Unique Architecture ! Islamic look. Good museum inside the tomb.

Simple tomb with a small museum but a great genius scientist is buried in it considering the second book printed after Bible in Europe was one of his manuscripts.

Vakil Bath, Wakil Bath, or Wakil Hammam is an old public bathhouse (hammam) in Shiraz, Iran. It was a part of the royal district constructed during Karim Khan Zand's reign (1751–1779) which includes the Arg of Karim Khan, Vakil Bazaar, Vakil Mosque and many administrative buildings. It is located on the west side of the Vakil Mosque. The hammam was originally intended for use by the nobility and continued to be in use up until the 20th century.

Visiting in the evening is better because of the lighting Abu Ali Sina Mausoleum is the tomb of a famous Iranian physician and philosopher who lived in the 4th century AH. This tomb, which is considered one of Hamadan's landmarks and a symbol of this city, is not just a tomb, and in addition to the tomb of Sheikh Al-Raees, it is the burial place of Abu Saeed Dakhdouk, one of Ibn Sina's friends, and the tomb of Abul Qasim Aref Qazvini, the national poet of Iran. There is also a museum to learn about Abu Ali Sina and the science of medicine in this place. A beautiful green space can be seen around the tomb, which has given it a double charm.

Ibn Sina who is regarded as one of the most significant physicians, astronomers, philosophers, and writers of the Islamic Golden Age (1000 years ago) His most famous works are The Book of Healing, a philosophical and scientific encyclopedia, and The Canon of Medicine, a medical encyclopedia which became a standard medical text at many medieval universities

It was my second visit to the Mausoleum of Avicenna; I like this place very much because of its impressive and unique architecture. The museum is also excellent because it shows different herbs with their medical information.
I liked the carpets at the museum, which are good examples of Persian art and the Persian rug.

My grandfather’s uncle (who raised my grandfather) built this bathhouse. His wife often would say how she wished someone would build a nice bathhouse in the area, because all the other ones were very old and so hard to get to. Unfortunately she passed away when she was young, and they did not have children of their own. My grandfather’s uncle went to her gravesite and promised he would build a bathhouse to help everyone in the community. He used 50,000 tomans of his own money and singlehandedly build this. It took 4 years until he was finished. By then my grandfather was 17 and preparing to go to college. Instead, he wanted to help his uncle and show gratitude for raising him, so he dropped out of school and worked behind the register at the bathhouse, managing all the money. Eventually, he opened his own store selling TV parts and became very successful. He got married to my grandmother and had five children. Today he is living in America surrounding by his many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who love him dearly. He often tells us about the beloved “Hamoom”.

Not spectacular yet level of medicine tools back 1000 years ago ...impressive

Great atmosphere with very tactful and smart architecture by legendary Iranian architect, Houshang Seyhoun. The museuem is worth a visit too and introduces old Iranian medical textbooks, tools, and approaches, some established by Avicenna himself.

حمام کشوریه از مکان های بسیار قدیمی و مربوط به کلیمیان تهرانه که متاسفانه بازدید برای عموم آزاد نیست و تنها گهگداری با تورهای کنیسه گردی میتونید داخلشو ببینید.

متاسفانه حمام بسته است و بازدید عمومی نداره.

This royal bath or Hamam is located in south-eastern part of Zand Citadel which was built by the order of Karim Khan.That was a private place for royal family taking shower and he ordered to built a general Hamam and very beautiful one for the other people near Vakil Mosque and Bazar.
At the time of Pahlave The First, when the usage of Citadel changed to Prison, soldiers and commanders take shower every day and swedge system could not transfered water out of citadel and now a days visitors can see one of the citadel's tower in a different shape and maybe it is falling down!

Here is a hammam could be visited while you're in Karimkhan citadel. Ticket price is included in the main ticket of citadel.

Last resting place of Avicenna, or Abu Ali as he is locally known as. Grounds are nicely kept, the museum is disappointing for such a great historic figure who has contributed so much to the world, even into modern times.

But you can't go by yourself, you should find tour

The Monument is surrounded by a very nice park. The Monument it self consists of a very massive base, probably inspired by frech revolutionary architecture of late 18th century and a quite bad interpretation of the Gonbad-e Kabus Monument. The Kabus Tower represents a star of twelve beams, that grows out of a cycle and ends in a cycle. It 's not a cylinder toped with a cone on 12 columns.
All in all a good example for architecture of the 1930s although built in 1954.
Museum has lacks lettering in English.

حمام بسیار زیبا و قدیمی متعلق به کلیمیان تهران. فعلا در این حمام عمومی بسته است و بازدید عمومی ندارد. اداره این مکان با انجمن کلیمیان است.
