Great bakery with Italian classics. No coffee, but you can grab some from the shop across the street and bring it in. Not a lot of seating room.
Cutest bakery with the best tiramisu I’ve ever had! Staff was so nice too! Our hotel is right around the corner, so we plan on coming back several times before we leave. Would highly recommend!
The BEST bakery I have been to in Florence!! Every pastry is SO fresh and so delicious, and the coffee is great too - as well as being very reasonably priced. The atmosphere inside is super cute too and it’s so nice to sit and enjoy your coffee/food if you have time. This is not the closest bakery or coffee shop to where I stay in Florence, but I will go out of my way to come here every day that I can because of how good it is!

As a vegan in Florence this was a really nice place to go. I had the courgette bread (?) and it was really tasty, hoping to go back and get the potato or tomato!
We ate here almost every morning in Florence. The coffee is incredibly smooth. The pastries are fresh and delicious. We sampled quite a few but the blackberry crossiant was my favorite. They have maritozzo which you cannot find a lot of outside of Rome. The cantuccini was so delicious that I bought some bags to take home. The ragazze working are friendly and helpful even if you cannot speak a lot of Italian. Prices are reasonable, 6€ for 2 coffees and 2 pastries. We will miss our colazione here!

Nice little shop right next to a popular spot that has long lines but this place was really inexpensive- great sandwich and very sweet service.. sometimes all hyped up places r too much and right next to them is a gem😎😎

Lovely bakery with a huge variety of pastries and breads. We tried the raisin rosemary bread which was an interesting flavor as well as a cookie with Nutella which was yum! Excellent cappuccino and OJ. Friendly servers and quick service
What an absolutely delightful group of employees. Everything was magnifico! Cappuccino, pastries, need I say more. Their loaf of Italian bread was by far the best we had throughout our travels in Italy. What even made this better was that our loft was right across the street. If In Florence, make this a most go stop! You will not be disappointed! Ghibellina is definitely a hidden gem!

My dad and I were wandering around looking for a quick lunch spot when we stumbled upon Forno Ghibellina. Deciding to give it a try was a decision we didn’t regret! The staff greeted us with warmth and attentiveness that made us feel right at home. The food was nothing short of amazing – we enjoyed two slices of pizza, two desserts, and two drinks, all for an incredible 16€. The value for money here is outstanding. We were especially impressed by the variety of options on display; there’s so much more we’re eager to try. We’re definitely planning a return visit to Forno Ghibellina. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious and affordable dining in a welcoming atmosphere!
10/10 the best cantucci in Florence. Baked fresh daily, and they can wrap it nicely if you tell them it’s for gifting. Do yourself a favor, don’t buy from the market even though it’s cheaper because they are not fresh. Don’t believe me then go try and taste one. I regretted not buying more. I pay €6 for about 200-220 grams. It’s a bit more than the market but way cheaper than the airport . Again, I have to stress how moist, delicious and fresh it is was. Our walking tour guide, Armando, brought us here to introduced us to the delicious delicacy. Normally I don’t buy from those recommend by tours as they get a cut or something, but not this case. And since our hotel was nearby , we actually got the chance to try it and their other bakes. I would go back to Florence for Forno’s cantucci. The place hidden by the leather bags stalls do look around.
This place was stunningly good and they definitely deserve the positive ratings. Good was lovely and fresh, creative, yet traditional. Its the kind of place I'd travel back to Florence to enjoy. We had the plain pizza and the amazing potato pizza which we adored, also got some biscotti and amaretti as a gift that were soooo nice, I had to get a bag for myself and it was all worth every penny. The place was clean and inviting and the lady that served us was polite, friendly and welcoming. Totally worth the trip to find the place ❤️

I discovered this small and cozy bakery shop walking around in Florence City center. I ordered cappuccino and croissants and they were really nice and fresh. The croissant with pistachio cream had lots of cream in the middle. The price was really good given the area where it is located. I saw many locals buying their bread and pastries here so assumed they knew where to find good and fresh stuff.
The lady that took my order was extremely helpful and polite.

Forno con dei prodotti di ottima qualità, il costo è un po' più alto rispetto ad altri forni ma la differenza sta nel giorno dopo, il pane può essere mangiato perché non diventa marmo! Ma dovete andarci entro le 18:30 perché altrimenti rischiate di non trovare nulla! Cornetti in lievito madre enormi e buonissimi! Il servizio dovrebbe essere un po' più celere.

I asked a local in Florence what is the best bakery. He directed me to Leonardo’s. I ended up visiting 2 of their locations and was so impressed with both. Beautiful boutique style bakery and matching deliciousness! I will stop back every time I am in Florence.

All biscottis were good, the ones I love were the one with the red point over that’s tasted to Dissaronno, the one with almonds really crunchie and tasty, the one with Fig, awesome! All of them, you need to try, also the ones not good looking and plains are very good for a tea time 🥰 And the salad flat crunchy bread, Focaccia Secca very good to eat with oliva oil! 🙏🏼 Yummy! 🍷 a must to go,even if you are near to Mercato Centrale!

Best bakery in Florence! Family ran, grandma helped me pick out the pastries I was looking for, so kind, so fresh so delicious! Really good Cantucci, “Grandpa Bread”, cookies, and Strachino cheese prosciutto coccoli.

Very friendly owner and good food with high quality
Breakfast/food options were tasty, crisp, warm - very nice. But I kept coming back for desserts. Prices were better than elsewhere in central Florence. Great variety. Top notch place for a desert treat. Feb 2023.

Came across this place on a recent trip to Italy. They had beautiful storefront and friendly people working there.
Their wide selection of flavors and types of biscotti were in baskets, and you were able to pick out what you wanted. I picked out a sampling of almost everything, but ended up liking the pistachio pieces the best. Great texture and flavor.

Both sweet and savory pastries were delicious, especially the long shaped flat pizza (I do not know if it has a special name) with olives in the dough and tomato sauce and herbs on it. I really wanted to try more things from this backery but my stay in Florence was too short...

Terrible service, ordered coffee and had to go inside to get my coffee with no sugar or teaspoon on side. They never cleaned our table who were still had cups and garbage on it from previous customers.

This bakery was really solid in a good location near the plaza we were staying in. The croissants were a tad sweet for our taste, but we definitely enjoyed this quick bakery breakfast.

This must be the best kept secret in all of Florence. We were on our way to the great Synagogue in Florence and walked past Leonard's. Initially we got a chocolate croissant for 1 EUR. It was unbelievablely good. Fresh, flaky, sweet but not too sweet...we saw them making fresh breads through their open bakery and we thought wow, we should come back later. After we went to the Synagogue, we came back and had a pizza of sorts that was mixed with artichoke, baby tomatoes and zucchini. The bread, because it's a bakery, is out of this world. Imagine eating pizza at a bakery. That's how good this was! We couldn't leave without trying the biscotti, so we packed up on nearly a pound of fresh biscotti of all different varieties...also just baked that day!
If you are in Florence visiting, you must come here. This is a very local shop, and it is off the tourist path, but your time and effort will be worth this treat.

The cantucci are excellent - always fresh and delicious. The owners are also quite nice.. once I stopped in to get some cantucci, was eyeing the schiacciata and the owners, not even knowing me, noticed and cut little slice to try. It's the little things that count! Do stop in for great bakery products and warm service

Stopped by this cute little shop on the way to dinner as the pastries looked amazing. Owner was super friendly and not only let us sample, but also gave our daughter a free mini pizza. She of course immediately dropped it and he gave her another free. The cookies were delicious, amazed there haven't been any reviews so far!
