Amazing service, the waiter was very polite and smiling. Also appreciated the food and atmosphere. It's a cosy spot for a lunch outside on a warm day.
I was recommended by my friend and I was not disappointed. I ordered sunflower risotto and I really liked it. The menu is very different but also interesting and delicious. It's a vegetarian/ vegan restaurant, so it was good for me as I am also lactose intolerant. The ambiance was also good, though I didn't get a chance to sit outside as it was raining.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something new to try.

I am disappointed with the board's claim of "FRESH TODAY" as the chicken was clearly not freshly cooked. I encountered numerous hardened parts, which greatly affected the taste and overall quality of the dish. It cost me £20 for a meal... what a rip off...
Insanely good food. I'm not even vegetarian, and this is some of the best food I've had in Utrecht!
I had the smashed avocado and halloumi muffin. No where on the menu does it specify spicy sauce and yet I had spicy sauce in my muffin. Avocado must have been too hard to mash as I was given a lump of hard avocado in my muffin also. When highlighting this to the stuff I was just laughed at. Very poor customer service and horrible breakfast muffin. Definitely will not be returning.

I got the food fast but I feel like i'm literally eating uncooked rice. I don't like it the rice is so raw.
This was the best breakfast we had in Amsterdam. Our party of four order four dishes and agreed that all were excellent. The freshness and flavor stood out. The restaurant is popular, as it should be, so there was a bit of a wait but well worth it. We hope to visit their location in Scotland next. I highly recommend Greenwoods for breakfast.
Beautiful spot for breakfast, very busy, we had to put our name down and come back for a table. Worth the wait, we got 2 full English breakfasts, they give you an option of how you want you eggs cooked, and what bread you would like. We had poached with sourdough, and our drink of choice was passion fruit orange fizz I believe. All together this sat us back £44.02 for two people. Only put down was the eggs tasted as if they had vinegar poured on them, other than that it was delicious.
This is an amazing place. Cozy with a great ambiance They have a very simple menu, and their use of fresh and sustainable ingredients is noticeable. It is also vegetarian friendly. For tourist like me, this place is close to major attractions, such as, the Anne Frank Hause and the Madame Tussauds Museum.
So very well worth the wait! The coffee was world class and the bloody Mary was also excellent. Loved the food and the staff too. Highly recommend.
The staff was nice but they messed up my order and I had to pay three times the sum I was supposed to pay. I ordered chicken nuggets and I got severe food poisoning for three days later, not only did I pay to much I apparently also paid for food poisoning. I hope it was a one time thing with bad chicken but I won’t be coming back.
I had to visit 2 nights in a roll so I can appreciate more of their magic. Have confidence to order their soup/meat/fish of the day. You won't be disappointed. Reserve your spot or try your luck for an 8 pm dinner. This place cooks and serves from the heart.

Quaint and busy restaurant with interesting vegan main dishes. I enjoyed my fancy risotto with chicory and fennel (I think). I was glad to have ordered the chips and mayo (very tasty) as the dish was a bit small for me after a long journey!
Pleasant service though it took a while to be greeted while I milled around at the entrance.

Incredibly good classic Dutch food by an owner-chef who takes food seriously. Exceptionally nice service. Atmosphere like being in someone’s home.
Super delicious food, good variety, dessert is not too sweet, the mushroom steak is just incredible. Beautiful place with a lot of outdoor places to sit.
Delicious food!! Reasonable prices comparing to all cafes and restaurants around. Small portions but really good food! Freshly made and cozy atmosphere feels like home. Cheese sandwich was so fresh and delicious! You havr to try the baguette that comes with scrambled eggs!! It’s warm fluffy and so so so good. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended ❤️

Presentation of food is very special and most importantly, every dish had so much flavour. You can tell the chefs takepride in their work. The best meal we had in the Netherlands during our week long trip. Fantastic!

Three of us had a farewell dinner in Spijshuis De Dis on a weekday, almost full house, cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff, each of us had three courses meal with some wine and beer, food is delicious, price is reasonable.
We had the loveliest experience here for a family dinner. Decor and details are beautiful. Service was amazing. Menu is inclusive of different ages and eating requirements. Food was high quality, well prepared, presented nicely and tasted delicious. Will definitely return.
The food was delicious, and a very generous amount, specially for such a price. It was very well plated too. The waiters took our order in spanish which was very nice of them (we are spanish, of course) and were very attentive. I also loved how almost everything could be ordered gluten free, and it had many vegan options too. I recommend it a lot

The food is very high quality. Meat is very delicate (I ate lamb and chicken), all the side dishes are aromatic. Sitting outside was a great choice, inside it was a little hot, not too much air.
Staff - shorter waitress and waiter were fast, able to give an advice, knew the menu, friendly and caring. The higher waitress met me when I was getting the table and ignored that fact, so I had to wait 15 minutes, then go inside and ask somebody for a service. Besides this little incident, everything was perfect.

Visited this place by recommendation from Instagram. The food was just fine with standard price. Personally don’t find it exceptionally worth visiting unless you are after a canal side meal or tea.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant and wanted to share my positive review. The staff went above and beyond to make my friend's birthday celebration unforgettable. They were extremely accommodating and surprised us by placing candles on the cake. Their assistance throughout the evening was invaluable. Additionally, the food was absolutely fantastic, leaving me thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant to others seeking a memorable dining experience.
I beautiful small place, next to a calm street. You order two, three small, super tasty small dishes and have the best picnic in Amsterdam. And everything is fresher then fresh.
Very nice option for a brunch in Amsterdam! I think my group was not lucky because the waiter made a mistake with all 4 of the orders, but it was a busy day and after all, the food was great and yummy. We got a table outside and the staff provided us with blankets for the wind. Fast service and nice meal, but be ready for a big waiting line to be seated.

The portion of rice box is ridiculously small. When I first opened it, it looked like I’d already had half of it. (Look at the photo and surprisingly I hadn’t even touched the rice yet)
Also, they didn’t give me sauce for my nuggets and I did ask for some. Terrible experience and pricy food regarding what I got.

Beautiful food and service. We came here super hungover from the endeavours of the night before, but nothing cures hangover like a little hearty food and a glass of mimosa 😉

We have really enjoyed our dinner. The atmosphere in the terrace was superb, the meal was perfectly presented and delicious. We want to highlight the kindness and wonderful service of Renee. She was so helpful and always with a smile on. Thanks Renee!!
We checked out @greenwoods.amsterdam for breakfast this morning and tried some of their diverse options. We went for the Full English breakfast, which included white pudding - a unique British and Irish dish made from oatmeal, suet, and pork meat.
We also had pancakes loaded with blueberries and bacon, and an unconventional Eggs Benedict topped with pastrami, sauerkraut, and pickles. Kudos to the chef, the eggs were cooked to perfection across the dishes.
Their outdoor dining setup added a nice touch to the breakfast experience. While the food was good, it didn't quite match up to some of our previous breakfast spots. That being said if I was invited here for breakfast I wouldn’t be disappointed.

This restaurant was a nice surprise! The location in very pleasant! The inside really transports you to the old times, but if the weather allows, choose to sit outside. I strongly recommend the mushrooms entree. I definitely want to came back and try other plates from the menu.

Had brunch here our first morning in Amsterdam. Perfect way to start our trip! Menu allows you to select three different options for your plate (with lots of variety to choose from) for a reasonable price. All items were delicious, especially the tomato soup! Friendly staff and a quaint atmosphere.. Highly recommend!
Everything about this place is incredible. The atmosphere is adorable, the food is DIVINE. The salmon sandwich and goat cheese are the two best things I've ever eaten. Favourite restaurant in Amsterdam by far. And to make it even better, ladies and gentlemen...HIM! Pedro, the wonderful little kitty who has his own little saucer and cup for water. The portions are designed to be small, so it's like you're creating your own picnic!! Cannot recommend this place enough. WE LOVE YOU, PEDRO!!
Delicious, fresh, authentic food. Great atmosphere with many native Spanish people. Super friendly staff.
We arrived about 10 minutes earlier than our reservation but it was no problem. One of the workers, Marco, was great company. We had a nice conversation in which he also mentioned what dish we could try and how you share the food with the other person.
The dishes were delicious and fresh🇪🇸! Great portions to share and enjoy with someone. Recommend ordering different dishes to do this.

What a fun place for brunch / lunch! The concept really is picnic-like: You order 2, 3, or 4 items from a good-sized list of sandwiches, soups, salads, and hot dishes such as quiche, and the staff brings out a single plate with all your small portions.
Everything we had was delicious, but my favorite was probably the quiche. Dessert was also tasty.
Of course, this is all enhanced by the presence of Pedro the cat, who visits from a nearby establishment. We were lucky enough to be seated next to Pedro's blanket, which meant we got to enjoy petting him and just being in his presence!
Reservations recommended for weekends.

Some of the best tapas I ever ate! As a reference, I had a lot of great tapas in Spain in my life. Lume offers fresh, modern and tasty food at good prices. Also the staff is fantastic.
Had an enjoyable relaxed time enjoying the high quality vegan food which is presented well. Service is efficient and staff seem to like working there. Sampled a few bottled beers which are organic, which is the theme of the restaurant so no corporate tap beer. Definately one to visit for both vegans and vegetarians. It is located out of town but easily walkable from the centre (about 15 minutes) Highly recommended.
I had an amazing breakfast in this place, cozy and warm full of handmade products such as cakes, waffles, muffins, etc. The coffee and the cappuccino were amazing even for Italian standards. It’s not big inside and there’s a small terrace outside on the pavement, so expect to wait a bit, it’s well worth it. There’s also an adorable visiting cat from the restaurant in front, that can make you company for a perfect and relaxing snack.
Such an excellent breakfast with superb service. We ate here on a Sunday morning and absolutely loved the welcoming, charming atmosphere. Our waiter (who was brand new) was so fun, witty, and made us feel right at home. Try the fresh orange juice—it is seriously sublime. Also loved the cat who apparently hangs out there. Honestly, just such a great way to start the day.
PS. If you’re celiac like me (or gluten intolerant), this is an excellent choice. They have gluten free bread—or you can opt for without. Either way, they’re very accommodating and are very conscious of food restrictions.

The best "zwarte rijst" in the Netherlands. Very good Spanish restaurant with tapas and paellas. It is a must if you visit Nijmegen. Cozy place with friendly staff.

For dessert, I went with the server's recommendation of brownie. It has some sort of frosted topping and honey, which was nice. It's plated in a sort of black rock slab, kinda cool.

Pretty decent food for an airport departure hall. As far as fast food places go, it's on the positive side. Food was tasty, hot and cane quickly. Albeit that the burger and kofta came wrapped off the dispenser behind the till so couldn't tell how fresh is fresh here. The burger and wrap itself though, did taste fresh and didn't have that taste of sitting around under heating lights. The food is pricey... But then you're in an airport so not much you can do about that. The place was clean, staff were really friendly and overall a good atmosphere. Would visit again should I be here.
