Omg some of the most incredible breads I’ve had. Their croissants are much better than the best croissants I’ve had in the US and some parts of Europe. We had the plain croissant, chocolate chip sourdough bread, chocolate concha and chocolate croissant – everything was AMAZING… The coffee was great too.
I am a foreigner but I recommend this restaurant strongly. You can enjoy the real mexican foods and feel the atmosphere of traditional. (Tips) Eat pozzole with cream. I like pork head meat. Mollete is not bad but less than expected. Anyway I recommend here to you all!

The matcha concha relleno con crema was amazing. Could really taste the matcha and the bread was so fluffy. The spicy dried mango was also super tasty—reminded us of tamarind.

The food was delicious but the service was a bit slow. So if you’re in a rush this may not be the place for you. If you have time then try it out. The french toast was delicious and my sister love her chilaquiles verdes.

Love this place as a regular bakery. Super affordable, especially comparing with its competition in the neighborhood. More importantly: really fresh and delicious baked goods. Everything I’ve gotten from here was A+ quality.
P.S. You’ll have to practice your Spanish here (I know, crazy right?). But the lady who sells to me is always respectful and polite.
Mi panadería favorita. My absolute favorite bakery! These are the best concha’s you will ever have, they are soft and flavorful and not at all dry like every other concha out there. The staff is helpful and it’s always so clean!

Very nice coffee shop with excellent breakfast and a very nice atmosphere. I will come again!
We used to like coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner but lately we are dissappointed with the food quality and the service. Nowadays both are downright awfull.
It was worth dropping by on weekends when they offerred borrego but now it is no longer part of the menu; instead they have new combinations with “blah” taste.
Our server even forgot what we ordered.
Never coming back!
This place is going downhill.
Beautiful and aesthetically pleasing location. They set up a table and chairs to seat us immediately and the service was amazing even though it was a very busy morning. The food was amazing and I felt so welcomed. We spent over $900+ MXN (tip included) for 3 people.

Without a doubt, my favorite place to have breakfast in Ciudad de Mexico. Everything is delicious: Croissants with Eggs and Hollandaise Sauce, Croque Emmental, Hot Cakes de Elote, Pastel de Mil Hojas, Chocolate Berlinesa and outstanding Coffees. Service aims to please. A must while in the City!

The lady was terrible because I was not taking Spanish.

We had heard so much about this place, but had time only for a quick dinner bite. We went there around 7.30-8pm and the line was very long. Luckily the line moved pretty quickly and the wait time for the order wasn't too long either. We ordered 2 croissant sandwiches and a juice bottle. The croissants were really crispy and yummy. The combination of that with cheese and spinach was really nice. The juice (carrot ginger something combination) was also really good.

Considering the crowds they get, they could improve the directions provided to the customers. There's a person who holds the English menu, and manages the waitlist for the table seating. Nobody explains that and you have to figure it out. The bar stool seating is on a first come basis fyi.
I would've liked to try the place out again, but it was not on the way to any of the main tourist spots from our list unfortunately.
Recomendado.

Nice little shop, with a cute patio and bar seating. There is bit of wait if you go at peak time but wasn't too bad (15-20mins). Sandwich and pastries very good, coffee was decent. Service was alright, but accommodating. Thank you !
Terrible meat, dry, hard. Place to avoid. No alcoholic beverages

Plenty of foot traffic at this location & they don’t measure out the espresso if you’re a coffee nerd. Cute open atmosphere with great pastries. Lots of outdoor seating!

Awesome smooth expresso drinks. Opens at 8. Most others open at 9. Simple menu, all delicious, pastry oven in site. Good people. Next to the Hotel Siglo XVII that is pricey but looks very quiet. That’s great being right near downtown with tons of places at walking distance

The pan de elote was lovely and the apple turnover style pastry had a nice snap. Tempted to go back to o try the savoury options.

Be easy to queue though - it's popular!
Cute spot! The coffee was alright, not exceptional, and the place was quite busy. Also, the service was quick, and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Unfortunately, the pastries didn't taste as fresh as I had hoped. Despite this, I would still recommend dropping by to experience it for yourself.

Yummy coffee and breakfast. I was going to go again the next day, but they opened late and I thought perhaps they were closed on Monday. Oh well.

Just saying if you show up close to 8:00 and they are closed, give them a few more minutes.

Tourist prices, but I don't mind as long as the food and service are good.

Terrible customer service, I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered a matcha latte. They gave me a regular latte and refused to correct my order, even after I had already tipped them. They said I needed to pay for another drink instead even though they got my order wrong. This was not a language barrier, my husband speaks fluent Spanish. Do not waste your money here

Took my order incorrectly and refused to switch out the incorrect order for what I actually ordered. Proceeded to make me pay again for their mistake. Poor customer service. Go next door to Forte for better coffee and service. Would be a solid 0 stars from me if I could

i really like this spot, sunny/ shady corner in Roma, comfortable chairs, pleasant staff. it could really benefit however from a streamlined workflow behind the counter: think starbucks. if it's an order & pay at the counter place, which it is, then take our name & call it out to pick up our order too. As it is, you wait like 10 minutes to get a croissant & drink from the vitrine, coffee comes separate, etc because the barrista is also running food out to tables she doesn't remember who ordered what. this makes no sense. whoever manages this place should take a research trip to Starbucks, or Tierra Garat, & train accordingly. Also--put a clear sign "ORDER HERE" at the register--its confusing and every time i'm there there are people scrambling, waiting, asking each other bc they don't know where the line starts.
Cordon blue wasn’t tasty and fresh.
I did order 4 croissants. The staff put two of them in individual bags and the ones with nuts and almonds were throw in the bag with the baguette. When I pointed that they just took out the croissants, put them in individual bags and left me to finish bagging myself. The bread smells good, but the bad service tells me that maybe I won’t return.

Finally ate a croissant and it taste and feels like a Concha. Disappointing.

Ordered a croissant w/ pecans and was recommended by the staff to warm it up. Also ordered a cinnamon roll w/ the same idea… unfortunately they put the pastries in their little toaster oven thing twice and didn’t turn it on either time lol. After handing us the pastries in a giant bag all by themselves, they then handed me an Americano that tasted like hot water. Haven’t had a bad Americano in CDMX. Don’t even like leaving bad reviews but this was comically poor. Pastries tasted good even at room temp tho

Deliciosos panes, bocadillos, pasta y mini pasteles.

Enjoyed this panaderia so much I passed by it several times during my stay in CDMX. Since it was walking distance it only made sense to keep up my energy with coffee and delicious pastries !

I never tried guava dessert flavored anything but it is now on my radar. Out of all the Pastries I had (which was a lot) I recommend anything with the ricotta cheese or the donut with nuts on top. The store gets quite busy so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a quiet place to be. They are dog friendly but I mean what place isn’t in CDMX.

While the food at this restaurant is truly outstanding, I have to admit that the service could use some improvement. Unfortunately, my wait time for food was quite long. However, I remain hopeful that the restaurant will address this issue and provide faster service in the future.

Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant for its delicious cuisine, but be prepared for a potentially lengthy wait.

Only came for some coffee and a place to rest and relax for a bit. The drinks are fine, nothing special but nothing bad either. The staff are all nice and the service was quick. The wife here is strong and it’s a nice, quiet, shady place to stay for a bit.

Amazing cakes. Specially the miniature one. So cute. And the amount if work they put in each one. All that detailing.
Our visit to La Casa de Los Abuelos was very disappointing. Service was atrocious!!! The restaurant was not busy and our server was completely useless. I ordered my hot chocolate and waited 40 minutes before it arrived. That was after I reminded the server of my missing drink twice . Disappointing service also extended to others in our party of 9 who...
- received quesadillas and tacos that were cold,
- ordered items didn't arrive, or were incorrect.
- our bill included an item that we didn't order and then when we advised the server, he rudely argued with us before finally changing the bill.
- My wife's pozole arrived when our entire party had finished eating.

We won't be going back, and I will not recommend this place to anyone.
Neighborhood family-style restaurant; kind of old but they have a lot to choose from in terms of menu and pastries; not many vegetarian options but there are a few things like the provolone omelette. It was clean enough, the feel was older; service is very nice and they were accommodating. I got a fruit cup with oats and cream that was good. You can tell they’re not used to getting tourists but they tried to help us best they could (our Spanish was more limited than we wished). Overall fine to eat a quick bite if you’re not looking for high-end cuisine.
Highly recommended concha and coffee shop in Mexico City. Corner store, with outdoor seating. Minimal wooden interior design . Fresh concha filled with cream and great espresso. Staff is multilingual and very helpful with the order. Smiley and kindly also. Great choice for breakfast . Not many parking lots in the area.

Delicioso 😋

It’s a nice place, the only thing it’s that dishes are very small, so if you’re hungry you’ll ask for food two times.

A low-key, cozy restaurant that 100% lives up to its name; serving some of the best conchas in the neighborhood.

I recommend starting out with a vanilla concha with nata (cream) and for your main dish the enchiladas mole coloradito (rolled corn tortilla stuffed with chicken, covered with mole sauce sprinkled with fresh cheese, cream, and lettuce.)

The Good:
+ Exceptional concha. The right amount of sweetness, and excellent crisp-fluffy texture. Nice touch to heat it up slightly with nata (cream).
+ Fast & friendly service.
+ Main dishes are plated excellently, but more importantly they taste amazing. Well executed flavor profiles.

The Okay / The Bad:
• Nothing. This place is a solid choice.

If you’re going to come here then you must order a concha y nata! Traditional concha filled with a nice thick layer of cream mmmmhm 🤤 other breakfast dishes are good as well but they definitely named their restaurant after the star of the show.
Today was my first Day in this great restaurant, I recommend it so much, specially the “Mole de Olla” in this rainy say was perfect. i finish my dinner with a “Cafe Lechero”.
It's a place where to buy small treat for you or your kids, family, or friends, also they have cake of different flavors, you can buy by bulk or single. Piece of cake Tres Leches is 3 milks, or Rompope like egg nog. Good small entrance.

We came here for lunch and it was so
Good we came back the next day for breakfast. Make sure to try the name sake Concha y Nata. A traditional Mexican sweet roll (either vanilla or chocolate) filled with delicious clotted cream. We also tried the pastel de nata which was delicious. Light fluffy cake soaked in milk and covered with Nata. Eats like a tres leche. Highly recommend.

We came to eat breakfast and it turned out to be very disappointing. The glasses of juice were 2/3 full, many things that appeared on the menu were not available, the avocado toast was tasteless and the bread was soft, and the cheese chapata was mediocre. You can go ahead and enjoy the pastries, but stay away from the breakfast-lunch section, until it'll be improved.
Delicioso 😋
Went there almost every day. They varied their offering, have great coconout milk jellos, empanadas and delectable miniature chicolates and flan.

We had a nice lunch here. We ordered a plate of fruit, the guias de chochoyote y guias de calabaza soup, and the chapulines memelas. Every dish was tasty. We especially enjoyed the memelas. The chapulines had a nice lemony flavor. The coffee is also nice. You can sit in the courtyard for lunch or order from the cafe counter to-go.

A new perfect spot for brunch in La Roma. The small bakery and cafe also serves breakfast and lunch now.

Pastries are amazing. They usually do their own take on traditional Mexican bakery and with really high quality.

Service is good and prices are fair, really recommended!
Great service, they have great hygiene measures and make sure everything is perfect. The food and coffee was great as well, do try their "guajolotas"!
Rico pan!! Yummie

Nice place, good selection of simple Mexican food and pastry. Good price, a bit busy during rash hours
