Entry is 60rs per head. Kids below 5 years have free entry.
Just a 15-20 minutes walk to see the sand sculptors. Inside that there is separate area for 3D image taking , fish spa, bird feeding etc which has separate tickets to be bought at their own respective entrances.

Entry was 60 per head . Nice work by artist . Has few small shops with handmade chocolates and
Handicrafts .. but very dusty .. has an archery playing place with additional payment... has a few large pics where you can take almost near realistic pics like hulk , palace , kali ma..etc.
Sand art is very nice ..measurements are propotionate and detailing is nice .

Very beautiful business developed by sir and his family no one would have thought making sculptures and coating them with sand can become a money making tool my POV the sculpture were as is made in clay or something and then coated with sand the entry ticket is @60 per head for adult for a 10min sculpture seeing.
Frankly speaking if you're not going to take pictures over there don't go because it's not that intresting other then taking pictures I see the same old sculptures from 5 year ago Google review anyways.
Amazing business idea awesome execution.
And don't forget to give 5 star rating for using 3D picture gallery
Good place to spend time with family and friends. One time watchable place when ur around Mysore.

If you have other Better plans or busy plans then this place can be skipped.

Tickets are bit high.
My point of view is even though the art is good, it doesn't feel too interesting to see, maybe due to modernization or something.
Superb place
It's a very small place but the sand art work done is quite impressive. Good to take pictures and buy some local handicrafts and artifacts. The price is not justified though. You would have to negotiate a lot.
There is some home made.chocolates counter also inside.
And in the end there is a 3d picture booth. If you learn the trick then pictures do come out nice.

A very good experience
Mr. Vicky who was our Driver was very Humble Helpful Car was very well maintained
Highly Recommended 👍
Stepping into the Mysore Sand Museum felt like embarking on a journey through an enchanting world crafted entirely from grains of sand. As I entered, I was immediately struck by the meticulous attention to detail evident in every sculpture. The dim lighting added to the ambiance, casting a soft glow that accentuated the intricate carvings.

One of the most impressive aspects was the sheer diversity of subjects covered in the sculptures. From historical landmarks to cultural icons, each creation seemed to tell a unique story, transporting visitors through time and space.

Overall, the Mysore Sand Museum offered a captivating blend of art, culture, and craftsmanship. It was a truly unique experience that left me inspired and enriched, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Mysore.

Beware...Worst experience with car rental

As much as I want to appreciate the professionalism of Ravi....unless he is giving your personal service, you should take these 5 star reviews with pinch of salt. Do your own due diligence as these drivers may be just some local taxi drivers without route & place knowledge and highway/long trip driving experience...can be frstrating and unsafe.

Our experience with driver Manish Sharma was the worst. We got the hint of his poor and dangerous driving skills while coming from airport but we gave benifit of doubt. That was our biggest mistake. 10 days of nightmare started.

Very unprofessional, rude, dangerous driving. He tried to trick us giving excuses to avoid taking us to attractions by stopping far away and telling to take auto. We found out he is trying to cheat us.
Vehicle was in poor condition with worn out tyres, poor headlights...very dangerous for long highway and night driving.

On top of it, he was always on phone no wireless headset, gutka smell and pathetic highway driving skills made our trip a nightmare. We could not use AC as the gutka smell was so strong it started giving headache without fresh air.

Inspite of repeated requests, he kept ignoring and started picking fight with us.

Be careful and choose right rental and driver before you choose to put your life in someone else's hands.
This palace was absolutely beautiful. Must visit in historical Mysore.
Mysuru is a traditional historic place with rich heritage of temples & monuments. One of a cleanest city in india. Best noted as pensioners paradise for it's peaceful n calm nature of the city.

Our guide for the four of us ( two couples) was very knowledgeable. Secured seating for us. When we got to the Island he was so informative and intelligent that I realized that unless someone explained everything to you...the entire cultural experience would be missed. He took us from the beginning till we were dropped off.An incredible day and he had alot to do with it. Always remember if you wear shorts and a t-shirt is a sign of disrespect . One gentleman when we arrived at the island became invisible ! Please show respect to their history

Had a great afternoon with watching behind the scenes while shooting two favourite top shows on star plus, watched some Bollywood dances, and also to make it easier we had a fantastic English speaking tour guide that was very professional and experience.
Would recommend it, I have plenty of photos to prove it ❤️

Just wanted to pass along our thoughts on the Bollywood tour as we felt our experience was a little disappointing to say the least for the City + Bollywood Tour.

Starting with the very beginning, the guide was late in the morning. We planned for 9-930 the night before, but he didn't arrive until 10:30am citing traffic as the reason. But as Indians we are all well aware that traffic is the norm in Mumbai and should be planned for accordingly.

A late start means everything was either delayed or rushed as a result. We proceeded with the tour and had to mention each of the viewpoints serving as a reminder whereas I would think it's an expectation that the guide would show us everything without mention. At Taj and Gateway of India we made a short stopover but were wondering that for us it turned out that we had already seen it before but for other tourists how would you expect them to see and enjoy the place in a short rushed time? We then reminded him of Mani Bhawan and other viewpoints, before making our way towards "star homes".

This was definitely the most oversold part of the tour as we saw Shahrukh Khan and Salman's house and Farhan Akhtar. In fact there were other houses on the way that we enquired about to which the guide informed us that it belonged to this celebrity etc, but again I would think this is an expectation, especially when your travellers are Indian. (no kidding, I was able to provide more celebrity addresses on an Ola cab ride) we asked of other houses in Pali Hill and Amitabh's house but it was "out of the way" and also apparently the houses you show depends on where the tour begins which is quite disappointing, a tour should have a proper itinerary.

After the fact, I also reconciled with the word doc and noticed the restaurant we were taken to was Shalimar and not Copperchimney - we were not given an option and once again, this speaks to my point that as the guest I felt like I should have policed the entire route and every fine detail (maybe I should have gotten paid to be the co-pilot). The restaurant was definitely not hygienic as there were fruit flies on pickles and even our drinks but since we were already "late" for the dance we made our way out to SJ. The studio itself is pretty substandard and for serials, yet the guide did a good job to show us around because he was kind enough to arrange us another viewing of another shoot at Filmistaan. At the same time, he emphasized that it was a personal favor though he mentioned the company has relations with studios so they are aware of shoots so not sure if the facts reconciled there and if it really was an additional favor. Such additional favors feel quite burdening so would try and watch the language for guests.

The highlights were the singing studio though again the experience should not feel rushed and feel as if it is not included in the tour but done as a favor. (The guide was kind to ask if any of us sings, but if we said no it would not be a part of the tour... I would expect the tour to be complete as per the itinerary because a traveller would not know what a recording studio experience is like regardless of whether or not they sing). It should be a more organized natural part of the tour as it changes the way one perceives the tour and enjoys it.

All in all, at over $200 per person the tour was not worth the price whatsoever. The car itself was substandard, I'm sure at that cost a newer fresher car can be arranged as it smelled of smoke (cigarette smokes) which is quite disgusting.

Bollywood Tours has Some tie-ups with Bollywood studios with they take us behind the scenes. They have Professional and Experienced tour Guides . In Tour we see actors houses in Bandra and then Studios and sets where we watch how people work and act and much. The tour ends with series of dances. Expensive but Worthy
