An incredible beautiful Mosque, with a calming and meditation-inducing atmosphere. Full of history and mystique, is definitely worth a visit.
We took part in the guided tour which was very well conducted by one of the local guides, however, the tour could be more intriguing by also showing the Medrasa.
Very nice mosque and a must-do if visiting Casablanca. Make sure to check out the allowed times to visit. Tickets were 140 MAD per adult (prices of August 2024). They accept credit cards.

This is a MUST SEE! The guided tour by specific languages was excellent! He was funny, but also quite knowledgeable and willing to answer many questions. Be sure to get tickets in time, entrance is limited to guided tours only.

The most magnificent mosque I have ever visited, the tour guide in English did a great job. He even showed us the ablution room and explained the pillars of Islam in detail. The museum entry felt a bit useless, but they accept card. Tickets are 140 MAD each, entry for non-Muslims was recommended after 3PM as the mosque is closed during prayer.
I would have seen hundreds of mosques in my life but this rates as one of the most magnificent ever.. it’s easily the most aesthetically done mosque and place of worship built in modern area.. its location next to North Atlantic Ocean adds an element of serenity to it.. The low profile of interiors despite being intricate adds the perfect balance to its spirituality ..
this is undoubtedly the epitome of modern era aesthetic architecture

What a beautiful mosque! It's magnificent inside and out. We were able to catch the call for prayer during Asr time. However , I was a little surprised the call for prayer was not heard in the city which is surprising for a Muslim city.
We managed to park on the street and walked for 5 minutes to enter the mosque.

Iconic, must-visit landmark of Casablanca. You can buy tickets at the Hassan II Mosque Museum, located directly south-east of the mosque. The ticket includes a guided group tour of the mosque which is required for entering the premises. The tour is available in a multitude of languages. Officially, you need to wear pants to be allowed entry, although many in my tour either hadn't heard this or didn't care to respect it and were still allowed in. The mosque itself is magnificent and well worth the price of the ticket.

Such a beautiful mosque that is so proudly Moroccan in its architecture. The attention to details and the materials brought in from all over Morocco is simply incredible. The amount of resources and time spent to build this mosque is a definite testament to Moroccan’s devotion. Definitely a highlight of Casablanca.

Ticket cost 130 MAD for tourist, 140MAD if you would like to visit the museum too. You can buy the ticket over the counter, but do come earlier as the there are language-specific tour organised by guides within the mosque. Look out for the language tour you would like to join - there are signs marked inside the room! The tour is available at each hour (except during the 5 daily prayers time), starting on the dot. Pro-tip: I wasn’t aware of the guided tour and missed it, but waited for the next tour, this gives me time to take more pictures as the guide may only give you 5 minutes to take pictures inside.

As the mosque is facing the Atlantic Ocean, it gets very windy and chilly so dress warmly!

Impressive and large mosque. The scale on the exterior can be overwhelming. Absolutely worth seeing. You could easily spend an hour or more. Tours are available in different languages. There is a tour in English at 12 noon.

Beautiful mosque which is built on water and on land. The queue to they the tickets was not long. And then we were transported by golf car near the mosque doors and then we were asked to come in and place our footwear in a bag provided. We had English tour guide who took us around and explained every bit very well. It was fascinating to learn about the mosque. Well organized place the only thing I would recommend is to get sustainable bags for the footwear so you dnt add to the landfill.

The mosque is huge and sumptuous but I wasn’t impressed. Those mosques in Istanbul are more beautiful for me. I also think that there is no need to come inside, if you visit a mosque before.
BTW, I was so cold there as the excursion lasted for an hour and we were barefoot. If they spent so much money for building they could at least made floor heating as well.

Really beautiful mosque right by the sea. Saw someone bathing directly in the ocean next to the mosque too.

Apparently world's 3rd largest mosque. Muslims get in for free to pray, but you have to pay as a tourist to get a guide and take pictures. I didn't think our guide was really good. It felt like he wanted to get it over with and we didn't get to go up the minaret like what the tour describes. You must also go in with the tour at set times (check the website).

The mosque itself is very beautiful. It was also nice watching the prayers happening from outside.

There's also a nice little museum right next to it, although everything is in Arabic.

Absolutely stunning inside and out and a must see in Casablanca.

Huge facility, stunning views with the ocean air.

No entry fees needed unless you need a guided tour in a particular language (see mosque website). Very easy to get to and can walk to the site from the city center

Visited Casablanca Mosque and had an amazing experience with a private guided tour booked through the Get Your Guide app. The guide was knowledgeable, providing insightful information about the mosque's history and architecture. The personalised attention enhanced the overall visit, making it a memorable and enriching experience. Highly recommend this guided tour to truly appreciate the beauty of the Casablanca Mosque.

Seen some guided tours were too fast and too many people.

Must see place in Casablanca. Huge, beautiful mosque by the sea. It creates nice silhouettes of the coastal line of the city. Has a huge courtyard. Detailed architecture and Morocco's finest craftsmanships. Interior very impressive. You can get inside unless it's time for Muslims to worship and pray to god. Even if they don't let you get in because of the praying time, just wait for it to be finished and you can get in. The people working there might not speak English. I think they are letting tourists in at the beginning of the each hour of the day.

There is also a museum of mosque including parts that were originally meant for the mosque.

Majestueuse mosquée trônant en bordure de mer. Grande esplanade accessible. Bien se renseigner sur les heures de visite avant de s'y rendre. Bibliothèque attenante à visiter.

Will leave you breathless! Excellent setting by the ocean and can take a guided tour in all popular languages for the same price as the entrance fee. No additional cost. Best was pictures were allowed which is progressive as if something like this is built why keep it secret. Ticketing very efficient. Noted closed from noon to 3 pm each day so plan accordingly.

Yet another astoundingly beautiful mosque. Such amazing architecture, such intricate details. Only if the place was allowed to be open all day. The security kept chasing out visitors at 5pm on a Saturday. Love the walk by the corniche outside as well. A beautiful spot to spend some hours of your day or night when you visit Casablanca

Super expérience. MAGNIFIQUE.

Such a breathtaking mosque from both the inside and out. Tickets weren’t expensive either and my family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We also got to pray at the front of the mosque thanks to the security guard who let us in before the guided groups got in. Would highly recommend visiting this place when in Casablanca. It took us about 45 minutes to complete both the mosque and the museum.

NOTE: It is not required to buy tickets in advance as majority of people were purchasing tickets at the site.
