Great atmosphere… one of my fav spots in Kuwait. Kano took good care of us. Food was amazing !
I recently dined at Peacock Restaurant, hoping to enjoy the elegant, classy experience that once made it the best in Kuwait. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food took an unusually long time to arrive, and the tea service was sloppy, with a spill on the table. The chicken dim sum was inedible, and we tried three shrimp dishes, all of which were disappointing.

It seems the restaurant has shifted its focus to handling online delivery orders rather than providing quality service to diners. It’s disheartening to see how Peacock has lost the consistency and reputation it once had. I hope they make improvements to bring back the fine dining experience they were known for.
Place is closed and totally abandoned
I am a guest at the hotel where this restaurant is located and decided to try it for lunch based on its great reputation. The atmosphere was amazing, and the food quality was up to standard. It’s really great and a must-visit. However, I gave 3 stars due to the level of service provided. I ordered my food, and during my stay, I never saw any staff member check on my satisfaction or the food quality. I also waited about 10 minutes to ask for my check. Please maintain the 5-star standards as your objective. Thanks!
So sad that the quality of this restaurant has dropped. The food was bland and lacking too many flavors. However, servers were very helpful and welcoming.
Everything is just so delicious. I still prefer dynamite shrimp from PF changs but the duck and the chicken with lemon is just so good. The service is great!

Amazing experience everyone is lovely and the food is authentic. Very very homely
This was the first restaurant that I'm kind of meh about in Kuwait. Not worth a dedicated trip, or even really stopping by.

It is located INSIDE the Radisson Blu hotel. Makes sense why I never saw it before... I only knew about it via a Google search.

Beautifully decorated, lots of red. It is rather inviting. Inside, it is pretty dim. I came on a slower time and night (after 2200 on a Monday), it seems like... it was fortunately not packed.

Service was immediate, which was great. Staff are super friendly.

The food was okay. Hot and sour was just about perfect... it was hot AND sour with slight subtle sweetness on the tongue, plenty of food in the soup, and very thick. Not a lot though with such a small bowl... but this is the one thing I would come back for. The chicken spring rolls were very crisp but rather flavorless. I really had to lean into the sweet and sour sauce and hot pickled pepper "water" (it was that thin). Even the braised mixed vegetables in oyster was rather lacking... not even the oyster sauce was strong, and oyster sauce is POTENT. Singaporean noodles didn't hold a lot of flavor either... it actually tasted more of egg than anything, and that was because they let me have all the proteins in there: shrimp, chicken, and egg.

It's interesting because most Asian dishes usually scream with flavor, with some exceptions with things like brown sauce, which add a nuanced profile. Aside from the hot and sour soup and the condiments, there was nothing. Pretty disappointing.

They keep playing some stupid happy birthday song... it cheapens the vibe and doesn't feel special at all because you hear it so oftehree tmn. There was ONE table that I saw where they brought a cake over... but having to listen to a prerecorded song singing HBD was just cringy. This apparently is a thing because another fancier sit-down restaurant I was at did the same thing. They should do away with this practice as it ruins the atmosphere. Just sing the song in person/concert and be done with it.

I left full, but it made me think of cheap Americanized-Asian food. Was rather disappointed.

I will give this place another shot, maybe... but mostly for the soup, and more hope for something like the duck. But looking at other reviews, I am not going to hold my breath.
🍽️Food: 3/5
🤵🏽‍♂️Service: 3/5
🪑Ambiance: 4/5

📝Notes: The food was average. I liked the hot and sour soup. But I wouldn’t personally come back. The service was during Iftar hours and the service was also slow. I hope that the restaurant picks things up and this restaurant is very well know historically.
So delicious restaurant and food so fresh its cook when u order and staff so lovely really i will come again
Pretty average food. Dim sum is not bad, spring roll is average, Peking duck is slightly below average, Mongolian beef is not bad, fried rice is good. Atmosphere is a bit dark and old, with no background music. Service and staff were great.

Something different for Kuwait scene. But not really for people who do not smoke. Most people who come here are the young ones. The food is just alright and the services are just ok.
Is not tasty at all 😕
And please don't forget the cutlry

A nice place to hang out with friends and family. Ambiance is nice as well with soft lightning and music.
Require to improve on their menu and shisha quality.
Overall a good experience with still some room for improvement.

Very very bad experience. I've ordered adobong pusit and holy cow it was delivered as covered in foil and placed in styro. The sauce is spilling all over. The bulalo is is 1 star only. Not good value for money will not order again.
Nice filipino food. The restuarant is open everyday from 10 am 1 am and they have economy buffet on every friday 10 am to 9 pm. They are also offering delivery , pick up and catering service. The crispy fried chicken is so yummy. Order no. 99554362

One of the great filipino restaurant is also the DBEST restaurant, located in Salem Al Mubarak St, nearby old 7Eleven store. The beef pares mami taste so 100% good and not a pricey restaurant which is also an impact from the customers.
Very bad attitude and service
The waiter offered us a table after clarifying the preference of a side table near to the window and give 2 alternatives and choose one and set on it another waiter came to kick us away of the table claiming that it’s reserved (even another 2 table same side was available)and want to move us to a middle side table whatcha is not suitable for us
So we decided to leave the place with a smile from the staff😡😡
The good stuff:
Opens 24/7
Good food and hookah
Reasonable pricing
Great staff, very good service
They say Jamaican style and they somewhat deliver on that
The not so good stuff:
Parking can be an issue especially on a weekend
They really need to do something about air circulation and ventilation (if you have respiratory problems, don't go).

The place is hip and is generally for younger customers (over 18 only). Smoking allowed in all places, so it's not a place to take the kids.
Wheelchair accessible.

Good food and drinks, in a nice atmosphere. Nevertheless, the staff took ages to bring our order, and not every main course at the same time. So, half of us had finished eating when the rest have not even being served.

Good lounge type place where mostly young crowd hangout. I am sure this gets really busy on weekends. First time I felt US lounge type feel in Kuwait. Good shisha and juices. Plenty of cool air blowing outside to seat comfortably outside in summer.

The ambience at the room lounge is very cozy and the sheesha is pretty good. Slightly on the expensive end but worth the money. Also their pop corn beef is something i really enjoyed

Nice outdoor area and good seating arrangements
small uncomfortable seatings, rude staff, noisy music, and no smoking is allowed other than their mediocre sheesha!

won't set foot at this place again!
