Got two tacos dorados. Those were good. My only issue was that the cooks in the back were a bit phobic.

Or first taco stop upon arriving Mexico City. We had incredible tacos and service. Our server recommended the smoked pastor tacos (black pastor). The meat is smoked and tasted incredible. ALL of the tacos we ordered were delicious. We also liked the iced cold horchata drink and passion fruit juice.

Tacos were large but at 60 pesos each a bit expensive. Not sure what is so special about them. Service was super slow and place itself is quite basic. Waited 40 minutes to get 6 tacos.
This a seafood place, none of the food matches what is in previous reviews. It has shrimp tacos, fish tacos, then a hot pot with shrimp. I was looking for the traditional al pastor with pineapple on top, nope didn’t see it anywhere. The food is good, but you are paying US prices. A one time visit for me.

Los tacos son muy grandes y te los dan con dos tortillas ya que puedes hacer dos sin problema. El sabor y la suavidad de la carne son muy buenos.
Tacos de buen sabor, bien reportados y con excelentes complementos(salsas, cebolla, tacos de frijol, chile) más los típicos pepinos y guacamole.
Una delicia a buen precio son amables y ofrecen múltiples complementos en la mesa para hecharle a los tacos sin duda una carta de amor a la gastronomía

Affordable and tasty taco place, frequented by locals and tourists. Service was friendly and fast (Orlando was patient with us English speakers, giving great recommendations). The highlights were the Al Pastor taco trio (traditional, negra and chicken) - pineapple was a nice touch. Guacamole and tortilla soup were also good. Would return for sure 👍🏾

I hadn't been here before as I thought it was a bit commercial having seeing their branches pop up all over town but boy was I wrong.
Their pastor left nothing to be desired and their many taco variety's are sure to satisfy anyone. Service is also quick and excellent as you would expect from any taco joint.

This place is always busy but service is super fast! The food was average. Salsas were really good! Service is a 3 star because server was coming to our table every single minute, asking if we needed anything! It was too many times. LET ME EAT!
Amazing Birria. I recommend the “dorados” which is the fried version of the taco. So it’s perfectly crunchy to dip in the meat sauce. Wash it down with a cold beer or Coca-Cola. Cards accepted. Some outdoor communal seating.
Excelente papa horneada! Pedi a domicilio por Didi y la papa me llego caliente y el agua fresca fría, aunque se me hace raro que me hayan puesto la cebada en bolsa estaba muy buena y bien reportada la papa.

Carne deliciosa 🤤🤤🤤 siempre luce lleno pues está muy rico lo que venden. Cuentan con tacos, gorditas, quesadillas (mixtas como le dicen los mochitenses) órdenes de carne asada, etc. Aceptan pagos en efectivo y con tarjeta. El lugar luce muy rústico. Lo recomiendo altamente.

I was really craving some birria late at night so I decided to give this restaurant a visit as I've walked by it a few times. You can watch the kitchen as they prep the food and needless to say, I was very excited by the sight and the smells.
Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to my expectations as I've had much better birria elsewhere. The food was still pretty tasty and was very filling. It's priced reasonably and did the job.
I would recommend this spot for a quick bite/late-night snack, but I wouldn't label it as anything special.

The debate and forever battle of best tacos in Mexico City will be endless. Different people recommend all sorts of places, and depending on what types of meat or salsas you like, the opinions of a proper “taqueria” will vary from “good tacos” to “the most amazing bite of food I’ve ever had”.
La Casa del Pastor falls in between (in case you don’t feel like reading the rest, the takeaway is definitely eat here 😋).
This particular location is one of the nicest looking ones thanks to its proximity to all major Polanco shops, walkable street (Masaryk) and safety.
Service is excellent and the long menu will make you want to come back a few times (I always do lol).
If you like pastor (marinated pork) please do yourself a favor and try the house specialty “black pastor” (same concept but marinated in a sauce made in house). Speaking of sauces…they bring a selection of salsas (all delicious) ranging from mild to hot. I suggest to try them all and then pick a favorite to smother in your food.

The food was horrible lengua tacos the lengua was bland ans dry. Chorizo argentino is a total fraud. Never again

The tacos and consume were fantastic. They are quick, greasy and cheap. No seats/ standing only but worth a stop for a quick bite.
La tripita que venden en este lugar se lleva de calle a muchas que he probado. La calidad de la carne y sus productos muy buena. Siempre que vayan pidan frijolitos antes de sus tacos , son una delicia.

Excelente sabor y calidad de la adobada. La carne asada en lo personal no es mi favorita. Pero todo muy rico. Servicio rápido y personal amable.

Pedí un vampiro y estaba bueno. Pero sus tacos al pastor no son realmente tacos al pastor, ya que cortan la carne del trompo y la cocinan en la plancha, lo que cambia totalmente el sabor y la textura de la carne. No estaban malos, pero no creo que sean tacos al pastor.
