The mosque look like well but it did not open for 24 hours.
On sundays, you can enjoy the buffet. It includes Paye, Halwa Puri, Chanay, Nihari and some other food and everything is made in excellent taste and standard.

The inside is well organized and decorated with Islamic decoration style, it’s also very clean and tidy. Very spiritual and calm, I like it so much!

The building has two entrances from two sides. It has a large room for jumua prayers, however in normal days, there’s a smaller room .

Beautiful mosque located just next to the river. Accessible via tram. When we came in September 2023, it was still under construction but we were allowed to pray inside. Toilet facilities provided for both men and women and they are of excellent standard. 💓
This Westermoskee 'Hagia Sofia' masjid is going to be a great landmark here, in shaa Allah.
Its timeline stated construction started 2013, but today (Sept 2023) ita interior seems not yet completed... probably due to insufficient fund?
Nevertheless, the hall can now be used for solah, and there is a dedicated space for women.
Meanwhile, looks like a donation campaign still on going. Interested parties to donate / waqaf please do so. Reckon, better still to come here and deal directly with its office.

FEEL COMFORTABLE AND PRAY
We went there to offer Jumma prayer. It's a very good feelings from the heart that we could offer Jumma prayer. 5-6 minutes walking distance fron RAI Amsterdam.

Haji Sophia Mosque located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is located on the banks of the canalized river Schinkel in Chasseburt, borough de Burges, Amsterdam-West. With 800 meters long, 137 feet high minaret and 82 feet high dome and a capacity of 1700 people, it is the largest mosque in the NetherlandsThe mosque is built in Ottoman style Construction began in 2013 and the building was completed in 2015. The interior work is still to be done.....
MashaAllah beautiful mosque. They are open for salah if you want to go inside and up the stairs. Part of it is under construction inside so you can’t see everything but it’s still possible to pray inside!

Went on a Sunday morning along with my family. Above mosque, there's Pakistani Buffet Breakfast hosted by Mr. Memon and family. It felt like more like a dawat at some rishtedars than a restaurant experience.
Ambience is basic and clean. Can get a bit noisy in busy hours. But if you're there for authentic nashta, you're getting it well enough.
Bieng a lahori, i give food 9/10.
Price is 16.50 Euro per person.
Excellent value for money.
Includes a buffet of fresh halwa puri, aalu bhaji, naan, anda chanay, paye, nehari, qeema, chai, coffee, tea cakes, etc.
From 9 am till 3 pm. Sundays only.

A quick mosque to do your salaat when you are on the road.
Open to public with free coffee, even non-muslims are welcome here, friendly peoples and you can Park in the parking space for free when it's free space are available.

Assalamualaikum. One of the best masjid in Amsterdam in a peaceful residential area. Prayed Eid salah and Jumah salahs with kids here. Separate section for females on first floor.. entrance from back door. Jumah salah starts around 2 pm in summers DLS.

Masha'Allah, beautiful masjid from a city where I felt the vibes of ummah. I always love travelling to places where muslims are heavily populated and Amsterdam was one of them.

Alhamdu lillah for being a muslim.
De blauwe tempel met Yassin el Forkani in haar gelederen is niets meer dan een verlengstuk van de overheid naar de moslims toe.
Yassin el forkani is een kafir dus je gebed achter hem is toch niet geldig. De rest van die figuren achter hem hebben een nieuwe religie gecreerd waar de profeet vzmh afstand van zou nemen. De mensen die daar nog gaan bidden zijn vaak onze analfabete voorouders of dwalende en omwetende jongeren. Moge Allah ze leiden

I went there today and I was surprised that only a few people came for maghrib. They did not provide a big meal for iftar. Only dates and water. But the praying space is clean and nice.

Beautiful mosque, felt as if I was back in Pakistan. Khutba is in Urdu and Juma prayer time was 1:35 PM when I went.
Very spacious and clean, lots of shoes rack, but long queue for exit door after the Friday prayer. Prepare up to 90 minutes for the Friday prayer.
Very clean, Imam says the khutba both in Dutch and Arabic, and he doesn't take long!

Helaas zal ik deze moskee niet meer betreden vanwege de shirk die ze verrichten. De verjaardag van de profeet hoort niet gevierd te worden! Het vieren van de geboortedag van de Profeet (vrede zij met hem) is een imitatie van de christenen, aangezien zij de geboortedag van cIesa (vrede zij met hem) vieren en hen imiteren is ons verboden. De overlevering leert ons namelijk dat het verboden is de ongelovigen te imiteren (in geloofszaken) en draagt ons op van hen te verschillen. Dit geldt vooral met betrekking tot de symbolen en rituelen van hun religie. De Profeet (vrede zij met hem) heeft gezegd: “Wie een volk imiteert behoort tot hen.”
De Koran en de Soennah zijn de bronnen waar men in geval van een meningsverschil naar moet teruggrijpen. Waar in de Koran of Soennah wordt aangegeven dat het voorgeschreven is om de verjaardag van de Profeet (vrede zij met hem) te vieren? Wie zich hier aan schuldig maakt of denkt dat het een goede zaak betreft, dient voor dit en andere nieuwlichterijen berouw te tonen jegens Allah

Food is so delicious. Breakfast and lunch items are so amazing. It just costed 16.5€ per person. Overall Pakistani experience and vibe is absolute delightful to see in Amsterdam.

Today I visited the Blue Mosque for the Jamu3a prayer. First time for me. I’m new in the neighborhood, it’s the closest masjeed for me, so I figured I’ll give this masjeed a try first. I liked it. It was very clean and I lived the ceiling art. The ladies have to take the stairs to the prayer area, I wonder how ladies who can’t walk stairs get up there? Is there anything arranged for them? Also, TabarakaRahman, the jamu3a was packed. We had to almost squeeze together to for lines for the prayer. We might need an extended area. ♥️ I loved it

Nice mosque with good facilities. Also section for women, and access is on the opposite side as the men's entrance. Very easy to get to with public transport

in my first 2 years its only busy on friday and ramadan , I actually enjoy such a group of peaceful people

A very beautiful Turkish mosque by the canal. Stayed two days in `Hotel Not Hotel' (an OK place) next to the mosque. Nevertheless, the mosque and the area is beautiful with lots of halal food, parks and more mosque nearby

Prayed Jummah here, was in Dam for the weekend. Lovely mosque, nice and big, very welcoming. Unfortunately being jummah and busy couldnt get inside, but the hallway where you put the shoes deserved the 5* alone
Alhamdullilah for everything!!! Was eating around the corner asked an akhi where’s the local masjid told me jus across road around the corner. Missed jamat prayer so read my asr sunna and fard alone after met some real good older uncle who had come to Birmingham many times also overs who were there all had smiles and came across very happy to see me there despite language barrier. When I come back will always attend this masjid if in this part of town.
It is a beautiful and a lovely place. Only it is not always open, so you have to ring the bell of you want to go inside. The prayers there are being held 5 times a day. It is sure near Amsterdam R. And it is about 12 min walking.
المسجد صغير لكن حين زرته كان فيه درس يلقيه الشيخ ابو المنذر تميز بنقاء العقيدة.
بل ان معظم المساجد التي يؤمها العرب في امستردام بعيدة عن الشركيات والبدع بفضل الله.
وربما تميز هذا المسجد بانه يؤمه رجال من اهل السنة يظهر عليهم قوة التمسك بما فهموه من الاسلام.
نسال الله ان يحفظ عليهم دينهم وامنهم وان يجعلهم في طليعة خير امة اخرجت للناس متبعين لمن ارسله الله رحمة للعالمين.

i was a tourist around the area and i happened to look outside of my hotel window and saw the great symbol of Islamic mosque. i looked at it again realised that was a mousqe and i thanked Allah for spreading the religion around the world.

I found this mosque(masjid)) within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Amsterdam RAI convention center. Good brothers there, mostly Moroccan.
Only thing I didn't like was after prayers TV was on and loudly in the next room and could be heard in the prayer room. But otherwise very good.
Also nearby there is a Halal Turkish sandwich and grocery store. This is the only halal eatery in the RAI area. Address of this store named Klavertje Drie is Maasstraat 62, 1078 HL Amsterdam, Netherlands
