Best Beach pavillions in Netherlands

Nice food and staff. Great views. Only downside, during summer they sell french fries but it’s a total ripp off! Asking €5 per portion and filling uuthe baskets only half with fries?!When giving feedback the guy said: ‘well the owner says its €5 because it will take you 15 min to get fries elswhere, I guess he wants to make money fast…’ What a sad resto vison

Overall, the combination of the serene beachside setting, warm staff, and decent sushi made for a memorable and enjoyable meal.

Our quality of sleep is affected almost every friday given the noise the parties at the Japaner creates. They have no disregard for the community on Ijburg and impair our sleep. It is not normal that I can hear the DJ screaming, the music and let alone the strong bass from my apartment. Simply put this is not a venue fit for events as they have 0 noise isolation, whoever gave them their permit and allowed such events was definitely wrong to do so.

Nice spot in the beach but that was the only thing that was good. Service did their best but didn’t really make up for the food all taking long and every single dish coming at different times. Food didn’t taste much as it was under seasoned but we did manage to get black hair in our food. Horrible experience!

It is a cool place, we visited it in a very quiet Sunday, we enjoyed the sun on the pillows outside on the sand . The staff was quite "sleepy" and no really happy maybe to work on Sunday ahhh . By the way the place is very nice and for sure they organize cool parties too . I would recommend that in quietst hours to put some nice chill out music outside and to keep the vibe with more positives energies and not like zoombies . From the outside sand place you can watch the Wind 'n Wheels activities on the Land Sailing ( the tricycle vehicle with the sail ) . Next time we are going to visit this place we are going to try them, they looks like so cool to drive or maybe I should say to sail !

Very nice location on the beach, easy parking and tram access, and some good veggie/vegan options. Good for sunsets. They do occasional beach parties, check for updates.

Nice place to have a drink close to water with friends, not far from the city center but a little expensive. But I totally recommend 👌

I celebrated my birthday at Kaap in May, so we booked a part of the terrace for approx. 50 people in the afternoon, and then partied inside in the evening, when the DJs had arrived. We all had a really good time, as the beach and the bar are really pretty and comfy. Everyone was nice and helpful too, we are definitely planning on coming back! :)

I had an initial 5 star-review as the venue is really nice, but I'm changing it now.
I forgot my metal drinking bottle and immediately emailed the restaurant asking them to set it aside. They never responded. When I showed up only a few days later, the staff informed me it's standard practice to throw away everything left by customers, stating so much is left behind they can't store it all. I can only conclude this is not a very customer oriented place and they must not like returning customers.

We have been visiting Japanner for many years now (started with the one in de Pijp, then West, now Strandeiland), and the quality of the food never disappoints(very nice cocktails too, I love the wasabi one). Yes, true that the service at this location can be messy sometimes (it really depends a lot, when Yoshi is around it’s usually smooth, but there were more hectic summer days). BUT it’s still one of our favorite places to go to for a relaxed, cozy, yummy dinner (or lunch)- I love the spinach salad (that dressing🤤🤤), the haring sashimi, the mussels, the bao❤️, the yuzu cheesecake!

Feels like a beach café at the edge of the city. Bohemian vibe. End of the world feel to it. Friendly staff. And unique to Amsterdam. It's still free of charge parking. Only had some drinks there this time, next time we'll be back for some food.
