Can't recommend this restaurant, as it seems to be designed just to rip off money from tourists who look for a quick meal after they arrive in Bari Centrale.
We were offered a wiggly table even tho there was much more to choose from, we've waited for two pastas for over 30 minutes, and when it finally arrived- we've been so disappointed to be served an overcooked pasta with a precooked sauce which never even stood anywhere near an authentic local food.
Carbonara was super creamy and saucy, and amatriciana tasted like store-bought "mascarpone sauce" mixed up with some bacon (because it's hardly recognisable as pancetta or guanciale) and fried up on a pan.
I see this place get a good reviews for their seafood, but we did not have an, so my rating is based on what I saw personally.
Shame, as this was a big disappointment.

Food, service and atmosphere we're excellent.

Highly recommend the tagliata, octopus cooked twice, orrechiette and tiramisu.

3min walk from Bari Centrale train station, a surprisingly good find for seafood, reservations highly recommended, although 1 or 2 pax can always try your luck. English / Chinese menu available via QR code.

We walked in around 1.30pm on May Day, managed to snag a table for 2 right next to entrance (place was packed).

We had the Seafood Stew (Squid, Tuna, +1 more fish ~ outstanding), Twice Cooked Octopus (Grilled Octopus) and Fried Squid in Foil (Deep Fried Squid) were good, although i would skip the fried squid for 2 pax seating (as portion is large). The tuna we had in the stew was still fork tender and juicy, one of the better versions we have in stew format.

Service was efficient, and there was staff ok with English. 2 toilets available, male / female.

Nice ambience but very pushy service. Waiter was coming up to us every minute to take the order and was rolling his eyes finding out we did not make our choice yet. Appetizers were promising, but second course was very average unfortunately- my pasta was so peppery, that I could hardly taste the other ingredients besides pasta and pepper. I don’t think I would like to try this place again.

Quality fresh pasta and lovely customer service. My family bought some fresh tagliatelle, ravioli, chicken dish, eggplant dish and baked vegetables. He was able to recommend the pasta to accompany our home-made sauce and even more. Absolutely recommended!

Storico negozio di pasta fresca e prodotti freschi da asporto nel mercato di via Ferrara....quartiere Vasto. Buoni e freschi tutti i preparati. Ottima la frittura all italiana. Buona la parmigiana di melanzane ed il polpettettone al sugo. Speciale menzione per i tortellini freschi con ricotta e spinaci. Il tutto servito con grande cortesia. Ottima pulizia del negozio. In tutto aggiungete ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Buenísimos los canelones de carne, ricotta y mozzarella. Nos queda probar los ravioles caprese que tienen muy buena pinta. Les dejo una foto, dale un me gusta si te sirvió 😁👍🏻

Fabulous meal. Great choice of fish and pasta and reasonably priced. Was nice not to walk into the old centro for a change. Service excellent. More polished and slightly more expensive than some other restaurants we visited but well worth it and still super cheap vs. value for money!

Piccolo negozio di pasta fresca . All'apparenza non sembra ma la pasta che realizza é eccezionale. Sono anni che compro da loro gli gnocchi freschi, cannolini e ravioli capresi. Non sono mai rimasto deluso.

Fantastico

Antichi sapori della cucina tradizionale napoletana realizzati con ingredienti di qualità, freschi e semplici. Gli gnocchi sono fra i migliori della città. Consigliato a chi ama la pasta fresca e il personale ancora gentile ed educato.

Grazie a tutto lo staff della casereccia. Ho fatto un figurone con i miei ospiti che hanno apprezzato i cannelloni classici e quelli bianchi con i funghi. Anche gli involtini di melanzane, il casatiello e la frittura sono stati molto apprezzati.

Questa Attività è aperta da più di venti anni. Prepara buoni piatti da asporto. Dai cannelloni ai primi tutti con particolare riguardo ai fritti. La domenica molto affollato. Prodotti di qualità preparati molto bene. Disponibilità e cortesia massima del personale tutto. Giudizio molto positivo.
