Very nice appetisers, lots of flavour and super fresh. Very busy which is a good thing. Everyone sits on top of each other so maybe opening a bigger place would be better. Definitely eat here again. .
De paddenstoel pizza is erg aan te raden. Al is dat niet de gene die ik hier op de foto heb. Heel gezellig plekje en lekker eten ook het ijs!

Haven't been there for 5 years, but it's still one of the best places for brunch in Amsterdam. I guess we got a walk-in table only because there were some roadworks in front of it on that day. Usually, I would see a line of people standing outside. Also, on that they had some technical issues, so it was cash only. Lucky I had some cash on me, as you rarely ever need it in Amsterdam anymore.
The french toast and the pancakes were just perfect, and the service is as friendly as always.

We went for dinner at weekend . It's super full . We order pho and rice roll very tasty. But the reason why I just give 3 starts is the drink pa rt. A Cocacola need 5 euros !!! Same price as a dish .

Small and cute restaurant. Service was quick and the food was good. Highly recommend the Scone, was huge!

Very tasty lunch! Try the healthy shakshuka with mushrooms and the fried eggs with potatoes and cheese! They were both very nice! The atmosphere of the place was ok but not sth special. The lunch dishes are quite expensive though. The service was friendly but not very attentive. We had to wait for 20 min to order.
I had a really good brunch there with my friends. Food was good, but the only thing is, they took wrong order few times. And as one of my friend is pregnant I ask several times to have the eggs well done, but still they served runny eggs to her 🥲 we had to send back again to have it baked properly.
I’ve been to factory girl sooo many times now. It’s not a brunch place where the vegans are stuck with avocado toast. There’s an insane amount of options.
The food is always amazing in regards to quality and consistency, the staff are a breath of fresh air and so friendly. The coffee is so good and the coco angela is 💯

Delicious food, super fast service, reasonable prices. Was easy to get a table around lunch, reservations required for dinner. Will go back here again!
Really great breakfast spot. Good size portions. The pancake and eggs looked the largest. But I ordered the Amsterdam eggs Benedict and the French toast. All very good

Lovely quaint hipsterish cafe vibes, lovely authentic feel to it. Breakfast was delicious - only slight point was with the choice of two eggs, both have to be same type - scrambled, fried or poached.
Had to reduce by one star, food was a tad bit cold...not exactly freezing but could have been improved.

Best place to have Vietnamese food and the taste is amazing. My Vietnamese friend ranked this as the best so far and food is very authentic and feels like homemade. Price is normal and ambience is amazing.
Must try it would say - fried banana ice cream. Although everything is delicious here but the ice cream is my favourite

A beautiful café away from the hustle and bustle. Here we enjoyed a vegan breakfast and one with egg and salmon, that was prepared with love and creativity. This is how vegan food is fun. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not justified. Even though high quality ingredients are used, it was too expensive.
The Achterwerk offers 4,5 or 6 course meals with pairings of non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks. I have chosen for a pairing of half-glass alcoholic drinks while my partner chose non-alcoholic ones both with a 6 course meal.
I must say that besides the beverage choices there is a lack of cohesion in the dishes presented to the table, starting with the amouse bouche. We were served beetroot tacos and a small pumpkins soup with caramelised onions and coffee. While the tacos were quite good, I could only taste coffee in my soup. My partners soup had a different taste.
The first course was fennel, orange and sambucca. An interesting mix of flavours but slightly on the sweet side of things. The second is a cauliflower dish; as a plate it works, but the drink is really needed to balance out some acidity of it. The Kiwi and mustard was for me the worst dish of the evening, surprisingly the two dishes at the table had different tastes, one was sweet while the other rather sour. Fourth dish is likely my favourite, eventhough it may be a bit salty to some palets. The aubergine with cappers and black olives came together very well in an interesting mix of textures and flavours.

Such a cute small Vietnamese restaurant. They have really nice traditional Vietnamese dishes, but also offer great options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free allergies. This is scarce for Vietnamese restaurants! The Pho is really good, the curry however wasn’t my favorite. The deep fried ice cream is super good.
Best greek food I've ever had (outside of Greece) and one of our favourite spots in Amsterdam. Starters and vegetarian food is the true mediterranean thing. Crazy good place 😍

Oh! An absolutely delightful dining experience that I have had, twice actually, both for lunches!
Factory Girl is tucked away within the quiet corners of De Pijp, and a short meander from the metro station. We were always swiftly attended to, from the moment we stepped foot inside, until the moment we waltzed outside. So needless to say, we always loved the service. Everyone was warm and personal, asking us if our meal was alright and whether we needed anything else.
The food was always amazing and timely prepared! A caveat, i have an eye for choosing good items on a menu so usually, i tend to end up with delicious choices. This is something that I have learnt over the years... I personally recommend Turk's mom and their Asian noodles, both are delightfully delicious. They also have a good variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, just enough to allow considerable choices AND to ensure delectable quality in their dishes. Furthermore, the prices are good for the quality and portion, which is relatively generous!
The atmosphere lends itself to a hippy, alternative, with a rustic touch, vibe. Definitely more attractive to the younger population, and also a more international clientele.
Overall, everything was great and we had nothing to complain about. Food is delectable, just enough so we are just about full while our wallets stay happy. Service was warm and sweet. Atmosphere was great. 10/10!! Absolutely GREATLY recommend!!

Nice Vietnamese restaurant with reasonably priced food. The Pho Bo is okay, but there are better options with a more authentic taste. Considering the price, it's acceptable. They make an effort to recreate the Vietnamese atmosphere inside. However, they could improve clarity on drink prices since you need to ask the staff; it doesn't show on the menu.

For dessert we shared a sesame peanut butter balls. It arrived with some cream, I liked it but my partner didn't. The portion was rather small.
The fruit punch mocktail and homemade lime drink we had were both nice.

We entered after placing our reservation a few hours prior, but had to find our own table because the waitress wasn’t coming over upon arrival— all fine, thus far, we found our name written on the chalkboards. But we had to actually ask for a waitress to take our order, after waiting for another 20 minutes…
The window table was cold, due to a draft, the chairs are very uncomfortable. The window sill was covered in spiders and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a while, the toilet wasn’t very proper but luckily didn’t smell. And the food is way too overpriced…
Their own made iced-tea tasted sour, the beouf tasted like a burned sausage with soap (coriander) and let’s not mention the bitter and extremely sour tasting salad… the tempeh saté was dry and plain. The mashed potatoes and fries were delicious though!

The kitchen closes at 12:30, I reached there at 12:20, ordered the spinach salad 10/10, gyoza beef 10/10, vegetarian gyoza 7/10, squid fries 10/10, chicken katsuya 10/10. Amazing staff very welcoming very accommodating, amazing food, best I had in a while.

Definitely worth the hype. The place is very small and so the seating is very limited. If you are a group of 4 or more, the wait is gonna be very long. The atmosphere was nice but a bit too warm to my liking
For the food, we ordered full english breakfast and new amsterdam breakfast. The eggs were nice, the bacon was crispy but abit too salty, and the hollandaise sauce was very good, i think one of the best ive ever eaten.

My go-to Vietnamese restaurant in Utrecht! They have spacious place but usually very busy on Thursdays and Fridays evening, so might want to reserve.
I looove their fried rice (chicken and duck) and also their stir fried udon with shrimp. It’s so good and flavourful! The portion is a bit inconsistent, sometimes it’s big sometimes it’s okay.
Their dumplings are also good, especially combined with the light soy sauce!
And the decorations are unique, if you can get a place inside at night, you’ll feel in a vintage hangout place.

Amazing food— each dish had its own unique flavor and was seasoned to perfection. We ordered the the Magic Mushroom, which was marinated in a tasty sauce, but be ready to eat a lot of mushrooms. It’s perfect to split this dish and another dish with someone. The Turk’s mom dish had an amazing yogurt sauce— so good that we ordered extra bread as to not miss a single drop :)

It was a hell of a wait to get a table - almost an hour in the cold wind but my quesadilla was immense. Food is served up beautifully and the flavours were a mix of Mexican and Middle Eastern. Service was chipper and fast.

I had to visit 2 nights in a roll so I can appreciate more of their magic. Have confidence to order their soup/meat/fish of the day. You won't be disappointed. Reserve your spot or try your luck for an 8 pm dinner. This place cooks and serves from the heart.

Honestly the most underated restaurant in the city, now whether you love greek food like me or not is irrelavant because their food is absolutely exceptional. The staff is super kind even gave me suggestions for travel destinations in Greece, Thanos and Manitarian, so hats off to the entire team.

Really tasty and authentic Greek food in the heart of de Pijp! Limited seating so either make a reservation in advance or you can also get food to go deli-style. Everything tasted fresh and the staff were super nice. Highly recommend going here for a delicious, gezellig dinner!

Great authentic Greek food. Sadly they don't have many tables so order to go or get there early. They also have a fantastic variety of pre made meals that looked amazing. The service was very nice and the chef made sure we were happy with our meals. Greatly recommend although maybe call ahead make sure a table is available when you arrive.

Presentation of food is very special and most importantly, every dish had so much flavour. You can tell the chefs takepride in their work. Delicious high tea! We loved the soup and egg salad. The Vegan salmon was a little too fishy for us, but that's personal taste:)
Some of the desserts (rocky road) were a little too sweet, but very impressed with the beautiful cakes that they make!

We had a date there tonight. We were greeted warmly for only making the reservation 40 minutes prior. The atmosphere is enjoyable. The staff are attentive and kind. The dinner menu is delicious; we had the pesto burger and chili cheese fries. Dessert is decadent. We will return to try out other items on the menu.
Three of us had a farewell dinner in Spijshuis De Dis on a weekday, almost full house, cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff, each of us had three courses meal with some wine and beer, food is delicious, price is reasonable.

Excellent food and friendly service. It’s fairly small with limited tables but it’s sure worth it getting a table. The food quality is very high and and the recipes are authentic.
We had the loveliest experience here for a family dinner. Decor and details are beautiful. Service was amazing. Menu is inclusive of different ages and eating requirements. Food was high quality, well prepared, presented nicely and tasted delicious. Will definitely return.

Soutsoukakia is so amazing and very flavorful. It is a must have and goes well with a pita bread which you can order separately. Chicken Gyros is also amazing and full of meat. Good prices and amazing flavours. Lamb gyros is not good and can be skipped.

Staff - shorter waitress and waiter were fast, able to give an advice, knew the menu, friendly and caring. The higher waitress met me when I was getting the table and ignored that fact, so I had to wait 15 minutes, then go inside and ask somebody for a service. We had a very good dinner twice in this nice restaurant. I can recommend the surprise menu with matching wines. The young enthusiastic staff are very friendly and they explain the plates and the wine very well and professionally. We enjoyed this place and we will definitely come back again.

Absolutely lovely experience. As a balkan (coming with a greek person ) I felt welcomed and at ease with the staff. Most of them, if not all spoke greek so that was an advantage for the whole place.

This restaurant was a nice surprise! The location in very pleasant! The inside really transports you to the old times, but if the weather allows, choose to sit outside. I strongly recommend the mushrooms entree. I definitely want to came back and try other plates from the menu.
Best food you’ll ever have. The combinations, the drink pairings, the service and the food? All supreme. Vegan is not even just an option here but a „of course, no problem“. Everything is very friendly, down to earth while still super professional. We’ve been here twice but will come many more times whenever the occasion is right.
One of the best vegan pizzas I had and friendly staff. The place was cozy. And the chickpeas saus on the vegan pizza was amazing and a good replacement for cheese. I alsp love the fact that they have plenty of vegan options for drinks, soups, salads, pizzas, pastas and desserts.
Lovely restaurant, recommend to go. We had the 5-course menu. Can be had with matching wines, also half glasses. Good selection of wines; they went well with the dishes. Food was tasty and service very friendly.
Best restaurant we had in a long time. Food was excellent (best lamb cotelletes I ever had), the wine pairing was surprising and very good. The staff did their job very well. Price were also not bad given the quality of food. We will definitely return.

After moving to Meern just one day, we're lucky to book here kinda last minute for the dinner on 2812 evening. Only pity that we don't have much time to enjoy more dishes so only choose 3 courses dinner, but the impression is more than good to for sure to come back and enjoy more!

I would describe this place as Asian tapas place! I love their concept and the food. First time trying the one in De Pijp and I love the atmosphere here too.

Great atmosphere. Culinary food, authentic vibe. Small place but very cozy. We enjoyed the ‘chef’s menu’. A bit pricy - but worth it.

Fijne zaak, erg vriendelijk personeel en alles is mooie schoon. Als we online of via app bestellen dan worden we altijd snel geholpen en ze komen hun afspraken na. De cig kofte is er super!

Tasty greek food, everything was tasty starting from the souvlakis pathing to the baked fries in olive oil and ending with the greek salad with olives and feta cheese. I highly recommend this place for having a nice meal, I have ordered several times but only went there once and the place was nice. The staff were so friendly and nice.
Great dinner! Even if they tell you they're fully booked, you have the option to walk in and check. Friendly staff, quick, efficient and smiling. They have a good menu with different Japanese dishes.

Best Greek in town! The food is cooked with high quality ingredients and there are also many vegetarian options. Price are affordable. Highly recommended!
Great selection of sake and cocktails. The staff was really helpful in picking out which sake to go with what food we were ordering and they were pretty accurate. The place has great vibes, especially the Akira manga on the wall. Amazing selection of music. 10/10 recommend you visit.

Best Greek food I've ever had. The soup and meat of the day were delicious. Portions were perfect just allowing space for dessert. I'm not a huge fan of Baklava but I thought I'd try it and it did not disappoint. The potato wedges were the only real downside to the meal as they were hard and tasteless. If you're going to get the wedges definitely order some tzaztiki to go along with it. The staff were really nice and welcoming creating a warm environment. The ambiance inside was alright be it simple but the food definitely makes up for it. Would recommend to anyone wanting some authentic delicious Greek food at a fair price.

Wir haben hier eine kleine Kaffee und Kuchen Pause gemacht. Der Kaffee war sehr gut und die beiden veganen Sahnetorten (Tiramisu und Himbeer) sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren total freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Süßes Café!

A lovely restaurant with delicious plant-based recipes. From the interior to the menu (let alone the friendliness of the team), everything in this restaurant is worth visiting. We came for a late lunch and had delicious Pita falafel and (vegan) smoked salmon salad with warm drinks. The vegan smoked salmon was simply stunning. The place also seems to have delicious desserts. I highly recommend coming with friends to be able to try as many items as possible on the menu. You will not be disappointed!

LOVE your food. I go to Achterwerk every once in a while because it is so delicious and special every single time. We did the Valentines menu last week and even though we had to eat it at home, it was such a nice experience again! They even made a playlist on Spotify for it. The food of Achterwerk is pure art ❤️.

The food is really delicious and looks nice. The Restaurant has a big selektion of different small dishes, so that you can order a bit of everything. It is a really good place to go to as a group, because you can share all the dishes.

Had no idea that the food was vegan when we decided to have lunch there. Had my first vegan burger and I was very positively surprised. Also, awesome fries. I was not so much convinced of the vegan bacon on the pancakes, but overall great food. Friendly staff included.
The food is an experience. Incredibly many aromas that have been selected and brought together well. A suitable wine is served with each course if desired. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. And on top of that it is also inexpensive. I would definitely eat here again.
I've had meat here with the suprise menu and i've had it vegan both times it was amazing. Also very impressed with the cocktail options! They also give you some popcorn with nice spices upfront and they give you little dishes in between courses.

Wow great inexpensive fine dining. The fact it's a vegan restaurant for me was a minor point. The focus seems to be on great food, presentation and executed very well. The price point is about right for the setting. Really good attentive service too.

Alles an diesem Lokal stimmt. Schlichte und gemütlichiche Einrichtung, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, ausgezeichneter Kaffee und eine hervorragende Küche zu moderaten Preisen. Sechs Gänge für 55 Euro (ohne Getränke) scheint mir echt preiswert. Was für eine grossartige Entdeckung.

This is the nicest pizza place I've been to since living here in Holland!! The previous reviewer said the pizzas are oily, but that's because they add some garlic oil to the base after its baked. You can always ask for this to be left off. Real pizza isn't totally chock-a-block with ingredients, so these pizzas are thin and with some delicious toppings. I really recommend the pizza fungi! Juices were delicious too. You can taste that it's all organic.
