Extremely hectic. Don't count on your reservation. Staff told us literally when we were there on time for our 18h reservation, the waiting guests in the shop have priority, tel-reservations don't matter and if they would tell his when you call for a table, nobody would come. Turn-over is extreme. Staff members are overloaded and argue. I did not experience an extreme taste in the food, you can get it all over the city. If you are looking for a nice evening with an acceptable atmosphere, this is not the place to go. For a high priced middle quality kebap in a horrible sphere, yes, this is the right place.

The service is simply amazing. The staff is very kind and everything is brought over to your table quickly.The shisha lounge upstairs is the perfect place to chill with a tv in the room incase you wanna watch a football game with friends. Whatever you order is pretty good for a fair price considering its location. i come here with every one of my friends atleast once a month
Such a bizarre and terrible experience. I order a doner sandwich meal (#12). The person who took my order was uncertain what that was. He then immediately walked out the front door after I paid, never to return. The guy who was still there was extremely aggressive and unfriendly. He was yelling at another couple and forcefully grabbed one of their hands. Then apparently he told the woman in front of me that he couldn’t do a #12 but then made it for me. As I was walking out with that takeaway order, she asked him about this and he started yelling that he doesn’t even work there. When I got to my room to eat, turns out I didn’t even get what I order. I got a random frozen chicken patty. Also so unsanitary. He didn’t wear gloves and was touching everything and touching all the food. I saw him take out some trash before making my meal. Needless to say I didn’t eat any of it. Just needed to get out of as escalating and uncomfortable situation. Beyond bad, should be shut down if there is any sort of health standards in Amsterdam.
Very bad food for a pretty high price even considering where it is located. The only ok thing was fries. There are many better places around, better go elsewhere.
Quite surprised with amount of bad reviews. Doner burger was really good, prices are ok as well. The person who served us was fine too, we didn’t sense any rudeness. Good takeaway for a quick bite while you are out drinking.
We recently dined at Middle eat. The food was absolutely delicious. Their loaded nachos are a must try. The ambiance of the place is warm and cosy. The prices are reasonable. They sometimes give discount if you book in advance online. The only downside was the service time. Even though the place was not crowded, the food took a long time to arrive. Apart from that everything was good.

The price-quality-quantity is amazing! A lot of veggie and vegan options. I enjoyed it very much!
I accept you guys that their service aid is good but the food is not up-to the level. I had ordered a Dürüm and it tasted awful. Especially the chicken was old and i had also asked them for some spicy sauce and the sauce was just like a chilli powder mixed in water, it felt worse. I would highly recommend that you guys should get some good quality food in amsterdam and this one is not the place
So far the best lahmacun in the Netherlands. Do not compare it with the other turkish pizzas you eat. In most of the restaurants they will bring you something that is baked before and just heated up but here I think it was freshly baked. I also liked their bread that they give with the soup. We also ate adana durum that was also nice. The atmosphere is not that good pretty small and the tables are very close to each other.
The prices are totally unreasonable and the stuff impolite. I paid 6€ for a TINY hot dog (they charged extra 2€ for ketchup/mustard) that was just taken off the package and put in the microwave. They served me the hot dog with the two sauces not as a topping on the hot dog but in their packages on the side, for me to add them! Zero effort made.
I didn't try the churros but I can tell they cannot be compared to the original ones.

Saw this place after some drinks and my friend was extremely keen on trying it. So we went in, got a large kapasalon and it was 9.50 euros which wasn't too bad. The portion was nice, meat was flavorful and did its job. Every kapsalon is dependent on the sauce and it was nice. This is not the best in the city but it was pretty solid and much butter than I expected. The employees were really nice as well. Nice place to get food after a night of drinking.
Worst decision of my life. There were no prices indicated and they charged us 45€ for three dry and cold waffles. Don't come here.

The owner was so rude to us , he almost kicked us out after only one of our friends has finished his food to free places for newly arrived clients. The portions were small and the kitchen was disgusting. I don’t recommend it at all!
I’m pretty sure the meat is from rats. Ordered chicken shwamer and the greasy troll didn’t even touch the chicken skewer on display. I don’t know where my “food” came from but it was disgusting and overpriced to the point I was embarrassed walking out. Currently urinating water out my rectum as my stomach rots away. Stay away from this place. Go buy dog food from the spar and you will be more satisfied.

Made a terrible mistake tonight popping in here for a quick kebab, the mutant behind the counter must of dragged some sort of rotten canal creature from the depths out and carved it in secret because he definitely didn't carve the decaying "meet" pole in the window.
Proceeded to have crippling stomach cramps whilst being starred and laughed at by the working girls in the windows as I hobbled home clenching my guts with tears in my eyes.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had was here, it was 5 years ago, but it was life changing and I have not stopped thinking about the food since June 7th, 2018. 5 stars through and through. I got shawarma with some sort of sauce that was insanely delicious and the sauce is what I have specifically not stopped thinking about.
Really bad service!!! The staff were very rude and aggressive! They screamed at us to get our food from the counter and wouldn’t even give us a fork to share a kapsalon. To top it off they got very aggressive with one of my friends when she tried to use the toilet after we spent 50 euro on food. Would not recommend eating here. Close down if you’re not willing to serve people with respect.
I would give 0 stars if I could. They advertise churros for €1 on the screen outside the store, in the end I ended up paying €24. I asked for 2 churros and the cashier girl with braids gave me 2 bags with 20 churros. When I made her aware that this is not what I wanted and that it feels like a scam she started insulting me and was incredibly rude. I never had a experience like this anywhere, let alone Amsterdam. In the end I ended up paying because I’m not from here and there was a sketchy guy in the store, I’m assuming the girl’s colleague as well listening to the interaction. In my opinion the city needs to put a stop to places like this that ruin the experience for the tourists.

Super tasty Turkish breakfast. Affordable and not too pricey. The service was also great, food came rather quick. One quick note: you can refill the breakfast unlimitedly!

I tried mixed grill, it is ok.. Iskander is good if you like meet, yogurt and bread with special sauce. Ayran milk you should try!

Overpriced & charges a "service fee". Doesn't take card (employees lie about the card machine being broken, but it seems to be broken every day judging by all of the other reviews). The food is also not good.

I would put -1 if possible. Worst service ever in Amsterdam. The old man at the entrance was quite rude when I just asked if I could pay by card (which wasn't the case). I didn't leave the place without the bottle of water just because I was really thirsty.
The Master First, we found the chef yelling at a customer. The smell of old oil fills the place. My friend ordered the kebab and I ordered the kofta. The taste was terrible. In short, if you want a bad dining experience, try Kebab House.🤮

Terrible food, terrible service. We ordered chicken and lamb plates. The only thing edible was the chips. They don’t know how to cook here. The lettuce was actually bitter. The meat was cut too small and was very greasy. The owner is very rude and cheap. The place itself is dingy and dirty. We saw a cat from the street walking into the restaurant and going into its back room. Don’t waste your money here. Anything else will be better. This place needs to close soon.

Absolutely delicious! A mix of varied middle Eastern/North African cuisine. And, I ❤️ the background music too. A place excellent for Vegan/Veggie eaters too.

Some of the food is good and authentic, though the food was very simple. Don't really like the bread which was served with it, not much taste. I think for vegetarians this place is not great. My friend had lamb which was good.

The food here was amazing. We ordered a few different items, and everything was fresh and incredibly tasty. The falafel, tzatziki, chicken, and rice were all delicious.

Very nice food and pro people. Zaytoona has supplied very delicious food for our company event. Everything was perfect abd we even went short coz people refilled their plates.
I Had to contact Zaytoona and they were so quick and nice to make extra in a short time.
I definitly will work with them again and would recommend it.

Amazing place to eat ,halal and top top quality. Definitely a place to eat as a Muslim and the staff is friendly and nice.

Quick service but the restroom was an extra charge and they didn’t have many options. Would be a good greasy food to eat late night but maybe not as good in the day. Overall the kebap was pretty good just not anything too special. They poured a ton of ketchup on our fries which made them pretty soggy and not good and then they wouldn’t give any more friends when we asked because they were soggy. They also don’t have any tap water and charge for the mineral water bottles they sell. I personally didn’t like that they charge one euro to paying customers just to use the restroom. The bathroom was also pretty gross. The seat was falling off and there was no soap :/

we had a very special evening it was like we were in meknes ( a very beatifull city in marocco )for a moment and enjoyed the live music and amazing atmosphere....we liked it so much that we even got married on this mesmerizing location

It was the most delicious kebap that we ate in Amsterdam. Definitely worth to try! The staff was so kind. And their baklava is the best. I will definitely come again and suggest here to my friends.
If you want to feel you're in Turkey just go to this restaurant! I had breakfast and it was varied, well-prepared, and very very delicious! The waiters are so nice, the atmosphere is super relaxing, and they even play Turkish songs most of the time, you'll feel in Turkey with a Dutch vibe :) My experience here was awesome.

Best Turkish kebap restaurant in the city. Price/performance is perfect. Satisfactory portions and amazing taste. The service is praiseworthy. The compliments (raw meat and salad) are also delicious.

dishes were tasty. Tea was good. Turkish coffee was super.
Negative:
1) we were 6. We asked for x3 breakfast menu for two people. they has this rule that you can ask to refill for small dishes (not omelete). BUT they won't tell you at the beginning. Once they brought the dishes and we noticed it is only x1 and not x3 and asked why it is like this, ONLY THEN they explained us about this refill rule which means if we wouldn't have asked about it they would just serve x1!! ;-)
2) in that menu there is an omelet dish. they brought only one pan to us. we asked why this one is not x3? they said it is. but we just made all the 3 pan omelets in one pan. :-/
3) there were only 3 boiled eggs for 6 people. we didn't ask why but probably they would say: "ah you can ask for a refill for this as well "
4) when we asked for the bill: He (guess he was the manager) threw it on our table!
5) while we were talking very politely to one of the staffs (who was very nice and polite) about our orders in the bill, he came very aggressively to us, crumpled the receipt and went!!!!
So up to you if you want to go there or not. but for me quality/quantity of the dishes doesn't matter when I am not treated respectfully.

Never step in this restaurant if you only speak English , however if you speak dutch they can make it so complex, the service is so weak , we ordered 3 times Serpme dishes for 6 persons which is complete breakfast they served only one time and later at the time of payment they told that because the table did not have enough space we would serve the rest after finishing the first part , which is so strange and did not serve any thing . Never back again ! Bad experience by today !
I waited to eat both breakfast and dinner to comment.Everything was in perfect. The friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere, and comfortable setting added to the overall great experience. Simply put, it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be visiting again.

The place looks beautiful and the service of the waiters are very kind and good. But we where dissapointed about the food. No one expect a restaurant to serve frozen meet or fish. I would advice this place to start serving fresh unfrozen meat and fish and not overcooked. Also some of the vegetable where not cooked well. The flavours did not blend in well together as it should. I know that Authentic moroccan food Is very good. But this was a huge dissapointment!!!! A beautifull place like Safir can do so much better And Hope they will in future.

The food was absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever seen (I couldnt even eat it). The adana kebab was compeltely dry and unchewable and there was a piece of plastic in it, the chicken was far too salty and every time I think of this place my appitite turns into oblivion. I wouldnt even eat their food if you payed me to do so.

Very delicious, very clean and lovely owners, they feed us for 3 days we thought to eat only once kebab, but it is so excellent that we only ate his products for 3 days.

Had the Bara chicken, the chicken was a bit dry but the flavors are really good!
Food is good, but delivery experience needs improvement - I’ve had orders accepted and then cancelled, or not accepted at all (even though they were open).
Really tasty food that was cooked very well. The steak was nice and tender, and the beyti was not too spicy. They do not serve alcohol, but you can forgo that for the quality of the food. As much as I love baklava, I was too full to even try any!

Went here for the first time a few years ago and it was delicious. This time we went with groupon and got the special groupon menu. With the starters there was a chickensalad which had hardly any chicken in it, but the spinache and bell pepper salad were good. Main course lamb was good, but the main course with chicken was to dry. Dessert with ice cream was good. The service was really great and friendly, they were also in for a joke or two.
Do not forget to try their yummy pizzas (all of them ) for only 5 euros on Mon,Tues, and Wednesday.. Though, they can be a bit slow to serve. But worth the time.
