What a garden. Wau. If you like history, beautiful views and gardens, go for this place. We enjoyed every corner of it.
The best place to relax in Valletta. The park contains many benches that are placed along the edge from where you can relax and watch the passage of boats and ferries from above. There are many trees, which provide adequate shade. The main attraction of the park is the fountain along with the structure with columns. This makes it a picturesque worthy spot. Public toilet available for both men and women. Just 1 toilet stall per men/women. Just clean enough for the task.
Small but peaceful green space in Valletta at the edge of the northern corner of the city. There are benches all through the park to sit and enjoy the views and the quiet. You can see the boats and ferries moving people about down below.
There is a large water fountain quite close to the large columnar structure in the middle of the park.

I quite like this place. The garden is small but nicely located. You can walk around the garden and see the ships going in and out of the bay. the forts on the other site of the bay is also in sight. The Greek style architecture is a pearl on the crown for this garden.
Nice peaceful place to spend an hour or so relaxing on a bench whilst admiring the stunning view.
Only negative was the lack of suitable toilet facilities as there was only a single toilet available with no lock on the door or tissue available. Luckily I always carry a bottle of water (if you know you know) and a packet of Tissues handy so made do with what was on offer. Apologies for the oversharing but maybe useful for someone to hear 😂😂

Very nice park with curated gardens. Ideal place for relax after long walk around Valletta city. There are also couple of benches with amazing sea view so a person can rest while enjoying the magnificent views. There is temple, statue and other objects inserted in the park which are giving additional touch to this peaceful place. If needed, public toilet is accessible here as well.
By far one of the best spots in the city. This place feels almost sacred.
Very beautiful, and quiet place. You can walk around it, and look at some harbors in the distance. This was one of the first places I visited in Malta, and I liked the atmosphere, and the surrounding views very much. It's clean, and there are many benches around where one can sit and have a moment of tranquility
The Gardens (upper/lower) are worth the visit. Take the ferry from Sliema to Valletta. Then up the streets to Hastings gardens. Take a short walk and you can see the Upper gardens. Then, it is possible to take the elevator to save time and walk to the left up a bit. You can see the Lower gardens easily. Right next to the gardens you have the Bell monument. There are numerous restaurants and coffee shops around. Nice lunch and good coffee available.

Un seul tir bien que ce soit 12h, on s'attendait à 12 coups, beaucoup d'attente pour pas grand chose.

Très joli parc, petit certes mais charmant. La vue est magnifique et les coins ombragés permettent de prendre un peu la fraîcheur pendant les heures chaudes.
Magnifique parc plein de verdure et de monuments historiques. Il y a beaucoup de bancs, à l’ombre et au soleil pour se poser. Ce parc étant en hauteur, il offre une superbe vue.

Sehr schöner, gepflegter Garten. Mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Der Brunnen in der Mitte erzeugt eine schöne akustische Atmosphäre. Absolut zu erwähnen sind die Toiletten am Ende des Gartens, die auch ok sauber waren. Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne und sehr zu empfehlen.
Lovely area with stunning views into the Valletta harbour. Plenty of shade and seats there so it was nice to sit down for a while after walking in the intense heat for the day. There are also plenty of historical statues and monuments showcasing Malta's interesting past. Worth a visit when stopping into Valletta.
A nice little garden facing the harbour and the 3 Cities. Perfect for sunset and there are a lot of benches to sit and enjoy the view. Near the entrance of the garden has some restaurants/ kiosk to buy food and drinks. Easy for a hot day to hang out. I came here when the flowers blossom, so made it even more beautiful.
Definitely a beautiful view the Mediterranean from this outlook post. Even though it’s a little bit lower in altitude than the upper gardens, it has a unique perspective of the city.
Particularly, the bell across with the sleeping solder statue (commemorating the departure of British Colonialists) and the open sea are much visible form here.
The garden itself, in my opinion, is much more well kept than the upper one. Also, there were a lot less people here as well compared to up there.
Worth a visit. Snap a few pics and learn a little history!

The Monument to Sir Alexander Ball is a neoclassical monument in the Lower Barrakka Gardens in Valletta, Malta. It was built in 1810 as a memorial to Sir Alexander Ball, a British admiral who was the first Civil Commissioner of Malta. Sir Alexander Ball was a British naval officer who was sent to Malta in 1798 to help the Maltese rebels in the blockade against the French. Ball became the first Civil Commissioner of Malta, a post he held from 1799 to 1801 and again from 1802 until his death on 25 October 1809. Attributed to the architect Giorgio Pullicino, the monument is in the form of an ancient Greek temple. The monument was designed in the Greek Revival style of Neoclassical architecture. It is built in the form of an ancient Greek temple with a solid naos and a Doric tetrastyle portico.[1] The design was inspired by the Temple of Hephaestus in Athens
