This is a beautiful small business shop with a heart and lots of character. Minimal plastic packaging (loose fruit and vegetables, both new and used paper bags available), great quiality of produce, has everything you need for everyday life, including cleaning products and cosmetics. Also has a little stand with wonderful and weird vintage/second hand items like tin boxes, champagne glasses, 'zeg het met een dier' postcards (my favorite) and cat-shaped candles. Also, they have amazing fresh bread, the tarwe eenkorn is to die for. I only wish they carried a larger selection of vegan cheese and ice cream.
Leuk klein winkeltje met veel lekkere producten, waar ik graag kwam en regelmatig iets leuks mee naar huis nam. Laatste tijd kom ik er helaas niet meer, omdat klantvriendelijkheid zwaar achteruit is gegaan. Die oudere verkoper heb ik wel eens opmerkingen horen maken naar klanten toe die je gewoon niet kunt maken! Dat bederft het voor mij wel, zeker als je 5 andere kaaswinkels in het centrum alleen hebt, waar je wél met respect wordt behandeld. Jammer en zonde.
Skvělé místo, kam zajít pro sýr. Ochotné a milé dámy poradí a dají ochutnat. V Alkmaaru chodíme pro sýr jedině sem.

We loved this little organic store. We found lots of goodies to take back with us to the states. Good selection on the clearance end cap as well.
Great variety of cheeses, we could bring some Alkmaarse Kaas to Argentina. Excellent customer service, all the staff is very friendly and they speak English.

Mijn pakket is zoekgeraakt omdat ze gestopt zijn met pakketten aannemen van DHL. Ze staan nog steeds als ophaalpunt vermeld terwijl het niet meer zo is. Erg jammer dit! Betere communicatie vereist naar DHL.
Great place to get fresh organic fruits and vegetables, along with some amazing organic breads and desserts. The people working there are friendly and knowledgeable.

A lovely store full of fabulous organic foods as well as delicious breads and baked goods. Lots of great vegan options and the emphasis on "real costs" is amazing. Highly recommend a stop in and a wander around the charming neighborhood. My go to place for vegan hagelslag!

I bought a couple of pieces of cheese in this store. Very kind staff (even speaking Spanish, which was really helpful). And the cheese, delicious.
Amazing independent organic supermarket! Very nice selection of products, including fresh produce at reasonable prices, amazing fresh bread and self packaged bags of grains, nuts and seeds!

Fantastic for fresh seasonal produce direct from the growers with a large assortment of foodstuffs and household products alongside. Friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere makes for a pleasant shopping encounter every time!

So much good cheese! Some of them are out to be tasted. And the staff feel happily tell what kind of cheese you are trying.

The store is much more than what you see from the street. They sell mostly food, but there is also some cosmetics. The products are supposed to be organic, bio, fairtrade, etc.
