I felt this was a great simple menu. Too many options can overwhelm you and the cook. This menu is perfect for the chefs to perfect their craft. I'm not a coffee drinker but my hot chocolate was good. My friends were amazed by the good flavor of their coffee. All of us enjoyed our meals except my friend who ordered the pancakes. She mentioned they didn't stand out to her much. Overall, I'd come back. We were in the backyard area, which was nice and cozy for our large group

Delicious egg sandwich. The ambiance is real mellow, lots of American nomads, so Spanish and English is spoken here. The breakfast is easily one of the best and comes with seasonal fruit as well. The staff was attentive and polite. Definitely on the pricey side but a delicious meal to be sure.

Desafortunadamente ha bajado considerablemente la calidad y sabor de sus alimentos; pero lo que no bajo, y muy por el contratario, se elevaron demasiado los precios, dando como resultado una comida cara y desagradable. La atención es lenta pero es por la sobrecarga de trabajo de los meseros. Ya no volvería a consumir ni en este ni en ninguno más de la cadena.
Café Americano, cold, middle good service, we ask them for to heat the coffee. And they just put few seconds in the microwave. Still not hot.

Cute cafe, perfect little brunch spot in a quiet and picturesque neighborhood. Really kind and helpful staff. Small food menu but decent selections. I got the pancakes and found the portion size to be enough to share with 2 people. Taste and quality was good. Complimentary orange juice and cantaloupe. I was disappointed by the coffee though. Bitter and the almond milk wasn’t good.
Best Italian food I’ve ever had in GDL!! Definitely recommend. I’ve been to all other popular places and this one has always been the best!

Excellent service, nice environment and delish pizza. Watch out for the spice on the diavola. I like spicy but it was way too spicy.
We came here for brunch on our last day of vacation in Mexico City. The Benny with Avocado was delicious. The staff was very kind and provided free orange juice and papaya. The atmosphere is relaxing, with lots of plants and natural light.

The food was great, we ordered a pizza and burger and fries. Before our food came out, they brought us some bread to the table. The service was good also. The only bad thing is it was very hot, they had a ceiling fan and no AC, so we sweated a lot.

I normally don’t write negative reviews but my partner and I were so surprised by how bad the food was that I have to warn others. :( Reeled in by the pretty atmosphere and beautiful outdoor seating, we always noticed that Cancino was crowded almost every day.
We decided to try it on our last night in CDMX. We ordered the huitlacoche pizza, truffle fries, and mushroom gnocchi. Boy oh boy. The truffle fries were the only redeeming entree. The pizza was so undercooked that the dough was overly chewy and cheese had no char to it. Then the gnocchi came. The dish was served at room temperature and the gnocchi was incredibly hard.
I didn’t even take any photos because we were so underwhelmed and disappointed.

Really delicious! Spinach & Artichoke Fondue was excellent, service was great, wonderful drinks etc.

While the food was amazing, the customer experience was really bad. The waiter never checked on us even when the food took a while, which is understandable for a Friday night though the restaurant was too busy. What’s worst is that the waiter charged us more in tip than what we authorized. This is a very sneaky and unprofessional way to deal business. Tip is a reflection of service and while his service was terrible, by him stealing from customers is unacceptable.
I don't know where all the good reviews came from but everyone's food was totally bland, not Italian and didn't taste nice. The service was poor. The location was cute though.
I was looking for a place I can relax and eat some Italian food and you know what I found it!... Definitely a place I will be coming back to!... Shout out to the person who took my order (Florencia) definitely knows how to attend! .. efficient and very courteous!......... Thank you guys for the experience!......

Sinceramente no se han enfocado o esforzado en mejorar la calidad de la comida, al final por eso quiere ir la gente. El servicio estuvo bien, trajeron la comida más o menos a tiempo, amables y pacientes. Pero al final, vamos por la comida, ¿no?

My favorite Italian restaurant in GDL. The pizza marker saw I was sitting alone and came to offer me company and talk about the restaurant (really appreciate the random act of kindness) ordered the Prosciutto Pizza (cooked perfectly) and had a glass of sangria as well. Came back the next day for lunch to have the Bruschetta plate. Will visit again next trip 🍕🍕🍞🍞🥗🥗
The pizza was outstanding, the ravioli was good but a little light in the filling, service was also outstanding and the prices were very good and reasonable 👍 for Guadalajara restaurants! Highly recommended that you try this place especially if you are craving a really good wood fired pizza!
Hole in the wall near the cathedral. Super adorable and delicious pasta and pizza. We loved the sangria too - it’s a little sweet. Cute decor. Feels like a tiny slice of Europe. I recommend this place!

Oh my goodness, what a pizza!!! I've been waiting for months to have a good quality pizza in my travels in Mexico & Funicula gave me an 8.8/10 in their pepperoni & mushroom pizza. They're naranjanada was fresh & delicious, so refreshing. I wish I took photos, but it was immediately delicious & everything was enjoyed greatly. Their Italian ice cream is amazing, too. Great serving sizes for the price you pay. If you want a great night out enjoying great service, great ambience & great food, Funicula is a MUST.

Absolutely one of the best pizzas I’ve had. We ordered Margarita pizza for delivery. It was fresh, cheesy, full of flavors and had thin crust. Nicely done!
Really mediocre. Food was pretty flavourless, especially for the price, just tons of sugar. Eggs were supposed to be poached but came out basically boiled, maple syrup was so fake and the chicken was very processed. The waiter also got our order wrong and got very annoyed with us, he did come back later to sort of apologise though. Also you have to share the toilets with Starbucks next door, which had a big queue. I think there are so many better options out there and I won't be going to a cheese cake factory again.

Food wasn’t good and not nearly authentic. I ordered food that originated in US and didn’t taste akin to the original. A ripoff. My appetizers came cold, my girlfriends garlic shrimp tasted bad and had a shrimp with its intestines hanging out. Not worth the money. I can make food just as bad at home without breaking the bank

The food was not the best at this place. We only really enjoyed the spaghetti with red sauce, and the pizza was just okay. The waiter took forver to take our order and we had to ask him about placing our order and then he said it would take 30 mins to get our pizza which could have been avoided if he had taken our order soon.
Stopped by for a snack and wine. Carpaccio de pulpo is delicious. It’s a tasty appetizer that pairs well with a glass of wine. I had a glass of Tempranillo which was light and refreshing. My only complaint is that they don’t offer more wines by the glass.

We didn't have food here. Only drinks but it's the nicest patio with all the trees right in the middle of the city - so serene. There was also a keyboard there. It's some music as well. The service was a bit slow but the drinks were tasty.
Been here twice in 2 weeks. I love the pizza but second time ordered non pizza. Absolutely amazing across the board. Quinoa salad and chicken plate. Went on a Monday night National holiday. Still packed.
Everything about this place was great. Nice music at a talkable volume, friendly staff and waiters, nice atmosphere in Plaza Madrid. We had pizzas, diavola and rustica, and the crusts were incredibly light and crunchy. No skimping on toppings and didn’t overdue the cheese. We had one of the best Caesar salad’s that we’ve ever had. We will definitely go back.

Terrible experiencia, la calidad de los alimentos ha bajado mucho mientras los precios se han incrementado. Las pizzas son mucho más pequeñas y su sabor no es nada bueno, la masa es dura y las orillas quemadas. El tamaño paso de ser excelente a demasiado pequeño. Eliminaron muchas opciones del menú y de ser un restaurante de pizzas ahora le dan más prioridad a las cervezas. Aunado a ello falta personal ya que un mesero atiende casi 10 mesas. La hostess estaba muy enferma que apenas podía hablar y aún así atendiendo mesas y manejando comida. Pésima experiencia no lo recomiendo para nada, cambió totalmente a lo que era cuando llegaron a México
Favorite wood fired pizza restaurant in CDMX. Dine in or take out, you can’t go wrong. My favorites are the kale salad paired with the prosciutto/arugula or pear/Gorgonzola pizza. Great service, ambiance, and quality of food!
Monday evening.around 8 pm and went right in. Got the Burrata Margarita and it was delicious. The crust is very thin and soft, and the sauce and burrata were really good. 👌 I would go back.
Love it. Okay so it’s not Italy but the chef puts his own spin on these flavorful Italian dishes. I split the fettuccine Alfredo and chicken Parma with my friend. We ate it all. My other friend got the salmon over the red sauce. He said the salmon. was great. The cream brûlée was so creamy and sweet.

The food was delicious. The pizza has an incredible crust, cheese and tomato sauce. Also, ask the waitress for pasta recommendations, they're excellent. Beverages also delicious as well!

Menú diverso. Bebidas/cócteles muy ricos🍸. Precios accesibles comparando el estilo de restaurante. Atención por parte de meseros excelente, no se siente adulación, si no trato sincero, amable y abiertos a darte consejos sobre el menú. Fui un lunes y estaba muy tranquilo el lugar. Lo recomiendo
Buen lugar, es muy agradable el irte a sentar y disfrutar la mixología del lugar. La verdad la comida no es tan deliciosa como las bebidas. La atención por parte de los meseros es casi perfecta, el ambiente es lindo, el lugar es limpio. El día que lo visité (viernes) estuvo muy lleno por lo cuál recomiendo hacer una reservación. Necesitan urgentemente un área de juegos para niños, es muy desagradable tropezarte con ellos cuando te levantas al baño. Aceptan pagos en efectivo y con tarjeta.
Strong garlic sauce, just the way I like it, made my spinach and cheese ravioli a winner. Fast efficient service although it could have been because I arrived at a non-peak hour. I expected a few slices of fresh Italian bread to accompany the dish, but no. That was my one disappointment.

I will come back here just to see Armando, a hardworking employee of Funicula who has been delivering the best for 17 yrs. Their menu is outstanding, great atmosphere and top 3 Italian food in Guadalajara.

I loved the pizza here, highly recommend it. I would rate the restaurant 5 stars but I noticed the restrooms are very dirty and the chairs are very uncomfortable.
Location is amazing and it's a must stop for the pizza. I've had pizza all around the world including Italy and it's easily a Top 5 pizza. Don't get the lasagna, it takes forever to come out and taste is a bit weird. Also the guys restroom is extremely rustic with no running water to wash your hands. I would definitely come back for the pizza!!
Nice experience, the parmesan chicken sandwich is amazing and the key lime cheesecake has a smooth balance between acidity and sweetness. All portions are Texas Size.

Cacino's was a pleasant surprise. My friends and I decided to go on a whim and our expectations were exceeded at every level. To begin the food was extremely delicious. We had the marguerite and the rustic pizza and the tasted so incredibly good. I am not big on wine, but my friend how is really liked what she ordered. They also have a selection of beer and soft drinks. Truly there is something for everyone. Totally worth a visit!

They have great ingredient combinations for their pizza. Baked in a brick oven, thin and crispy dough. The open sitting area is quite nice. Staff is very friendly, got the pizza in great timing.

Cool Italian spot in la Roma. Service was slow but the food was great. Recommend ordering to share as the portions are relatively large. The fondue is a must. Place is very cute.

It's a small place, but nice for a date or a reunion with friends. The food is good and the prices may be a little expensive for the portions, but it really worth it. I recommend to try the portobello sauce in any dish you like, and it can go along with a cup of good wine, they have a large selection.
