One of the most beautiful parks in the world. This park puts "Central Park" in New York, to shame. The flowers in the springtime and fall are breathtaking. It will take you a while to walk the entire park, as it's so huge. Busters on the benches, people just sunbathing, and a good amount of wildlife as well. I recommend bringing a blanket and maybe something to eat, so you can take your time and just soak in the nature. A wonderful and magical place.
Amazing park. It’s reasonable beautiful. It’s near Museums and easy to go from the Amsterdam Central Station.

Came off the cruise ship and rented bikes in the city. There were no electric bikes left, but biking here was easy, even for someone not as high endurance as me. I found a little coffee cart in the middle of the park, it was great break from riding around.
Large park in the city centre, had a circular route to walk/run or cycle round. Perfect for spending a few hours relaxing if you want to get away from the huddle of the city. Like everywhere in Amsterdam it can get busy with cyclists.
Absolutely beautiful picturesque scenery
NP Hoge Veluwe kent 3 toegangspoorten en Ingang Schaarsbergen is er één van. Op park bevinden zich een bezoekerscentrum, het Museonder, restaurant, jachtslot St. Hubertus, Kröller-Müller museum en een theehuis. En dat alles in een prachtige natuur met veel naaldbossen, loofbomen, heidevelden en zandverstuivingen. In het park leven veel wilde zwijnen en edelherten. En sinds kort verblijven er ook wolven geheel tegen de wens van de beheerders in.
In september trekt het park extra bezoekers I.v.m. het fenomeen burlen.

AMAZING ZOO!! the animals have plenty of space and liberty to show up to visitors or not. most of the animals have an indoor and outdoor enclosure
i visited back in February and the animals that are natural to hot weather had the option to stay in their warm habitat or come out to take a walk in the cold and see the visitors. truly 5 stars.

Apparently, ARTIS is one of Europe’s oldest zoo and unique is that it’s situated in the middle of the city. It was very convenient to walk here as it only took us 20 minutes or so.
They have many animals here. The highlight was the elephants. They were walking around and kicking a ball.
There is also a play area for kids. My 6 year old daughter liked playing on it.
You probably need at least two visits to appreciate everything here.

Was a nice experience overall, very pastoral pretty place to walk around. The animals looks a little sad though. I did not got a lot of chances in life to visit zoos, not a big fan. Still was cool to see animals up close.
Just a wonderful park to hang out!
It has a beautiful lake and tons of places to sit by. You can even use the parks to take the sun bath. You'll find many meetups, curricular activities, games happening around.
You're just going to love the views in the park.
You must visit if you're in Amsterdam.

Beautiful place essentially at the zoo near the big bird cage. Food was great. Wife had the pork neck and i had the steak. Both were very nice. Service was really slow but it was a hang out for the evening place anyway. Really great way to spend the evening. Great place for a date. This was actually the plantage restaurant.
Beautiful green open area next to Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum. The best place for letting the awe and wonder of watching the paintings by Van Gogh to settle and sink in you.
Very beautiful park, especially if you like birds or bird watching. The bodies of water in this park contain many beautiful waterfowl. There are beautiful geese, ducks, coots, herons, crows, and magpies here. As an American, many of the species present here (especially the geese and magpies) were something of a novelty. There is also a lovely rose garden within the park with a variety of different-colored roses.
The Park is very quiet and clean. We walked through the park and way back to the city centre. It is very quiet and there are benches all over the park where you can sit and take in the sites of nature. The park also has some jungle gyms for the little ones and there are some animals in enclosures that can be seen. If you are into history, you can still see some parts of the old town walls that have remained close to the pond.
A beautiful park really big there’s lots to see and some lovely areas to sit and escape the city noise for a while.

Vondelpark is a great park for nearly any itinerary...whether you're looking to just walk through parts of it to enjoy some green space, or to spend the entire day taking in the various areas throughout the large park. We happened to be there on a day when there was a concert - which was great. We stayed for a few drinks and listened to some good music, then enjoyed the rose garden and just wandering around, taking in nature. It's a lively park with bike and walking trails, and is just a great space for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. If you're in Amsterdam and have some free time - you won't be disappointed spending some of it here.
Massive zoo, I recommend having a day for this, it’s flat, accessible for wheelchairs. The enclosures are really good, they have lots of enrichment for the animals, they are a good size. The animals are also easy to view due to the vastness/openness of their enclosures. I massively recommend going here and eating in coffee and bites beforehand! The food there is lush! This is a beautiful zoo with lots of animals to see.

A beautiful and big Park. Take your blanket to the park and enjoy an afternoon. You could find a little bit of crowd and bikes as always in Amsterdam, but is worthy
Beautiful zoo with a lot to explore! It’s big and clean and animals seems happy and relaxed. Make sure to take a map at the entrance, kids love to pick the animals they want to see and choose the way they get to them on the map. There are a few places there to eat, buy snacks and drinks. It’s a good day activity with kids.
A delicious and rather quite park, to escape the busy and crowded city-center of Amsterdam. With a lot of waterbirds in the ponds and play gardens for children. You can reach this place easily with tram 19, direction Diemen.
Beautiful park. Slightly disappointed with the rose gardens. Expected them to be a lot better. But the grounds of the park are beautiful to walk around. Lovely spot to relax in the sunshine. Portaloo toilets. Places to get snacks and drinks

The habitats are so well designed that you feel like you can actually see the entire space and have a good chance of seeing animals. They are not hidden off in the distance or behind a huge fence like most zoos. They use water and natural features to keep the separation.
The bridge between the elephants and giraffes is beyond cool! The same goes for the restaurant and kids playground that feel like you're basically in the habitat.
The animals all looked lively and healthy and we lucked out seeing almost every animal awake (went at 10am, weekday, during august).

Super schöne Landschaft und sehr gute Radwege. Nur zu empfehlen. Preis ist nicht günstig aber gerechtfertigt. Man kann viele Stunden hier verbringen.
A pretty neighbourhood park with ponds, benches, flowers and ducks.
A large green area is great for resting after visiting the city or one of the surrounding museums. There are also benches in the shade.
Currently seems to be under renovation. Pedestrian access to the grounds only. Did see the interesting architecture from the outside, so for me personally it was worth the walk.
Wonderful destination with enough activities and space to just relax. Unfortunately the Amsterdam exhibit with the gigantic letters is no longer there.
Wonderful place. We arrived later in the day and it meant we had the park almost for ourselves. The kids loved it and so are we. Don't forget to take water or even some snacks because the services here close early.
Beautiful park! I saw a small dog park and school gardens. Lots of shade and sun. Very relaxing.
A beautiful park in the center of Amsterdam! There’s a playground with a little water for kids to play in, and you can hike and bike through the entire park! We pick nicked there for lunch and it was absolutely perfect.

I love so much how the zoo organized animals home. feels really cozy and relaxing for them.

Meine Frau hat mir immer von diesem Ort erzählt... gestern war es soweit wir sind hingefahren. Von Essen sehr gut zu erreichen. 2 Fahrräder + Eintritt+ Parkplatz knapp 30€ ich meine das ist nicht zu viel.
Wer die Ruhe liebt eine Landschaft auf sich wirken lassen kann ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Diese Ruhe die Möglichkeiten alles sehr gut mit dem Rad zu erreichen perfekt. Wir hatten eine Decke mit uns legten und Mützen in die Natur hat wirklich gut getan. Wer die Möglichkeit hat auf den eigenen Rädern unterwegs zu sein kann ich nur sagen macht das. Die Räder sind gut in Schuss die jeder nutzen kann aber ich bin 197cm groß und da hört es auf keine Gangschaltung ( bei den weißen Rädern) das habe ich mich schon angestrengt.... Aber war trotzdem toll und ein kleines Abenteuer.... Der Park hat so viel an Landschaft zu bieten.... Immer wieder gerne....

Just the vibe is great ! There is something for all here!! I have visited this area in different seasons and it’s stunning in winter too with an ice skating rink too. It was gorgeous even now in April.
Very strange place.
Lovely peaceful park to wander around in. The landscape is very lush with lots of trees, flowers, and hidden paths. There are some benches to rest and watch the ducks. Pretty easy to wander around and possibly get lost.
Such a nice place, not too big of a park but small and cozy with a nice pond and a cute pond. Had a lovely time there enjoying my day off in Nijmegen. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Fajne miejsce na niedzielny spacer, w tunelu z roślin można zrobić ciekawe zdjęcia. Duży bezpłatny parking. Wjazd od Nieuwkuijku (nawigacja kieruje na Vlijmen, ale nie mogliśmy tamtędy wjechać). Nie wiem tylko czy można wejść do środka do zamku bo nam się nie udało. Ogólnie zamek wyglada jak z bajki i serio jest różowy 😜🤪😜🤪😜🤪😜

Beautiful park with great photo opportunities. Very well kept for a park in a city centre. The stood tall in between of the tips of the trees and the lion was proudly perched upon his hill. Great to walk through on a sunny day.

Great park. Its surface extends a lot, many trees, benches, trash cans, nice people and a beautiful view from up the tower.

This is a nice place for a short visit. Nothing much to explore other than a monument and the soldiers however the park is quite scenic and well maintained.
Good place to go for a hike, no entrance fee, entrance was quite hard to find though. Don't expect any accommodations but the park itself is quite beautiful and not to big, you can see almost everything in an hour or two. A lot of shade for the warm days is also a plus.

Beautiful city park, featuring a collection of beautiful allotments, a water bird pool and reeds, a manor house and restaurant. The children’s play area is supervised by a nesting crane on top of a disused chimney. Park also features children’s own gardens, a project which allows primary school children a chance to grow their own plants.
Leuk en schoon park met voldoende speelgelegenheid voor jonge kinderen.
Prachtig park, jammer van het zwerfafval, niet iedereen weet de natuur te waarderen helaas.
Great park, always crowded on sunny days. Perfect for small parties, chilling alone or with friends, walking your dog, exercising.
There is always some maintenance or improvements happening and they also have some voluntary community groups and projects helping to keep the park in good condition ☺️

Groene wijk met veel parken. Mooi wonen op de meeste plaatsen (helaas zitten er wat rommelige delen in de wijken, maar zeker zeer veel mooie delen).
Mooi plekje om te wandelen :)
Leuk gemaakt, maar waterspeelgedeelte is in zomer vaak niet te gebruiken door het slechte waterkwaliteit (iedere zomer botulisme in het water).
Een prachtig park. Met waterspeeltuin, kinderboerderij, sport veldjes. Heerlijk recreëren en picknicken.
