot be missed. The exteriors are very contemporary however the interiors is propped with mid-eastern artware, look-n-feel. We went there for an occasion dinner and since we were not familiar with the wide cuisine our steward suggested a few dishes that would suit our taste pallete. For appetizers we opted for 'Humus Bayroute with Pita', juicy 'Kabab Joojeh' & 'Harissa Chicken Kabab'. For main course we went with the delicious 'Moroccan Lemon olive Chicken' which is a combo of chicken, veggies and rice and the all-time favourite 'Lebanese Shawarma'. One main dish would would serve 2 average eaters. For drinks we opted for mocktails - 'Aleppo Chilli Guava' and 'Thai Meets Middle East' with the latter not upto my liking. Its a combination of kaffir lime and coconut water which I personally did not like much.

Overall, the experience was very good including ambience and and since the restaurant was at 50% capacity when we visited, the food was served within 15-20mins time. Would definitely look at visiting the other Bayroute outlets as well in the near future.

Terrible experience. If this is Lebanese in Mumbai it’s an outrage. There must be other places that do good Lebanese food. This definitely isn’t one.

The calamari was like rubber and I wasn’t able to chew. No taste and actually quite revolting. The meat kebabs were uncooked and raw with a pasty texture in the middle.dd chicken kebabs were okay but nothing special with six chips.

I must admit I’ve been to some places where I thought the food wasn’t great, but this one takes the Gold star for being the worst of the lot. Avoid at all cost.

We went for our first anniversary date and it was an amazing experience.
Mr. Irfan hosted us in a warm and friendly manner. The food was absolutely delicious (don't miss the fatar baklava which is sensational). Cocktails were great too.
We got a complimentary dessert as we booked in advance for our anniversary and the desert was also lip smacking.
Best place to have Mediterranean food and for a nice romantic dinner.

Yesterday i ordered 4 shawarma roll and half plate chicken wings for take away.they charge 15 Rupees for parcel fee which is not acceptable. After i arguing with cashier he reduce parcel charge to 5 Rupees.
This not acceptable and I didn’t see any of the restaurant who is charging 15 rs for parcel charge.
Note: people who are buying parcel just go through bill thoroughly.

For Bektash: This is business. Do it properly .please don’t loot the people

Thank you

Food was nice, we enjoyed the starter and main course. Chicken hummus and pita bread was assum. Loved the ambience.
Delicious food and amazing service. Loved the lamb dishes that I ordered and the cocktails were also well prepared and beautifully presented.
Had heard great reviews about this place so visited there with 2 of my friends
As I’m a mutton lover We ordered hummus bil laham and Istanbul laham chefs platter
Hummus bill laham is a must try for sure
The grilled meat blended perfectly with the hummus and the quantity was sufficient for 3
Now coming to the main course Laham chefs special platter
It had rice naam mutton gravy and 4 types of kabab - the idea was to explore the different types of kababs in one go
2 kabab were really good one was average and the chapli kabab was a real disappointment
On the positive side the quantity is more than sufficient for 4 and we were only3 so we had to parcel
Coming to the taste to be honest this is a very Indianised version of Turkish food and I don’t think it’s authentic in any sense
The food is tasty and mutton was well cooked but you can’t call it Turkish
Good Choice if you are going in a large group as quantity is very huge

The ambience is really beautiful and the place is well lit and air conditioned. The service here is amazing and so is the food quality. We ordered a thaal here along with veg Kadai and some butter Naan. The food was delicious. The quality and quantity is great. This place is newly opened and I hope they keep up with the quality of food that they serve here in times to come. We also tried their Turkish pudding which was amazing.

If you like or want to taste Lebanese food, then this is the place for you. Its ambiance is good. You would love the food here, and the quantity of the portions is also reasonable. All dishes are worth trying here. Service is a little slow so they can improve it. Otherwise, I enjoyed having dinner here.

The experience was nothing short of exceptional! The ambiance, service & most importantly, the food, left a lasting impression.
We visited for Sunday Dinner.
Got the Dastarkhana seating.
🥣 Dishes Tried:
🔸LEHSUNI CHANA: 5+/5👍🏻
A delightful start! The garlic-infused chickpeas were a burst of flavors, setting the perfect tone for the meal.

🔸CHAPLI KEBAB: 5+/5👍🏻
These kebabs were a culinary masterpiece—juicy, flavorful & paired perfectly with the accompanying chutney.

🔸KOLIWADA PRAWNS : 5/5
Big juicy, spicy & crispy prawns. Super delicious with traditional flavours.

🔸TANGDI GHEE ROAST: 2/5👎🏻
This was a bit disappointment. It was very bland. And no ghee aroma. They can improve this one.

🔸ARABIAN CHAMPAGNE: 5+/5 👍🏻
Refreshing. Arabian Champagne was a pleasant surprise. A perfect blend to complement the spicy dishes.

🔸MURGH KOYLA KADHAI: 5+/5 (must try)
The smoky essence & robust flavors of the Murgh Koyla Kadhai made it an instant favorite. Highly recommended for those who enjoy bold flavors.

🔸 TANDOORI ROTI, BUTTER PARATHA, BUTTER NAAN, BUTTER KULCHA:
The bread basket was a carb lover's dream! Each variety was freshly baked, soft, and served with a generous dollop of butter.

🔸 MUTTON HANEETH YEMANI MANDI: 5+/5👍🏻 (must try)
The Mutton Mandi was a showstopper. Tender mutton, perfectly spiced rice & the traditional preparation made it a memorable main course.

🔸 TURKISH MILK PUDDING (Tres Leches): 5+/5👍🏻 (must try)
The meal ended on a sweet note with the Turkish Milk Pudding. Creamy, sweet & a delightful conclusion to a fantastic dining experience. Minimal sweet, so thats great.

🌟Overall Impressions:
Istanbul Darbar not only offers a diverse menu but also ensures each dish is a celebration of flavors. The staff was attentive - they were so swift with the orders & changing plates & cleaning.
the ambiance created a perfect setting for a memorable meal. A definite must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful culinary journey.

Didn't had a very good experience yesterday. The food is very ordinary and didn't find anything exceptional though I ordered all the chef's special dishes.
The staff is also bit rude and rigid where they are just looking to increase your bill rather than catering the customer requirement.

Overall, I feel focus is mainly given on ambience rather than food which should be their primary goal. Very disappointed. 😔

I won't be recommending this to anyone.
Amazing ambiance with authentic cuisine. Our server,Irfan, was outstanding and had thorough knowledge about all the dishes. His suggestions were fab. If you are into cocktails, try Turkish Madness. It's a variation of LIT with real rose petals thrown in. The hot mezze platter was fab and we enjoyed the assorted fries as well. The kebabs were soft and had a melt in the mouth texture.

Worst experience and dishes was also not good. Too expensive as per other Kurla restaurants. I spent Rs.2300/- and order 3 dishes. 2 starters and 1 main course only chapli kabab was good. In main course Chicken was smelling even after cooking. Service was worst. Very bad experience and I never recommend to anyone.

So, if you think we deserve refund amount which we spent on that delicious dish than please you can refund by adding the given UPI id (wasimshaikh56@oksbi). I need only my refund of Rs.1450/- because your chapli kabab was worth what it was and I enjoy that dish very much.

The restaurant name itself turkey but with food quality is an average level turkish restaurant.. Price wise on higher side compare to the food quality. Some of the mutabbal and hummus and breads are at par with middle eastern quality apart from that evrything is mixed of indian tastes.. Not a bad choice of you are lookking for something change than our regular muglai and Chinese restaurant available in Indian Market.

Small Turkish cuisine restaurant in the bylanes of Veera Desai Road. One would need to put the location on a map to find this place. The ambience was cozy and aesthetically pleasing. The food was fresh, with special mention of the breads, which were soft and delicious. Cocktails were amazing. Recently, I visited Miniya Turk, where I experienced nice service and tasty food, as well as a nice ambience and attractive wall postures. The waitress was so friendly and helpful. But it's bit hard to find the exact location for first time 😂, I walked a lot to find it.
Good place for Turkish, Arabic and Mughlai food, we pre booked a table for 8 and hence we were allocated a separate family sitting cubicle. Valet parking is available. We ordered the Uzun Mix Platter - which according to the staff could feed 6 people but since we are not that heavy eaters the 8 of us couldn’t finish the platter hence we asked the staff to pack the remaining food and took it home. The platter consisted of 6pcs Lahm Barra Chop - 1 Seekh Adana Kebab - 6pcs Chicken Ankara Tikka
6pcs chicken chapli Kebab - 6 pcs Fish Koliwada - Chicken Gravy - Mandi Rice - Khepsa Rice - Family Naan. We also ordered for the Hummus and pita bread platter. The food was well cooked and tasty. For dessert we had some Turkish dessert which I can’t remember the name but it was awesome 👍
Pros
1. Excellent ambiance
2. Good staffs
3. Amazing food 😋 😍 👌
4.Multi-payment option
5. Nice location
6. Hygiene and clean
7. Serving portions are very good.
8. Food tried were less oily but with great taste
9. Value for money

Cons.
1. Limited parking space
2. Use of food color
3. A lot of scope for improvement i ambience & Hygiene in general.
The resturant is very congested. The ambience is very good and decent.Everything is well maintained but we cant filled my stomach with ambiance so we had orders thair special dish which is Chicken Marmara istanbul tikka the quantity of food is very less and the dish is very salty we had enquire with waiters that is this dish is very salty so they said no so we had complaint with thair manager and thair manager had not apologies with that he casually says ohk we can change but this not how you are going treat to your customers so we had denied then we had order KUNAFA that is also very bad in taste.
I better suggest that Please don't go.. its a total waste of money Waste of money not worthy we had told to the manager and waiter we will not come again in this resturant. the quality of both dishesh is not good
I never had this experience in my entire life , they had show us some different ,
Bring some different .
The rice was not even fresh and they were behaving like they are the top in the Foodies .
Please don't go..
Waste of money
I have spent 2800 rupees

Pistachio milk cake was the highlight of the dinner.
We ordered Hummus platter, baked potato and a herb bread.
Everything was so yumm, even if you are full - you will still eat more.
Staff is extremely polite.
They know when to come in and when to move out.
Very slow and impolite service. Take a lot of time to prepare the order, so visit if you have lot of time to spare. Taste of Shawarma is average, has kind off minty and gravy flavour.

UNHAPPY !

LOCATION:
Firstly, keep an eye out for Boards and Ask the security, the entry to the place is like a puzzle, via an industrial estate, into another building! Google Maps may take to you closer, jot to the final destination.

AMBIENCE:
Fab when the occupancy is low, when we Entered at 8ish, only 2 tables were occupied and the place was peaceful, with good music vibes and decent decor.

By 9ish, it was upto 80% occupancy, noisy, kids crying, waiters shouting orders, etc

FOOD: (We eat Veg. Only)
The overall food looks and tastes good. It cutlery is unique and pretty. The portion sizes are good for two. But we felt bloated post dinner (maybe we ate more!)

We had ordered for Medley Hummus Platter, Cottage Cheese Pide (Turkish Pizza, Shaped like a boat) and a falafel wrap along with Hoegaarden Beer.

The Hummus Platter was good (Bay route has it better), Turkish Pizza was bland, they forgot the sides! Falafel Wrap was decent (they again forgot to not add raw onions in it as we had requested)

SERVICE:
Great service if you see only couple of tables around you, otherwise it's the worst.

First, always check if they placed your order in the kitchen, we waited almost 45mins for our food, enquired multiple times and then they realized they forgot to place the order in the system/kitchen!

Second, food preferences, customization won't happen. We asked our wraps to be minus of the raw onions, but we got them as they make it. So if you are allergic or have religious beliefs, avoid ordering the item with those ingredients, coz they won't consider your request.

Overall the staff is polite and cheerful, but also forgetful. Some more training, more experience, better systems in place.

I'll not visit this place again.
If you are planning to visit the place then please DO NOT VISIT. We were the first customers tonight and yet the ankara chicken served was half cook and the service was extremely poor. The staff and especially the one I guess who was the manager was very casual and busy talking. All their starters have the same dressing. The food tastes below average. The tawa bhuna gosht was served by the staff where he dropped it on the table while serving.
Most important there was hair in my food. I hope legit I could get a refund for this dinner.
If the restaurant owner is reading this then please look into the food taste and staff behaviour.
Fraud Fraud Fraud. These people are cheating people, they don't have anything called veg food items which they are claiming in their menu. They are serving Veg food with egg based mayonnaise. This is one thing we get to know , and I assume there might be other issues in their food.

I have been here two times before and this was the third time I went there.
For dinner we had -

Corn and cheese Kuru with chicken-
It was a mashed potato and mixed blend of corns, cheese, chicken, mixed herbs and was topped with parsley. They kept the out skin of the potato intact. All the flavours were mixed appropriately. A bit bland to taste.

Mutton and Egg Pide -
It was like a flat bread pizza. Was the best dish we tried in evening. It was awesome to taste and full of meat.
**MUST TRY**

Spinach and feta triangle -
It was crispy from outside and and soft from inside containing spinach. It was stopped with cheese and was served with a small cheese dip. Very tasty. A bit bland to taste.

Herbed bread -
It was complementary. This bread was soft and was served with oil dip.

It costed somewhat around 1800. Was a good experience and would like to visit again and again.
The table service was a little bit weak I guess because of party or family guest bulk reservations. If we talk about food Chicken Ankara Tikka was way good and delicious but Lahum Mutton khapsa was not up to the mark because we have been told by the steward that the khapsa will be slightly spicy with no sweetness but we felt it like a zarda rice (a type of desert which is basically a sweet rice with some essence or mithe chawal) after contacting him and told him to taste a bit his response was that it is not sweet. We don't know whether the food was really sweet or we have got our taste buds sick😆😂. No doubt the ambience is quite simple and decent. Everything is well maintained. Just need to be more sharp if we come on the topic of guest satisfaction and attention.
Last night i dined here..awsome,delicious taste, polite staff, Ambience is good..
Amazing!!! Especially for chicken and mutton eaters. Highly recommended the non veg platters for a group of 4-6 adult eaters. Good ambience. Reasonably priced. Not sure if the taste of the dishes are authentic Turkish but a great overall experience.
It is a good restaurant but a little bit conjusted. The Service was quick and very hospitable. Food was good but not the best when we compare wity others in the same location.

We had below dishes.
Chicken Turkish Tandoori- 5/5 (medium spicy) Rs.Full 550/Half 275
Chicken Barra Kebab- 3/5 (creamy kids will like it) Rs.Full 550/Half 275
Dajaj khepsa- 3/5 (It was more like a Mandi with served with gravy. Quantity is good 4 people with 2 kids can have it) Rs. Full 800

This place does look good but the food was just average (not worth the price to be honest). In starters the Murmura Kebabs tasted good but other than that we didn’t like anything. The butter chicken was very sweet and it shouldn’t be like that. Shahi Tukda tasted weird as well. Also, the staff was very unprofessional as well, very casual, I mean not the type you’d expect at a place like this.
They need to work a bit on these things but if they do it can be a great place for Turkish food.

Turkey Central is one of the known restaurant chains specially for Turkish fusion Cuisines . Talking about its new outlet in Oshiwara . It has amazing and Royal ambience with a very courteous staff .

Talking about the food it’s really good in taste specially if you try their specialty items from their menu .

Talking about the price it’s totally depends on the food you choose overall it’s a good experience.

I would definitely like to visit this place again .
This was an unmitigated disaster. We have one word of advice for someone planning to visit. "D'ONT". There are far far better places out there who actually know what they are doing. We ordered the spinach and feta triangles. To start. The feta was used as a garnish and not part of the actual dish, and the spinach had dill mixed through it which overpowered it completely. We thought we tasted it, asked the server, he said no, went back and checked with the kitchen. We were right. Disastrous start to the evening, but we persevered. We ordered the lamb Patti kebab. It tasted like the chef put whatever spice he could lay hands on into it. Nowhere close to the Mediterranean flavour we know so well. Could have easily come out of any North West frontier kitchen. We wanted a mint tea, but all they had were tea bags. Are we really paying restaurant rates for teabags dipped in hot water?
We didn't want to ruin our evening by trying anything else, and went elsewhere.

This place in located in the prime area of Oshiwara, it's a huge restaurant which serves mughlai cuisine & are experts in Turkish food. If you want to try turkish dishes then this is a ideal place to visit. The place has indoor/outdoor sitting with subtle ambience. Good place to visit with family. The price are on a little higher but its worth it.

What we ordered:
- Chicken Ankara Tikka, a must try
- Chicken Ouzi Pot Rice
- Litchi Punch & English Garden Mocktails
- Shahi Tukda

The quantity & quality of the food is good, you can surely try the above mentioned things.

Food quantity & quality was top notch.💯
I will highly recommend this place if you are a non-veg lover.

Overall a great experience.❤️
The Food is Good..
Shawarma tastes good but the mayonnaise has been poured double the size of shawarma due to which the mayonnaise slipped out from Rumali and fell on floor.

The restaurant was a mixed bag for me. The food is almost 100% non- vegetarian so if you are a veggie keep away. The menu largely covers chicken and mutton and barely any seafood. The service was quick and the food was good. The starters are quite large portions good enough for 3 to 4 people. So be careful to order if there are just 2 of you as it can get a bit too much to finish - to me it was. No alcohol here. I strongly recommended to avoid sitting in the open like I did as the mosquitoes will drink you dry. It’s not that the restaurant was not clean - it’s well maintained. I am certain you would have the same problem in almost every restaurant in the vicinity if you sit outside. The food is reasonably priced too. Probably not the place I would recommend if you are looking to have a laugh and a good time with a bunch of friends or family.

Located at the exit of kundanoor bridge towards nettoor, on the service road. Parking can be done on the roadside, but only for a few vehicles. Ambience is nice and pleasant with good interior designs. Staff members are very polite and organised. Ordered the following dishes -

Chicken cheese fries - This was a great dish with a good amount of cheese topped on the french fries, though the quantity could have been a bit more.

Bektash Special Plate Shawarma - Ordered one chicken and one beef, this dish was tasty with sufficient quantity. One of the highlight dishes of the cafe.

Double zinger burger- Tasted good, but was not extraordinary.

Drinks - Ordered a peach iced tea, a snickers shake and an oreo shake. While the iced tea was too sweet, the shakes were good.

Overall, this cafe offers good dishes at decent prices, and certainly one of the best cafes in the area. Total price - 1148 rupees(for everything)

I love #Arabic food and I constantly keep hunting for a good restaurant that would serve Arabic cuisine. Recently discovered @miniyaturkmumbai .

This is located at Veera Desai Road, inside the lane of the Little door. While the place has been atleast 2yrs old, we found it through @zomato when we were in same vicinity. Another Turkish restaurant, next door refused to give us table though we had called them earlier...but it was good that happened or else we would have not discovered this new place.

The staff is super friendly and courteous. They suggest dishes to order, explain their preparation and also guide with the portion sizes. The ambience is pretty.

What we ordered:
1. Zatar Tavuk Pide: Pide is Traditional Turkish flatbread. The bread combined with various toppings cooked to form a common Turkish meal; Turkish pizza.

This one was stuffed with chicken, olives, caper and spices.

Just like pizza, baked to perfection. Stuffing was delicious.

2. Shawarma Wrap

3. Falafel

4. Turkish Baklava: this was little different from what I have eaten otherwise. It was stuffed with dates stuffing and topped with dryfruits. Loved it.

Price wise it is quiet descent, costs minimum Rs.2500 for two. They also serve alcohol.

The chef here is well trained, the food definitely has the authenticity of #Turkish cuisine.

We will soon be visiting again, they have so many different varieties of Turkish meals available on their menu.

Hospitality: 4.5/5

PS. Parking is an issue but one can park on the side of the fly over. Try and go on bike if possible, or else be ready to accomodate.
