Wonderful local experience. Just mind the parking and time of day for visit. Try a late afternoon to also enjoy the evening vibes. Good place to buy souvenirs and get the authentic old shopping Kuwaiti experience.
This popular traditional market is located in Kuwait City, between Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Abdullah Al-Salem & Palestine Streets. This market has been around for at least 200 years. The market was damaged in 1990; however, it was renovated and it got back its traditional flavor. You can spend hours in this market strolling around and discovering reasonable bargains on heritage goods such as Persian silk carpets, real Arab antiques, perfumes like musk and oud, and traditional costumes. This place is perfect whether you want to shop, eat, or for sightseeing

Souk Al Mubarakiya is a ~300 year old market in central Kuwait city. It's actually several markets that merged into one. The fish market, the vegetable market, gold market, and the perfume market are the most famous markets in Al Mubarakiya. It's also the host for the first school in Kuwait, the Mubarakiya School, opened in 1911, and the Mubarak Kiosk. The market, school, and kiosk were named after the founder of modern Kuwait and the 7th Emir of Kuwait Mubarak Al Sabah.
This market is one of the oldest markets in kuwait. It gets crowded mostly in winter. You can find a lot of stores that sells traditional things. Like gold stores, restaurants, cafes, fish market, meat markets, vegetable stores, and a lot of other stores. You can find almost everything here or around this place. The store owners are kind and respectful. The other nice thing about this market is the atmosphere. You can come shopping with your family and friends, and while shopping there are plenty of places for the kids to get entertained. You also can find stores that sells wholesale products but you should look for them. It was an amazing experience we’ve enjoyed it.

When we complained the manager he just shewed us off and didn't take us seriously. Afterwards, the waiter brought us a box of chips as an apology.

We were here during week so it was mostly empty. Such a great experience for ua and our baby. Animals are doing great and are all healthy. Lots of places to grab a bite.
Food was a big disappointment. Chicken , fish , meat everything was hard n dry. It was a waste of our evening. Salads were good, desserts were okay.

Overall good experience. I purchased group ticket. Include movie 25min and Aquarium for around 8KD.
Aquarium: Was put together nicely. The marine life was active and exciting to watch. Would give more stars. But the experience is short. Would take no more than 45min, hour max to fully enjoy.
Movie: Highly recommend getting a seat in section A of the IMAX theater. The screen is massive.

It is nice but not fully accurate as per the title. Still required a lot of modifications, The Aquarium Area is well-managed.
Nice place for walk around and do some activities. Beautiful fountains, view and shop mall next to.
I especially loved the Aquarium. The Discovery section I found to be more suitable for children
Wow .. pleasantly surprised. Went to lunch 6 August 23. The buffet is way better than expected. Everything was cooked perfectly. Chicken and lamb were great and the humas had alot of flavor. Best buffet I've ever been to in Kuwait. Fresh and flavorful. The chefs and team have alot of pride in what they're doing and it shows in their food!!!
It is deeply integrated into the hotel so you have to pass by everyone’s rooms and all. Otherwise good food and great service.

Good and highly organized place for kids & adults, but it’s limited area ! Need more activity in my opinion ..!
Definitely come here during the night than daytime. It has more lights and crowds and it looks much prettier. It will take you quite a while to walk through the busy markets and streets but definitely worth it. Traffic is bad so park somewhere close by and walk or take a taxi or public transit.

It's nice place for hangout.There are so many restaurants,Shops for shopping & it's an Old heritage market situated in Kuwait City.Paid parking available.There are play areas for kids Infront of the market.
Food is not really recommended.We are disappointed for all of the food not even 1 food taste like we expect for International buffet. I celebrated my birthday with my company and i was though that experience is beyond expectation. But we really felt sad for 14kd per head. Service is absolutely number 1. I swear this is are first and last visit 😫😫😫

It's a fun experience with a lot of Filipino Vibe resto and food courts. We went to floor 6 and it's whole a lot of fun and dining. We had our best time singing karaoke if you love to level up the fun.

We saw lots of unusual and awesome animals and sea creatures and the discovery place was so fun with the different stations... I particularly liked the one that timed how long you could balance for.

Genuinely a lovely place for the kids to visit and I'm happy it's still well maintained over the years, needs a bit of an overhaul but the aquarium is very nice and the staff are lovely.

The view of the restaurant is spectacular, its just beside the arabian gulf and has a great ambience. Well regarding the food there is a catch, they used to call it a international buffet but its actually not. The menu changes everyday randomly. For example, we went to there knowing from the reservation staff that its international buffet but it was actually Arabian food dominant buffet instead. There was no Chinese, thai or proper indian item at all. Food quality just good specially when you compare it a five star restaurant. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I gave the rating based on staff attitude and spectacular sea view not on variety of food item choice, If you are a Arabian dish lover then its a must go place for you otherwise i will not suggest this place.
