The venue was pretty and well decorated. It felt welcoming and peaceful. I didn't like the low seats as I could fit my legs under the table, so it was a bit uncomfortable.

queued a long time, and waited a long time to receive my order as well. the pancake was extremely dense, it would’ve been better as a fluffy pancake. the toppings on top was mostly whipped cream. there was butter underneath the toppings but it was still hard and cold, instead of being melted and soaking into the pancake to add flavour.
Delicious. Omg the peach soufflé pancakes were amazing!! Highly recommend. Can’t wait to try a new flavour next time.
Sadly the worst beef I had in Japan. The steak is too tough. Rare at first but after letting it cook for a while, it became too tough. Is it my skill issue? Maybe. Come here for the desserts maybe, as recommended by other reviewers. The coffee just tastes like water unfortunately.
Came back for another visit to Espresso D Works and like always, it did not disappoint. The omelet plate was delicious, and the grapefruit juice was refreshing. The salad plate was also good and the option my wife went with to be healthier. I would come more often if I was not trying to keep my sweets intake at a minimum. Definitely come here and enjoy the pancakes in a nice shop with a nice ambiance.
This place was delightful. We made it our daily morning starting place and were always met with the best customer service I've ever witnessed in any of my travels thus far. The food is incredible and you can tell how passionate they are about their craft, as evident of the taste. Not to mention a soothing atmosphere great for any morning/ early evening.
We happened to stop by here and had the best pancakes of our lives. The service was very courteous. The café is beautifully decorated and the toilet is behind a wall of books. The food of the other guests also looked fantastic. A little insider tip for breakfast or brunch. The pancakes were so fluffy and the cream was perfect with the maple syrup. A real treat in terms of taste. An absolute recommendation!
Randomly walked in near closing to try the fluffy pancakes. My expectations were low, and I was expecting the pancakes to be an unnecessarily hyped instagram dish.
I was so wrong, the fluffy pancakes were 10/10. Unexpectedly delicious is how I would describe it. Super well balanced with deep flavors. It even came with fresh fruit and delicious ice cream. I think the best part is I didn't have to wait in some massive line for it.

Food is good, service is great. I recommend the beef and chicken combo, the beef omelete, and as desert the chocolate pancale
They put us at some table basically outside the restaurant that clearly looked like it had been added later as extra seating, and the cheesecake wasn't very good.
For my personal taste, it is good but too pricey.
Food looks good but the taste is just alright. Not mind blowing. I got the locomoco and my husband ordered the garlic chicken and steak lunch set. I would recommend staying away from the beef as it is not the best quality and can be a little chewy. It’s a kids friendly place though. Baby chairs available and spacious enough for you to park your stroller. Would come here for convenience and decent coffee but not for the food.
Yummy food, great price with great music and atmosphere. Very friendly staff who accommodated our dietary needs :) would defo come back
Service wasn’t great. Don’t get me wrong the waiters were really nice but the timing of the food being served was terrible. They brought one of the dishes right away but then it took about 8 min for the next dish to arrive. The last persons meal arrived 30 min after ordering and well after every one else in our group already finished their meal.
Food tasted great although in my opinion the portion was bit small.
DO NOT recommend if you are waiting for bus food can take up to 30 min to be served.

5 star restaurant in my opinion. Great food. Attentive, helpful, and polite staff. Seeing my meal get crafted right next to me in the kitchen then getting to eat the delicious Happy Pancake. My waiter was wonderful! She recommended to me the pancake with berry sauce and I got a scoop of ice cream with. It was perfect for the morning before my flight back home!

Very cute cafe. We were drawn in by the pancake photos online. Although to my tastes they’re a bit too egg flavored to be my favorite but they’re still very good. The food I will rate 3/5 but the coffee and cafe I’ll rating a 5/5. It’s a great cafe. I will definitely be back.
This place has the most fluffy, amazing pancakes. Got up extra early to make sure we got a spot in line right when they opened. A half hour before opening there was already a line. Ordered the cherry blossom pancakes. Delicious! Worth the early wake up call. Visited in March.
Super delicious fluffy souffle like pancakes. The original Happy Pancakes have a very light airy texture with an eggy taste complimented by a honey brown sugar syrup. My wife and I shared one but they are so light that we could have easily handled our own.
You go to the shop to sign up for a queue and then you can leave and come back when called. We signed up at 10:30 on a Friday and the queue took about 90 minutes.

The pancakes at A Happy Pancake Ginza 幸せのパンケーキ 銀座店 are delectable, especially the one with cheese sauce.
Ensure to reserve your spot using the QR code and return punctually for your booking. They don't accommodate walk-ins, a system I find preferable to enduring long queues. The only drawback is when people fail to honor their reservations, causing system congestion. A solution could be to accept credit cards and impose charges for no-shows, similar to other establishments.

The food and atmosphere were so enjoyable that we visited the place twice during our stay in Tokyo. This is the perfect oasis to escape the hustle of the city and recharge during a shopping adventure. We enjoyed every single dish from the grated carrots and grilled nuts, perfectly mastered pizzas (approved by my Italian boyfriend) to the delicious grilled vegetables equally loved by meat eaters or vegetarians. A personal favourite was the tea infused cheesecake which was perfectly balanced.
The restaurant has a QR code you can scan and join the queue. We got in the queue half an hour before it opened as they put the sign out already at that time. We waited maybe 15 minutes after opening to sit down. The pancakes were so soft and delicious. I got the strawberry white chocolate pancake, and it had a strawberry cream and white chocolate shavings. However, because of the toppings, it was pretty sweet and a little bit on the heavy side. Still, I really enjoyed it!
Started with a hot mocha drink, which was fantastic and highly recommended. Also had the very berry pancakes. The pancakes themselves were very good and fluffy. The sauce was delicious. Unfortunately some of the berries were a bit sour, and the ice cream seemed to be a simple vanilla instead of berry flavored. The staff was very friendly. Overall this is a great place with a super cool atmosphere. It is only one stop away from Shibuya, so I would highly recommend checking the place out if you are nearby.
Found this place randomly and decided to reserve a table for the next morning. That proved to be a good decision, make sure you book a table and arrive about 5min early!

Dexee Diner places are usually pretty good but this is was okay. I didn’t care too much for the salad but the other food is okay. If you come here you’re probably better off getting dessert they usually don’t go wrong there. I doubt I’ll be going back there.
This place seems to close when they “feel” like it, not honoring their operation hours whatsoever. I have tried to eat at this place twice already and both times they decided to close early for a “special” reason. Since they closed early the first time, I tried to swing by a 2nd time and they said “normally we close at 8pm and last call is at 7pm but today we are closing early” this was at 6pm!!! Also there was 3 big bags of trash we had to hop over in order to get to their entrance. Very classy. That was sarcasm by the way. Never coming back to this place again. Do better, honor your operation hours and stop wasting people’s time. Thanks.

Ordered the Beef & Spare ribs and Loco & Shrimp. Utterly disappointing. The shrimp is rubbery and hard, Hamburg steak is tough and hardly any seasonings, it's effin dry! sauce is lacking and not helping the dried out rice because of the hot pan. Could be generous with the sauce. There are more rice than ingredients. Overall it's bland, bland! The saving grace from this dish was the french fries and the sauce.

First time at this cafe and loved everything. The food, the service, the space, the atmosphere, everything. Highlights were definitely the burrata and the pancakes. Also, tried an interesting drink; houji chai ginger latte. It wasn’t too bad you should give it a try:)

It was okay. The serving was generous, but the staff were not that attentive (probably because it was full house at lunch time), which made ordering a bit difficult. The pizza’s crust was burnt (see photo) and the pancake was a bit dry. The ginger highball was great, though! 🥞
Excellent high quality pancakes. Perfect consistency. Though they come with weird toppings: red bean paste, chedder cheese? But also butter, cream and maple syrup which is all you need. Expensive, most expensive pancakes I've had but worth one trip if you're a pancake enthusiast.
Secluded cafe that specializes in chiffon style pancakes. Excellent place for a small escape from the bustling streets. The lunch set comes with a salad and Bolognese topping. I recommend eating that separately and not pouring it over the pancakes but styles may differ by person!
Nice tucked hidden gem from hustle and bustle that is Ginza. Located upstairs, with cozy and spacious booth and large communal table. Rarity in Tokyo. Pancakes or hot cakes as they call it here ("hoto keiki") are worth the wait. Soft, balanced and flavorful. Definitely much more enjoyable than Gram. Good strong coffee. Service can be slooooow.
Salad was a mess of flavors, got the herb chicken pumpkin & beets salad. Chicken was really undercooked and overly rosemary. Mac & Cheese dish was so comically small and had corn in it. Despite having a melted cheese special they seemed not to put the two and two together. Taco Rice was mediocre at best, just so-so. I was eager to eat something as there was no wait time, but I guess it was a sign.
Simple yet super good tasting pancakes. The butter tasted so good that i think i can eat it by itself. The combination of savory cheese and the sweet pancakes is something surprisingly matching.

It's a little hard to find (3rd floor), but definitely worth the visit. One of the best hot cakes I've had in Japan, particularly compared to the famous ones nearby with a >1hr wait. The atmosphere is relaxing, beautiful decor. And of course the hot cakes are the star here - with simple toppings (esp the butter!!) - which brings out the taste of the amazing hot cakes. Definitely recommend!!
Incredible soft airy pancakes with syrup and cheese. Most of them are made in Hokkaido. There are enough space to have relaxing cozy time on sofa.
