Cool spot to reflect on the history of Venice.
Pretty place and fun to visit, you have a lot of nice restaurants, bars, etc. Can be a bit expensive.
I have an amazing story about this place. My wife and I, visiting from the US, sat in the courtyard here to reorganize some things after we stopped at a shop a few doors down. Somehow, I managed to leave my cell phone on the ground. We walked away, and about 10-15 minutes later, we realized that it was missing. I realized where I must have left it and ran back. When I got to the door, a man (who must have seen the panic on my face) greeted me and said "telephone"? Because I have my email on my lock screen, when I told him my name, he instantly recognized that it was my phone and handed it to me. The relief and gratitude I felt was overwhelming. This courtyard is part of the University of Genoa. Apparently, a man had been sitting there while my wife and I were there. He noticed that I left the phone. So he brought it to the people in charge and they were the ones who returned it to me. A beautiful place with beautiful people to match!
Came here for Venice Biennale 2024. Love how vast and high the ceilings are, which makes it an ideal space for art exhibition.
Beautiful historical place that tells a little bit about the naval history of the fleet of Venice.
Definitely worth making a walk to this history location, nice buildings and art works near the water.

It's a private building you have to ask at the door to let you in
Lazise and its castle are a pitoresc feature of Lake of Riva in Italy. It's a surprising place and considered on of the oldest communities of the Country.

Both the beauty and scale of the Venetian Arsenal is amazing. The bridge between the two towers with the canal below is iconic Venice. Wonderful place to visit in the early morning before many people are out. I visited just before sunrise.
A cool place just to wander around and explore. Still an active military base so access is a bit restricted. If you’re wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of crowded laneways, this is a nice way to do it and also get some of the breeze. There’s a free boat that takes you across the water which makes things easier, and lots of cats in the surrounding area.
I guess the staircase of this palace is on par with the one in Vatican museums, one of the most beatiful in the world.

Bello da visitare
Small little church behind the main San Nicola Basilica. Was closed when I visited but beautiful on the outside
We didn’t visit the exhibition, but it was worth wandering around this historical shipyard that used to be the heart of maritime warfare. It used to build one ship a day during the peak era of Venice’s naval powers!

very beautiful place, calm, quiet, along the canal you can meet artists who paint the surrounding area. two nice cafes right on the corner of the bridge. as always, a historical and incredibly memorable place.
Ingresso gratuito. Ve la consiglio.

Fabulous
5 star table service, air conditioned, wifi available, tasty pasta. Prices of one dish range from 7-13 EUR
Highly recommend paying a little extra to get the special tour of the dock, it’s beautiful!
Visited here on the boat we rented out from peschiera, took us about 30mins to get here, first time boating so don't know if that's slow or what, took a while to moor in the harbour but eventually got it tied up somehow, first timers, had a walk around town which is pretty cool and had some lunch by the lake, worth a visit if in boat, we only had the hire for 4 hours so by the time we got back we just returned to peschiera
Small, beautiful church well hidden in the old town.
Imponente
A spectacular example of beautiful architecture in Naples ! Unmissable if you like the Art Deco
Bella chiesa, purtroppo l’abbiamo trovata chiusa.

Meraviglioso
Non visitabile
Malý kostel v historickém centru Bari. Je hodně zastrčený, takže je celkem problém jej najít. Kostel zřejmě není možné navštívit.
Big scam!!! Don’t buy there. Super expensive and terrible drinks
One of the most beautiful ‘Liberty’ style buildings of Naples.
Please note: to visit the staircase the access is allowed only at specific times of the day
IT looks very nice from the outside. I had no chance to visit it and I am not sure if that is even possible because I have not found entrance with tickets. I have seen 1 main gate but it was closed. However eveything around was quite nice and it is definately worth to see and walk around. All the old Castle walls around the city are in very good shape and they create nice feeling that you are still in the middle ages with direct access to the Lake.
A good place to visit with quaint shops and restaurants housed withing extensive walls, next to Lake Garda.

There's a car park just outside, which is convenient.
Bellissimi i rifacimenti visibili al piano terra.
Well worth a visit if you're passing by. The centre is full of restaurants, gelato bars and shops. This is surrounded by the castle walls.

Really interesting and worth a look.
What a beautiful underrated place to visit. The castle itself is beautiful but it's right next to the beautiful lake Garda. A must-see in Italy. There are some shops and restaurants nearby.

Palazzo del fine 400 ristrutturato in diverse epoche mantenendo ancora alcune parti originarie
Why would you review Churches?
Great place to visit. The staff were lovely as well!
Eccellente
Nice palace and university together, I like this idea
One of my favourite places when I visited Palermo. It’s like a hidden gem in a city jungle. The environment is clean and surrounded by green plants. The buildings were constructed in the late 12 century, but very well reserved. I’d say it’s much better than the Zisa.
Of course, I came here for the history of the Order of Teutonic Knights. La Magione was the Order’s headquarters from 1197-1492. The church is free of entrance. If you pay three euros, you can also visit the courtyard and the small museum. The gallery in the courtyard is very elegant! It has the same style with the iconic gallery in San Giovanni Convento which was built in Norman era. In summer, the courtyard is full of flowers.
You can find many traces left by the Order, such as the faded frescoes on the wall along the gallery, the Teutonic cross above a small side door beside the alter in the church, and the alter itself. The large stone Teutonic cross above a knight effigy on the left side of the church entrance is interesting too, you can see how different the cross was from the well-known black Teutonic cross in later periods.
Don’t forget to visit the Magione Park behind the church. It’s a large green open area, which once was a part of the Magione. You can see the relics there.
Panorama mozzafiato
Excellent monument of medieval culture and architecture. Emperor Frederick II of Holy Roman Empire granted that church to Tectonic Knights in XIII century. You have to buy a ticket to get in. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light.
Sono all'avoro qui
interesting architecture
