A blessed statue of the Virgin Mary at the entrance of Jezzine. A must visit. Amazing view from there

The idea came from the parish priest at that time, Bishop Emile Eid. The statue of the Virgin Mary was unveiled on May 8, 1955. It was made of bronze by sculptor Youssef Ghossoub, with a weight of 1200 kg and a height of 270 centimeters. The second Sunday of May was dedicated to the annual feast of Our Lady of Mabour. The building was restored and inaugurated on May 15, 2000.

You can't visit Jezzine without passing by Saydet el maabour specially if you are christian. The view is really amazing from here.
