Our experience with David from Sailing Charters Malta was top-notch and I would definitely charter again. David was extremely kind and professional and was able to get us a last-minute reservation. The entire process was seamless and the captain was great. Not to mention the 46ft beauty (pictured below) was in mint condition. Highly recommend Sailing Charters Malta - book with them immediately!

We had a full day trip for four people on the Lilly G. We organised directly through David who was professional and very friendly. We arrived and the boat was easy to find and David welcomed us warmly - we felt very looked after! We had the best day on the boat, our skipper Paul was absolutely exceptional and so friendly, he took us to some lovely swimming spots, and helped us with the paddle boards. He cooked us a lovely dinner of swordfish on the bbq and was always happy to tell us about the history and culture as we went up the coast. We felt so relaxed and in good hands, I couldn’t recommend Paul and Sailing Charters Malta enough - we’ll definitely be asking for him again next time we come!

Guillerme is the best skipper!!

We took a Beneteau 50ft sailing boat with 11 friends. He took us to some great locations and recommended us the safest places as the day was a bit windy and wavy.

He is a very experienced skipper, very easy going and we felt very safe in his hands.

We had some trouble with the anchor at the end of the trip getting tangled on some thick wires on the seabed and he was able to free dive 10 metres to liberate the anchor so we could return home. Very impressive.

Thanks Guillerme for the great experience! I learnt a lot from you!

Habe Anfang Juni eine sehr schöne Bootsfahrt nach Comino mit Seahorse Cruises gemacht. Das Boot war sehr sauber und geräumig. Ich fand dir Fahr sehr gut organisiert. Die Zeit wurde immer eingehalten.

This was the first time we travelled with Britannia Tours. It was everything well organized, with a program to know what is going to happen. Our tour leader was Mr. Charles Bugeja and we have no words how we can thank him. He was calm, funny, devoted and where ever he is he will fill that room with light and laughter. He will go out of his way to help you, no matter the time that it is, if a problem occur during lunch time he will stop eating and before he resolve the problem and the customer is satisfied he will not return to his post. He did all the program that was planned and I am still impressed with the energy he has and how he managed to transform this amazing energy to others. As I am writing this review I cannot not notice the tears in my eyes, because in you Charles we found a friend, thanks Charles for making our holiday a one to remember, thank you for your help, thank you for your time to explain to us the program, thank you for your laughs, and thank you for exceeding our expectations and making this holiday the best one yet. We had an amazing 2.5 hour tour with fun stories, relevant events and entertaining tidbits of information! We wish all our tours had been booked through Best Tours but this was a perfect close to our week.

Chris from Best tours Malta is an amazing tour guide. We purchased 2 tours, in Mdina and Valletta and in both of them Chris demonstrated a wealth of knowledge and he was very informative. We booked the „Full day Comino(Blue Lagoon, Santa Maria Bay), Caves“ and it was a blast! To be honest, we had the most beautiful boat of all boats cruising to blue lagoon. It was a pretty small group of people compared to all the other boats and we enjoyed a great atmosphere. The captain and the whole crew were very nice and welcoming. We stopped at all the important and wonderful places, but with the advantage of having the best spots! Our captain made sure that we settled at the most quiet place with the most clear water at blue lagoon. We would really recommend staying near the boat to have swim and ditch the overfilled blue lagoon spots!! We took several nice swims while using the boats ladder. Cold drinks and food were available at the boat. Recommend that boat trip to everyone who wants a trip to blue lagoon that feels exclusive!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden gewesen, wir haben die Karten bei einer sehr netten, deutsch-sprechenden Mitarbeiterin gekauft und sind auch gleich die Rote Tour an diesem Tag gefahren. Eigentlich wollten wir noch die Blaue Tour und die Hafen Rundfahrt machen. Leider bin ich krank geworden und mein Mann ist dann zur Mitarbeiterin hin und sie hat ihm das Restgeld wieder zurück erstattet.

We had the pleasure of Chris’s company for both our tours - the walking tour of Valletta and the tour of Mdina & Rabat - and we feel very privileged to have had such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide (with a great sense of humour too!). We always like to do a tour on our first day so that we have an overview and can orientate ourselves - the Valletta tour was perfect. For Mdina/Rabat we went early and visited the catacombs and had a nice lunch before joining Chris for the tour. Beautiful place and such a pleasure to learn all about it with a true local.

Rip off! Paid 20 euros for a slow ride around the island and saw absolutely nothing. The only highlight was getting off at Mdena to the see the old town but than had to wAit for an hour next to a bunch of stinky horses in the heat for the bus to come back. Seriously the local bus is 1/10 of the price and comes more often. Poor communication as to what tout we were on. I had to beg for a map. They loaded the bus with too many tourists. Never again.

Perfect sunny day for such a leasure cruise. Very well timing. Exactly time to enjoy swimming without getting tired from the sun. Advantage is that the size of the boat is perfect to pass from places, where the bigger optional catamarans could not. Friendly price and the captan and crew very nice!

We were a group of 17 including children and adults. Very helpful people. The children had so much fun!! Very nice ride :)

Amazing! It's a must do in Malta especially if you are in Valletta for few days. You can get a package deal 24 / 48 hours or more. Must do to see it all in Malta. Hop on Hop off is much convenient than driving a rental

Cons: The trip starts very late 10am, when arrived to blue lagoon, tourists were on eack m2. Also, i was waiting for some more information frkm the captain, a little more involving, story. We chose the language while booking online, but dont know the reason, i thought we will receive some info and tips about blue lagoon/Gozo. I would appreciate more time on Comino and more time on Gozo. We were in a hurry. Also my personal disappointment was no pineapple coctails on board despite it was written, they run out of pineapples. So, i should have been bought one on Comino, but on our home trip we did not go through comino =( p.s. i would recomment prohobit smoking on board, because the smoking area is in the front part, all the smokes goes inside the boat and we smell it. Pros: good views, great music, swim stops, cave stops, small comfortable boat with drinks on board.

Really can't fault the boat, people and service here. Regarding the trip, there are up and downsides. A smaller boat means there's quicker boarding and disembarking, but it also means it takes a little longer to get to the islands. Being in a smaller boat means you can actually get into the caves at Comino, and you can dock at St. Paul's Island to visit the monument on foot, or swim in the bay, at the end of your journey.
Although advertised, there didn't appear to be snacks to purchase onboard, but you can still buy drinks aboard. Due to the commercialisation of the Blue Lagoon, however, you can always buy food from one of the many vendors there.
We had the 3 island trip, which meant just 90 minutes at the Blue Lagoon. As it gets so busy, that's probably enough to have a swim in it, but not enough time to find a quieter spot. Go for the 2 island trip if you want tranquility.
The 3 island trip gets you over to Gozo. We had a couple of hours there, which really wasn't enough. That's the fault of Gozo, with having so much to see though. We were then picked up by minibus and taken back to the dock, where we then visited the Comino caves and St. Paul's. A full day, all in all.
In short, Mermaid was ideal for a bit of everything.

Terrible, strongly recommend the other bus service run by Greyline. We bought 48 hr tickets. Went to a main stop to board Red line this morning (Sliema Ferries). Bus never showed up. Asked a kiosk guy selling bus tickets, said he got a text saying red line not running today - no notice put up at stop. We took blue line first day and were going to a site on red line today. We have lost €25 each, receiving no bus service today, had to take taxi. Buses overcrowded, not enough. Frustrated staff and clients swearing at each other on1st day (blue line), audio not working on 2 friends seats. Really awful.

My experience with the hop-on-hop-off bus was disappointing due to its complete lack of schedule adherence. My friend and I ended up waiting for over an hour till next bus, because drivers are not waiting till departure times, we were at stop 7 min before, and also next bus started about 7-8 min earlier.
UPDATE: Turns out, they have 2 books with different time for same bus stops, so be aware and ask for new book. For example Old book has Golden bay stop at 16:00, but new one 15:55

Chris was amazing. He is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. He kept everyone engaged and introduced us to locals in Mdina. We felt comfortable and learned a lot. I highly recommend taking a tour with him.

We went with Mermaid Cruises because it doesn't hold alot of people on it, like most of the other boats, which is simply what we like.

There is very good options to go to either Gozo or Comino to the Blue Lagoon, plus to St Paul's Island and the caves. What we did was go to Comino to the Blue Lagoon very beautiful clear water, extremely busy place though. Still plenty of room to swim about and enjoy your time there, I will say be careful when walking about there as it can be a bit tricky, almost decked it a few times.
Mermaid Cruises give you plenty of time there to do whatever you want. They took us through the caves to see them then took us to St Paul's and let us have a swim about there to finish of the day.

The boat itself is beautiful, has comfortable seats, plenty leg room to relax and enjoy the scenery on the way there and back. Friendly and welcoming staff that were fantastic throughout the whole trip experience, were very helpful. Great atmosphere a little bit of Bob Marley on the way there to start the morning and a little bit of dance tunes on the way back. Peaceful.
Highly recommend booking with Mermaid Cruises it was worth the money.

The day started off with us leaving the bay at St.Pauls by at 10am. It took about 50 min to get to the blue lagoon. This boat parks where all the other day cruise boats are, which is near the busy food and swimming area. There was no where nearby to swim due to the crowds. We stayed at blue lagoon for 1 and a half hours. Then of to GOZO. Stopped at gozo for 2 hrs. The boat then picked us up and took us to a lovely swimming spot at St.pauls Island - which I can say was the best part of the trip due to being the only bost there. We got back to the dock around 5pm.
The boat has drinks to purchase. Be sure to take your towels and swimming stuff, including snorkelling equipment.

Loved: reasonable price, friendly crew, not being packed like cattle onto a large boat, clear itineraries. And THE CAVES. Those were the best. This alone was worth it.

Didn't love: felt that I could have used more time on Gozo, rather than in Comino. An hour and a half is not much to explore a city, even if you do opt for the minibus option (from their website, I was under the impression that the minibus will also provide some sightseeing, but he simply dropped us at the central bus station).

I booked Comino trip via wapp without any problems! They have a very nice boat! ❤️ The price is not (25 euros), food is not included, but they have good prices and you have something to choose from or bring to go! ❤️ I recommend wholeheartedly! I had a wonderful day

As Greek I've been to a lot of cruises. This one was the best in terms of overall service!
The boat itself gives the sense of an authentic experience so much far away from the rest of loud touristic boats, with a lovely atmosphere and nice music.
The crew were very welcoming and kind, on time and prices were very cheap for all drinks on boat.
For food you don't really need anything cause distances are short and there are plenty of options at Comino an Gozo.
We took the option without Gozo since we wanted to explore Comino more and it really worth it. We stayed there 3 and half hours and we really enjoyed it.
Apparently Blue Lagoon is always crowed but if you like walking there are 2 more beaches more quiet to explore.

Nice 45 minutes round in a sort of circle hit I the town etc.good value and my son that has a disability was not charge so many thanks .an easy ride with a few pics . More infow on the net just google is .we used google maps took us right to it...coffee place right next to where it starts and finishers so hay ho.

We had a walking tour with Mary - who was just fantastic! Really knowledgeable with lots of little random facts thrown in during the walk. Compared to other tours we passed, Mary took her time, so we never felt rushed and could take it this beautiful town and it’s history.

Great way to spend a spare 30 minutes and at 6 euro a trip, thought it was very good value. Do not read into these one star reviews (not an employee). Some people are destined to complain over absolutely NOTHING. Yes there are squeaks, yes there are limited information. But it's short & sweet and if you have a bottle of wine beforehand, a game of sweet & sour is a great way to pass the time.

Great island trip visiting the Blue Lagoon on Comino, lunch at Gozo, we saw the caves at Comino Island on the way back and got off at St Paul’s island to see the statue.
Great crew, just the right size boat and very friendly, felt totally safe. The cruise was 10am-5pm. There’s an option to catch a bus on Gozo…€5 to the capital, do it & enjoy! 😎 🥳

Wir haben jeweils eine Tour durch Süden und später durch Norden gemacht. Man muss gleich früh die erste Fahrt (im stündlich. Intervall) nehmen, wenn man unterwegs aussteigen und besichtigen mag, der jeweils letzte Zustieg ist am Nachmittag.
Uns persönlich hat die Südtour besser gefallen, im Norden doch teils sehr windig im ersten Stock des Bus. Dennoch beide Touren recht lehrreich. Sollte man machen.

Do not buy this service, just horrible, hours waiting for the bus that disappeared and did not come. Full bus, had to take a van, the driver didn't know what he was doing. bus broke down in the middle of the street. No security at all, bus was completely packed. simply the worst service I have ever seen.

We enjoyed the trackless train. Ride was about half an hour and we had been walking around Valletta for 4 days by that point and it still took us places we had not seen. We paid 6€ each. It was certainly an interesting and fun experience. We waited quite a long time because it would not leave with few people, which is understandable from an environmental perspective but if you are in a rush in any way it's also good to know.

Very popular Way to see Malta get a 48hr ticket so you see the north side one day and then the south side the next. The 2 harbor tour of Valletta can be included but it doesn't go on Sunday.Its a full day on both tour's so you can hop on and off at various places. The Slema promenade stop is the most popular and busy ,so be ready for up to an hour wait if the Bus is full.Cost €40 for 2day pass And harbor tour.

We did 3 walking tours with Chris during our time in Malta and they were all phenomenal. He is so knowledgeable about his local culture and history, he also has a wonderful sense of humor. We did the Valletta Food Tour, Mdina & Rabat Tour, and Three Cities Tour. I highly recommend all of them!

Nadine is a great city guide both for Valetta and Mdina. We learned so much from her! No time wasted !

Did not have a great experience and hope most other people have a better time! First of all, the buses are dirty and dusty and you can hardly look through the windows, the drivers drive like maniacs, seats are uncomfortable, audio guide was not working and all 5 drivers and ticket controllers were rude and super unmotivated. The blue route is also too long and since it’s a city sightseeing tour, all the beaches could easily be cut out. A real shame for the price. It was not worth it.

The ‘Valletta Food Tour’ is 3.5 hours, and it’s just as much history (probably more so) than food. The tour was incredibly informative and interesting and it is extremely good value at £35 pp (booked through Viator). There were 11 people in total in our group, plus Ben our Maltese tour guide, who spoke perfect English and some Danish too! We met just before 10:30am by the Triton Fountain, thanks to the detailed instructions we were sent via email before meeting, and Ben was also thoughtful and organised enough to send a WhatsApp message at 10:15am with a location pin.

We started off at a food trunk near the Triton Fountain to try pastizzi, a very traditional Maltese savoury pastry - and in my opinion the best food of the whole tour! We enjoyed pastizzi filled with ricotta and another one with curried peas - both excellent, and went just around the corner to try imqaret, another Maltese snack, which is like a pop tart or looks like a giant fig roll, filled with a date jam.

On our way to the next stop, Ben explained the history of the old opera house, the Order of the St John, Jean de Valette, various Maltese architects, and architecture such as the Maltese Parliament. Afterwards we went to Coffee District to sample some Maltese Coffee, made with chicory, clove and aniseed, as well as samples of chocolate - a dark nougat chocolate, a very creamy olive oil dark chocolate, salted chocolate, and a rather rogue dark chocolate made with goats cheese, which I can’t say I enjoyed but I am proud I tried it!

We had a 20 minute break in the Upper Barrakka Gardens, arriving in time to see the midday cannon fire which was very cool and definitely worth seeing. There are also public loos and a kiosk selling drinks/waters if you need a refreshment.

Following that we went to a few more places, and enjoyed slices of Lampuki torta (mahi mahi/ dorado pie) with spinach in a delicious shortcrust pastry, and Maltese white wine, whilst learning about the history of Malta becoming a Republic, and how Malta was used for various filming sites for big Hollywood movies including Gladiator and Jurassic Park.

Overall, the tour was excellent. The history and Ben’s knowledge was very thorough and engaging. Despite having been in Malta for a week already, we hadn’t tried any of the food or been to any of the places prior to the tour. The food and bars were very traditionally Maltese, un-touristy, and we’d have never found them or noticed them, so it was a brilliant way to discover more. I highly recommend this tour which was brilliant fun.

We left with full stomachs and a better knowledge of Malta, its history, and the key buildings. Definitely worth doing!

Excellent boat trip with Owen and his crew. €25 each for a whole day of adventure and something a little different. We opted for the Gozo and Comino all day trip. We also added the €5 minibus trip to the Gozo Citadel and in land sea. We also had a stop off in Comino where we were able to swim and snorkel in the blue lagoon.

Very relaxed on the boat and although the boat looked over loaded, it was not and was very comfortable.

Only negative thing I would say was the music (although 80's and totally brilliant playlist) was a bit loud and Owen voice when commentating was distorted.

If I was in Malta again and wanted a day trip on a boat with a bit of sea swimming and a trip to Gozo then this would be the trip for me. This is not like the other boat trips and is not a ln extended hen or stag do atmosphere.

Super great way to see the country! There are three different lines. The optimal way is to take one line per day. Because some objects require few hours . One line - 25€, two lines - 40€. The tickets you can buy in the special tourists spots or by the bus.

A company that really takes care of you. Excellent hotel location, with a great tour leader well prepared.

The tours are super organized and the tour leader gave us many interesting information aboat each place we have visited. The only reason i gave 4 stars is that in both tours i've participated, we've visited too much villages with nothing special to do and their time was taken from other more interesting places like exploring more nature, or doing an adventure. But overall it's worthed the price! :)

I really enjoyed this tour. I did the North Loop one day, and then the South Loop another day. There is so much history to see in Malta 🇲🇹 and I wish 🤞 that I had more time to dig deeper. I really only scratched the surface. It is well worth it! Bring the kids...

Very nice crew! At the beginning looked like a bit overcrowded, but everybody got his place and it was enough to lay down on deck. Very beautiful views. Nice food on the deck, possibility to rent snorkeling equipment for free. If we will be in Malta again, absolutely will choose seahorse again!

Always found a welcoming staff at their offices and also met professional tour leaders who helped us throughout our entire holiday with their great knowledge of the country visiting and other useful tips.

You catch this trackless train from outside St John's Co-Cathedral, that's just to your right as you enter the old Valleta city.

It costs €6 euros and takes around about thirty minutes. The downsides to this route, are the noises from both the surrounding shops / crowds; and the annoying sqeek of the brakes, but what do you expect for the price.

Excellent guided tour of Mdina. We leaned about history, architecture, culture, and language. Our guide was very knowledgeable, spoke clearly, and knew the city very well. Takes about 2-2.5 hours

Thanks Britannia Tours for the lovely tour of Sorrento we have just came from there we have nothing to complain about the hotel was excellent and even the food .The excerations were beautiful especially Positano by night .The tour leader Emanuel went out of his way to keep all of us happy.For sure my husband and I will choose Britannia Tours ones again.
