The entire coast line is beautiful. A mist to drive along the stretch.
Careful as narrow and full of bends.

Free public beach of about 100m of black sand between private beaches. A bit of rubbish but nothing off putting. Water was still clear. We went mid Saturday in the middle of July and there was still space. A steep 5-10 minute walk down and back up some stairs, but google maps directions are correct and signs point down the path to the beach. About 15 minutes from Vico train station.
We’ve been staying close to Salerno for about a week, and one of the days we took a day trip to the Maiori beach. And we just loved it! Sooo perfect for families with kids, clean, playgrounds, safe beach, very very nice vibes.

We definitely wanna come over again and stay in Maiori for the whole holiday.
Totally recommend it!!

Ok
A beautiful beach community that's home to so many incredibly awesome people. I'll never be able to thank those who were kind to me enough for everything. Leaving here with thousands of photos. Truly bringing Italy home with me.
Spiaggia molto bella e suggestiva, mare tendenzialmente sempre pulito.
Nice place, with many bars nearby. The beach has a public access you can walk around if it’s not so crowded. It’s a good place to spend a couple of hours, relax, have a drink and why not swim a little bit.
Like so much of Amalfi Coast, totally congested and totally worth it. The price of our lunch was forgotten when I think of the experience of boarding the ferry and heading off to the next beach. Just Do It.

We took the trail path that had a lot of steps, there is another way from Minori, that would’ve been much easier and the steps could’ve been used just to get down

Very good service 🫶 And Anna helps for everything
My favourite spot slightly less busy than the other beach bars and the home cooked food is always delicious
Lovely beach. Just a heads up though, all of the space on the beach is taken up by beach chairs you need to pay for to. Very unfair considering it is supposed to be open to everyone. A total win since the walk back is going uphill and is a bit more difficult.

Just a overestimated place where 90% of surface are empty umbrellas where is mandatory to pay 40€ per person to access the beach. Otherwise, the “public beach” is a tiny strip by the end of the area. Food and drinks with “tourist trap” taste. A place not to go.

All the beaches along the Amalfi coast are fantastic with their own features. But Maiori beach has the unique benefit of given the most sunshine throughout the day. Most beaches get covered by the mountain shadow after 6pm (august timeframe), hence this is the best beach especially with family
Nice little private beach. Fair prices, the bar offers some food and drinks.
Unfortunately, the water carries lots of garbage, not the owner's fault and probably a general problem around Naples, but it still makes one feel uncomfortable about going into the water.
Amazing views of the coast, i’d recommend you to go swimming to the last private beach and look back to the view, it’s just breathtaking.

Great free beach, you can have a magnificent view of Vesuvius and enjoy a volcanic kind of sand, be mindful of that fact if you don’t like it. We really enjoyed our afternoon there. Water is clean and warm, you can also have a drink there in a bar nearby.
The public beach is beautiful but very small and you can only swim in a small triangle. Next to where we were swimming there were boats coming and going. One of those even unloaded trash to a cart.
Lovely beach club. The entrance fee is 7€/person and the umbrella is included in the price. The entrance into the see is quite rocky, my friend cut her foot as well. So it be best to wear water shoes.

Good public beach with a nice view, not too crowded but little bit uncomfortable due to the pebbles
Very beautiful but the beach is very small if you don’t want to pay and if you do is 35€ a person. But overall a very beautiful place and views. (3 stars just regarding the beach part)

If you need not to experience swimming in the garbage in the sea, do not go there! I don’t know whether it depends on season or circumstances… We could see various items floating in the water - plastic bags, plastic scraps, shoe insole, even sanitary napkins..really many thing you really do not want meet in the sea..
The beach backgound is very nice, but you go to the beach because of the sea and not just to look at it from the sunbed or bar..
Moreover the bar was not providing many drinks (no Mai Tai, Mojito, Pina Colada..) so we ended with Gintonics..

Great public beach (free) on pebbles next to paid area on black sand. Steep walk down from the park; make sure you go under the road on walkway at the top of the just after the park. At beach go all the way to the right and short swim to isolated hotel beach that has free area and I guess food. Water can be a bit rough so careful with young swimmers.
X ARRIVARE IN QUESTA SPIAGGIA HO PRESO UN BUS DA SORRENTO DELLA EAV.. SCESA IN UN PARCHEGGIO DI ULIVI SI PAGA 2 EURO IL PASSAGGIO PEDONALE E SI SCENDE TRAMITE SCALETTE ALLA SOGLIERA.. PECCATO X I SOLITI INCIVILI CHE LASCIANO MOZZICONI ... BOTTIGLIE DI PLASTICA E TANTO ALTRO MALGRADO CI FOSSE IL BIDONE DEI RIFIUTI

The food here is incredible! For reasonable prices too, my family enjoyed it. We came in here with no reservation on a weekend night and they were still able to accommodate us! But we do recommend to get a reservation. Unfortunately while they were very busy they forgot one of our items. The seafood was to die for we got the sea bass, fried cod, and grilled fish tris (swordfish, kettlefish, and prawn). The dessert was amazing, the truffles are unlike anything i have ever tried! And the cheesecake was so flavorful! The atmosphere here is amazing with lights, ocean view, and the area. Family friendly, and many locals in the area. Definitely recommend.

Very quiet and calm beach. I would recommend this beach over any beach in Amalfi/Positano if you're looking to sun bathe and actually relax. The water was great, clean, and the sun beds and umbrellas were much cheaper than you would find at the larger more popular beaches. 10€.
Little crowdy, but view of Positano from the beach is always worth it.
American travellers! This place was great!! Would give more stars if I could. The beach was clean. Bathrooms and a shower house on site. We paid 28 euro for four lounge chairs and they let us use two umbrellas for free. Very polite folks, and thankfully, a couple of folks there spoke decent English. There is a nice bar with a patio on site, with food served in the afternoon. 35 euro for four mixed drinks and two bags of chips. Would definitely recommend!

The people here are incredibly lovely. Lovely little hideaway on the beach, but the quality of the food is a little below average
It’s hard to reach there, although you can have the glance from the top. It’s nice from top the view of the sea is amazing.

The people here are incredibly lovely. I lost my phone at the public beach next door and all of their staff let me use their phones and helped me to find it. I amazingly got it back and they then let me into their beach for free. I can’t emphasise enough how nice they were while I was in a flustered panic. Please visit and support these kind hearted people!

The beach has a great view of the sun setting over the water and you can see Mt Vesuvius behind you from the water.

Nice beach with lots of beach bars and restaurants. Sunbeds can be expensive, depending on the Proximity to the sea, but at the end of the beach you can sit for free with your own equipment.
Municipal parking spots cost 5€ /hour in August (if you're lucky enough to find any.
Small but comfortable little beach between Pompei and Naples. There is a bar so you can not be thirsty. Also place for changing your clothes are provided.
You only should pay for the hammock chairs, the umbrella is free. Only con is, there is no shower to wash your body after leaving the sea.

Just what you need🤩
Posto incantevole, pulito.
From what I was able to see this is the smallest but cutest beach I've ever been to. The sand is volcanic black, the space is limited, but gorgeous. Flowers hang from a boardwalk leading to changing rooms and a bar. On the beach are lounging chairs with sunshade for your face. I only came and sat at the bar to enjoy the setting sun with a glass of wine.

Nice food, great service, fab location

Warning:
Unfriendly, give aus the table on the entrance, told us the rest is reserved but it was the whole night empty
No good food
Nice private beach. Entry price is 5 euro, it includes beach lounging and umbrella. Staff is polite and friendly, there is a bar with moderate (maybe even low) prices (aperol spritz 5, beer 0.33 5 euro, salad with fish 7.5). Water is opaque and clean, except the garbage floating on the surface (see photo). Water is super warm.

Wunderbare Aussicht, klares Wasser und ein Parkplatz im Olivenhain. Einfach Traumhaft.
Absolutely amazing and stunning place to see the sunrise... You can reach down from one place which has downhill walk. If you prefer not to go there is still a place with a bench on the road side with a beautiful panoramic view.
However as a tip it would be better if you go with proper shoes because walking down hill is sleepery.

Trekked all the way to this beach only to find out tourists are not allowed. Big disappointment.
The lido, not sure. But people super nice and lunch aperitivo quite interesting. The building itself, which shows it's time, stays so far as a beautiful monument of the old Tortoreto... Love it..

Nice location, just that! Unable to face the problems. If you mess it up at least try to compensate some way. Terrible! 2 HOURS for an hamburger, pasta oversalted. For this price we expected a much better service. In the end we asked a limoncello (after a 260€ bill).....and asked us an extra. I don't suggest it....
Wouldn't say its a swimming spot unless you had scuba shoes. Great sunbathing spot
Amazing landscape

Lovely little hideaway on the beach. Not the easiest place to find but worth the walk. The beach is obviously black sand, you can see across to Naples. Nice atmosphere as well. The local sometimes appear to take a short intake of breath when the tourist walks in. The choice of drinks was great, staff are pleasant. Nice little beach bar that the locals seemed to love.

A great beach for everyone. Especially for families with children. Bar, toilet, beach volleyball, tennis court, showers. Excellent!
Very nice white rock. Everyone should visit. Best fun in Ancona 😉
Good spot, nice view

One of the classier beaches in Herculaneum. But given the state of the beaches here, it's not great. Water is not very clean, a bit oily too. There is a heavily used free beach next to the private area. But fun to cool off in the hot weather.

I've had the pizza here, and it was good. The Lido is well organized with lots of activities to keep children busy playing. We usually go to the beach at other nearby places, but the children keep coming back here to play.
